Alex Warren Performs ‘Ordinary’ on ‘Love Is Blind’ Reunion

Alex Warren found his out of the “Ordinary” love with wife Kouvr Annon, and he took that feeling to the stage of Love Is Blind.

The 24-year-old star delivered his newest hit on the Netflix series’ season 8 reunion, marking the first-ever performance on the show. Warren was introduced by Love Is Blind co-hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey, before he’s seen belting the swoon-worthy lyrics through the show’s set. “The angels up in the clouds are jealous knowin’ we found/ Somethin’ so out of the ordinary/ You got me kissin’ thе ground of your sanctuary,” he proclaims on the song’s chorus.

As for spoilers during the Love Is Blind reunion episode, Taylor and Daniel were the only couple to leave season 8 married — and still are.

“Ordinary” marks Warren’s second Billboard Hot 100 hit — following “Burning Down” — peaking at No. 61. The singer, who was named Billboard‘s January Chartbreaker, is currently in the midst of the European leg of his Cheaper Than Therapy tour. The run makes its way to North America in April, kicking off on April 24 in Dallas, Texas, and stretching across the continent before wrapping off the mainland, in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 13. Warren then heads to Australia to finish up the tour.

50 Cent Clears Up ‘Fake News’ Over Alleged Shooting Hospitalization

50 Cent is speaking out after false rumors ran rampant on social media of him being the victim of an alleged Hollywood shooting, which he deemed to be “fake news.”

“Don’t worry I’m gonna make it, because this is fake news,” he captioned the IG post on Sunday (March 9) with a screenshot of the viral TikTok citing TMZ as the source of the shooting news.

TMZ‘s website and social media accounts don’t show any signs of reporting on a shooting involving 50 Cent in recent days.

Trending on Billboard

“Don’t they know shots don’t kill you,” one person commented on his IG. “They should have come up with a different cause.

Another chimed in: “50 ain’t got no chill…. To post ya own fake news is diabolical.”

Many others attempted to draw a line from the refuted shooting claims to 50 being the victim of a shooting where he was hit with nine shots from point-blank range outside his grandmother’s Queens home in 2000 before his music career would take off.

The miracle survival and second change at life has long been part of 50’s rap lore as well as heavily connected to his discography with the G-Unit referencing the shooting on tracks like “Many Men” and “9 Shots.”

Thankfully, 50 Cent seems to still be in good spirits despite the bizarre claims going viral. As usual, it’s a busy time in the 50 universe, as Power Book III: Raising Kanan returned with season four kicking off in exhilarating fashion on March 7.

ICE Arrests Mahmoud Khalil, Palestinian Activist With Green Card Linked To Columbia Protests

An activist who was a key organizer of the pro-Palestinian student protest movement at Columbia University was arrested by ICE over the weekend.

The effort to detain and deport student activists by President Donald Trump took a new turn as federal authorities arrested an activist who helped organize pro-Palestinian student protests at Columbia University. Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate student at the university until last December, was detained by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents last Saturday evening at his university-owned apartment. According to his lawyer, Amy Greer, Kahlil is a legal green card resident of the United States. They also threatened to arrest his wife, an American citizen who is eight months pregnant.

Department of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin confirmed Khalil’s arrest on Sunday night to the press. “Khalil led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization,” she said. “ICE and the Department of State are committed to enforcing President Trump’s executive orders and to protecting U.S. national security.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio went further in a post on X, formerly Twitter, linking to another article covering the arrest and writing: “We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported.”

“We will vigorously be pursuing Mahmoud’s rights in court, and will continue our efforts to right this terrible and inexcusable — and calculated — wrong committed against him,” Greer said in a statement, adding that Khalil’s arrest “follows the U.S. government’s open repression of student activism and political speech.” Greer said that they were unsure of his “precise whereabouts,” stating that they were told that he was being held in an immigration detention facility in Elizabeth, New Jersey, but when his wife arrived to visit she was told he wasn’t there. She speculated that he could be as far away as Louisiana.

Khalil had served as a negotiator between students who erected encampments at Columbia and university officials last spring. It made him a target for pro-Israel figures who labeled him as antisemitic, including Columbia University professor Shai Davidal who openly called for him to be deported. The arrest has sparked outrage from several civil liberties groups. Columbia Law School immigrant rights director Elora Mukherjee said that revoking Khalil’s green card with no criminal offense “in retaliation for his public speech, that is prohibited by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution,” expressing it was a rare situation.

Freekey Zekey Claims an Argument Over Studio Time Started Split Between The Diplomats & Roc-A-Fella

Freekey Zekey is back to his hilarious storytelling ways.

This time he’s talking to The Art of Dialogue about one of the many situations that lead to The Diplomats wearing out their welcome over at Roc-A-Fella Records back in the early 2000s. Zekey alleges that he, Jim Jones, and an associate got into an argument with label executive Lenny S. over studio time.

“What really separated us was when the tensions was high — it was me, Jim and Snagz,” he began. “We called Lenny S. saying we needed studio time and Lenny was like, ‘Bet, come on.’ So, we went up there — I think it was a Sunday — we up to the studio, we called Lenny S. like, ‘What’s going on? You said you was gonna give us studio time.’ Lenny S. was like, ‘Kiss my ass, n—a, it’s Sunday. What you talkin’ about?’” Taken aback by the news, Zeke then starts to laugh like a maniacal cartoon villain and replies back, “Really?”

He then explains how the next day they planned on confronting Lenny at the label office and rushed down an elevator when they figured out where he was before Dame Dash tried to get Jim and Lenny to shoot a fair to settle things and move on. “Next day, we up in Roc-A-Fella like, ‘Where the f—k this n—a at?’ We couldn’t find him,” he said. “So, I got on the elevator and then I got pushed in the elevator by my man Snagz and Jim, and they pressing the button like, ‘Hurry up, let’s go downstairs!’ I don’t know what happened, but I’m pretty sure somebody got slapped or something physical happened to Lenny S.”

Adding, “We get downstairs and Jim shoots out the gate, Jim’s runnin’, Snagz gets outta there, I’m a little fatter so I’m running slow. Dame pulls up: ‘What the f—k’s going on, man?!’ I think he brought Lenny S. down, he got Jim and Snagz there, and he was like, ‘We gonna fight ’cause none of this stupid sh—t is gonna go on. If there’s a problem, let’s fight it out.’ And before that happened, a Jeep or a truck pull up and I don’t if it was [Memphis] Bleek’s brother, but it was his family.”

He continued by speculating that the drama surrounding that day was the beginning of the end. “That’s when we found something hard enough to start to break the diamond,” Zekey recalled. “Because it was like, ‘Hold on, this is Bleek’s people with Lenny S. and y’all n—as gonna ride?’ That’s where the divide came from. It was supposed to be just a Lenny S. and Jim Jones fight, but I guess Lenny S. called somebody from Bleek’s family. So, now it was like, ‘Word?’ And that’s what caused the tension right there. Nobody got it on that day; everybody ended up separating, but the people that we saw let us know like, ‘Oh, now it’s up,’ and there’s where I think the full turmoil came.”

Cam’ron and The Diplomats ultimately released four official projects under the Roc-A-Fella banner before going their separate ways around 2004.

Which Song on Lady Gaga’s ‘Mayhem’ Is Your Favorite? Vote!

Lady Gaga‘s Mayhem has officially been out for an entire weekend, meaning Little Monsters have had ample time to choose their favorite tracks.

Even so, picking a favorite is no easy task for an LP as versatile and interesting as the pop star’s seventh studio LP, which dropped at long last Friday (March 7). Led by singles “Abracadabra,” “Disease” and “Die With a Smile” featuring Bruno Mars — a duet that spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and took home the 2025 Grammy for best pop duo performance — the project boasts a total of 14 tracks that largely lean dance-pop but flirt with rock, grunge, EDM and countless other styles.

As Gaga put it in a December interview with The Los Angeles Times, Mayhem “leaps around genre in a way that’s almost corrupt.” “The record is full of my love of music,” she added at the time. “So many different genres, so many different styles, so many different dreams.”

It’s a career victory lap that fans have been waiting for since 2020, when the 14-time Grammy winner dropped her last album, the Billboard 200-topping Chromatica. And now that it’s finally here, Billboard wants to know which songs you’re loving the most, whether it’s one of the shimmering, high-energy dance-floor bangers — like “Abracadabra” or “Garden of Eden” — or one of the project’s softer, more vulnerable moments, such as “Blade of Grass” and “How Bad Do U Want Me.”

Cardi B Reacts To The New Trailer For Season 5 Of Netflix’s ‘YOU’

We’re only a few weeks away from the premier of the 5th and final season of Netflix’s hit series YOU and while fans of the series have been patiently waiting to see how the series wraps up the story of Joe Goldberg and his disturbingly obsessive ways, Netflix has enlisted the talents of Cardi B to let y’all know just how bananas things are going to get, and boy did she deliver.

In a new promo clip for Season 5 of YOU, Netflix gave Cardi B a first look at the trailer for the upcoming season, and she gave the kind of reaction you can expect from a Bronx representative. Seemingly hype and excited after witnessing what Netflix has in store for fans of the show this coming April, Cardi animatedly tells everyone “When I tell you … girl, I am shook. I cannot wait, and it’s like they got a little, cute surprise. I cannot wait for you guys to see the trailer. Y’all gonna gag. Got me gagging!”

A known fan of the series herself, Cardi B has been linked to the show in the past and according to Deadline, people even tried to get her cast in the show but a las, it never happened.

Per Deadline:

Fans of the Penn Badgley vehicle and/or Cardi B — plus the extremely online — will recognize the marketing move as a nod to the two entertainment industry figures’ Twitter-first relationship. The two first began a meme-filled correspondence when the Gossip Girl alum name-dropped the musician in an interview, citing her as a person who has an “authentic relationship” with fans on social media and contrasting that with his self-described inaptitude with online platforms. Since then, the two have switched profile icons and talked glowingly about each other during press appearances. Netflix’s X account even once changed its bio to read: “Petition to get Cardi B to guest star in Season 4 of You!” (That obviously did not happen, but her track “I Like It” did play in the first episode of that season.)

We’re low-key surprised Netflix didn’t jump at the chance to include a Cardi cameo, as that would’ve only helped the series’ popularity even more, but hey, it is what it is.

Check out Cardi B’s reaction to the upcoming trailer to YOU below and let us know if you’re excited for the season premier, which will hit Netflix on April 24 in the comments section below.

Congressman Al Green Censured By House Republicans (And 10 Dems)

Republicans in the House of Representatives voted on Thursday (March 6), to censure Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, for protesting during President Donald Trump’s address to Congress.

The congressman, who has long opposed Trump, responded to the president’s claim that his election was a “a mandate, like has not been seen in many decades.” Per Blavity, Green stood up, pointed his cane at the president and said, “You have no mandate.”

As previously reported by HipHopWired, the 77-year-old Congressman was chastised by House Speaker Mike Johnson who had him escorted out of the chamber by the Sergeant-at-Arms.

Nearly all Republicans voted to censure Green, one of the strongest forms of disapproval in Congress. Two Republicans voted present and, surprisingly, 10 Democrats sided with Republicans to censure the Texas democrat.

Per Blavity, the defectors were Ami Bera of California, Ed Case of Hawaii, Jim Costa of California, Laura Gillen of New York, Jim Himes of Connecticut, Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania, Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, Jared Moskowitz of Florida, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington and Tom Suozzi of New York.

Green remains unapologetic. He told the media, “It’s worth it to let people know that there are some of us that are going to stand up against this president’s desire to cut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security,” he said, per the Washington Post.

Numerous pundits and social media users have noted that House Democrats missed an opportunity when they didn’t all walk out of the address after Green was escorted out.

Ice Spice & Chappell Roan Both Suffer Cheeky Wardrobe Malfunctions at Paris Fashion Week

Ice Spice and Chappell Roan linked up at the Vivienne Westwood show during Paris Fashion Week, but that wasn’t the only similar experience they endured in France.

Roan slipped her bare behind into her PFW recap post to Instagram on Sunday (March 9), which included the ripped red Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress exposing her backside.

Ice Spice joined the wardrobe-malfunction clique when she revealed that her dress also “ripped in the same spot” while reposting the “Pink Pony Club” singer’s split garment.

Trending on Billboard

The Bronx rapper showed some proof in the subsequent Instagram Stories with her cheeks peeking out of the black leather dress hugging her curves.

She also provided fans with another view of the dress from the front. “It was cute too,” Ice Spice wrote in disappointment.

Ice’s Munchkins and other fans had plenty to say about her cheeky moment. “Guys relax.. its just subcutaneous tissue.. and everybody has it lol,” one person commented on IG. While another suggested she’s “eating her oats again.”

The 24-year-old was booked and busy throughout her Paris Fashion Week as she sported a wet hairstyle look at the Off-White show and had a seat next to her “Boys a Liar Pt. 2” collaborator PinkPantheress at the Vivienne Westwood show.

On the music side, Ice Spice has been quiet to kick off 2025, while Chappell Roan looks to build on her best new artist win at the Grammy Awards with the release of her highly anticipated country single “The Giver” on Friday (March 13).
