David Guetta & Sia Perform ‘Titanium’ Live For the First Time Ever at Ultra Music Festival 2025: Watch

In a night of big moments, Afrojack helped deliver one of the very biggest when he brought out French titan David Guetta and one of history’s all-time singers, Sia, to perform their 2011 classic “Titanium” during the first night (March 28) of Ultra Music Festival 2025.

The pair walked onto the festival’s mainstage hand-in-hand, a seeming necessity given that Sia’s signature black and blonde wig was covering her eyes. “I f—ing love you brother, thanks so much for everything,” Afrojack said to Guetta, adding, “and of course, ladies and gentlemen she’s here for the first time in Ultra history,” while introducing Sia. Then the opening chords of the song came on, drawing a roar of cheers from the crowd.

Wearing a voluminous pink taffeta dress and a pink bow to match, Sia then launched into the song, with the crowd screaming along to every word and Guetta and Afrojack hugging behind the decks. Watch footage from the performance below.

Extraordinarily, this appearance was the first time Guetta and Sia have ever appeared together to perform the song live since its 2011 release. A classic of the EDM era, “Titanium” spent 33 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2011 and 2012, peaking at No. 7 on the chart. Coming from Guetta’s 2011 album Nothing But the Beat, “Titanium” was — aptly for Friday’s performance — produced by Guetta, Afrojack and Dutch artist Giorgio Tuinfort.

The song was the first of many collaborations Sia and Guetta have done together over the years, with the pair also performing their latest song together, “Beautiful People,” last night during the festival.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival Miami, which continues Saturday (March 29) with performances by a Hardwell, deadmau5 b2b Pendulum, Carl Cox, Massano and Christ Avantgarde, Skirllex (who’ll perform at the festival for the first time in a decade) and many others.

J.Lo Reunites With Edward James Olmos

In the 1997 Selena film, Edward James Olmos played Abraham Quintanilla, Selena’s father, and Jennifer Lopez gave life to the tejano music icon. Now, the two are teaming up once again in a new project, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer announced on social media.  

“From ‘Selena’ to now, this journey has come full circle…SWIPE to see the big news,” J.Lo captioned the then and now photos of her and Olmos. “We’re thrilled to welcome the incredible Edward James Olmos to ‘Office Romance’!”

Viral Street Cleaner Debuts on Billboard Chart

Emerging Mexican folk singer Macario Martinez has made his Billboard debut through his collaboration with Eslabon Armado on the group’s set Vibras de Noche II, released last week. The 17-track set includes “Esa Noche,” the only collaboration on the LP, featuring the emerging 23-year-old Mexican folk singer. The song debuts at No. 50 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, scoring Martínez his Billboard debut.

The chart feat comes just months after Martínez, the young Mexican street sweeper who captured the internet’s attention, went viral on TikTok after sharing a heartfelt video in response for the support of his song “Sueña Lindo, Corazón.”

Gente de Zona and MLB

Cuban duo Gente de Zona scored a home run with its partnership with the Major League Baseball (MLB). It’s song “Cosas Bonitas” by Gente de Zona was licensed by the league to be used in the Spanish official tease for the Opening Day 2025 in the MLB Network. The track — part of its upcoming Reparto album — was used across all Spanish social media platforms and the network aired it during their broadcast program on Thursday. Check out the clip below:

Chasing Sueños

YouTube’s AJ Ramos has teamed up with Toyota and Sonoro to launch the new podcast, “Chasing Sueños.” The seven-episode series is now available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major podcast platforms. The original podcast “celebrates ambition, resilience, and cultural identity,” according to a press statement. The episodes, which feature in-depth conversations with Latin stars such as Maffio and Edgar Barrera, are recorded in a custom-designed Toyota Studio. The artists “delve into pivotal moments of each artist’s journey—from side hustles and setbacks to breakthroughs and success stories,” the statement further adds.

Shakira, Shakira

The Colombian superstar has announced additional shows in Mexico as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, including two more dates at the capital’s GNP Seguros Stadium on August 29-30, OCESA announced on Friday (March 28).

“Shakira continues to make history in Mexico! Due to high demand, another date of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has been added at the GNP Seguros Stadium,” OCESA said in a statement. With the addition of dates, the Colombian superstar is set to break a record at GNP Seguros Stadium with eight performances at that venue over two separate phases of her tour – surpassing shows by other global stars like Paul McCartney, Metallica, Coldplay, and Taylor Swift.

The other recently-announced tour dates in Mexico will be at Estadio Corregidora in Querétaro on Sept. 2, Estadio Akron in Guadalajara on Sept. 6, and Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla on Sept. 12.

Latin Women in Music

Billboard’s 2025 Latin Women in Music executives list has been revealed. The exclusive list comprises 45 executives “whose purview is singularly Latin or Latin American-focused, ­whether they are based in the United States or abroad, and whose work has a significant impact on the U.S. Latin market,” Billboard’s Leila Cobo explained. Meanwhile, on April 24, the Mujeres Latinas en la Música gala will air on Telemundo, honoring artists who have made an impact in the past year and beyond. Mexican star Ana Bárbara is set to host the ceremony.

Rapper Young Scooter Dies on 39th Birthday in Atlanta: Report

Young Scooter died Friday night (March 28) on the rapper’s 39th birthday, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and details from Atlanta Police.

Atlanta Police Lt. Andrew Smith led a news conference late Friday night to share details about what reportedly led to the death of Young Scooter (real name: Kenneth Edward Bailey). According to Smith, police responded to a call about a dispute with a weapon at a home and then set up a perimeter outside the house after a man shut the door on officers. Two men fled from the rear of the house, Smith said, with one returning to the home and the other jumping two fences as he was fleeing.

According to the AJC story, Young Scooter was the man who jumped the fences, and Smith said, “When officers located him on the other side of the fence, he appeared to have suffered an injury to his leg.”

Atlanta Police say the man was taken to Grady Marcus Trauma Center and died there.

During the news conference, Smith denied widespread reports spreading on social media that Scooter had been fatally shot by Atlanta PD officers. “Just to be very clear, the injury that was sustained was not via the officers on scene. It was when the male was fleeing.”

Young Scooter’s peers mourned the late rapper on social media, with Playboi Carti sharing the news on Instagram Stories with the caption “SMFH.” Quavo took to X with broken-heart and prayer-hands emojis, writing, “ion understand,” alongside a video of Scooter performing. The late rapper’s Instagram Stories shared dozens of posts wishing him a happy birthday throughout Friday.

While Scooter was born in South Carolina, his family moved to Atlanta when he was just 9 years old, and his music career has been based in the rap mecca ever since. He broke out locally with the song “Colombia” in 2012 before joining forces with hip-hop heavyweights Future, Juicy J and Young Thug for “DI$Function” in 2014. He hit the Billboard charts as a featured artist on Young Thug’s “Guwop,” also featuring Quavo & Offset of Migos, in 2016 (peaking at No. 45 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart) and on Future & Juice WRLD’s “Jet Lag” in 2018 (his only Billboard Hot 100 appearance, peaking at No. 72).

Demi Lovato Lip Syncs Along Lady Gaga’s ‘How Bad Do U Want Me’ on TikTok

Demi Lovato is a Little Monster!

The 32-year-old singer took to TikTok on Thursday (March 27) to share a video, in which she lip syncs along to Lady Gaga’s “How Bad Do U Want Me,” off her recently released album, Mayhem. “That girl in your head ain’t real/ How bad do you want me, for real?” Gaga sings on the track, as Lovato sings along dressed in a silky, silver turtleneck top with her hair in a sleek ponytail.

“Mayhem on repeat,” they wrote in the caption.

Mayhem, released earlier this month, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated March 22. It’s the seventh leader for Gaga, and her seventh studio album. She previously led the Billboard 200 with Chromatica (2020), the soundtrack to A Star Is Born (with Bradley Cooper, 2018), Joanne (2016), Cheek to Cheek (with Tony Bennett), ARTPOP (2013) and Born This Way (2011). In total, MAYHEM is Gaga’s 11th top 10-charting effort, stretching back to her debut project, The Fame, which reached No. 2 in 2010, after bowing on the list in 2008.

Gaga’s also heading out on her summer-fall 2025 Mayhem Ball tour in support of the album. Gaga’s first North American and European tour since her 2022 Chromatica Ball tour will open in the U.S. with a double-down in Las Vegas on July 16 and 18, two shows in Seattle, three nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and two-night runs in Miami, Toronto and Chicago. Jess Hilarious & Loren LoRosa Squash ‘Breakfast Club’ Beef With ‘The Boy Is Mine’ Spoof

The Breakfast Club co-hosts Jess Hilarious and Loren LoRosa addressed their recent drama in the best way possible — by joking about it.

Earlier today, they posted a parody music video of Monica & Brandy‘s hit song “The Boy is Mine” and called it, “The Job is Mine.” And while they can’t sing as good as Brandy and Monica, the song is pretty funny and immediately quiets all the noise surrounding them from this past week.

Everything unfolded after Jess Hilarious — who was away on maternity leave — took to Instagram and ranted about her sub LoRosa doing a segment that Jess originally came up with and admitted to feeling like her job was on the line. “I fought for that segment. That’s my segment,” she said. “If Loren is doing it now, it should be hers. But nobody told me anything. I was just coming to work every day, completely out of the loop. We supposed to be a team.”

She then continued by saying her co-hosts Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy didn’t stick up for her online as some fans criticized her and preferred LoRosa’s approach to the role over hers. “But not one person comes to my defense at all, ever, with this online sh—t. I love you,” she wrote in the caption to the statement, in which she shared that “there are truly so many factors that lead to this (reluctant) decision, all of which were genuinely and completely out of my control.”

She continued, “Touring, especially today, is challenging and involves to many little moving parts. Bottom line is we couldn’t make it all work on time. Disappointing you guys is killing me, because everything I’ve put into this has been for you and I know how excited you’ve been, but I can only hope you understand.”

The “Scars to Your Beautiful” singer noted that the rest of the tour, which will take place across Canada, Asia, Australia and Europe, will go on as planned. “As soon as I have new information on the new US dates, I will let you know,” she wrote, adding that original tickets will be honored on the new dates.

“I love you so much,” the Grammy winner concluded her statement. “I can’t apologize enough and I’ll make it up to you. See you soon.”

Cara’s Love & Hyperbole arrived on Valentine’s Day and featured singles “Dead Man,” “Slow Motion,” and “Obvious.”

Sauce Walka Doesn’t Plan on Avenging Sayso P’s Murder: ‘That’s Not Righteous’

Sauce Walka has said that he doesn’t plan on avenging his artist’s Sayso P’s recent murder in Memphis.

The Houston rapper sat down with Wikid Films to talk about the unfortunate situation he found himself in last weekend (Mar. 22), and while he feels like his people have his back, he doesn’t want to retaliate. “If I wanted to, I could have motherf—king four or 500 different men — good men — down here from different cities and states, including mine, around here ready to do whatever by snapping my finger in retaliation to what happened to me and my little brother,” he said of Sayso P’s murder.

“But as much as it hurts my soul, and it really break me down — I’m damn near getting emotional about the sh—t — I can’t retaliate because that’s not righteous. My brother had his own dealings as a man that a n—a got to respect and a motherf—ker had an opportunity to make me 100 percent accountable for the same thing… and took my life for no reason.”

Yella Beezy Released on $750,000 Bond in Mo3 Murder-for-Hire Case: Report

Rapper Yella Beezy was released on bond Friday morning (March 28). According to The Dallas Morning News, Beezy (born Markies Conway) posted a $750,000 bond to secure his release after being reduced by a judge from $2 million on Thursday.

After being indicted by a Dallas County grand jury on March 18, Beezy was arrested on a capital murder while remuneration charge in the shooting death of fellow Dallas rapper Mo3. The “Errybody” rapper was gunned down in November 2020 in a highway shooting on I-35E in Texas.

Beezy will reportedly be on strict bond conditions, including house arrest with an ankle monitor, random drug and alcohol testing and giving up his passport.

He’s barred from possessing weapons, contacting any witnesses, victims or co-defendants and must seek permission from the court to travel outside Dallas.

In addition to Beezy, a pair of individuals, Kewon White and Devin Brown, were also indicted on murder charges in the death of Mo3. The indictment accuses Beezy of hiring White to shoot Mo3.

Beezy was reportedly released around 10 a.m. local time on Friday morning after his bond was lowered from $2 million to $750,000 during Thursday’s hearing.

Footage of Mo3’s murder was played during a court hearing earlier this week, which shows the rapper being shot by an assailant on foot after his car stopped on I-35E near the Dallas Zoo.

Beezy was arrested in 2021 on charges of sexual assault and unlawful possession of a weapon, but they were ultimately dropped. He was the victim of a shooting in 2018.

On the music side, Beezy teamed up with Lil Wayne for “Hit” in 2024. His last album, Bad Azz Yella Boy, arrived in 2022.

Billboard has reached out to reps for Yella Beezy and the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.

Among the new songs is the fan-favorite previously unreleased track “Stained,” which was written sometime pre-Rare, but after 2015’s Revival. The song, originally produced by her now-fiancé, was first teased in 2016 when the singer shared a snippet. The track eventually leaked in full on the internet, but didn’t make the cut on either of Gomez’s next two albums. Now, it’s available for fans to enjoy in full.

In a livestream that was recorded by a fan last weekend, Gomez gave listeners (and Blanco, who was on the stream with her) some background on what had happened with “Stained,” saying, “You know, I actually loved that song and I was nervous … I remember I was still nervous to curse in a song. I don’t know what happened. I’m sure I leaked it on accident, or I did something. But it got out, and I’m kind of happy that it did.”

Additionally, the deluxe version features an acoustic version of their Gracie Abrams collaboration, “Call Me When You Break Up.” Upon the original album’s release, Gomez, Blanco and Abrams joined Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 this week to discuss the team-up, where the “That’s So True” singer opened up about how natural the song’s creation was.

“For as long as I’ve cared about music, both of their work has been in my life,” Abrams said of Gomez and Blanco. “So anything that they want from me is a yes forever. And I just felt really grateful for the opportunity. And also just the song was immediately so stuck in my head as soon as I heard it for the first time. And of course, the opportunity to write my verse on it just happened so quickly, which I think is such a testament to how addicting the song is I think.”

Tom Hanks Helps Re-Create ‘Forrest Gump’ Scenes in Son Chet Hanks’ ‘You Better Run’ Music Video

Looks like running — and playing Forrest Gump — runs in the Hanks family.

In the “You Better Run” music video for Chet Hanks’ band Something Out West, the singer tapped his famous father Tom Hanks to re-create scenes from Forrest Gump more than 30 years after the actor starred in the iconic film.

The three-minute music video opens with Chet sitting on a park bench in a replica of his father’s costume from the movie, paying tribute to one of its most famous visuals. Between clips of the younger Hanks retracing his dad’s footsteps while redoing more Forrest Gump scenes — including walking beside “Jenny,” getting chased down by a group of bullies and embarking on a yearslong jog across the United States — the video splices in shots of Something Out West performing the country-tinged rock track on a shrimp boat as another homage to the Robert Zemeckis-directed movie.

Partway through the video, Chet’s Academy Award-winning father joins him on the bench and shoots him stern-but-loving looks, at some points looking overstimulated by his son’s overexuberance. The closing shots, however, find the two men smiling together and exchanging a big hug.

“You better run like the devil’s on your tail/ Like you broke out of jail/ Like a big storm’s coming,” Chet sings on the track, which will appear on Something Out West’s upcoming Leaving Hollywood EP. “Run like a wild mustang/ Like a bullet train/ Let me tell you something.”

Tom shares Chet and son Truman with actress Rita Wilson. He’s also a dad to son Colin and daughter Elizabeth, whom he shares with ex-wife Samantha Lewes.

It’s long been clear that the Cast Away star and Chet have a special bond, with the latter at some points keeping his father hip on pop culture. Last year, for instance, the 35-year-old actor shared hilarious screenshots showing how he explained Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s feud to Tom over text.

“Big Main, can you explain the Drake/Kendrick Lamar feud to me?” the elder Hanks wrote at the time, adding after Chet filled him, “Holy cow! These are fighting words. People taking sides?? Who’s winning??”

Before joining Something Out West, Chet dabbled in a hip-hop career under the moniker Chet Haze.
