The 54th annual NAACP Awards air live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Calif. on Saturday (Feb. 25) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET.

The NAACP Awards will be held in front of a live studio audience for the first time in three years. Marking another milestone, Queen Latifah will become the first solo female host since Diana Ross helmed the ceremony in 2000.

How to Watch the NAACP Awards: Ways to Stream

The 2023 NAACP Awards will broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. CT. The show will air on BET and simulcast on MTV, MTV2, Paramount Network, Pop TV, Smithsonian, TV Land and VH1.

NAACP Awards Nominees & Presenters

This year’s nominees include Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Steve Lacy, SZA, Drake, Ari Lennox, Mary J. Blige, Jasmine Sullivan, Chris Brown, Chloe Bailey, Burna Boy and Wizkid.

Bey and Lamar lead the music categories with five nods each, while Netflix and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever landed the most nominations with 12 and 15 nods respectively.

Angela Bassett, Donald Glover, Zendaya, Anthony Anderson, Cedric the Entertainer, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Mike Epps, Dule Hill, Quinta Brunson, Loretta Devine, Kenan Thompson, Maya Rudolph, Brian Tyree Henry, Tyler James Williams, Sherly Lee Ralph, Janelle James, Tachina Arnold and Tracee Ellis Ross are among the nominees across acting categories.

Euphoria, Abbot Elementary, Atlanta, Rap Shi!t, Blackish, Bel-Air, Bridgerton, Queen Sugar, P-Valley, The Best-Man: The Final Chapters,Till, Emancipation and The Woman King were also nominated.

Presenters include Issa Rae, Kerry Washington, Taye Diggs, Letitia Wright, Janelle Monáe and Jonathon Majors.

Gabriel Union and Dwyane Wade will be honored with the President’s Award during the ceremony. Previous recipients include Rihanna, Jay-Z, LeBron James and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
