The Kentucky charity organization released a statement on Instagram Thursday (April 17), apologizing for riling up Swifties after mistakenly listing tickets to see the “Anti-Hero” singer in concert “during her upcoming 2026 tour” as an auction item in a press release for the May 2 event. “Our deepest apologies,” Unbridled Eve wrote, noting that the listing was supposed to have said, “two tickets for a concert during her next tour.”

“We have no knowledge whatsoever of when that tour will occur,” the organizers added.

The misleading ticket offering was first listed under a so-called “Taylor Swift Package,” which will also include a guitar signed by the 14-time Grammy winner. At press time, the release on Unbridled Derby’s website now features the updated wording.

Billboard has reached out to Swift’s rep for comment.

So, sorry Swifties: As of now, the superstar hasn’t yet officially made arrangements to hit the road again. Swift has been keeping a low profile these past few months after Eras closed its 149-show run at the end of last year, grossing a record-setting $2,077,618,725. Part way through the trek, the musician dropped her blockbuster album The Tortured Poets Department, which spent a collective 17 weeks atop the Billboard 200 and followed the mid-tour releases of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

Kendrick Lamar Is Now a Brand Ambassador for This French Luxury Fashion House

Kendrick Lamar has signed on as a brand ambassador for Chanel, and he’ll appear in the French fashion house’s new eyewear campaign that will roll out on Tuesday (April 22). Business of Fashion exclusively reported the news on Monday.

“I visited the Chanel ateliers and saw the process of how something goes from design to execution. Seeing the people who work hard and bring these visions to life resonates with me,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper told BoF in a statement.

“Chanel has a timeless legacy and that is always something I can get behind. Since they don’t make clothes for men, I knew it would have to be glasses,” he said. Dot sports Chanel shades in the music video for his and SZA’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “Luther,” which is currently spending its ninth week atop the all-genre songs tally dated April 26.

Lamar will appear alongside other star ambassadors for Chanel’s latest eyewear campaign, which was photographed by Karim Sadli.

Lamar has a bit of history with Chanel already. He wore a a custom quilted leather bomber jacket by Chanel’s then-creative director Virginie Viard at the 2023 Met Gala, when the event’s theme celebrated the life of late fashion designer and former Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

Dot and his creative partner Dave Free later designed the set of Chanel’s January 2024 haute couture show. The pgLang dynamic duo also directed the accompanying short film, The Button, which stars Naomi Campbell and Margaret Qualley.

Lamar’s latest fashion venture comes shortly after he and SZA embarked on their Grand National Tour, which kicked off on Saturday night at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium.

Sting, Katy Perry, J Balvin & More Artists Who Met Pope Francis

Pope Francis, who died on Monday (April 21) at 88, will be remembered as one of the most consequential leaders of the Catholic Church.

Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Francis was the first Jesuit and Latin American pontiff to inherit the sovereign of the Vatican City. He became head of the Roman Catholic Church in 2013 and, throughout the years until his death, sought to make the institution more inclusive.

Several artists — from Andrea Bocelli to Bono, Katy Perry, J Balvin and Sting — have met His Holiness since his papacy began. Balvin met Pope Francis at a summit organized by the Vitae Global Foundation in 2022. “Always vibing high, tolerance and love,” Balvin captioned his Instagram post at the time, which included a video and selfies with Francis.

Meanwhile, Bocelli met the pope after performing with the Voices of Haiti children’s choir in August 2017. The Italian tenor took to social media to honor Francis’ legacy after the news of his death.

“Beyond the profound sorrow of an absence that weighs upon us—and will continue to do so, leaving us all in a more silent solitude—what we feel for him is a gratitude of the deepest and most enduring kind,” Bocelli wrote Monday. “Since its inception, the Andrea Bocelli Foundation has found in Pope Francis a guiding star, illuminating our path. From the very first audience in 2013, we humbly laid before him our intentions, and his words comforted and urged us forward.”

The Cure Announce ‘Mixes of a Lost World’ Remix Collection Featuring Chino Moreno, Paul Oakenfold, Four Tet & More

The Cure will revisit their 2024 album Songs of a Lost World on an upcoming remix collection entitled Mixes of a Lost World. The 24-track compilation will feature fresh spins on the songs from EDM stars Four Tet, Paul Oakenfold and Orbital and others.

The album conceived and compiled by Cure singer Robert Smith will be released on June 13th through Fiction/Capitol Records and also come in a deluxe edition with additional remixes and reworks from Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, as well as Mogwai, 65daysofstatic, Gregor Tresher, Sally C, Daybreakers, Daniel Avery, meera and Trentemøller.

In a statement about the remix album, Smith said, “Just after Christmas I was sent a couple of unsolicited remixes of Songs of a Lost World tracks and I really loved them. The Cure has a colorful history with all kinds of dance music, and I was curious as to how the whole album would sound entirely reinterpreted by others.” The curiosity resulted in what he described as a “fabulous trip” through the original album’s expansive eight songs by 24 artists.

All of the Cure’s recording royalties from the remix album will benefit War Child UK. The album will come in deluxe three LP, three-CD and three cassette formats with both the “artist and remixers” tracks, as well as two-LP/CD/cassette versions with just the remixers tracks. Songs of a Lost World was the Cure’s first new album in 16 years and the upcoming remix collection will mark their third such release, following on the heels of 2018’s Torn Down: Mixed Up Extras 2018 and 1990’s Mixed Up.

After the long break, Smith said in December that in addition to a live album, Songs of a Live World, that there is “another album which is pretty much ready to go,” one that he referred to as a “companion piece,” seemingly in reference to the remix album. He also said that there is a “third one which is completely different. It’s really kind of random stuff, it’s like late-night studio stuff.”

Watch Travis Scott Hop Into the Ring at WrestleMania & Get Taken Down by Cody Rhodes

Fresh off headlining Coachella, Travis Scott made his return to WWE in Las Vegas on Sunday night (April 20) when La Flame crashed WrestleMania and took part in the action in the ring.

In the midst of night two’s main event between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, “FE!N” blared through the Allegiant Stadium speakers and La Flame entered the venue. Scott provided an assist to John Cena when the rapper pulled the referee out of the ring as Rhodes was going for a three-count against the wrestler after connecting on his finishing move, the Cross Rhodes.

The Cactus Jack boss then entered the ring himself and took a bump as Rhodes cashed in on his “receipt” and took Scott out with another Cross Rhodes. “I get those goosebumps every time,” announcer Michael Cole quipped.

Cena ended up giving Rhodes a low blow and then hit the American Nightmare with the championship belt to clinch the victory and give Cena his record-breaking 17th WWE world title.

Scott and the WWE’s relationship has grown considerably over the course of the year, and he infiltrated the Cena/Rhodes storyline in March at the Elimination Chamber when he added to the beatdown of Rhodes with an open-hand slap. The wrestler reportedly suffered a busted eardrum and a black eye at the hands of the rapper.

Don’t expect Scott to go anywhere, either, as Triple H, the WWE’s chief content officer, raved about the rapper’s impact on the company. “For him to come in here and put all that aside and be a little kid living a dream, living out a fantasy to where he can step in the ring and it’s all from a respect place. The most crushing thing for Travis in the world would be if he went out and screwed it up.

“He comes back and he’s like a kid at Christmas, giddy and laughing. He walked backstage tonight after he was done, he was like, ‘Dude, this is like my full-time job now. I’m telling ya.’ Two minutes later, I said, ‘See you at work tomorrow.’ He loves it.”

Kendrick Lamar & SZA Lead Hot 100 for Ninth Week, Teddy Swims Makes History in Top 10

Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” rules the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a ninth total and consecutive week. The single, whose title honors late R&B legend Luther Vandross, who is sampled on the track, became Lamar’s sixth No. 1 and SZA’s third. Lamar and SZA each extend their longest career Hot 100 reigns with the song, whose official video premiered April 11.

Meanwhile, “Luther” passes 24kGoldn’s “Mood” (featuring iann dior), which led for eight weeks in 2020-21, for the sole second-longest Hot 100 command among rap hits this decade, after only Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” which dominated for 11 weeks in 2020. (Rap titles are defined as those that have hit or are eligible for Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart.)

Plus, Chappell Roan ties her best Hot 100 rank, as “Pink Pony Club” rises 5-4; Alex Warren’s first top 10, “Ordinary,” reaches the top five (7-5), and hits No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart; and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” at No. 7, breaks the record for the most weeks ever spent in the Hot 100’s top 10, as it adds a 58th week in the region, one-upping the run of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”

Watch Ed Sheeran Perform With Shaboozey & Alex Warren at Old Phone Pub Coachella Pop-Up

Ed Sheeran brought the cozy pub experience to Coachella for fans to get tipsy and listen to music, but there was nothing ordinary about the set — featuring special guests Shaboozey and Alex Warren — he performed inside.

In videos posted to Instagram Sunday (April 20), the British pop star stands with an acoustic guitar in front of a small crowd gathered inside his Old Phone Pub pop-up, a structure specially created to make guests in the desert feel like they’re actually grabbing a pint at a hole-in-the-wall joint. But Sheeran isn’t alone. In one clip, ‘Boozey joins him to perform his record-tying 19-week Billboard Hot 100-topper “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” smiling as he sings in unison with the “Shape of You” musician before stepping out into the audience, inviting one woman to get up and dance with him.

In another clip, Sheeran welcomes breakout star Alex Warren, a TikToker whose hit “Ordinary” has rapidly propelled him to the top 10 of the Hot 100 this year. “I met this guy today for the first time,” Sheeran says before Warren steps up to the mic. “I’m so honored that he’s come to join us.”

The pair then sings the heartfelt ballad together as Sheeran plays guitar. In the comments, the four-time Grammy winner wrote, “There’s like one song every year that blows my socks off, and it’s this one.”

“Such an incredible song and talent, such an honour having you down man, and congrats on everything, so deserved,” Sheeran, who also played the Mojave stage on Saturday (April 20), added of Warren and “Ordinary.”

Sunday marked the final day of Coachella 2025, which occurred over the course of two back-to-back weekends and saw headliners Lady Gaga, Green Day and Post Malone take the main stages. The festival was only the latest host site for Sheeran’s Old Phone Pub, which the musician previously set up for one night only in Ipswich, Mass., to promote his new single, “Azizam,” ahead of upcoming album Play.

And while dad was at Coachella over the weekend hanging out, Hailey also marked a milestone in a sweet Insta photo dump that featured a snap of her holding Jack closely to her chest as he chilled in a yellow onesie.

“This Easter vs. Last Easter hehe [Easter bunny emoji],” she wrote alongside the trio of snaps that also included a close-up of the blue bunny on the front of Jack’s outfit and a shot from a year ago of the Rhode founder dressed in a gingham print maternity dress, with her right hand resting on her baby bump.

Bieber has been living it up at Coachella over the past two weeks, including attending YEAT’s set during the first weekend with Hailey, then bouncing back to Los Angeles last weekend to help Sexxy Red celebrate her 27th birthday in style. He showed up again in videos from the second weekend of Coachella in which he was seen dancing shirtless while smoking what appeared to be a joint.

Last week also saw the beginning of the roll-out for Bieber’s new clothing brand, Skylrk, which got co-signs from Gunna and Kai Cenat in a video shared on the singer’s Instagram in which the two men stood amidst a stack of the brand’s as-yet-unreleased sandals and sneakers.

Doechii Explains How SZA’s ‘Ctrl’ Pushed Her to Break Up With Her Ex-Boyfriend

Thanks to SZA‘s debut album, Doechii was able to accept that the party was definitely over with an unsupportive ex years ago.

In a Cosmopolitan cover story published Monday (April 21), the Swamp Princess recalled how listening to Ctrl back when she was 18 enabled her to break things off with her then-boyfriend, who she says limited her creatively. “I was dating a guy who just wasn’t very supportive of my music, and it really stifled me,” she told the publication. “I stopped writing because he was just like, ‘That’s not cool.’ I took his opinion way too seriously when really he just didn’t get it.”

“I remember listening to SZA’s Ctrl for the first time, and it literally gave me the courage to break up with him,” Doechii continued. “I only bring that up because she inspired me to be vulnerable through my music in a way that I didn’t think I could be.”

The decision definitely paid off. Eight years later, Doechii is now the third woman to ever win best rap album at the Grammys — taking home the award in February for breakthrough mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal — and was crowned Billboard‘s 2025 Woman of the Year in March. She’s also in another relationship now, this time with a woman, about which she told Cosmo, “My literal existence as a queer Black woman is a major contribution to the hip-hop genre.”

“I’m speaking truthfully from a queer Black woman’s perspective, and being honest about my life through my lens is amazing,” the Florida native added. “That perspective is being highlighted, and we need queer perspectives.”

Doechii’s praise for SZA comes as the two women share slots high up on the Billboard Hot 100, with the former’s first-ever top 10 hit, “Anxiety,” sitting at No. 14 on the chart dated April 19 while the latter’s “Luther” collaboration with Kendrick Lamar spends its eighth week at No. 1. And in her cover story, the “Denial Is a River” spitfire also gushed about another leading lady in music: Beyoncé.

“I relate to her efforts as a businesswoman and her leadership,” Doechii said. “She is the embodiment of an eloquent leader. I look up to the way that she handles her job, her fame, and her fans. She is the ultimate showgirl and professional artist.”

TOMORROW X TOGETHER Ask If You Speak Their ‘Love Language’ on Upcoming Single

TOMORROW X TOGETHER will drop their new digital single, “Love Language,” on May 2. The upcoming song from SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI was announced on Weverse on Monday morning (April 21) along with a digital cover image featuring a padlock with the password “Love Language” dialed into it.

According to a release announcing the song, the latest tease is a call-back to a surprise April 1 fan event where their MOA fan group decoded a secret message that read “UNLOCKING LOVE… UNTIL NEX TIME. Play More?” by tooling around the band’s website.

“Blending the vibrant and upbeat melody of the Afro house genre, ‘Love Language’ perfectly encapsulates the signature youthful and refreshing energy of Gen Z’s leading band,” according to the release about the song featuring lyrics co-written by band member HUENINGKAI. The track will follow on the heels of previous hits including “Our Summer” from their 2019 debut album, The Dream Chapter: STAR, as well as “No Rules” from 2021’s The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE and and “I’ll See You There Tomorrow” from TXT’s sixth mini album, 2024’s minisode 3: TOMORROW.
