Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Kendrick Lamar finally responded to Drake‘s “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” with his own fiery single “Euphoria.” Produced by Sounwave, Cardo and Kyro, the song clocks in at six minutes, 24-seconds and has plenty of disses to unpack.
Throughout “Euphoria,” Lamar goes after a number of things he doesn’t like about Drake, like the way he talks, the way he dresses, the way he walks and the way he raises his son. He also touches on the 6 God’s dating life and even takes a shot at Lil Yachty for collaborating with Drizzy.
The song’s subject matter and the two-and-a-half week wait have been the main topics of conversation over the past 24 hours. People on social media have either been dissecting double entendres or reaching for the stars in hopes that their theories will go viral. As it turns out, celebrities are no different; rappers and athletes-turned-pundits have decided to chime in as well with their own two cents.
So far, the consensus is somewhat split. Gillie Da Kid of Million Dollaz Worth of Game called the record “corn on the cob,” KXNG CROOKED disagreed with Gillie, Mysonne was flabbergasted at the thought of people saying Kendrick’s response was mid, Cam and Mase think Drake is still in the lead, Rick Ross had more jokes, and Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson of the All the Smoke podcast were impressed and excited about what’s to come. Creators have even gotten in on the discussion with the RDC guys quickly flipping a skit about the impact of Kendrick’s song.

Gillie Da Kid
The rapper and one half of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast took to his Instagram to call Kendrick’s “Euphoria” diss “corn on the cob,” while plenty of people in his comments disagreed. This reaction definitely seems tongue-in-cheek, considering Gillie started talking about Nino Brown pistol whipping folks in New Jack City and ended the video with a smirk.

Matt Barnes & Stephen Jackson
The fellas over at the All the Smoke podcast were impressed by “Euphoria.” Stephen Jackson said “you have to listen to that at least 20 times” to catch everything. Meanwhile, Matt Barnes hoped Drake and Kendrick could keep their feud on wax, saying, “These dudes are all great in their own way and I hope that they can just keep this for the sport of it, and it doesn’t have to spill over.”

KXNG CROOKED
KXNG CROOKED took to his YouTube channel The Corner to give fans his thoughts on Kendrick’s response. First, he gives his opinion on some of the talking heads who have been weighing in on the battle, saying, “a lot of people in the [media] industry don’t seem to like Kendrick Lamar.” According to him, some of the critiques come across as disrespectful. CROOKED also brings up Gillie’s critique when discussing “hot takes” and says he doesn’t agree with assessment, before asking Gillie, “Did you listen to the joint, man? Or did you skim through it?”

Cam’ron & Ma$e
The It Is What It Is duo took a break from their usual sports talk to give fans their thoughts on the Drake and Kendrick saga. Both battle-tested emcees have seen their fair share of rap beefs, so they’re certainly experts in this category. However, neither of the hosts felt impressed by “Euphoria” and said Drake was winning the battle so far. Ma$e felt Lamar took too long to respond, saying, “I think if Kendrick dropped this record right after ‘Drop And Give Me 50,’ it would’ve been crazy.” Cam then hit Ma$e with a rebuttal by bringing up the fact that Ma$e waited four years to respond to Cam with his “The Oracle” diss song, which sent them both bursting into laughter. Cam’ron also felt Kendrick’s diss record was too long — an interesting take since his Jay-Z diss “You Gotta Love It” is longer than “Euphoria” by one whole minute.

Rick Ross
Rick Ross is back with the jokes. First he referred to Drake as “white boy” and “crodie,” and then asked, “do they even have wi-fi on that cargo plane?” Ross then suggested Drake shouldn’t respond and told Lil Yachty to stand down if he’s asked by Drake to ghostwrite. “Yachty, I know you wanna get that money. You ain’t wrong, n—a, keep buying those big houses,” he said in his video.

Mark Phillips and his RDC World crew were back at it again when they mocked Drake in a new skit.
