While the Hip-Hop world awaits Kendrick Lamar’s response to Drake’s last few diss tracks, Kanye West has inserted himself into the battle by throwing an arrow at the King of the North on Future’s “Like That” remix. Interestingly enough, Ye also took issue with J. Cole for removing himself from the drama and apologizing for even participating.

During a recent interview with Justin Laboy on The Download podcast, Justin mentioned J. Cole’s now- famous apology to Kendrick Lamar for clapping back at him on “7 Minute Drill” which caused Kanye to immediately respond by saying, “F*ck all that p*ssy sh*t.” A visibly surprised LaBoy didn’t expect such a blunt response, but that didn’t stop Kanye from going further into the subject saying, “F*ck all that sh*t man because it’s like that ni**a J. Cole went on tour with Drake. He know what it is. It’s like, ni**a, you can’t run now, it’s you also.”

Obviously, Kanye has a bone to pick with J. Cole, and he confirmed as much when he pointed out that his issue with the MC from NC stems from J. Cole’s cut “False Prophets” which Ye mistakenly called “False Idols” and said, “somebody told me it’s halfway about me.” Because of that Kanye says he doesn’t listen to J. Cole. Apparently, Cole is on Kanye’s sh*t list and now we know how he got there.

While J. Cole might’ve thrown some subliminals towards Kanye on “False Prophets” in 2016, we don’t know if this 2024 apologetic J. Cole will have some shots in the chamber for Yeezus; Kanye is seemingly ready for that smoke.
That being said, we’re almost sure Drake will take some time to acknowledge Kanye’s shots at him on the “Like That” remix in a bar or two on some verse in the near future. We just hope he doesn’t use an AI version of Jay-Z or someone else on it as well.
Also, during the interview, Kanye West said he’d like to have a threesome with Michelle Obama…but that’s neither here nor there.
What do y’all think about Kanye West taking shots at J. Cole for bowing out of the battle with Kendrick Lamar? Let us know in the comments section below.

Last week, it was reported that Kanye West put hands on a man for allegedly assaulting his wife, but now it seems like Kanye not only hit the wrong guy, but his story might be totally off base.

According to TMZ, the man that allegedly got handsy with Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, is actually one-half of a set of twin brothers who are quite popular on the restaurant scene in Los Angeles. As it turns out, he wasn’t the twin who supposedly committed the offense that led to Kanye West punching him. Apparently, eyewitnesses who were at the Chateau Marmont hotel say that Kanye’s version of the incident isn’t what happened, and now they’re speaking up.
Per TMZ:

Here’s what our sources tell us about how this went down, from their perspective … a man accidentally bumped into Bianca in the hotel lobby, which they say was busy at the time. We’re told it happened quickly, and the man went on about his way.
The guy went outside and sat at a table with friends, and we’re told it was at that point Kanye approached them … to confront the man.
At this point, we’re told Kanye punched the guy in the face … but here’s the crazy part — we’re told he actually ended up punching the wrong dude — because he’s a freaking twin, and his brother was right there sitting with him as well. So, a mix-up.
Christ on crutches, Kanye. SMH.
The twins in question are Mark and Jonnie Houston who will no doubt be more well-known thanks to Kanye’s off-the-wall antics.
Now, with authorities looking to question Kanye about the incident, Yeezy seems to be evading them as his team insists that the twin (who didn’t get punched) grabbed on Bianca Censori, spun her around and blew kisses at her, which led to the physical altercation. According to Kanye’s team, “This was a physical, sexual assault and any attempt to undermine the seriousness of what happened is repellent and vile.”
No word on whether the twins will sue Kanye. We wouldn’t be surprised if it came to that as the man may not be a billionaire anymore but he’s definitely got more than a few millions in the stash.
What do y’all think about this entire incident? Is Kanye cappin’ or do y’all think he stood up for his wife? Let us know in the comments section below.

For a while now Sexyy Red has been the talk of the town for a bevy of reasons, and though she tends to be overlooked due to the popularity of other female rappers such as Ice Spice and Megan Thee Stallion, Red continues to do her thing and steal the spotlight any chance she gets.

Lending her talents to Chief Keef and Mike WiLL Made-It for their visuals to “DAMN SHORTY,” Sexyy Red and company hit the streets in some exotic automobiles before hitting up a fancy restaurant where they take in an elegant meal while smoking on some bud much to the “delight” of the waiters and host. Who’s telling them they can’t smoke indoors?

On the R&B tip, Rod Wave looks to spend some time with the homies and in his clip to “Numb” hosts a poker night with the fellas where they play cards and sip on some potion before hitting the Waffle House for some munchies.

When Snoop Dogg took over the Death Row record label he once called home in 2022, no one knew what to expect other than the release of some classic catalogues on streaming services, but it seems like the Hip-Hop icon has reunited a fan favorite group from the 90’s that sold millions of records.

Once again riding alongside Kurupt and Daz Dillinger to form Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg and company drop off their new visuals for “Smoke Up” the Triple OG trio break out the all blue paisley DPGC attire and show these youngn’s how it’s done (or how it used to be done anyway) and walk out to the beat while flexing some classic cars and… some WWE title belts?! That was hella random. Either way it’s dope to see them back together on the same set.

From the West to the East, Dave East does some turning up of his own and in his and Scram Jones clip to “I Just Wanna” the two men hit the strip club and stack bricks of cash on the talent who leave little to the imagination as they twerk and work to get East to turn into the rain man. With all that thunder clapping how could he not?

Online gambling may be all the rage amongst sports fans, but pro sports players themselves are finding out that there are repercussions for placing bets on games, especially in their own profession.

Such is the case with NBA player Jontay Porter who’s facing the real possibility of being permanently banned from the league as he’s currently under investigation for “multiple instances of betting irregularities over the past several months.” According to ESPN, Adam Silver has bluntly stated that if the Toronto Raptors forward is found to have committed the “cardinal sin” of “playing” down or up to the over/unders set around his personal performances.

After multiple instances in which Porter’s performances (or lack thereof) in games between Jan. 26 and March 20 led to some big money making nights for betters, the NBA began an investigation. And Silver isn’t shy about laying down the law on Porter should it come to that.
Per ESPN:
“I have an enormous range of discipline available to me,” Silver said at a midtown Manhattan hotel, after the league’s annual board of governors meetings. “But it’s a cardinal sin, what he’s accused of in the NBA, and the ultimate, extreme option I have is to ban him from the game.
“That’s the level of authority I have here. Because there’s nothing more serious, I think, around this league when it comes to gambling: betting on our games. And that is a direct player involvement. And so, the investigation is ongoing, but the consequences could be very severe.”
One has to wonder if Porter actually did play up or down to the bets placed on his performances, but should it turn out that he did, it could be a wrap for the man’s young NBA career. That being said, it felt like it was only a matter of time before a professional player got caught up in such a scandal. Adam Silver is not going to hesitate to make a prime example of someone who isn’t exactly the cornerstone of an NBA franchise.
More from ESPN:
“At the end of the day, there’s nothing more important than the integrity of the competition,” Silver said. “And so, any issue raised around that is of great concern to me and to all commissioners, to all people who are safeguards, who are all people who are in a position and have a responsibility to safeguard the game. Again, this is a burgeoning industry in the United States. It’s been legal in other places in the world for decades. There’s lessons to be learned from the way that sports betting is monitored and regulated in other jurisdictions.

Should be interesting to see how this one ends up playing out. You can bet it’ll be ugly if Silver’s biggest fear is confirmed.
What do y’all think? Should Jontay Porter be permanently banned if he’s found to have committed the “cardinal sin” in sports? Let us know in the comments section below.

Joaquin Phoenix’s iteration of the Joker in Todd Phillips’ 2019 film centered around the iconic Batman villain was arguably the greatest version of the Clown Prince of Crime moviegoers had seen to date (Heath Ledger is up there too). And though the film was originally said to be a one-off affair, fans of the film demanded more. Now, we’re getting a sneak peak of what to expect in the follow-up to the cult classic that captivated a comic book nation just a few years ago.

After months of anticipation, Warner Bros. has just released the first trailer for the upcoming JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX, which once again stars Phoenix as the titular character and Lady Gaga as the new Harley Quinn of the DCEU. Breaking ground as the first musical live-action comic book film made, the film will pick up where Joker left off as he was institutionalized at Arkham Asylum where he ultimately meets his counterpart in Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) who feeds off his crazy as he does hers.

Though plot details aren’t really known, it seems like the film will be a sort of Natural Born Killers affair as the two ultimately break out of Arkham Asylum and wreck havoc on the streets of Gotham City while singing show tunes and dancing away the pain of their past as they evade the law.
Seems like a hit to us.
Check out the trailer for JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX below, and let us know if you’ll be checking it out when it hits theaters Oct. 4.

Linking up with Destroy Lonely for his latest visuals to “Potato Loaded,” Quavo and DL kick it with a gang of women while green beams light the elevator everyone seems to be “trapped” in as the women make it bounce over dollar bills scattered all over the floor. That’s that greenlight special.

It’s been a slow few weeks for hypebeasts as the recent Nikes and Jordan drops have been less than stellar. But anticipation has been building for the long-awaited Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue”‘s and judging from the numbers, it should be an easy copp for sneaker enthusiasts.

According to Sneakernews, Nike has gotten the memo from sneakerheads to mass produce their most highly-anticipated releases (instead of making them limited) and will be dropping a million pairs of their retro Air Jordan 4’s. Originally the sneakers were only going to be seeing a 500,000 pair drop as the “Reimagined” Air Jordan 4 “Bred”‘s did, but with the hype behind this colorway reaching a fever pitch, Nike decided to give us what we want while cashing in bigly as these are basically a guaranteed sell out on arrival.
Sneakernews reports:

When comparing the Military Blue and Bred Reimagined 4s, it’s worth noting that the Military Blues will most definitely be met with more demand. While sneakerheads were able to satiate their need for “Bred” Jordan 4s as recently as 2019 before the Reimagineds dropped this year, the Military Blue colorway hasn’t surfaced in any shape or form since 2012. For that reason, news of high stock numbers come as promising development for all those looking to secure a pair (sorry, resellers).
If production does in fact meet consumer demand, we’ll most likely see shock drops and other non-traditional rollouts just as we did with the Bred Reimagineds both before and after their official release on February 17th.
This is a good look for true-blue sneakerheads who’ve had to deal with sneaker resellers and sneakerbots that eat up inventory on hyped up sneakers that drop in limited quantities. With a million pairs available not only will it give heads a fair shot at copping for retail, but resale prices shouldn’t be ridiculously high.
Hopefully they do the same with their future Travis Scott and Off-White collaborations. Damnit, Jordan Brand, drop those purple and white Travis Scott Air Jordan 4’s!!!
The Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue”‘s are set to drop on May 25th. Will you be copping? Let us know in the comments section below.

It hasn’t even been a year since OG Hot Boy, B.G., was released from prison after serving 11 years.  However, the Ca$h Money rapper is facing the possibility of being thrown back in the bing for allegedly violating his probation.

According to the Guardian, B.G. might’ve run afoul of the law as he performed alongside other entertainers on stage without the permission of authorities. Huh?!? They can’t be serious. Apparently that “erroneous” act of defiance is enough to land BG back in the clink as a judge is weighing whether or not to punish the “Bling Bling” rapper for violating his probation.

Part of B.G.’s probation is that he “obtain prior written approval … before entering self-employment” and refrain from associating with anyone who has prior felony convictions. Being that he performed alongside the likes of Lil Boosie and Gucci Mane (y’all know their history) without getting approval first, a federal probation officer wrote him up and Baby Gangsta now finds himself at the mercy of the court.
The Guardian reports:
Dorsey’s probation officer described asking the musician about his employment choices as well as telling him that he needed to find other work. According to the officer, Dorsey’s response was: “I’m a rapper. That [is] my profession.”
The officer applied for a warrant to arrest Dorsey on 21 March, saying he had violated multiple conditions of his supervised release. US district judge Susie Morgan of New Orleans, where Dorsey had been prosecuted when first imprisoned, signed off on it a day later, according to records.
Dorsey was arrested in Las Vegas and appeared in a federal courthouse there on Wednesday. After being ordered released on his own recognizance, he was told to appear in federal court in New Orleans as required while officials deliberate whether or not to revoke his supervised release and reincarcerate him. Subsequent court dates were not immediately available.
B.G.’s PO is out here hating big time. Just sayin’.
Hopefully, B.G. isn’t punished for being a rap artist in a music game where many of his peers have had their run-ins with the law as he’s only performing alongside them and not participating in some street ish.
What do y’all think of B.G.’s situation? Fair or nah? Let us know in the comments section below.

Bun B has the hottest thing coming out of Houston since “Still Tippin’” in his wildly popular Trill Burgers. But now, it seems like Bun B’s baby is at the center of a court case with several allegations being thrown around.

According to Chron, Bun B and his ex-associates and co-founders of Trill Burgers, Patsy, and Benson Vivares, are duking it out in a court of law as both sides are accusing each other of theft.

In 2023 Bun B, Andy Nguyen, and Nick Scurfield filed a lawsuit against the Vivares brothers alleging that the two had stolen $45,000 from the company’s coffers. Turning the tables on Bun B and company, Patsy, and Benson filed a counter lawsuit in which they claim that Bun B, Nguyen, and Scurfield not only stole their smash burger idea but also the original recipe, which led to Trill Burgers being crowned the best burger in America.
Represented by Saad Aziz and Walter “Web” Beard of Aziz and Beard Trial Law, the Vivareses are claiming that they linked up with Andy Nguyen in 2021 when they were looking for a new menu item to add to their Sticky’s Chicken restaurant menu.
Chron reports:
“[The Vivareses] spent a lot of time and energy developing the recipe,” Aziz said. “They are the ones who kind of came up with the specifics of the smashburger … now called the OG Trill Burger.”
According to the counterclaims made by the Vivareses, the siblings and Nguyen in July 2021 connected and partnered with Bun B, who had known Nguyen since 2010 and was said to be a fan of Sticky’s Chicken. At the time, Bun B was approached by the Vivareses through a meeting facilitated by Nguyen and Nick Scurfield, founder of the public relations firm Scurfield Group who at the time listed Sticky’s Chicken as a client. According to court documents, the initial meeting was set up to test the rapper’s interest in “being involved with the promotion” of the burger.
A partnership over the smashburger concept was confirmed on July 22, with each partner assuming a percentage of ownership, according to court documents. An email sent to each partner outlined the partnership, indicating that the Vivareses and Nguyen together would retain a 50 percent share, Bun B would have 40 percent, and Scurfield would retain the remaining 10 percent. It is unclear how ownership was split between Nguyen and the Vivareses, though court documents claim that the Vivareses are entitled to 33.4 percent. By Jan. 4 , 2022, a limited liability company was established for Trill Burgers.
Damn! We thought this was Bun B’s secret recipe, but the Vivares are claiming that it’s theirs. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in court and who came up with the recipe that put Trill Burgers on the map.

Still, the Trill Burger made its debut in February of 2022 at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and was a massive hit. The Vivares brothers ran the pop-up themselves and cooked thousands of burgers that day bringing in quite the haul.
As for the $45,000 that Bun B’s team claimed was stolen by the Vivareses, the brothers admitted in texts to “misappropriating” the money but said that all the partners were aware that they would use the profits from the pop-up to pay off Sticky’s mounting debts.
The Vivareses are seeking $1 million from Bun B, Scurfield, Nguyen, and Trill Burgers, LLC, saying they not only stole their recipe for Trill Burgers but also poached their chef, Mike Pham, in the process.
What do y’all think of the drama surrounding Trill Burgers? Let us know in the comments section below.
