For the Stylers who are willing to pay a little more to see the “As It Was” singer live, we’ve rounded up some of the places that you can buy tickets online without spending an arm and a leg. Styles will head back to Europe in 2023 for another leg of the tour, Live Nation announced Aug. 26. Back in May, Styles added a handful of additional shows in New York City and Los Angeles and, of course, tickets sold out quickly. Styles also added a handful of additional dates to his Los Angeles concerts, bringing the tally to 15 shows. His string of shows at the Kia Forum will be held from Oct. 23 until Nov. 15.

Currently, tickets for Styles’ Love On Tour are available at Seat Geek starting at around $91 and approximately $80 on StubHub (prices may fluctuate depending on availability and the date of the show). You can also find passes on Vivid Seats for around $87 and up, depending on location and date. Select dates are still available at Ticketmaster, but expect to pay around $300 and up.

The first European leg of the Love On Tour, promoting Styles’ third studio album, Harry’s House, kicked off June 11 at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, Scotland. Styles hit Toronto in mid-August before making his way to Madison Square Garden for a mini-residency that will run until Sept. 21

Harry’s House was released March 20 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with an impressive 521,000 units sold in its first week. In wake of the horrific school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, in May, Styles and his tour sponsor, Live Nation, announced that they will donate $1 million to the Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, an educational, research and litigation arm of the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country.

“Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at Robb Elementary School in Texas,” said Styles at the time. “On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items.”

Kim Kardashian Condemns Antisemitic Hate Speech After Kanye West’s Comments

Kim Kardashian spoke out on Monday (Oct. 24) against the recent barrage of antisemitic speech.

“Hate speech is never OK or excusable,” the SKIMS mogul tweeted. “I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.”

Though Kardashian didn’t mention ex-husband Kanye West by name, the rapper has made a number of dangerous comments about Jewish people in recent weeks. His Instagram and Twitter accounts were temporarily restricted after he threatened to go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE” in a post, and he later doubled down on his antisemitic claims during a sit-down interview with Fox News personality Tucker Carlson.

In a combative follow-up interview with Chris Cuomo, Ye insisted his string of comments didn’t qualify as “hate speech,” even while brands and companies such as Balenciaga and JPMorgan Chase cut ties with him over the controversy. Then last week, the rapper refused to apologize for his antisemitism on Piers Morgan, saying, “I fought fire with fire. I’m not here to get hosed down. It’s a different type of freedom fighter.”

Kardashian’s sister Khloé Kardashian was the first family member to publicly speak out in reference to the controversy, reposting a meme on Instagram that read, “I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people” in simple blue lettering over a black background.

Kanye West Dropped by CAA As Hollywood Boycott Calls Grow

Amid calls to cut ties with Kanye West over his repeated antisemitic comments, CAA stopped representing the artist within the last month, a source tells The Hollywood Reporter

The Century City-based talent agency had worked with the artist, but his repeated interviews espousing antisemitic rhetoric have proved indefensible to business partners. With CAA ending its run with West, Hollywood’s major talent agencies — including WME and UTA — have supported calls to end working relationship with the rapper and fashion mogul.

On Oct. 23, Jeremy Zimmer, who leads rival agency UTA, sent a companywide email titled “Rise of Anti Semitism and Hate,” writing that West’s comments “embolden others to amplify their vile beliefs.” The UTA CEO added: “we can’t support hate speech, bigotry or anti-Semitism. Please support the boycott of Kanye West.”

Days earlier, Endeavor and WME mogul Ari Emanuel penned a column in the Financial Times saying that “silence” isn’t an option for the business community given West’s antisemitism. “Those who continue to do business with West are giving his misguided hate an audience,” Emanuel wrote

While West has a lucrative deal with Adidas for his Yeezy shoe and fashion line, other major partners — including French label Balenciaga, as well as production studio MRC, which was working on a documentary with the artist — have publicly distanced themselves and cut ties. “We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform,” wrote MRC’s leaders, while Balenciaga noted that it doesn’t have “any relationship” with West moving forward.

While the rapper still has official accounts on Twitter and Instagram, posts containing antisemitic comments — including a tweet on Oct. 8 that called for “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE” — have been removed from the social media giants’ platforms. In seeming response, West inked a deal to take ownership of the small “free speech” social media app Parler on Oct. 17. That app is run by the CEO George Farmer, the husband of conservative activist Candace Owens, who donned a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt along with West at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.

The artist — whose net worth is estimated at $2 billion, per Forbes‘ calculations — had his last full length album, 2021’s Donda, distributed by Def Jam Recordings, a division of the publicly traded Universal Music Group. In a tweet on Oct. 17, UMG stated, “There is no place for antisemitism in our society,” but made no reference to West.

West’s media tour this month has included stops with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, rapper N.O.R.E. on the podcast Drink Champs, and Chris Cuomo at NewsNation. “I classify as Jew also, so I actually can’t be an antisemite,” West told Cuomo.

Apple Music to Raise Subscription Prices Starting Today

Apple is increasing the prices of its Apple Music subscription plans in the U.S. starting Monday (Oct. 24), the company confirmed to Billboard.

In a statement, Apple noted that the Apple Music price hike is due to an increase in licensing costs, “and in turn, artists and songwriters will earn more for the streaming of their music. We also continue to add innovative features that make Apple Music the world’s best listening experience.”

The subscription prices of Apple TV+ and Apple One plans are also being raised, the company confirmed.

Prices are increasing $1 per month for Apple Music individual plans (from $9.99 to $10.99), $2 per month for family plans (from $14.99 to $16.99) and $10 per year for annual plans (from $99 to $109). Its bundled Apple One subscriptions are increasing $2 per month for individual plans (from $14.95 to $16.95) and $3 per month for family and premier plans — from $19.95 to $22.95 and $29.95 to $32.95, respectively. Notably, Apple Music subscriptions will continue to include lossless and Spatial Audio at no additional charge.

This marks the first time Apple has raised subscription prices for these services in the U.S. The website 9to5Mac, which first reported on the increases, also reported that Apple would increase its raise prices in international markets, though the company had not confirmed that by press time.

Though Apple does not regularly report subscriber numbers, in June, J.P. Morgan estimated Apple Music could hit 110 million subscribers by 2025. The lat time the company reported subscriber numbers for Apple Music was in 2019, when it reported 60 million subscribers to the service.

The Apple Music price hike comes amid reports that Spotify could be charging $19.99 a month for its forthcoming premium HiFi subscription tier, though the company has not yet confirmed that. Earlier this month, YouTube raised the price of its YouTube Premium Family plan, which includes its music subscription service, from $17.99 to $22.99 per month.

Sam Smith & Kim Petras‘ ’Unholy’ Rules Billboard Global Charts for Fourth Week

Sam Smith and Kim Petras‘ “Unholy” notches a fourth week at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.

Plus, Rema and Selena Gomez‘s “Calm Down” hits the Global 200’s top 10, jumping from No. 11 to No. 7, and Kenshi Yonezu‘s “Kick Back” bounds 26-4 and Tom Odell‘s “Another Love” rises 11-10 on Global Excl. U.S., the latter completing a record 81-week run on the chart to the top 10.

The two charts, which began in September 2020, rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Billboard Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the U.S.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

‘Unholy’ No. 1 on Global 200, ‘Calm Down’ Hits Top 10

Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy” achieves a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, with 85 million streams (up 4%) and 26,000 downloads sold worldwide (up 44%) in the Oct. 14-20 tracking week, its gains sparked by 69-cent sale-pricing, as well as the release of live and instrumental versions and Disclosure and Acraze remixes. Plus, it was announced Oct. 17 that the song will appear on Smith’s forthcoming fourth LP, Gloria, due Jan. 27.

Notably, songs by acts all from outside the U.S. have topped the Global 200 for 35 consecutive weeks, spanning seven titles (and five countries), both record streaks since the chart began. Here’s a recap:

“Heat Waves,” Glass Animals (UK), six weeks at No. 1, beginning March 5
“As It Was,” Harry Styles (UK), 15, April 16
“Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God),” Kate Bush (UK), three, June 18
“Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52,” Bizarrap (Argentina) & Quevedo (Spain), four, July 30
“Pink Venom,” BLACKPINK (South Korea), two, Sept. 3
“Shut Down,” BLACKPINK (South Korea), one, Oct. 1
“Unholy,” Sam Smith (UK) & Kim Petras (Germany), four to-date, Oct. 8

David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue)” holds at its No. 2 Global 200 high; Chris Brown’s “Under the Influence” rises 4-3 for a new best; Harry Styles’ “As It Was” slips 3-4, following its record 15-week reign; and OneRepublic’s “I Ain’t Worried” repeats at its No. 5 highpoint.

Elsewhere in the Global 200’s top 10, Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down” reaches the region (11-7), led by 45.4 million streams (up 2%) worldwide. Nigeria native Rema dropped the original, solo version of the song in February as the second single from his debut LP, Rave & Roses. Its remix with Gomez arrived Aug. 26, and that version’s official video premiered Sept. 7.

Rema reaches the Global 200’s top 10 in his first appearance on the chart, while Gomez lands her second top 10 since the survey began, after “Ice Cream,” with BLACKPINK, ranked at its No. 8 high on the inaugural list in September 2020.

“Calm Down” concurrently keeps at its No. 8 high on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

‘Unholy’ Tops Global Excl. U.S., ‘Kick Back,’ ‘Another Love’ Reach Top 10

Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy” adds a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 61.7 million streams (up 4%) and 7,000 downloads sold (up 14%) worldwide in territories outside the U.S. in the Oct. 14-20 tracking week.

Similar to the Global 200, songs by acts from outside the U.S. have dominated the Global Excl. U.S. chart for 33 weeks in a row, covering nine titles (and six countries), likewise record streaks:

“Heat Waves,” Glass Animals (U.K.), three weeks at No. 1, beginning March 19
“Envolver,” Anitta (Brazil), one, April 9
“As It Was,” Harry Styles (U.K.), 13, April 16
“Yet To Come,” BTS (South Korea), one, June 25
“Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God),” Kate Bush (U.K.), one, July 16
“Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52,” Bizarrap (Argentina) & Quevedo (Spain), six, July 30
“Pink Venom,” BLACKPINK (South Korea), three, Sept. 3
“Shut Down,” BLACKPINK (South Korea), one, Oct. 1
“Unholy,” Sam Smith (UK) & Kim Petras (Germany), four to-date, Oct. 8

David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue)” keeps at its No. 2 Global Excl. U.S. best and Manuel Turizo’s “La Bachata” is steady at its No. 3 high.

Kenshi Yonezu’s “Kick Back” surges 26-4 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 23.3 million streams and 32,000 sold in its first full week of tracking. The Japanese artist lands his first top 10 on the chart (after reaching a prior No. 16 best with “M87” in May) with the opener for the new anime series Chainsaw Man. As previously reported, the track launched atop the latest Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart.

Harry Styles’ “As It Was” falls 4-5 on Global Excl. U.S. following its record 13-week rule.

Rounding out the Global Excl. U.S. top 10, Tom Odell’s “Another Love” rises 11-10. The song by the English singer-songwriter enters the top 10 in its 81st week on the chart, as it wraps the longest climb to the tier, far surpassing the 35-week wait for Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves” in 2021. Going back even further, “Another Love” was originally released 10 years ago this month, on Odell’s debut EP Songs From Another Love, with its profile having swelled to new heights thanks to its presence on TikTok. The song initially hit No. 10 on the Official UK Singles chart in 2013 and ranks at No. 13 in its latest week on the list.

“Another Love,” Odell’s first Global Excl. U.S. entry, gained by 1% to 30 million streams and 5% to 2,000 sold outside the U.S. Oct. 14-20.

The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated Oct. 29, 2022) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Oct. 25). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard‘s subscription-based service. Harry Styles Proves He’s the Male Pop Star We Need on First Night of Los Angeles Run

A Harry Styles concert is what Beatlemania must have felt like.

For the 17,000 people at the singer’s opening Love on Tour concert in Los Angeles on Sunday night (Oct. 23) — many of whom were certainly not alive in the 1960s — the eardrum-rupturing screams and cries as the 28-year-old superstar walked on stage brought up a sweet nostalgia for the rock n’ roll days of the past.

Dressed in an orange and white suit, embellished with sparkling palm trees, Styles introduced his 15-night run at the Kia Forum with the Harry’s House fan favorite, “Daydreaming.”

The Grammy winner then delivered an hour-and-a-half set list (below) of career-spanning hits, from his debut album’s “Kiwi” and Fine Line‘s “Adore You” to his third studio LP’s hits like “Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” “Cinema,” “Late Night Talking” and many more. While the set lists have evolved over Styles’ tours, one thing remains the same — the glitter-dressed fans singing every word so loud that you can barely hear Harry, waving their feather boas in the air and dancing freely with their fellow concert attendees.

Notably, Styles didn’t perform the Harry’s House track, “Boyfriends,” but thankfully, opening act Ben Harper took on the poignant ballad, as he played guitar on the original recording. “I’ve recorded in a lot of different environments with a lot of different people, and this stands out as one of the most exciting and gratifying sessions I’ve ever done,” Harper told Billboard of recording the track. “[Songwriter] Kid Harpoon and Harry, they were very patient. We went in and kept throwing ideas and, finally, I just tried one idea that really stuck.”

“I try not to put expectations on a crowd, lay them all on my shoulders. I walk up there and just give everything. Be well enough rehearsed to have a lot of fun,” Harper added of his set, which also featured both his children joining him onstage to perform. “It’s got to be fun or I should be doing something else.”

Styles wrapped up his high-energy set with a jam-packed encore, and with two songs left of the show, the singer noticed a couple heading out of the arena to try and beat the Los Angeles traffic. “We’re not finished! Go back!” Styles jokingly shouted at them, and the duo (now on the jumbotron) followed the star’s orders and went back to their chairs. “We’ve got two songs left, back to your seats! We can see you sneaking out. I’m not done!”

And while the playful interaction, of course, was just a display of Styles’ goofy sense of humor, his declaration of “I’m not done” struck a chord as he delved straight into his 15-week Billboard Hot 100 chart topper, “As It Was.” For Styles, singing to sold-out crowds in the country’s biggest and most iconic arenas, it’s clear that nothing is, in his own words, “the same as it was.” His career is also the furthest thing from “done.” In fact, it’s just the beginning for Harry Styles.

Lil Baby Becomes Just Third Artist to Chart 25 Songs on Hot 100 in a Single Week

Lil Baby charts a whopping 25 songs on the latest, Oct. 29-dated Billboard Hot 100, including all 23 tracks from his new album It’s Only Me.

In the 64-year history of the Hot 100, Lil Baby is just the third act to have his fingerprint on at least a quarter of the chart, after Drake, who placed a one-week record 27 songs on the July 14, 2018, survey, concurrent with the release of his LP Scorpion, and Taylor Swift, who sent 26 songs onto the Nov. 27, 2021-dated chart, as Red (Taylor’s Version) simultaneously made its chart arrival, with both sets having opened atop the Billboard 200 albums tally.

It’s Only Me likewise launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with 216,000 equivalent album units earned in the Oct. 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate. It’s the seventh-largest weekly units sum this year, and the third-largest for a hip-hop album, after the first weeks of Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers (295,000; May 28) and Future’s I Never Liked You (222,000; May 14).

Lil Baby lands his third Billboard 200 No. 1, after 2021’s The Voice of the Heroes, with Lil Durk, and 2020’s My Turn.

Here’s a recap of Lil Baby’s entries on the newest Hot 100. All are debuts except where noted:
