This is the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 for the week dated August 17. Dropping to 10 is “Too Sweet.” Teddy slips to No. 9, as “Please Please Please” moves up to 8 and Billie climbs to a new No. 7 peak. Chappell Roan also hits a new high, as “Million Dollar Baby” stays locked at 5. “Espresso” at 4, “Not Like Us ” at No. 3, and “I Had Some Help” at 2. And hanging on to the No. 1 spot for a fifth nonconsecutive week is Shaboozey. Zedd Announces ‘TELOS’: Running Through His Hottest Collabs | Billboard News

After nearly a decade without an album release, Zedd has just announced his third album ‘TELOS.’ To celebrate this announcement, we’re taking you back and reviewing all his most popular songs, featuring iconic singers like Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Foxes and more.

If you make music from the heart, then it’s timeless. There’s no expiration date. So I’m not worried about that.

Zedd gave us another taste of his third album, ‘TELOS,’ which boasts songs like “Lucky” featuring Remi Wolf and “Out of Time” featuring Bea Miller, which they performed live at Lollapalooza. It may be his first album in nine years, but since he released “Clarity” and “True Colors,” he’s not only gotten jacked, he’s dropped some major bops as well. Here are some of Zedd’s hottest collabs. “The Middle” with Maren Morris is one of Zedd’s longest-charting No. 1s. It’s so good, they collabed on “Make You Say” too. But his highest-charting Hot 100 hit was “Break Free” with Ariana Grande. He’s also charted with the help of Hayley Williams, Hailee Steinfeld and his onetime boo Selena Gomez. But he’s got some other hits you may not have heard if you haven’t been following the mega DJ. Zedd & Katy Perry’s “365” scratched the surface of the Hot 100, while his collab with Kehlani is a hidden gem for some. Three years ago he dropped a bop with Griff, and he’s got some bangers with the boys like Shawn Mendes and Liam Payne. But you can’t have a list of Zedd’s biggest collabs without including the one that most discovered the DJ from: “Clarity” featuring Foxes won Zedd a Grammy and he’s been unstoppable ever since. Here’s Our Dream Cast for Britney Spears’ Biopic

Britney Spears is reportedly the latest star to document her life via biopic.

According to Variety, Universal Pictures landed the rights to the pop princess’ best-selling memoir The Woman in Me. The book chronicles Spears’ rise to fame, her relationship with fellow child star Justin Timberlake — which included her getting pregnant and having an abortion during their time together — as well as her life under a highly restrictive 13-year conservancy.

The Woman in Me quickly became a best seller. In the day following its arrival in October, Spears stated the book was “the highest selling celebrity memoir in history” within its first day on shelves.

Wicked director Jon M. Chu and Marc Platt are reportedly leading the film’s development. Spears also took to X earlier this month to reveal that she’s been working on a “secret project” with Platt. “Excited to share with my fans that I’ve been working on a secret project with #MarcPlatt. He’s always made my favorite movies … stay tuned,” she wrote.

Lawrence O’Donnell opened the Thursday night broadcast of his MSNBC show, The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell with a fiery takedown of his network and other outlets. O’Donnell blasted the media for their handling of Donald Trump and failing to fact-check the presidential candidate’s statements with immediacy

O’Donnell aimed his opening monologue on Donald Trump’s recent news conference from his Mar-A-Lago residence which aired in full on several networks and dominated the news cycle in ways that the Trump campaign has scrambled to do in the passing weeks since Vice President Kamala Harris has hit the campaign trail.

In what many described as a rambling and disjointed affair, Trump riffed and aimed attacks at Vice President Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, while rattling off several debunked claims and bizarre statements. At one point, the former president stated that a speech delivered in front of the White House on January 6, 2021, was larger than Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech in 1963, which was categorically false.

About the news conference, O’Donnell said, “It would be hard to find a sentence in what Donald Trump said today that did not include at least one lie. Some of the networks tried to play catchup with fact-checking after Donald Trump finished speaking, but that, of course, is way too late and utterly useless. No network even attempted to fact-check every lie Donald Trump told.”

It didn’t end there as O’Donnell added,” “Many of the falsehoods Donald Trump spread today in his responses came from that vast well of stupidity that takes up most of his brain. The stupidest person who has ever won a nomination for president stood there in front of those reporters and said his opponent isn’t smart enough to do what he was failing at right in front of those reporters.”

O’Donnell shared on his personal X account that he went off the intended script, speaking from the heart about the matter as he’s done repeatedly in his time in his post. You can see his reply on X and the video below.

When it comes to Gracie, Benson Boone, Lim Young-woong and Justin Bieber were no match for her. Gracie has been in the biz for six years, has two albums in her catalog, the latest dropped in June. She has 21 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 3 million followers on the ‘gram. Earlier this year, she was nominated for her first Grammy for best new artist.

Fuerza Regida’s Unstoppable Reign on the Charts | Billboard Explains

Fuerza Regida has dominated the Top Latin Albums, Regional Mexican Airplay and various other charts. Let’s take a look at their hits that have them on the rise!

Fuerza Regida is unstoppable. With the release of their new album, Pero No Te Enamores, we’re taking a look back at their biggest chart achievements. This is Billboard Explains: Fuerza Regida’s Rise on the Charts.

Fuerza Regida earned its first Billboard chart entry, and top 10, when “Radicamos En South Central” debuted at No. 35 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart in August 2018. The song later peaked at No. 10, becoming the group’s first top 10 on any Billboard chart. The song was the first of 16 entries and eight top 10s on Regional Mexican Airplay. Among those, three hit No. 1, including “Bebe Dame,” with Grupo Frontera in March 2023 for three weeks.

“Bebe Dame” was a hit for Fuerza. The song reached No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs and also earned them their first and highest charting title on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 25 in January 2023. The group has nine entries on the Hot 100, including “Sabor Fresa,” which peaked at No. 26 in July 2023.

Over on Top Latin Albums, Fuerza Regida has scored six top 10s. Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada became their only No. 1 on Top Latin Albums for three weeks between April and May of 2024. Del Barrio Hasta Aquí is the group’s longest leading album on Regional Mexican Albums. It debuted at No. 1 in July 2019, where it held for 18 weeks.
