Billie Eilish Enjoys Easter Festivities With Boyfriend Jesse Rutherford

Billie Eilish celebrated Easter with her family on Sunday (April 9), enjoying chocolate-filled baskets, flowers and all the joys of spring.

In a series of photos shared to Instagram on Tuesday (April 11), Eilish showed off her outfit for the festivities: a floral-printed, off-the-shoulder maxi dress that she paired with white fishnet stockings and classic white sneakers.

One of the snaps indicated that her boyfriend, The Neighbourhood frontman Jesse Rutherford, was at the event, as his tattooed hand is seen placed on the “Bad Guy” singer’s thigh.

The “Happier Than Ever” singer opened up about her relationship with Rutherford in her annual Vanity Fair video interview in November “It’s really cool, and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it,” she said of her romance with the 31-year-old rock star. “I managed to get my life to a point where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f–king f–ker alive, but pulled his ass! Are you kidding me? Can we just [get a] round of applause for me … thank you, Jesse Rutherford, everyone! I pulled his a–. All me. I did that s–t.”

The duo then begin singing “Eyes Closed” together, with Sheeran smiling from ear to ear the entire time.

“Eyes Closed” serves as the lead single to Sheeran’s upcoming album – (pronounced Subtract), the last installment in Sheeran’s decade-long mathematical album era, which will be arriving on May 5 via Atlantic Records.

“This song is about losing someone, feeling like every time you go out and you expect to just bump into them, and every thing just reminds you of them and things you did together,” the singer wrote of the song on Instagram. “You sorta have to take yourself out of reality sometimes to numb the pain of loss, but certain things just bring you right back into it.”

The four-time Grammy winner went on to mention his friend Jamal Edwards, a music entrepreneur who died in February 2022 of cardiac arrest at age 31. “Blue was Jamal’s colour, but now is all I feel. And I guess music helps heal, so I’m dancing with my eyes closed to try get through it,” Sheeran concluded his message.

It’s been four months since Metro Boomin dropped his sophomore album, HEROES & VILLAINS, but the super producer from The A isn’t done pushing his project and connects with the Toxic King and Don Toliver to bring to life one of the albums’ standout tracks.

Dropping off some new visuals to “Too Many Nights,” Metro Boomin invites Don Toliver and Future to get turnt up with him and a gang of young women on the dance floor before taking to the strip club to make it rain on the thick as molasses talent. Future refrained from making it rain though. The man has eight children, he can’t be throwing money away these days.

Rae Sremmurd meanwhile do some dancing of their own and for their clip to “Tanisha (Pump That)” bust some moves while the women in the video pump some iron, pump some gas, and pump some air into a mattress. Would’ve been the perfect time to bust out some Reebok Pump’s but it is what it is.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Lil Yachty, Joyner Lucas featuring Future, and more.

Daniel Caesar Album Listening Session

Daniel Caesar was riding the wave of fame in 2019 but it all came crashing down when he rushed to the defense of influencer YesJulz and demanded that Black people stop insulting her. In a new interview, the R&B singer walked back his defense YesJulz and apologized to the Black community.

Daniel Caesar sat down with Apple Music and was questioned about his defense of YesJulz, who caught the wrath of Black Twitter and beyond for wearing a shirt featuring the N-word. Caesar stepped in the line of fire for reasons unexplained at the time and was largely written off by many.

After some reflection, Caesar says he understands the backlash now.

“I completely understand the response. And in time, after taking time to get over myself and to really honestly look at myself and everything that was happening, I was wrong. I was wrong, and I’m sorry about that. For a long time, I was like, ‘You can’t do anything, you can’t say anything without whatever. You can do and say whatever you want, but it’s like for every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. And that’s physics. That’s science.”

The apology comes at a convenient time considering the Canadian singer just released his first project in almost four years, Never Enough, which dropped on April 7.

On Twitter, the reaction to the apology has been bubbling after the interview aired and we’ve got that portion of the clip plus the entire Apple Music chat below for your viewing pleasure.

Keep scrolling to see the Twitter reactions to Daniel Caesar and his apology.

The competition has invited talented singers, songwriters and musicians around the world including TIA RAY, Lenka and Greyson Chance to act as THE ONE ambassadors for the competition, together auditioning new original celebrities. THE ONE aims to continue to help talented Chinese musicians and high-quality original songs to go abroad and convey the voice of China to the world.

Based on this cooperation, TME will integrate its leading technology, profound industrial and user insights, comprehensive service systems in the Chinese music industry with global resources, influence and international high standards to provide talented musicians with a full range of services from the first demo recordings to the release of songs, as well as global promotion and customized performances, which will support Chinese stars on the world stage in all aspects.

THE ONE competition will be segmented into three major competition units — “Musical Work,” “Fresh Face” and “Label,” for songwriters, emerging musicians and quality labels, respectively — to provide a fair stage for competition and communication among different types of players with different audition mechanisms. Among them, the “Musical Work” unit will gather works from all over the world through TME’s Qimingxing Music Assistant, while at the same time invite famous Chinese original musicians such as Bird Zhang, L.T. and Ma SiWei, Mikey Jiao and Chen Zhuoxuan to participate. The “Fresh Face” unit will be strategically combined with Tencent Musician Platform’s New Forces project to identify excellent artists in the new generation, while the “Label” unit will collect original music works from high-quality labels globally, introducing independent labels valuing the quality of music creation and the diversity of music styles into the world’s spotlight, and bringing more “Chinese treasures” to global music fans.

The competition will eventually select and produce a conceptual music collection of THE ONE. The collection will be distributed globally through TME Music Cloud, including but not limited to overseas channels such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and others. The collection will also receive massive promotional traffic support and core resources from TME’s various platforms including QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music and Tencent Musician Platform, as well as being featured on the Billboard China master song list Golden Ears. In addition, honorees will also have the opportunity to participate in a special collaborative performance with Billboard Live in Shanghai, representing China’s high-quality original force on the global stage to bring exciting performances to music fans around the world.

With this partnership, TME will continue to strengthen its in-depth collaboration with more music industry partners, bringing more quality original works and exciting performances to music lovers around the world. TME will continue the exploration of value patterns for the construction of Chinese music’s global influence, supporting and accompanying the birth and bloom of high-quality original Chinese music.

A Timeline of Taylor Swift & Joe Alwyn’s Relationship

Swifties worldwide felt a collective sense of heartbreak on Saturday (April 8), when reports emerged that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have split after six years of dating.

“The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows,” a source reportedly told ETBillboard has since reached out to representatives for Swift and Alwyn, but had not received a response. The couple has yet to publicly reveal the status of their relationship.

Swift began dating the actor, who has appeared in a number of films including 2018’s The Favourite and 2022’s Conversations With Friends, in 2016. They’ve stayed private about their relationship throughout the past six years, though they’ve mentioned each other in interviews.

Alwyn also worked with Swift on her albums under the pen name William Bowery, winning his first Grammy in 2021 as a co-producer of Swift’s album of the year winner, Folklore (along with Swift, Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner).

On Evermore, Alwyn co-wrote “Champagne Problems,” The National-assisted “Coney Island” and “Evermore.” And on Swift’s most recent release, Midnights, he contributed to “Sweet Nothing.”

We’ve compiled a timeline of Swift and Alwyn’s relationship, which you can check out below. We also have a timeline of everything the former couple has said about each other, which you can find here.

Joe Alwyn’s First Project Announced Following Taylor Swift Breakup

Following his reported breakup with Taylor Swift, Joe Alwyn has lined up his next acting gig.

On Tuesday (April 11), news broke that the British actor will be joining the cast of the upcoming film The Brutalist, starring Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce. According to a synopsis, the flick will follow “thirty years of an artist’s life and his enduring creative journey. When visionary architect László Toth (Brody) and his wife Erzsébet (Jones) flee post-war Europe to rebuild their legacy in America, a mysterious and wealthy client (Pearce) ends up changing their lives forever.”

Without mentioning anything about the character Alwyn will play, a press release also promises that the Brady Corbet-directed period piece will deliver “both monumental heights and devastating lows” for audiences once it’s released in theaters. It will also serve as Alwyn’s first role since starring in Lena Dunham’s Catherine Called Birdy on Amazon Prime Video and the Hulu adaptation of Sally Rooney’s hit novel Conversations With Friends.

Meanwhile, Swift is set to continue her groundbreaking The Eras Tour this coming weekend with a trio of shows at Tampa, Fla.’s Raymond James Stadium. Earlier this week, she made her first public appearance post-split by stepping out in New York City for dinner with Jack Antonoff and his fiancée Margaret Qualley. (Ironically, the meal was reportedly at West Village hotspot Via Carota, just blocks away from her former Cornelia Street apartment — an Easter egg of a detail that naturally sent Swifties spiraling online.)

Selena Gomez Shares Hilarious Throwback Photo of Her Serious Bedhead

Selena Gomez is giving fans another look at her unfiltered self — this time, in a throwback photo with one of her closest friends. The Only Murders in the Building actress shared a photo with her “bestie” Connar Franklin when they were experiencing severe bedhead as tweens.

“What do we do during our sleep that this is the result?” Gomez captioned a photo of her and Franklin, much younger and giving a deadpan look into the camera while wearing matching wolf T-shirts. “I thought I never moved.. love you bestie,” the singer added.

While fans praised the singer for sharing a stripped-back and funny, unfiltered photo, Franklin chimed in the comments section to write, “love you [crying emojis] serving some looks lol — the shirts are getting me.” Hulu’s official Instagram account also chimed in, writing, “if you don’t own at least one wolf shirt, we can’t be friends.”

The laidback photo is far from the first that fans have seen of Gomez in recent months. In February, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer was praised for sharing a set of makeup-free photos, also to her Instagram. “Finally a celebrity who shows herself without filters or masks of make up and she is truly beautiful, in a way than could help people ([especially] girls) on understanding that we don’t need so many tricks to appear at our best,” a Selenator wrote at the time. “The most important thing is just being yourself and be proud on presenting you as you are.”
