Drop everything: Rihanna just announced a new Fenty Beauty mascara — and we’re already obsessed. The Anti singer took to Instagram on Wednesday (June 21) to show off the latest product from the artist’s beauty brand and gave us a little ASMR in the process.

The video starts off with her holding the black tube of mascara in front of the camera while moving the brush up and down in the tube before applying it to her lashes. Immediately you can see her lashes lift, giving the viral TikTok mascara a run for its money.

“I just want to keep putting it on too, ’cause it’ll look like a fake lash when I’m done,” she said in the video.

The mascara is available wherever Fenty Beauty is sold, including FentyBeauty.com, Ulta and Sephora for less than $20. It’s already garnered close to five stars on Fenty Beauty with reviewers praising its ability to give “long defined eyelashes,” which the “Love on the Brain” singer only confirms in her video.

“And yes, they’re real, they’re real lashes,” the star added at the end of the clip after applying the product to both eyes.

Keep scrolling to watch the full video and shop the Hella Thicc Mascara.

If you’re looking to snag an under $20 tube of mascara that’s Rihanna-approved and will leave your lashes looking “Hella Thicc,” then add this mascara to your cart ASAP.

Fenty Beauty

Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara $19

Featuring a tapered brush and full-bodied formula, the Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara aims to lift and add volume to your lashes to produce a thicker appearance. It’s formulated with sweat-, humidity- and transfer-resistant ingredients for a long-lasting and fuller look.

Celeb-founded beauty brands are great — especially when we catch the stars sporting their own makeup products. Gwen Stefani got dolled up in GXVE Beauty during a trip to London on Monday (June 19).

After announcing her U.K. tour dates, the punk-pop singer has been promoting the tour and her new single “True Babe,” which is set to be released Friday (June 23).

From Rihanna to Lady Gaga: 6 Artists Who Launched Their Own Beauty Brands

06/20/2023

The “Just a Girl” singer made sure to keep fans updated on her London activities through a series of posts on social media, and we couldn’t help but notice her makeup choice. In a video Stefani posted on Instagram, she announced her arrival in London while cutting to various angles of her hair, outfit and, most importantly, blue eyeshadow from GXVE Beauty.

“So I heard true babe [sic] is trending on Twitter,” she captioned the post. “So excited [for you] to hear the full song this friday!!!”

Check out the full video below.

Rather than slather the liquid eyeshadow onto her entire lid, the singer decided to sport a sharp cat-eye look in the glittery neon blue shade (she may have also used the GXVE Beauty creamy gel eyeliner in metallic cobalt blue). You can currently shop the Paint It Up cream eyeshadow on Sephora and GXVE Beauty.

Sephora

Grab a tube of the Paint It Up cream eyeshadow in one (or all) of the seven shades — including two matte colors. The formula is not only buildable but includes ingredients that aim to be crease-proof, smudge-proof and fade-resistant for up to 24 hours.

Now that nostalgic trends are in (think jelly shoes, bucket hats and even flip phones) sporting an ’80s-inspired blue lid is stylish again. Whether you choose to recreate Stefani’s look or want to come up with your own styles, this creamy eyeshadow features a lightweight formula that’s vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.

For years, Ariana Grande was usually seen in a signature makeup look that included a thick, winged eyeliner and plump lips. Ariana Grande can not only say she’s a Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singer, but also a founder of a PETA-approved beauty brand.

When it comes to makeup and skincare, it goes without saying that Grande is a trendsetter. As we become more aware of what goes into our products (and on our skin), making sure our beauty products are clean has been a trend that isn’t going away anytime soon.

The Best Tarot Cards: Ariana Grande Doesn’t Leave Home Without This Magical Deck

05/30/2023

Grande, though, has made it clear that her brand R.E.M Beauty is not just something she does on the side of filming Wicked and recording music. In fact, she takes pride in her beauty brand and even uses the products herself, as she showed in a recent TikTok debuting her tarot cards.

Soon, her products will be featuring PETA’s logo and be listed among PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies list of products not tested on animals. This marks a major milestone, as the brand becomes one of more than 6,000 around the world to have banned all animal tests on their products, according to PETA. While R.E.M. beauty joins the growing list, there are still beauty brands that continue to test on animals, which PETA emphasized in a statement.

“Every cosmetics brand needs to break free from useless tests on animals, and thanks to Ariana’s fabulous cruelty-free line, R.E.M. beauty is now PETA-approved and leading the way,” PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said.

For those new to the brand or if you just want to stock up on your favorites, Grande’s makeup products are available at Ulta Beauty or on the R.E.M. beauty website.

Here are just some of the bestselling R.E.M. beauty products that you can add to your cruelty-free makeup collection.

Soft Pinch Lip Oil retails for $20 and will be available on Thursday (March 30) at 12 a.m. PT. But if you don’t want to wait that long, you can buy it right now on the Sephora app.

Earlier on Wednesday, Gomez hosted a Rare Beauty event celebrating the launch of the heavily anticipated lip oil. The Only Murders in the Building star, who is currently in New York filming the third season of the Hulu series, posed for photos with beauty influencers during the event.

The lip oil has been two years in the making, Gomez revealed in an interview with Elle.com. “The formula took two years to develop because it’s such a unique texture in a variety of shades—getting the right shades is always really important in our development process.”

Gomez introduced fans to the new lip oil earlier this week. “Meet me new Rare Beauty Soft Tinted Lip Oil,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s not your traditional lip oil – it’s an innovative lip jelly that transforms into a lightweight oil giving your lips the perfect pinch of color and shine. I love how comfy it feels – it’s never sticky.”

Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Lip Oil is made with jojoba and sunflower seed that “instantly hydrates and nourishes for soft, smooth lips that feel moisturized all day.” The tinted lip oil is available in serenity (warm rose), affection (muted berry), happy (cool pink), joy (muted peach), delight (rose brown), hope (nude mauve), wonder (rose mauve) and honesty (nude brown.)

One of the many beauty essentials that TikTokers can’t seem to stop talking about is a drugstore powder foundation that you can buy on sale for less than $12.

L’Oréal Infallible Fresh Wear Powder Foundation has been going viral on TikTok for the last two years. Videos on the cult-favorite powder foundation have racked up 175.7 million views on TikTok alone — and we’re not even counting the number of Reddit threads, YouTube videos and posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

This low-cost body makeup offers up to 24 hours of longwear foundation in pressed powder form. As the brand’s “most lightweight, breathable, longwear foundation” L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Powder Foundation mattifies without the cakey residue.

It’s also waterproof, heatproof, sweatproof, suitable for every skin type — even acne-prone skin and oily skin — and available in 20 different shades including sienna, ebony and deep amber in addition to lighter shades like pearl, porcelain and ivory.

The powder foundation retails for $15 on L’Oreal’s website but you can save a few bucks by ordering it at Walmart for $11.99 and $12.79 at Ulta and Amazon.

L’Oréal Paris is no stranger to going viral. In January, the beauty giant’s Telescopic Lift Mascara became the talk of TikTok after a beauty influencer’s post about the mascara sparked controversy.

In other L’Oréal news, the brand has retooled its best-selling True Match Foundation. The new and improved L’Oréal True Match Super Blendable Foundation is made from a vegan, alcohol-free, oil-free, fragrance-free and non-comedogenic formula and available in more than 24 shades.

Grammy, Emmy and Oscar-winning singer H.E.R stars in a new commercial for True Match Super Blendable Foundation. The Bay Area native signed on as a global ambassador for L’Oréal Paris last year.

Korn Follow the Leader Pin Set $18

This isn’t Korn’s first collab celebrating Follow the Leader. Last year, Korn lead singer Jonathan Davis released a sold out “Freak on a Leash” pet product line that included dog leashes and more.

Follow the Leader, Korn’s third studio album, made its debut on August 18, 1998 and featured hit singles “Freak on a Leash” and “Got the Life. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 selling 268,000 units in its premiere week and has since sold more than 14 million copies worldwide.

Korn’s new album, Requiem Mass, arrives on Feb. 3. The project is a live version of 2022’s Requiem LP and will feature songs from the band’s concert at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles last year.

In June, Korn will head to Memphis to take the stage at Bonnaroo 2023. The four-day festival will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Zeds Dead, Liquid Stranger and Odesza.
