How ya like that? BLACKPINK announced their world tour and we have the details.

Jisoo:
I love our members’ confidence.

BLACKPINK has announced their long-awaited comeback to the stage with a massive 10 city world stadium tour. They are hitting London, Tokyo, L.A., New York, Paris, Barcelona and so much more. Jennie told us this about the tour in her cover story. She said:

Jennie:
“It’s going to be the most powerful [versions] of ourselves that anyone has seen.”

Tetris Kelly:
And Jisoo said this to me when we chatted.

Jisoo:
Yeah, I think last year, as each member focused on individual activities, we all grew a lot. We listened to a lot of music and tried doing things on our own, gaining experience. Now as we come together for this year, I feel like we’ll be able to return with an even bigger and more spectacular presence. Everyone’s excited about it, and we’ve been sharing ideas. We’ve already done a lot of preparations for this year!

Tetris Kelly:
We can’t wait. I was at both the Coachella shows for you guys, so I’ll be at this tour to scream in the front row, you got to look for me. The tour kicks off on July 5.

One incredible experience, sensory overload. You know you’re gonna get to hear the entire ‘Millennium’ album from start to finish, as well as some of our greatest hits and our new single. There might be some new adaptations of things. And oh, we haven’t told them about — we haven’t told them about that yet, but yes, well, make sure you pack something all white.

The Backstreet Boys are heading to the iconic Vegas Sphere in July, and we were lucky enough to chat with the fellas about their new single and album and what they’re bringing to the futuristic venue.

Us, our families and our friends, lots of fans. One incredible experience, sensory overload. Yeah, we, you know, doing the ‘Millennium’ tour back in ’99 was such a like incredible moment to be in the round, to do a show like that, that no one had really ever done before, to now being in the most state-of-the-art, advanced, sonically overwhelming, visually outstanding venue on the planet, and to be the first pop band to be in there as well, and to commemorate 25 years of our biggest record, you know, you’re going to get to hear the entire ‘Millennium’ album from start to finish, as well as some of our greatest hits and our new single “Hey.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s Very Sweet Week, From ‘SNL50’ With Paul Simon to a Dolly Parton Duet

Sabrina Carpenter started the month of February by winning her first two Grammys ever, and as it turns out, she was just getting started.

Last week, Carpenter graced the cover of Vogue for the very first time — earning praise from Madonna for her Marilyn Monroe-inspired photo shoot that recalled Madge’s own Vanity Fair spread from the early ’90s (“Is this a Valentine’s present to me?”). Then first thing Friday, she dropped the deluxe edition of her Short n’ Sweet album that included a remix of her Billboard Hot 100-topping “Please Please Please” with none other than Dolly Parton.

Then on Sunday night, Carpenter got not one, but two looks on the blockbuster Saturday Night Live 50th-anniversary special, opening the show alongside Paul Simon with “Homeward Bound” and then joining a Domingo sketch alongside Bad Bunny and Pedro Pascal. Whew.

On the new Pop Shop Podcast, Katie & Keith are talking all about Carpenter’s big week and recapping all the music moments on the SNL50 special.

Kendrick Lamar takes over the top 10 of the Hot 100, but will he hit No. 1 again?

Tetris Kelly: 
The Grammys followed by the Super Bowl see some influence on the charts. This is the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 for the week dated Feb. 22. SZA and Kendrick are up to 10, “Pink Pony Club” also makes its top 10 debut. Shaboozey is down to eight, as is “APT.” to seven, and “Birds of a Feather” to six. “”Squabble Up” is back up to five while last week’s No. 1 is at four. “TV Off” jumps to three, as “Luther” rises to a No. 2 peat. And returning to No. 1 is Kendrick Lamar with “Not Like Us.”

And after Kendrick performed his Drake diss track “Not Like Us” on the world’s biggest stage. Drake went in even more on the new album. We were on the field and behind the scenes with the creators to find out the real story of Kendrick Lamar’s epic halftime show at Super Bowl 59.

For this year with Kendrick Lamar, we announced him the first weekend of the season. We already have a set playground for them to play in. So when they come with their ideas, they’re not coming with staging ideas that can’t fit through the tunnel. And then shortly after that, his creative team, Dave Free, Mike Carson, a few weeks later, came to us with the initial seeds of what they wanted to do narratively.

In today’s episode of ‘Billboard Unfiltered,’ Billboard staffers Kyle Denis, Damien Scott, and Angel Diaz react to Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show, highlighting the best and controversial moments, discussing Ye’s X rants and more.

It’s hard to wrap that as a fan. I can’t imagine doing that in a leather jacket  on the field, under the lights.

I don’t know if I can sit through two years of the most ridiculous rants ever and cluttered albums for 30 seconds of one great verse that reminds me of ‘College Dropout.’ I can’t do it anymore.

Well this weekend, we had the Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring Kendrick Lamar. The performance featured SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams and Mustard. It was a very ‘GNX’ heavy set list. He started off with an extended teaser of the unreleased track from that album, but then quickly went into “Squabble Up,” which then gave into “HUMBLE” and “DNA,” some older classics. He brought out SZA for “Luther” and “All the Stars.” Closed things off with “Not Like Us,” featuring a very funny sh*t eating grin, of course, and closing with “TV Off.” But we got to talk about the response of this show. It’s officially broken the record for the most watched halftime show of all time, over 133.5 million viewers. What are your thoughts, guys?
