Hey y’all, I am so excited to let you know that I have won a Billboard Music Award for top Christian album award for my record My Jesus. I am so excited. I’m so grateful. This is such an honor. Thank you, the Lord, so much. The songs have impacted so many lives across the world and I’m so grateful that the Lord has used this record to bring glory and honor to his name. Thank you guys so much. Thank you, Billboard, again. I love y’all.

Mark Ronson accepts the top soundtrack award for Barbie: The Album at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards Presented by Marriott Bonvoy.

Mark Ronson: Thank you to the Billboard Music Awards for recognizing Barbie for top soundtrack. It was such an honor to work on this project. It was basically a dream job working with Greta Gerwig and some of the greatest artists and songwriters around, and maybe even more exciting was just seeing how the fans took the music to heart. Going to see the movie in the theaters and watching people singing along, I mean, it was such an incredible thing, the way that the music and the film just became this, this wonderful thing together. I have to thank, of course, Atlantic Records and Warner Brothers and Mattel, but this very beautiful gold microphone is just for me.

Brandon Lake: Billboard, what’s up! It’s Brandon Lake, and I’m just so incredibly honored to receive this award. This past year of my life has been the best year of my life. And it’s just … it’s amazing to know that these songs are going out and impacting lives all across the globe. I’m honored to be able to get to do what I do. And it’s moments like these that are just … it’s a moment to celebrate all that God’s doing and knowing that He takes these simple things that we create with Him and breathes on them and just chooses to use them in a huge way to lift people’s spirits, to give them faith. I’m honored to receive this award. Billboard, thank you.

After the music is made and turned in, you know, you’ve got a lot of a lot of marketing people and promotion people and publicity and artist management that all come together and make sure this music gets to you guys.
