Jeezy Denies Jeannie Mai’s Claims Of Infidelity: “100% False”

As Jeannie Mai publicly speaks out about her divorce filing from Jeezy saying she was “gutted” and had no idea, Jezzy contends that’s not the case.

According to reports, people close to Jeezy state that Jeannie Mai’s recent claim that the divorce filing between the couple was out of the blue isn’t true given what was taking place in the months before the news broke out. Mai recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday (December 4) and spoke at the outset about the situation. “I found out at the same time as the rest of the world that my marriage was ending,” the 44-year-old Mai said. “So today, it’s about picking up the pieces. It’s about discovering me and being a mom to the best blessing in my life, my little girl.”

The sources say that Jeezy and Jeannie Mai had undergone multiple visits to marriage counseling in their two years together. They go on to say that it seems disingenuous on Mai’s part to suggest otherwise, stating that they both had been seeing multiple therapists before Jeezy made the filing, citing that the relationship was “irretrievably broken.”  In a statement a month after the September filing, Jeezy stated: “The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart,” also saying, “Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”

The media personality has recently alleged that Jeezy was unfaithful during their marriage in a filing in Fulton County, Georgia last Thursday (November 30), asking the court to enforce the prenuptial agreement set in place before their marriage. A rep for the “Put It On” rapper issued a statement saying, “Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins behalf are 100% false and he has no further statements at this time.”

The filing came on the same day that Jeezy filed a petition to the same court to set clear visitation and custody rights for the couple’s daughter, Monaco, alleging that Mai has been “acting as a gatekeeper when it comes to [him] exercising parenting time with [Monaco].”

Highsnobiety is reporting that Christmas is coming early for the heads this year as Supreme’s latest collection will hit the streets December 7 and will feature hoodies, t-shirts and beanies that will showcase that classic box logo that drives heads crazy out on these streets. The simple yet effective logo that’s reigned supreme (no pun intended) for years are always some of the most sought after pieces from Supreme’s annual collections. This year will prove to be no different.

Per Highsnobiety:

At the moment, there’s no official word on the release date or the tees’ colorways. But streetwear enthusiasts have some ideas: anyone up for a camo Box Logo tee?

In the meantime, Supreme will drop off some Box Logo hoodies, including the anticipated camouflage scheme from the collection preview.

As far as other colorways go, fans can expect more tonal options, like black, white, purple, and red. Yes, like a red BOGO on a red hoodie.

Joining the Box Logo hoodies will be New Era Box logo beanies, offered in the same schemes and dropping the same day as the hoodies.

OG New Yorkers will definitely be going for that Camo box logo hoodie. That’s a must. Just sayin’.

You can expect these to be a tough cop come Thursday morning as hypebeasts will be ready come 11 a.m. May the odds ever be in your favor for this year’s Supreme hunger games.

Will you be trying to cop a BOGO Supreme hoodie? Let us know in the comments section below.

Opening Statements Made In Jonathan Majors Assault Trial

The criminal trial against Jonathan Majors for alleged assault began with intense opening statements from both legal teams.

On Monday (December 4), opening statements in the trial against actor Jonathan Majors were delivered at New York Criminal Court. Majors has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari after being arrested on March 25 after a domestic dispute with Jabbari. Majors was present in the courtroom with family members including his mother and his current partner, actress Meagan Good.

Prosecutor Michael Perez began by detailing the relationship between the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star and Jabbari, disclosing that they had met on the film set in 2021 and were together in “a serious relationship,” even discussing marriage. Perez then detailed the dispute that took place on March 25, which occurred after the couple attended a party in Brooklyn where a text from another woman sparked an argument where Majors allegedly injured Jabbari once they reached their Manhattan apartment.

The prosecution would go on to paint Jonathan Majors as an abuser with Perez stating: “He began to snap at, manipulate and strategically withhold affection from [Jabbari].” “This affected their entire relationship and how she reacted on March 25,” he said. In a recording of a fight that prosecutors plan to play for the jury, it’s alleged that Majors told Jabbari, who is white, that she should be more like Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama and “to conform to the plan and make sacrifices for him” saying it’s because “I am a great man, a great man.”

Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, contended in her opening statement that the previous relationship had “nothing to do with what happened in the car.” Chaudhry told jurors it was Jabbari who attacked Majors physically first, telling police who arrived at the Manhattan residence the two shared that he assaulted her. In previous interrogations, Majors told the NYPD that he had called them since Jabbari was “suicidal” in her texts.

The defense would state that the allegations were born out of Jabbari’s revenge against Majors. Mr. Majors’ lifetime of hard work was coming to fruition and his career seemed unstoppable until […] he ended his relationship with Jabbari and she made these false allegations,” Chaudhry stated. Jabbari is expected to testify during the two weeks of the trial. Majors, who has pleaded not guilty, faces a year in jail if convicted.

Muni Long Reveals Autism Diagnosis On Social Media

Muni Long has shared another update on her medical health. The 35-year-old Florida native shared with fans last year that she had been diagnosed with lupus. The development caused her to cancel her highly-anticipated 2022 tour to support her Grammy Award-winning single, “Hrs & Hrs.”

On (Dec. 3), the singer-songwriter, born Priscilla Renea Hamilton, took to social media to share a new update on her health, writing: “So apparently I’m autistic, and my free self is the version of me that I began repressing at the age of 22 because it made people highly uncomfortable. It started first with me doing insane amounts of drugs and then when that didn’t work I just held it in. Which led to lupus,” Long penned on X.

“And now the lupus has gotten to a point where it’s effectively impossible to contain. And in order to free myself from the rollercoaster that is autoimmune disease, I have to let my emotions, thoughts and feelings out…. But…. Autism! OMG WTF THIS IS SO WACK [weeping emoji].”

She concluded: “But at least knowing I am autistic explains SO MUCH.”

The brave revelation was met with support from fans.

Long followed up the three-part post on Dec. 4 writing, “A lot of days I just wanna put my head in the pillow and scream… minus the pillow tho.”

Long told The Breakfast Club last year that she contracted a bacterial infection from a microphone in 2018, and that triggered her Lupus, adding, “So when you have any type of bacteria, especially in your lungs, the inflammation is crazy. So I deal with that. As I’m talking, you can hear me tryna catch my breath,” according to Baller Alert.

She continued, “I deal with that on a daily basis. I take a lot of medicine to like function normally and that’s not something I normally share. Because that’s my journey, I’m not looking for sympathy.”

According to BlackDoctor.org, “Lupus is a disease where the immune system attacks instead of protects. The immune system is the body’s natural defense against disease. In lupus, the immune system creates antibodies that attack the body’s own tissues and organs.”

African American women in particular seem to have a higher risk of getting lupus. As many as 1 in 250 will develop the disease. Women who suffer from lupus are twice as likely to give birth to a child with autism.

We send Muni Long best wishes on her health journey.

Ziggy Marley Approves of Kingsley Ben-Adir’s Portrayal of Bob Marley in ‘One Love’ Film

Bob Marley’s legendary life and career will be captured in the forthcoming film Bob Marley: One Love, and in a new clip shared on Monday (Dec. 4), the late reggae star’s son, Ziggy Marley, gives actor Kingsley Ben-Adir the stamp of approval for his portrayal of his father.

“In the audition, I saw Kingsley, who plays my father. He was the one who kept my attention,” Ziggy says in the video shared by Paramount Pictures. “Kingsley did a great job in an artful way, not trying to mimic my father.

He continued, “To be true to who Bob was, how he speaks, how he acts, how he sees the world, I think Kingsley is bringing that human element. Not just the legend or the artist, but the human side, the emotional side.”

According to the official synopsis for the Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed film, One Love “celebrates the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity” and tells the tale of the singer-songwriter “overcoming adversity and the journey behind his revolutionary music.”

Bob Marley: One Love — produced in partnership with the Marley family — hits theaters on Jan. 12, 2024. Watch Ziggy discuss Ben-Adir’s performance below.

Sarz, Asake & Gunna Are Spreading ‘Happiness’ in New Collab, And It’s Coming Very Soon

Renowned producer Sarz has recruited fellow Nigerian hitmaker Asake and chart-topping Atlanta rapper Gunna for their “Happiness” collaboration, Billboard is exclusively announcing Tuesday (Dec. 5).

The single will be available on Friday, Dec. 8, via UnitedMasters, which partnered with Sarz earlier this year on his 1789 imprint in an effort to empower African artists and allow them to expand their music globally. Following his “Yo Fam!” single with Crayon and Skrillex, this joyful Afrobeats-meets-hip-hop anthem is the second single to arrive ahead of Sarz’s album, which is due in 2024. The song will also be accompanied by a colorful music video directed by Edgar Esteves, which Sarz teased by posting an Instagram photo Monday of the three artists on the video’s set.

“‘Happiness’ is special to me. From the moment I created the beat, I noticed how it made anyone I played it to really happy. I’m glad Asake and Gunna made my vision come to life,” Sarz said in a statement to Billboard.

Sarz (real name Osabuohien Osaretin) has produced records for some of the biggest African artists, such as WizkidBurna Boy and Tiwa Savage, and is responsible for spreading the Afrobeats sound to the U.S. and U.K. charts with hits like Drake, Wizkid and Kyla‘s “One Dance,” which became the most streamed song on Spotify in 2016, and Lojay and Sarz’s “Monalisa,” which went viral and got a Chris Brown remix in 2022.

Pre-save “Happiness” here.
