Rapper YFN Lucci is reportedly set to be released from prison tomorrow, Friday, January 31st, after spending nearly four years behind bars. Lucci has been incarcerated since 2021, fighting serious RICO charges related to alleged gang involvement. His case has kept fans and the hip-hop community on edge, with his legal battle being one of the many high-profile cases surrounding Atlanta rap in recent years.

Lucci’s release comes at a time when there has been growing attention on redemption stories in hip-hop, particularly in the wake of Young Thug’s recent release from prison. Thug, who faced similar legal battles, has been making strides toward a more positive future since being freed earlier this year. His story of overcoming adversity has inspired many, and now fans are hoping YFN Lucci will take a similar path. Despite a long-standing feud between the two rappers, which seemed to have cooled off in recent years, the hope is that Lucci, like Thug, can focus on his music and personal growth moving forward

As Lucci steps back into the world, fans are eager to see what his next move will be. Will he use his time behind bars as fuel for his comeback? Only time will tell, but many are optimistic that this could mark the beginning of a new chapter in his career—one focused on redemption, growth, and fresh music. Fans are already anticipating his next steps, hoping he’ll rise from this challenge and return stronger than ever.

More news to come as the story develops.

PS4 PlayStation Plus subscribers received bad news: In 2026, Sony will no longer offer free monthly PS4 games.

You have a year to upgrade your life and get a PS5 or PS5 Pro console because it seems Sony is moving on from the PS4 console and shifting all of its attention to the current generation.

However, all is not lost. Sony will also offer PS4 titles occasionally through PS Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog.

“As many of our players are currently playing on PS5 and have shifted toward redeeming and accessing PS5 titles from the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit, PlayStation Plus is also evolving with this trend and will focus on offering PS5 titles through the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit starting January 2026,” a statement on the PlayStation Blog reads.

PS Plus members enjoyed the monthly benefit of PS4 and PS5 titles as part of the least expensive “Essential” tier. Those subscribed to the higher tier enjoy a rotating selection of games added to the PlayStation Plus’ Game Catalog.

Another Announcements From PlayStation

Sony did note that PS4 games that users have already added to their collection through the monthly games program will not be affected. Sony said that PC players will now get in-game bonus awards for players who log in with a PSN account on PC ports PlayStation’s first-party titles like the recently announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Yup, it looks like the PS4’s time is winding down; it was a good run for the console that blessed us with titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Last of Part II, Infamous Second Son, and more.

On a more positive note, game developers can now focus on making games primarily for the PS5 console and not worry about optimizing them for the PS4.

Some kids are living life fast, figuratively and literally. A group of teenagers decided to take a New York City train for a spin and shared their joyride on social media.

It seems Mayor Eric Adams needs to reconsider how the city’s public transportation is being guarded during off hours. As spotted on Newsweek, a group of youths took advantage of a security lapse on Saturday evening and stole an empty “R” train at the Forest Hills-71st Avenue station in Queens around 10:20 p.m. MTA officials told local police that the group drove the train “a short distance” and broke several windows in the process. It is believed they gained entrance with a set of staff keys.

The unidentified youngsters filmed the act and shared it to Instagram. “Cover your faces,” one of the voices said in the video. Another chimes in saying, “Cover your face, b***h.” The footage shows the kids driving the vehicle within the subway tunnels. Luckily, security cameras captured the crew entering the train prior to their joyride.

“They obviously knew something about both where the train was and how to operate a train, and how to get the keys,” transportation expert Robert Paaswell told CBS News. “Once you start it, it’s just a throttle, and you use the throttle to move it and to slow it down.” The suspects have yet to be apprehended. An MTA official tells CBS  “New York City Transit is working with the NYPD on their investigation of this incident.”

Watch Gelo’s ‘Tweaker’ Video Starring His Brothers Lonzo & LaMelo Ball

Nobody could’ve predicted that Gelo was going to be rap’s breakout star of 2025. Following a deal with Def Jam, Gelo adds to the momentum of his hit “Tweaker” with the release of the official music on Thursday (Jan. 30).

Gelo (born LiAngelo Ball) rides around Chicago with his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo Ball in a yellow Hummer and then he hops into different luxury cars while partying with some beautiful women in the area. Those scenes were likely shot when LaMelo’s Hornets paid Lonzo’s Bulls a visit in Chi-town on Jan. 17, as Gelo watched his bros hoop with a courtside view.

Other parts of the clip find Gelo rapping bars while conducting a mock press conference which pays homage to his sports roots.

Before the “Tweaker” video comes to a close, he teases some more heat in the stash, which seems to be his next single titled “Can You Please?”

“I got to making the melody like that’s flowing — that’s rocking,” he told previously Billboard of crafting “Tweaker.” “I couldn’t wait to go make [the song]. Then I went and made it and it turned out to what it was. Played it the whole way home. Told my homies, told my brothers like, ‘Yeah, watch out bro — this s–t hard.’”

“Tweaker” exploded onto the scene to give Gelo the first rap hit of 2025. The nostalgic 2000s-feeling track was released on WorldStarHipHop, and snippets caught fire on social media before it went to streaming services on Jan. 3.

Gelo notched a hit when “Tweaker” debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it’s still holding strong in the top 40 a few weeks later.

System Of a Down’s ‘Toxicity’ Video Hits One Billion YouTube Views

The video for System of a Down‘s 2002 heavy metal math rock anthem “Toxicity” has hit one billion views on YouTube. The second single from SOAD’s second album finds the band best known for their embrace of urgent, tricky-time signatures raging against the machine; it is their second visual to reach the billie mark, following the clip for the album’s equally neck-snapping single “Chop Suey!”

The “Toxicity” video — co-directed by Marcos Siega (311, Weezer) and bassist Shavo Odadjian — opens with crackly footage of the Hollywood Walk of Fame before cutting to an all-white soundstage, where Odadjian, singer Serj Tankian, guitarist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan rip it up.

The lighting switches up as Tankian croons the first verse, “Conversion, software version 7.0/ Looking at life through the eyes of a tire hub/ Eating seeds as a pastime activity/ The toxicity of our city, of our city,” with a swirl of lights brightening the now-black soundstage along with stock footage of unhoused people on the streets of L.A. projected on the musicians’ bodies before all hell breaks loose on the chorus.

Trending on Billboard

“You, what do you own the world?/ How do you own disorder? Disorder!” Tankian shouts over a pummeling attack as the camera swings wildly between the band members. As the track revs up its metal jazz breakdown near the end, the stage fills with an ocean of moshers stomping around and pumping their fists.

The nu-metal classic topped out at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in May 2002 and No. 7 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.

The band is gearing up for a series of North American and South American Wake Up! stadium shows, slated to kick off on April 24 in Bogota, Colombia before landing back in the U.S. on August 27 for the first of a two shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ with special guests Korn.

Taylor Swift Super Bowl Early Prop Bets Include On-Field Kiss, Number of TV Appearances & More

With the Kansas City Chiefs returning to the Super Bowl for the third straight season, all signs point to Taylor Swift once again attending the big game to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as his team squares off with the Philadelphia Eagles. And since you can bet on all minutiae related to Super Bowl LIX, which will take place next Sunday (Feb. 9) at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, you can also wager on Swift’s involvement in the game as its most famous spectator.

Eligible customers can gamble on what will happen first, either team scoring a touchdown or a live shot of Swift on TV; any mention of Swift during the halftime performance, by Lamar or another guest; the number of times Swift and Kelce kiss on the field following the game; and, of course, the possibility of a post-Super Bowl proposal, among other things. While BetOnline has released 13 Swift-related prop bets, more are expected to be posted before the Super Bowl.

Check out 10 of the early Super Bowl prop bets related to Swift below. (Here’s how the odds work: If the number is -150, that means it’s the “favorite,” and you’d need to risk 15 to win 10. If the number is +110, that means it’s the “underdog,” and you’d need to risk 10 to win 11.)

2Pac Murder Suspect Keefe D Faces New Charge After Jail Squabble

Duane “Keefe D” Davis, a suspect in the 2Pac murder case, has been hit with an additional charge after getting into a physical altercation in jail. Davis was caught fighting with another inmate at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. The fight, which was caught on security cameras, has led to Davis being charged with battery for his role in the incident. This new charge adds to the serious legal situation Davis is already facing.

Davis has been incarcerated since September 2023, following his arrest for allegedly orchestrating the 1996 murder of rapper 2Pac Shakur. His arrest marked the first breakthrough in the decades-old case, which had remained unsolved for years. Davis has pled not guilty to the charge of murder with a deadly weapon, and his trial is set to begin in May 2024.
His defense lawyer has vigorously denied the allegations, arguing that there’s no direct evidence linking Davis to the crime. The lawyer further stated, “He did what Detective [Greg] Kading did: He put out a book, and he made money. Even the state’s main investigator who testified at the grand jury said this is all about making money.”
Despite Davis’s claims, the case remains highly publicized, with many still seeking justice for 2Pac. The addition of the battery charge only complicates his legal battles, with his trial in May likely to be a key moment in the ongoing investigation.
