JoJo Siwa Performs Some Serious Wizardry As She Transforms Into Draco Malfoy

It’s not even officially Halloween weekend yet, and JoJo Siwa is already winning in the costume category.

The 19-year-old star took to TikTok on Tuesday (Oct. 24) to show off her transformation into Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series, portrayed in the films by Tom Felton. With her platinum blonde hair and her Slytherin robe, Siwa bears a striking resemblance to the beloved character.

In her video, the Nickelodeon alum recreated a scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, in which Felton’s Draco introduces himself and his friends to Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe). “This is Crabbe, and Goyle,” Siwa lip syncs in her costume. “And I’m Malfoy. Draco Malfoy.”

Siwa’s girlfriend, fellow TikTok star Avery Cyrus, even shared her thoughts in the comments section, sweetly chiming in, “All the sudden I have a crush on Draco Malfoy.”

Siwa and Cyrus confirmed their relationship after weeks of speculation, when the Dance Moms star posted a video of the two posing together in a photo booth, smiling before they lean in for a kiss. “Happiest girl,” the dancer captioned the post.

In 2021, Siwa officially came out on social media. “I never wanted [my coming out] to be a big deal,” she said in an interview with People a few months later. “I’ve never gotten this much support from the world. I think this is the first time that I’ve felt so personally happy.”

“I still don’t know what I am. It’s, like, I want to figure it out … I don’t know — bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say ‘gay’ because it just kind of covers it, or ‘queer’ because I think the keyword is cool,” she said before adding that she’s considered labeling herself pansexual.

Salt-N-Pepa to Be Honored With Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Salt-N-Pepa are the latest celebrities to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on Tuesday (Oct. 25) that the MCs will receive their star in the Recording category, and the honor marks the 2,739th star on the walk of fame.

The duo’s star will be located at 6213 Hollywood Boulevard adjacent to Amoeba Music, and will be presented to them in a ceremony on Friday (Nov. 4) at 11:30 a.m. PT. MC Lyte and Roxanne Chante will appear as guest speakers of the event, and the entire ceremony will be streamed live exclusively at walkoffame.com.

“This upcoming star ceremony honoring Hip-Hop pioneers SaltN-Pepa will honor the amazing 80s music we all love and so many grew up with!” shared Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez in a press statement. “We’re placing these ladies of Hip Hop royalty adjacent to Amoeba Music and right next to the Walk of Fame star of another Queen of Hip Hop, Missy Elliott!”

Cheryl James (Salt) and Sandra Denton (Pepa) got their start as a group back in 1985, and since then, they’ve reached countless accomplishments including three No. 1s on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart, five albums on the Billboard 200, and winning the Grammy for best rap performance by a duo or group in 1995 — which made them the first women in rap to win a Grammy.

Additionally, their hit “Push It” became the first rap song by a female act to hit the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, and it eventually climbed its way up to No. 19.

Manuel Turizo’s ‘La Bachata’ Rises to No. 1 on Latin Airplay Chart

Manuel Turizo secures his fifth No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart as “La Bachata” advances from No. 4 to lead the Oct. 29-dated ranking. The track concurrently notches a sixth week at No. 1 on Tropical Airplay.

“La Bachata,” released on La Industria/Sony Music Latin, tallied 10.7 million in audience impressions, up 29%, earned in the U.S. in the Oct.17-23 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The song, written by Turizo, Edgar Barrera, Andrés Jael Correa, Juan Diego Medina and Miguel Andrés Martinez, is the first single from Turizo’s forthcoming album 2000 (release date TBD).

The new leader is the fifth champ for Turizo among 24 Latin Airplay chart entries. The Colombian’s first No. 1, “Vaina Loca” with Ozuna, dominated for two weeks in 2018. “La Bachata” is also Turizo’s second chart-topper as a soloist, unaccompanied by any other act.

Elsewhere, the Latin Airplay coronation helps “La Bachata” improve its standing on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs chart. There, the song lifts 8-6, the closest to the top Turizo has ranked since the No. 5 high of “La Nota” in 2021. Plus, “La Bachata” gain 1% in streams, to 5.1 million, while it dips 5% in downloads sold, earned in the week ending Oct. 20.

Further, “La Bachata” holds at No. 1 for a sixth consecutive week on Tropical Airplay (and counting), five weeks after it ascended to the summit. It becomes the third-longest-leading title in 2022, trailing Romeo Santos’s “Sus Huellas” which ruled for 10 weeks and Don Omar and Nio Garciá’s 8-week ruler, “Se Mena.”

Kelly Clarkson Turns Country Balladeer With Trisha Yearwood Favorite for ‘Kellyoke’

Kelly Clarkson channeled her best Trisha Yearwood on Tuesday (Oct. 25) to belt out “How Do I Live” for her latest Kellyoke musical number on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

“How do I get through one night without you/ If I had to live without you, what kind of life would that be?/ Oh and I, I need you in my arms, need you to hold/ You’re my world, my heart, my soul/ If you ever leave/ Baby you would take away everything good in my life/ And tell me now/ How do I live without you?” she sang, wearing a yellow maxi dress printed with blue flowers and her hair up in a high pony.

Both Yearwood and LeAnn Rimes recorded the ballad in the late ’90s, and the versions were released simultaneously on May 23, 1997. While Yearwood’s rendition was featured in the action film Con Air, Rimes’ recording outperformed its twin on the charts, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 behind Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind 1997” and setting a record at the time for spending 69 consecutive weeks on the chart. Since then, six songs have surpassed that feat, with Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves” being recently crowned the new record-holder at 91 weeks (and counting).

This is hardly the first time Clarkson has covered Yearwood on her talk show: Earlier this month, she tackled 1991’s “That’s What I Like About You” and last year she took on 1993’s “Walkaway Joe.” Plus, Yearwood and husband Garth Brooks have both been repeat guests on the show.

The duo traded impressive belts and notes as they performed the track, leading to a standing ovation from Legend himself. “I love it. Thank you for singing my song. I felt your passion, I felt your love,” he told the contestants, before ultimately picking Hawkins as his personal pick to win the battle.

But the decision came down to Coach Shelton, who was visibly stuck on having to choose between two incredibly talented singers. “Well, my first thought is these guys did an incredible job of sticking to the plan and representing the song and giving it what it needed,” he said, noting that Hillary had a “tall glass to go up against” Kevin.

“I mean, he’s unbelievable, but so are you,” Shelton said. “I’m completely shocked at the way you stepped up to the plate. You took all my notes, you walked up here and gave it, I feel like, 100% of what you had to give it. Kevin, you also gave 100% of what you had to give for this performance. Even though that was 100%, I still don’t think we’ve seen your full potential. And, man, that’s saying a lot because that was obviously an incredible performance.”

From ‘Fearless’ to ‘Reputation,’ Which Taylor Swift Tour Was Your Favorite? Vote!

It’s been four long years since Taylor Swift wrapped her last world tour, and you could say quite a lot has happened in the interim.

Not only has the superstar churned out a mind-boggling amount of musical output — including four albums of original music and re-recordings of 2008’s Fearless and 2012’s Red — but the world has gone through a global pandemic and countless other major events as well. Oh, and did we forget to mention Taylor also debuted her 2020 Sundance documentary Miss Americana, directed her first short film for the 10-minute version of “All Too Well” and very nearly launched her own festival? (RIP LoverFest!)

But on the heels of her latest, record-breaking studio set Midnights, the singer hinted this week during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she’s ready to hit the road again. “I think I should do it,” she teased when host Jimmy Fallon brought up the possibility of going back on tour. “I should do it…When it’s time, we’ll do it.

“I miss it, I really miss it,” Taylor went on. “I really miss, you know, when you write songs and you’re proud of the songs, and you have the fans reacting, the most potent way that you can see them react is when you’re looking into their faces. Do you know what I mean? I miss that a lot.”

Victoria Beckham’s Go-To Karaoke Song Is This Spice Girls Hit

Victoria Beckham joined Anne Hathaway as a guest on the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live, and host Andy Cohen treated fans to a fun little Q&A with Posh Spice.

After dishing on her first concert, favorite part of her skincare routine and favorite romantic comedy, Beckham was asked what her favorite karaoke song is.

While the star initially opted for the Spice Girls‘ classic “Spice Up Your Life,” she immediately changed her mind and decided on the girl group’s 1997 hit, “Stop.” “It’s got a really great little dance routine that goes down a storm when doing karaoke,” Beckham explained.

When Hathaway asked if the Spice Girl could show off her iconic girl group moves, Posh declined. “Oh, come on, no!” she playfully said.

While Beckham had her own favorite Spice Girls hits to take the karaoke stage with, Billboard ranked “Wannabe” as No. 43 on our greatest karaoke songs of all time list. “I think most people love that song. It doesn’t matter the age. It’s one of those the energy is up there. And it’s repetitive, so everybody knows the word,” said KJ Danny, former karaoke operator of Melody Bar in Westchester, Calif., and The Shack in Playa del Rey, Calif.

A Timeline of the Consequences Kanye West Has Faced for His ‘WLM’ Shirts & Antisemitic Hate Speech

Kanye West is facing very public reckoning. The “Hurricane” rapper made headlines at his Yeezy Paris Fashion Week show on Oct. 3 for wearing a shirt emblazoned with the phrase “White Lives Matter” on its back, and featuring Black models in the shirt. The phrase is one that was adopted by neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups in response to the Black Lives Matter movement, and the rapper has been facing backlash from both fans and celebrities online.

But the controversy did not stop for there for Ye, who has doubled down on his comments on Instagram and later took to Twitter to use antisemitic rhetoric in his posts, then continued to amplify his hate speech in interviews. The reaction from the public was swift, with several companies — including The Gap, Balenciaga, and more — terminating their relationships and brand deals with the rapper.

Forbes has also reported that Ye has lost his billionaire status after Adidas announced Oct. 25 that it was dropping his due deal, and that the brand does not tolerate hate speech. The move, according to the publication, now puts Ye’s net worth at $400 million and resulted in his removal from Forbes‘ billionaires list.

Dita Von Teese Says It Was a ‘True Pleasure’ Working With Taylor Swift in ‘Bejeweled’ Video

Dita Von Teese opened up Tuesday (Oct. 25) about what it was like to dance with Taylor Swift in her magical music video for Midnights album cut “Bejeweled.”

In the fairytale-inspired clip, the famed burlesque performer plays the Fairy Goddess to the superstar’s Cinderella, and even performs alongside the superstar in giant matching martini glasses covered in Swarovski crystals.

“I had a wonderful time working with Taylor’s stylist Joseph Cassell on creating the costumes with Catherine D’Lish, and coaching Taylor on the act… and what a delight to perform alongside her for the video!” the famed burlesque performer said in a statement. “Taylor’s generosity radiates in all that she does. I’m deeply touched by her kindness in acknowledging not only me, but burlesque, an American art form to which I have dedicated my life. It was a true pleasure to share my martini glass act with her.”

For her part, Swift dished on recruiting Von Teese for the role in her sit-down Monday night (Oct. 24) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying, “One of my favorite performers, who I think has been so influential in pop music, I’ve nicknamed this character not the Fairy Godmother but the Fairy Goddess … and that is played by Dita Von Teese, who I think is one of the most iconic performers and it’s so exciting to see her do what she does in this.”

The “Bejeweled” visual also features cameos by the likes of Laura Dern as Taylor’s villainous Step Mommy, HAIM as her cruel stepsisters, Pat McGrath as the queen and Jack Antonoff as the prince the singer ghosts by the end of the narrative in favor of the keys to the castle.

‘The View’ Hosts Defend Taylor Swift’s ‘Fat’ Scale in ‘Anti-Hero’ Music Video

Following the release of Taylor Swift‘s vulnerable “Anti-Hero” music video on Friday (Oct. 21), the star received some backlash, with critics accusing her of being “fatphobic” due to a scene in which Swift steps on a scale that reads “fat.”

However, on Tuesday morning’s (Oct. 25) episode of The View, the hosts took to Swift’s defense, noting that she is expressing her personal experience with body image. “They missed the point,” Sunny Hostin said. “For someone who’s an artist, she gets to have agency over her artistry. She was describing a personal experience, and quite frankly, it’s a personal experience a lot of women experience. I’ve experienced it, and men. You get on the scale and you’re a perfectly normal weight and all you see is fat, all you see is, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m five pounds heavier than I should be.’”

Whoopi Goldberg urged critics to “just let her have her feelings,” and not to watch the video if don’t like it. “Why are you wasting your time on this?” she continued. “You all want to say something about Taylor Swift, leave her a– alone!”

Goldberg concluded by calling out “our society” instead Swift. “You can never be just what you are. Everybody wants you to be something more, be less this, more that, and it’s what people do to each other on social media,” she said.

Swift has previously opened up about personal nature of “Anti-Hero,” calling it “one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” as she’s never “delved this far into my insecurities in this detail before.”

“I struggle a lot with the idea that my life has become unmanageably sized,” she continued. “Not to sound too dark, but I just struggle with the idea of not feeling like a person — don’t feel bad for me, you don’t need to. But this song really is a real guided tour through all the things I tend to hate about myself; we all hate things about ourselves.”
