Martin Lawrence is back in theaters alongside his Bad Boys co-star Will Smith, but a recent appearance of the actors had fans worried about the state of the comedian’s health. Martin Lawrence spoke about the moment in a recent interview and assured those concerned fans that he’s in optimal health.
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were on the set for Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning as part of the press run for their newest film, Bad Boys: Ride Or Die, which Smith and Lawrence both declared as the best of the four films to emerge from the franchise. Early on in the interview, host Ebro Darden mentioned the pair’s press stop in Mexico City and Los Angeles in where fans thought Lawrence didn’t look the best.

Martin Lawrence, taking the question about the fans’ concern for his health from Ebro, said, “I’m fine, I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed. I’m glad to be waking up every day. I’m all good. No need for people to be concerned.”
Other topics covered was Smith’s return to the scene after the Oscars incident and, of course, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Martin. Both men gave one another praise for being Black sitcom stars on television during a time where that wasn’t always a thing.
There was also a fun segment where Peter Rosenberg asked about The Fresh Prince of Bel Air‘s theme song and how Quincy Jones conceded to Smith’s suggestion after some early struggles.

It’s been a few years since Will Smith alienated a chunk of his fanbase when he slapped fire out of Chris Rock during the Oscar Awards in 2022. But are those the same fans willing to let bygones be bygones and support him at the box office?

We shall find out as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will once again reconnect to bring a brand new installment to the hugely popular Bad Boys franchise which dropped it’s first trailer for the film just this Tuesday (March 26). In the new upcoming Bad Boys: Ride or Die, we find Detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) on the run from the law as they’re being framed by some powerful people who made sure their Captain Conrad Howard (Joe Pantoliano) died a “dirty” cop.

With authorities on their tail and a powerful cartel in their way, Lowrey and Burnett go on a mission to not only clear their names but also that of their dearly departed captain. Looking like they’re in the latest sequel to the Fast & Furious saga, the two men find themselves duking it out with bad guys everywhere from a military transport helicopter to the streets of Miami. And of course we get a shot of Will Smith running through highway traffic in a tank top with a gun in his hand. That must be in his contract for these movies.
Check out the trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die and let us know if you’ll be checking for this when it hits theaters on June 7th in the comments section below.

Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett’s next hilarious, action-packed adventure has a release date.
Will Smith has graciously recovered following the infamous Oscars slap incident and has been furiously working on films. One of his most anticipated projects, Bad Boys 4, the following up to the highly successful film Bad Boys 4 Life, also starring Martin Lawrence, has officially wrapped and is coming sooner than many thought.

Taking to Instagram, Smith wrote, “WRAPPED! Nothin’ but Magic every time I’m with my guy. See y’all June 7 for @BADBOYS 4!!”

In follow-up posts, the rapper/actor shared more behind-the-scenes photos from the fourth film in the famed Bad Boys film franchise, showing Grammy-award-winning artist John Batiste visiting the set while they were filming.
In the caption for the post, using his comedic charm he wrote, “@jonbatiste came to see Me & @martinlawrence on our last day of shooting @badboys. I don’t remember what I was talkin’ about but there was a whole lotta Hand-Talkin’ goin’ on!”

In another post, Smith paid tribute to the city of Miami, which has been the locale for each of the three films and will continue to be in Bad Boys 4.
“It was only right we shoot @BadBoys 4 on the streets where it all began. Mil gracias, Miami!! Te amo ❤️ Happy 305 day,” Smith wrote.

What Will Bad Boys 4 Plot Be?
Hoping to recapture the box office magic of the last film, Adil El Arbi, and Bilall Fallah returned to sit in the director’s chair. We’re not sure about the next film’s plot, but we most certainly know that Mike Lowery’s love child will somehow be involved, and Marcus will be once again contemplating a well-deserved retirement.

We can’t wait to see the first trailer.

The Emmys were indeed very Black this year, and if you tuned in, you got a treat when the cast of the iconic Fox sitcom Martin hit the stage.

Before hitting the stage, Martin’s cast members teased that something big was coming on television’s biggest night. Forty minutes into the show, the award show that aired on Fox, Sunday night, January 15, Martin Lawrence, Tichina Arnold, Tisha Campbell, and Carl Anthony Payne II hit the stage to present.

It wasn’t a typical awards presentation, and it had that Martin flavor we all love from the classic sitcom episodes that play every night on BET and VH1.
The trio did a bit where Payne II, in character as Cole, believes the trio is there to accept an Emmy, not give one out, leading Martin, Pam, and Gina to correct him hilariously.
In the middle of the bit, Campbell said the one thing fans of Martin have been screaming about for years, even well after the show’s final episode.
“Carl is not all the way wrong, you guys. I mean, we should have won an Emmy during our run,” Campbell said, receiving a large applause from the audience.
Immediately after, Lawrence presented the Lead Actor award in a Comedy Series that went to The Bear’s lead man, Jeremy Allen White.

The Bear as a show had itself a night, winning six Emmys, including Allen White’s Lead Actor win, Best Comedy, Comedy Supporting Actress Ayo Edebiri, Comedy Supporting Actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Directing For A Comedy Series and Writing For A Comedy Series.
HBO’s hit drama Succession also had a big night with six wins, followed by Netflix’s limited series Beef, which won 5 Emmy awards.

A roughly 2-minute teaser trailer was shown, and in it, Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven is performing some gruesome kills. Russell Crowe is in the film and will play the father of Sergei Kravinoff. It was also revealed The Rhino is the antagonist in the film, and in a clip, Alessandro Nivola, who is playing the villain in the movie, skin can be seen changing into rhino skin.
The trailer also featured a brief shot of Sergei holding up his signature fur costume that Kraven wears in the comic books.

Attendees saw 14 minutes of the highly-anticipated animated sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Per IGN, the footage showed a grounded Miles Morales defying his parents’ orders to stay in his room to hang out with Gwen Stacy, aka Spider-Gwen.
The two young heroes swing through Brooklyn before stopping and talking about saving dimensions from collapsing, the possibility of dating each other, and how dangerous that could be for the both of them.
The footage ends with Gwen and Miles at a festival, with Gwen leaving and Mile’s mother showing up to comfort her son, giving him confidence and support for his next mission.

Bad Boys 4
We knew Bad Boys 4 was on the way, and now we know the film is currently in production. Will Smith and his co-star Martin Lawrence appeared a Cinemacon virtually from the film set.

Lawrence told the audience the film was in its fourth week of shooting, with Smith adding he was “hyped” and “excited” about what he and the rest of the crew have been working on.
Of course, Lawrence threw in some comedy relief, adding, “glad they weren’t there because they’re being paid to be on set.”
