Beyoncé Tour Reveal, New Lady Gaga Song & Kendrick Lamar at an All-Time High After 2025 Grammys

While there were plenty of headlines from the 2025 Grammy Awards — Beyoncé finally wins album of the year! Chappell Roan wins best new artist! Kendrick Lamar wins record and song of the year for a Drake diss track! — there was also plenty of news that emerged around the show.

Before Sunday night’s show, Queen Bey teased that a Cowboy Carter Tour announcement was on the way, and she delivered with cities and dates first thing Monday. Lady Gaga delivered a full music video for her latest Mayhem track “Abracadabra” as part of a MasterCard commercial during the awards show. And Kendrick Lamar built up some major momentum heading into his Super Bowl halftime headlining slot this weekend with a show-leading five Grammy wins for “Not Like Us,” seemingly erasing any doubt about whether he would perform the Drake diss on the massive stage.

Okay, I was rooting for somebody who’s no longer in, so I don’t know. Okay, part of me does not want the same team to win this many times in a row, but the other team knocked out the team I was rooting for it. As you can tell, I’m not naming anyone, right?

Still at 10, Morgan Wallen, and down to nine is Gracie Abrams. “DtMF” slides to eight, as does Billie to seven. Teddy swims rises to six. AndShaboozey slips to five. “Luther” is up to No. 4. She did it. Beyoncé took best country album. It was a night of hot fashions, unbelievable performances and red carpet magic.

Kai Cenat:

Beyoncé, I’m gonna say, “Beyoncé go to the left, to the left.”

Tetris Kelly:

It’s Tetris at the 67th Grammy Awards. I mean, Shakira is right there behind me. We’re giving you a rundown of the biggest winners, performances and everything you missed at the show.After a kiss from Jay-Z and Blue Ivy, Beyoncé accepted her award for best country album for ‘Cowboy Carter.’

Beyoncé:

Wow, I really was not expecting this. 

Tetris Kelly:

And closed the show with the ultimate accomplishment for album of the year. 

Beyoncé:

I just feel very full and very honored. 

Tetris Kelly:

It was a night of female power. Charli XCX took her first Grammys ever. Doechii won best rap album. Chappell won the coveted best new artist award. 

Chappell Roan:

My hat’s gonna fall and it’s gonna be okay. 

Tetris Kelly:

And perform her hit “Pink Pony Club.” Sabrina Carpenter had everyone talking. 

Sabrina Carpenter:

I’m still out of breath from the performance. 

Tetris Kelly:

With her win for best pop vocal album and classic retro looks, which seemed to be the trend of the night with Marilyn silhouettes, nudes and classic vintage glam. We celebrated Shakira’s birthday on the red carpet. Happy birthday to you!

2025 Grammy Red Carpet: See the Best Pics

Before Sunday’s (Feb. 2) prime-time Grammy Awards, the night’s biggest honorees gathered on a star-studded red carpet, and Billboard has rounded up the best photos from the night.

Sabrina Carpenter — who is already a winner, thanks to her best pop solo performance win for “Espresso” at the Grammy Premiere Ceremony — hit the red carpet in a powder-blue gown accented with a feather waist and train; she was a six-time nominee going into Sunday.

Chappell Roan, who was also up for six 2025 noms, arrived in her signature, drag-inspired makeup and a fringed fascinator atop her crimson curls. Her gown was inspired by impressionist art, with a Degas painting decorating her yellow skirt.

Seven-time nominee Billie Eilish wore a black jacket-and-pants set, completed with a black hat, black sunglasses, black shoes and a wallet chain. Ye set social media ablaze, hitting the red carpet with his wife, Bianca Censori, wearing a completely transparent netted dress that left little to the imagination, covered only by a fur coat. Another conversation-starting red-carpet look was the Smith kids, with Jaden Smith wearing a black-house headpiece and Willow in a black bikini set and floor-length black coat.

The 67th annual Grammy Awards broadcast begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. The bulk of the day’s awards were handed out at the three-hour-plus Grammy Premiere Ceremony at the neighboring Peacock Theatre.

Billboard’s Pre-Show to Music’s Biggest Night: Nominees, Predictions & More | Billboard News

The 2025 Grammys are Sunday (Feb. 2) and the Billboard staff has come together to discuss the biggest night in music and L.A.’s rebuilding efforts from the devastating wildfires. From the pop girl sensations of 2024, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Charli XCX, to Beyoncé securing 11 nominations, we will be predicting who will win big in the pop, rap and country categories. The Game heads out into the community to help those in need, while Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt share updates about the wildfires and more.

No after parties, canceled carpets. We have never done a pre-show quite like this, but we are LA strong and united for the biggest night in music with a pre-show fundraiser. Our hearts are with the people of Los Angeles as they face the aftermath of the fires. In fact, many members of our own staff and community have been personally affected, and so our focus at this time is to allocate resources for the city we all call home. That’s why Billboard is helping raise funds for local organizations, including CalFund, the Pasadena Community Foundation, and Baby2Baby, an organization that provides for children living in poverty. And while no amount of money could ever bring back what was lost, it’s been beautiful to see so many stepping up.

One thing that I will say is I’m so, so grateful for and happy for is to watch how that community has come together. It’s just, I think the unity of that community is something that really inspired the hell out of me, you know, to see the all of us coming together and pushing through that thing.

The trilogy is complete. The Weeknd’s new album has arrived and not only is it full of some major collabs, he’s heading on tour. This is music you should know: ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow.’ Concluding the trilogy that began with 2020’s ‘After Hours’ and 2022’s ‘Dawn FM,’ The Weeknd experiments on the 84-minute ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow.’ It features Lana Del Rey, Travis Scott, Anitta and more. The Toronto crooner announced the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ Tour, where he’s hitting some stadiums and bringing Playboi Carti with him. L.A.’s wildfire benefit concert FireAid happened Thursday night, and we’re taking you inside the star-studded lineup. Keep watching to see who performed.

A new song from Lady Gaga, an appearance from Kamala Harris, Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Stevie Nicks, a Nirvana all-star jam, and so much more. The city of L.A. got together at two arenas to raise money after the recent wildfires. We take you to FireAid in ‘Billboard All Access.’ Olivia Rodrigo had the crowd singing every word in the Intuit Dome and so did Tate McRae. Kamala Harris and her husband Doug stopped by and were greeted to roaring applause from the crowd. Over at the Kia Forum, the vibes were going with Stevie Nicks. And nobody was ready to see Nirvana’s surviving members reunite — with added star power. Back at the Intuit Dome, Billie Eilish and Finneas captivated. Nirvana’s Reunion, Dr. Dre’s Cali Cameo, Lady Gaga’s Show-Closer & More of the Best Photos From FireAid Benefit Concert

With a lineup of 27 legendary acts across two venues to raise money for wildfire victims and rebuilding efforts, Thursday night’s FireAid benefit concert was poised to be an epic night. But what transpired at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, turned out to be even more historic than anyone could have expected.

The most unexpected part of the night came from the unannounced reunion of the surviving members of Nirvana — drummer Dave Grohl and bassist Krist Novoselic, along with touring guitarist Pat Smear — plus a revolving door of female vocalists (lovingly dubbed “Hervana”). They started out with St. Vincent for “Breed,” then Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon for “School,” followed by Joan Jett on “Territorial Pissings,” and finally Dave’s 18-year-old daughter Violet Grohl for “All Apologies.” The performance needed (and got) no introduction, as audience members at the Forum and at home pieced together what they were witnessing in real time.

Other surprise collabs throughout the night included Billie Eilish (who would later perform a solo set with her brother Finneas at the Intuit Dome) joining show openers Green Day for a perfect Billie + Billie Joe moment on “Last Night on Earth.” Two sets later, Dr. Dre joined Anderson .Paak (as well as drummer Sheila E.) for “Still D.R.E.” and the ever-appropriate “California Love.” Also, Dawes welcomed Stephen Stills and Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth,” and Stills hung around when buddy and bandmate Graham Nash joined for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Teach Your Children.”

John Fogerty popped up with The Black Crowes for Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” while Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash joined the rock band to cover Led Zeppelin’s “Going to California.” Jelly Roll welcomed Travis Barker on drums to cover Bob Seger’s “Hollywood Nights”; and Sting returned to the stage to join Stevie Wonder for “Superstition” and “Higher Ground,” which also included Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea on bass.

And that’s just what wasn’t on the stacked lineup in advance. We also got P!nk covering Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin, Lady Gaga debuting the one-night-only new song “All I Need Is Time,” Joni Mitchell bringing the emotional weight with “Both Sides Now” and much more. 2025 Grammys Predictions: Who Will Win Big In Hip-Hop/R&B? | Billboard Unfiltered

In today’s episode of Billboard Unfiltered, Billboard staffers Trevor Anderson, Kyle Denis, Carl Lamarre and Damien Scott predict who will win big at the 2025 Grammys, discuss Snoop Dogg and Nelly performing during Donald Trump’s inauguration and more.

Trevor Anderson: 

I don’t think Snoop needs a bag that bad. He was just getting paid a gazillion to be on the Olympics coverage.

Kyle Denis:

This guy’s been a cancer to the culture for a long time. Has really emboldened some of the worst parts of incel culture and hip-hop conversation over the past couple of years. It’s been f–k you for a long time, it’s time to get him out of here. 

Carl Lamarre:
