Over the weekend, the internet was buzzing with word that Lil Durk and J. Cole just gave us the song for the summer. And luckily for us, the cut came with a video that captured the vibe that we need going into the hot months of 2023.

In their visual to “All My Life,” Lil Durk and J. Cole kick it on the porch on a sunny day with a gang of kids who sing the hook as Cole and Durk break down the obstacles they overcame to get this far in life and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. It was a pretty dope feel good video.

Back in NYC, Jim Jones doesn’t seem like he’s done with the life just yet and for his clip to the Sen City and Dub Aura assisted “Gang,” the trio pull a jux and run up in a cap store to make off with whatever they got stashed in the back room.
Check out the rest of today’s drops and some joints you might’ve missed over the weekend including work from NBA YoungBoy, Bailey Zimmerman and Dermont Kennedy, Albee Al and more.

The fund awarded a $50,000 scholarship to two students from Chicago who’re set to enroll in Howard University in Washington D.C. this fall. “I feel it’s my responsibility to reach back to the kids—especially those that are growing up in my community,” says the rapper in a press release. “These kids have to be our biggest investment as they’re our future leaders. They are destined for greatness and I’m encouraging others to join my team’s efforts to help pave their way.”
In addition to the scholarships, Lil Durk also donated $250,000 directly to Chicago-area students who are receiving Howard’s Graduation Retention Access to Continued Excellence (GRACE) Grant. This fund is to assist students with financial support to alleviate financial burdens so they can stay in school and graduate on time. “For me to boost them up and get them to the next level, it was like a no-brainer,” he stated in an interview with Billboard. “And this scholarship was a super-no-brainer for me. For me and my team, having my own scholarship is like a Grammy.”
The “Hellcats and Trackstars” artist also was the headliner for Howard’s Springfest over the past weekend and paid $100,000 towards a trip taken by 20 high school students from his hometown to visit the university. “We are incredibly grateful to be the recipients of such generous support from Lil Durk, the Neighborhood Heroes Foundation, and Amazon Music,” adds Cynthia Evers, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs at Howard University in the press release. “Not only did they lend their support to the premier event run by and for Howard University students, but they also left a lasting impression by offering a gift that will continue to benefit Howard students for a long time to come.”

Lil Durk appears to be a man trying to mend a broken heart after his relationship with India Royale has reportedly come to an end. The Chicago rapper offered a stern warning to any of his ex-girlfriend’s suitors and Ms. Royale certainly confirmed that their union is over.
Over the weekend, Lil Durk took to Instagram and spilled out his heart towards India Royale well letting it be known he’s ready to fly heads over her despite the fact she said she moved on.
“Catch y’all in her comments Ima break them jaws,” Durk wrote in one of his IG Story posts.
This has been a consistent focus of Durk stemming back to last month when the rapper shared Valentine’s Day wishes that went largely ignored. Doubling down on declaring his love for Royale, Durk went on a lengthy tirade about getting his lady back by any means.
“Let me just look crazy Cause GM Ya’ll She not dumb, Durk began, apparently addressing that he was the problem in the relationship.
Durk added, “I fucked up. She played a small part. She is really a good girl who live life. I am a good guy, good husband. I just never listened to her pain back when she was pregnant with Willow in the belly.”
Willow is the daughter Durk shares with Royale.
He continued, “So, I ain’t perfect. But I am perfect for you. I love you, and I am all ears whenever we get back into a relationship. You saved my life with you, Willow, and big Sky; out of all my kids you was there.”
India Royale already seems to be moving on after images surfaced of her on vacation alongside a mystery man in a pool shot. Somebody warn main man about his jaw.
On Twitter, plenty of comments are popping up about Lil Durk and India Royale. Check them out below.

7. We couldn’t confirm this one.

Rapper Lil Durk is no longer facing criminal charges in Georgia over a 2019 shooting in downtown Atlanta, after prosecutors said they were choosing not to pursue the case.
In a court filing reviewed by Billboard, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office told a state judge that it would exercise “prosecutorial discretion” to drop the charges against the Chicago rapper, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks.

“The facts of this case have been reviewed and, although it appears that probable cause existed for the defendant’s arrest, the decision of the District Attorney at this time is not to prosecute,” the DA’s office wrote in the filing, made Oct. 17 in Fulton County Superior Court.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office did not immediately return a request for comment from Billboard.

Durk, 30, surrendered to Fulton County authorities in May 2019 on charges that included attempted murder. Prosecutors said Durk and the late rapper King Von were involved in a shooting that February near the popular Atlanta restaurant The Varsity, which left a victim with a non-fatal gunshot wound to the thigh.

At the time, the Chicago rapper declared his innocence. “Once I heard, I immediately came back,” he told local outlet WSB-TV. “I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to run from.” Durk also released a track in an attempt to clear his name:  “Look up at the judge, can’t look, stay makin’ up lies for sure/ I’m a innocent man for sure, it is what it is for sure/ Nobody gon’ ride, had a warrant so I can’t hide.”

Von (real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett) was later killed in a shooting at an Atlanta nightclub. He was 26 at the time.

Durk’s attorney, Manny Arora, did not return a request for comment from Billboard on Monday (Oct. 24), but in a statement told WSB-TV, “While it took three years for the State to make the right decision, in the end the right decision was made and Mr. Banks can finally put this event behind him.”
