Here Are the Lyrics to Lady Gaga’s ‘Abracadabra’

Lady Gaga continued the roll-out of her eighth studio album Mayhem with “Abracadabra,” as well as its cinematic, dance-focused music video.

The song — which was debuted during the 2025 Grammy Awards — hit No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Below, find the lyrics to Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra.”

Abracadabra, abracadabra
Abracadabra, abracadabra

Pay the toll to the angels
Drawin’ circles in the clouds
Keep your mind on the distance
When the devil turns around

Hold me in your heart tonight
In the magic of the dark moonlight
Save me from this empty fight
In the game of life

Like a poem said by a lady in red
You hear the last few words of your life
With a haunting dance, now you’re both in a trance
It’s time to cast your spell on the night

“Abracadabra, amor-ooh-na-na
Abracadabra, morta-ooh-ga-ga
Abracadabra, abra-ooh-na-na”
In her tongue she said, “Death or love tonight”

Abracadabra, abracadabra
Abracadabra, abracadabra
Feel the beat under your feet, the floor’s on fire
Abracadabra, abracadabra

Choose the road on the west side
As the dust flies, watch it burn
Don’t waste time on a feelin’
Use your passion, no return

Hold me in your heart tonight
In the magic of the dark moonlight
Save me from this empty fight
In the game of life

Like a poem said by a lady in red
You hear the last few words of your life
With a haunting dance, now you’re both in a trance
It’s time to cast your spell on the night

“Abracadabra, amor-ooh-na-na
Abracadabra, morta-ooh-ga-ga
Abracadabra, abra-ooh-na-na”
In her tongue she said, “Death or love tonight”

Abracadabra, abracadabra
Abracadabra, abracadabra
Feel the beat under your feet, the floor’s on fire
Abracadabra, abracadabra

Phantom of the dance floor, come to me
Sing for me a sinful melody
Ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah

“Abracadabra, amor-ooh-na-na
Abracadabra, morta-ooh-ga-ga
Abracadabra, abra-ooh-na-na”
In her tongue she said, “Death or love tonight”

I used to think about immature things
You know, like
Do you love me? Do you want me?
Are you gon’ call me like you said you would?
Is this really your real phone number?

Some of y’all gon’ get washed (washed)
Some of y’all just gon’ pop shit
Some of y’all just gon’ talk (talk)
But none of y’all ain’t really got shit
Some of y’all just look lost
I get this type of feeling you ain’t accustomed to
I swear I’d be at peace if it weren’t for you (yeah, yeah)
Only want your love if it’s solid
But if it’s fuck me, then fuck you (huh)
And that’s the way I like it
That’s the way I like it
And that’s the way I like it
Ain’t huggin’ or smilin’ for none of these bitches
That’s the way I like it
I’m wipin’ ’em down in front of they nigga
That’s the way I like it
I’m thirty for thirty, I’m thirty for thirty
I’m thirty for thirty, I’m thirty for thirty, I’m-

Chat
Should I fold that bitch, no yoga mat?
Chat
Should I dead that nigga? Don’t hit me back
Chat
Should’ve ran down on you, no questions asked
Chat, chat, they chattin’, they chat

When the sun go down, everything make me feel lonely, yeah
Had a lil’ side thing, but right now, he’s just the homie
Tryna feel good inside, he never wanna hold me
Pipe me up, you get me hyped, you my favorite coach, come press the line
Fucking stress off, that’s my only vice
I take it off when he tell me if I’m feelin’ fine
I run it up, risk it all like I’m rolling dice
Takin’ it all, it’s my second life
That’s me (that’s me)
Passed out in a nigga backseat (backseat)
Crashed out on a black-sand beach (uh)
Already know my body
Already know that’s me
Bitch shit, then you might get minked
Mink, mink, mink
Only want the love if it’s solid

Some of y’all gon’ get washed (washed)
Some of y’all just gon’ pop shit

Everything been otay (otay)
They salute me so damn much, every time I show up, nigga about-face
Everything no cut, I fuck y’all up, I’m really gon’ trip ’bout bae (mm-mm)
Blow the ’87 guts, why they waitin’ on us? Tell ’em I was on PCH
You fuckin’ with niggas that’s thinkin’ they cuter than you, oh
Say you on your cycle, but he on his period too, oh
The tables been turnin’ so much, I was thinkin’ it’s foosball
The tenderness of ’em, mistakin’ ’em for some wagyu, oh
Walk, talk, like Kenny, like boss
Like Solana, I promise, more buzz, it’s a wasp
It’s a crater or a spaceship, shut the fuck up, get lost
No favors, I’ll wager whatever you worth, I ball
Somethin’ about a conservative, regular girl that still can beat a bitch ass
Thorough as fuck, don’t need your bitch ass
Psychic as fuck, can read your bitch ass
Zodiac sign, it must be a Gemini moon ’cause, shit, we about to go half
Mistakenly, nobody been in they bag, but how many bodies done been in her bed?

Some of y’all gon’ get washed (washed)
Some of y’all just gon’ pop shit
Some of y’all just gon’ talk (talk)

The “My Life As Harry Potter” collection features 18-inch dolls styled and inspired by the four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. The dolls have fully posable arms and legs and hair that can be brushed and styled. The dolls’ eyes open and close when the their heads are tilted or set back.

Each doll comes packaged in a collectible box and each set includes a shirt, vest, skirt, robe, scarf, socks and shoes, plus accessories like a suitcase and wand. The mascot of each house accompanies the doll, as does an “official” Hogwarts acceptance letter.

My Life As Harry Potter Hufflepuff

This Hufflepuff doll comes with a mini stuffed badger mascot.

My Life As Harry Potter Ravenclaw

The mascot of Ravenclaw House is an eagle, and this Walmart release gets you the Ravenclaw eagle in a cute blue colorway.

My Life As Harry Potter Slytherin

Salazar Slytherin founded the House of Slytherin and with it comes a green serpent mascot. Of course, this plushy version hardly looks as menacing as the one on the house crest.

My Life As Harry Potter Gryffindor

The Gryffindor mascot is a lion and you get a cuddly miniature version here with this Gryffindor doll. The dolls are great for both Harry Potter fans and collectors alike and make a great gift idea too.

My Life As Harry Potter Herbology Classroom Playset

You can also find an official “My Life As Harry Potter” playset, which features 41 different accessories, including a table and chairs, plans, pots, textbooks, Mimbulus mimbletonia and more. The classroom playhouse measures 23.6 x 21.3 x 9.16 inches in size. It opens for playtime and closes up — suitcase-style — for easy storage.

This is an officially-licensed collaboration and the dolls come on the heels of a new illustrated edition of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” due out in October.

This is the latest Harry Potter merch release to hit the internet — the wizarding series has inspired everything from a candle collection to official LEGO sets, which you can shop here.

Drake Ties With Jay-Z & Taylor Swift’s Record on Billboard 200 | Billboard News

Drake has officially tied the record of having 14 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 with his latest album with PARTYNEXTDOOR on ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U.’ Keep watching to see how the three have achieved this feat, and who has the most No. 1s on the Billboard 200!

Tetris Kelly:

Drake just grabbed his 14th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR, but outside of the memes we are definitely about to discuss, did you know that he now ties the record for most No. 1s ever on that chart ever with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift? We’re breaking down this historic feat. Just a few of Drake’s 14 chart toppers include ‘Take Care,’ ‘Views,’ and ‘Certified Lover Boy.’ Even after his current feud with Kendrick Lamar, he has captured the attention of the internet with the new album, returning to his Loverboy era. Drake was ready to move on. In “GIMME A HUG,” debuting at No. 6 on the Hot 100, he rapped – and “Nokia” did just that, debuting at No. 10. Both songs have been taking social media by storm with memes & TikTok renditions, with even Drake poking fun at his own lyrics by posting these. Drake now has 80 Hot 100 Top 10s, which is the most in history, leaving us asking, “Where the f**k the function?”

And Taylor Swift herself also happens to be a fan of Drizzy, and the pop superstar has 14 of her own No. 1 albums including ‘Fearless,’ ‘Red,’ and ‘1989.’ And by releasing her older albums as “Taylor’s Version,” most of her albums have topped the chart twice. Iconic. The third in this record-holding trio is another hip hop icon is Jay Z.

Keep watching for more!

If there’s a bag to be had you can bet that Benny The Butcher is ready to pick it up as the man has infinite bars when some paper’s involved and as the most active member of Griselda out on these streets, you can expect that man to pop up on blocks you’d never seen him before.

Linking up with P.R.E.M.O. for the visuals to “Change Your Life (Remix),” The Butcher heads down to South Beach from Buffalo, NY to turn up with the iced out rapper as they hole up in a private room where they’re joined by a gang of thick bikini clad women who count their cash while indulging in some adult juice and hookah’s as a reward for an “honest” day’s work. Y’all just know they messed out the count being that tipsy.

On a cinematic level, Don Toliver attempts to show he can do his thing in Hollywood if given the chance and in his clip to “Tore Up,” DT finds himself in a Mad Max kind of world where the rule of law no longer applies and it’s basically every man for himself. At least strip clubs is still a thing in a post-apocalyptic world, right?

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Wiz Khalifa and Chevy Woods, 38 Spesh, and more.

Nipsey Hussle’s Brother Blacc Sam Gives Documentary & Posthumous Music Update

Nipsey Hussle fans might be getting new material from the late rapper soon.

While sitting down with Power 106 L.A.’s Brown Bag Mornings, his older brother Blacc Sam spoke on the upcoming documentary that was teased a couple years ago and revealed that a Nipsey and Bino Rideaux collab album should be coming out this summer.

When it comes to the highly anticipated documentary, Sam expressed wanting to make sure the family had full creative control. “That’s been the journey,” he said. “It’s not for sale. People can’t throw some money at us and tell us, ‘It needs to be two episodes or three episodes.’ The creative is not for sale, so we just been kind of like backing away, turning down a lot of offers, and putting our head down and working. And once it’s finished correctly, its looking like maybe eight episodes, then we’re going to come out and release it.”

As far as new music is concerned, he said that a new project with fellow L.A. native Bino Rideaux is in the process of being completed, but made sure to add a disclaimer first. “Also with the music — if Hussle didn’t actually do the verse or work with the person or put together the blueprint for the project — we not doing it,” he said.

“He did something with Bino and there’s a new project that we’re about to release and this is a project that he had with Bino that was pretty much 80 percent finished. So, the team came in and got some unreleased music that he did with Bino and tightened it up. It sounds amazing and it should be coming out around this summer.”

Queen Latifah to Take Part in Quincy Jones Tribute at 2025 Oscars

Queen Latifah is set to take part in a tribute to Quincy Jones on the 2025 Oscars, which is set to air on Sunday (March 2) from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The actor and musician performed on two tracks on Jones’ 1995 album Q’s Jook Joint.

The news was announced by Raj Kapoor, the telecast’s executive producer and showrunner, during a press conference on Zoom with the creative team. “One of the most exciting things that we’ve worked on this year is a musical performance that will tribute Quincy Jones,” he said.

Trending on Billboard

“We’ve planned and curated this beautiful moment that we hope will uplift the room, that will celebrate the spirit of Quincy and all of his greatness,” said Kapoor, who is co-executive producing the show for the second year in a row (and is part of the Oscars team for the ninth time). “It’s a beautiful moment, and we think it will be very celebratory and make everybody feel really good.”

It’s no surprise that Jones will be receive a special tribute on the show. The producer and musician, who died in November at age 91, made Oscar history many times. He was the first Black musician to be hired as music director on the annual Oscar telecast. In 1967, he became the first Black composer to receive an Oscar nomination for best original song. Jones is, to this day, the only Black composer with three nods in scoring categories, for his work on In Cold Blood (1967), The Wiz (1978) and The Color Purple (1985).

Will Smith, who starred in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which Jones executive produced, would have been a natural for the Jones tribute, but he was banned from all Academy Award events for 10 years in 2023 following his misbehavior on that year’s telecast.

Smith was part of the tribute to Jones on the Grammy Awards on Feb. 2. He shared memories of working with Jones on the show, which Kapoor also executive produced. The Grammys also featured musical tributes to the beloved musician by Herbie Hanock, Cynthia Erivo, Stevie Wonder, Lainey Wilson, Jacob Collier and Janelle Monáe.

In the Zoom conference, the Oscars’ first-time music director Michael Bearden said he has long walked in Jones’ footsteps. Both men were born on the south side of Chicago, moved to New York, and then moved to Los Angeles. “Quincy is really the blueprint of what I’m able to do,” he said.

While the creative team was reluctant to spoil surprises, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are expected to perform a Wicked medley to kick off the Oscars ceremony. Other performers on the show are Doja Cat, Raye and BLACKPINK’S LISA. The 97th Oscars will also feature a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

First-time show host Conan O’Brien explained the team’s reluctance. “You don’t tell people what you’re going to do. A magician told me that.”

O’Brien has hosted the Primetime Emmys twice (in 2002 and 2006) and the MTV Movie Awards (in 2014). But as he said, the Oscars are on another level. “The Oscars feels it’s all of that on steroids,” he said. “The Oscars team is incredibly professional. It’s like for the first time getting to drive a Ferrari. … I wanted to be part of this magical machine.”

O’Brien said he reached out to past hosts Billy Crystal and Jimmy Kimmel for advice. Crystal has hosted the show nine times; Kimmel, four times.

Kapoor announced there will be a charitable component to the show, as there was on the Grammys. “People will be able to interact, and they are free to donate if they would like to.”

Kapoor, Bearden and O’Brien were joined on the Zoom call by executive producer Katy Mullan, co-executive producer Rob Paine, producer and writer Mike Sweeney, writer Jon Macks, production designer Alana Billingsley and supervising choreographer Mandy Moore.

Lil Baby’s ‘Cowardly’ Actions at Music Video Shooting Led to Teens’ Murders, Atlanta Police Allege

Atlanta police have alleged that a May 2024 triple shooting on the set of a Lil Baby (born Dominique Jones) music video sparked a gang war that led to multiple homicides.

Major Ralph Woolfolk of the Atlanta Police Department hosted a press conference on Wednesday (Feb. 26) announcing the arrest of seven individuals tied to the July 2024 murders of 13-year-olds Jakody Davis and Lamon Freeman, who were ambushed at a birthday party for Freeman.

During the presser, Woolfolk referenced that the teens’ murders were tied to a gang war, which was allegedly connected to the triple shooting on the set of Lil Baby’s music video in Northwest Atlanta last May.

Trending on Billboard

“Gang violence that was orchestrated by adults. And the cowardly acts of an Atlanta-based rapper that decided to go into a rival gang stronghold in a place he knew he should not have been,” Woolfolk said, per Channel 2 Action News, who confirmed the Atlanta rapper referenced was Lil Baby.

Police alleged that in the months following the incident, multiple shootings and homicides can be tied back to Lil Baby’s music video shooting.

Investigators reportedly alleged that a “high-ranking” member from a gang opposing Lil Baby called in the hit on the pair of teens using a cell phone from behind bars in a Georgia prison.

“This team will work relentlessly to hold you accountable,” Woolfolk said while addressing the Atlanta rapper. There is a $50,000 reward for those with more information.

On the music side, Lil Baby is coming off the release of his WHAM album, which topped the Billboard 200 in January. The 30-year-old is slated to hit the road for the WHAM World Tour with BigXthaPlug and NLE Choppa in June.

Billboard has reached out to Lil Baby’s team for comment.

Kendrick Lamar Takes College Classes in Newly Surfaced Photos: ‘Just a Normal Day at UCLA’

Kendrick Lamar may be one of the most successful rappers alive, but he stays humble when it comes to his education.

In newly surfaced photos from 2022 that have been going viral following his 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, the Compton artist sits in a classroom over the course of a few different days, looking casual in various hoodies. In a couple, he checks his phone while at his desk; in others, he appears to diligently pay attention.

The snaps were shared this week by a TikTok user, who wrote in text over the slideshow, “pov: just a normal day at UCLA.”

“It wasn’t until later that someone told me who he was,” she added. “I might take this post down since I don’t know if sharing it is the right thing to do.”

Billboard has reached out to Lamar’s rep for comment.

The new photos show up just a couple of weeks after Dot took the world by storm with his halftime showcase, which — with 1.33.5 million pairs of eyeballs — set a new record for most-watched Super Bowl performance of all time.
