Billie Eilish has done a lot of things, but one thing she’s never experienced is getting dumped.
In a discussion conducted by Lana Del Rey for Interview, the 22-year-old pop star revealed that she’s never been broken up with — but you shouldn’t be too quick to label her a “heartbreaker,” either. “I’m not going to get too in detail, because I’m going to be rude, but I’ve never been dumped,” she said in the article published Thursday (June 13). “And also, I’ve never been broken up with. I’ve only done the breaking up.”
“I think when people hear that, they’re like, ‘Oh, all you do is break hearts,’” she continued. “Sure, but that doesn’t mean that people are totally innocent. It means that I was like, ‘Oh, let me get the f–k out of here.’ Or it means things just weren’t right.”
“I don’t know how many times I’ve really been in love,” Eilish added. “I think there’s different versions of love, and I think that you can be in love and it might not be deep.”

The nine-time Grammy winner was most recently romantically linked to The Neighbourhood’s Jesse Rutherford. The pair dated for about seven months before splitting in May 2023.
Eilish has since released her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. All of its tracks charted on the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release, led by the single “Lunch,” which entered at No. 5.
On “Lunch,” Eilish sings directly about having feelings for women for the first time in her career. “I’m lucky that we’re in a period of time that is so much more welcoming in a lot of ways,” she told Del Rey of the track. “It’s still a big deal, but it’s not. The thing that’s been frustrating and gives me a lot of anxiety is the feeling of needing to explain myself all the time.”
“It’s so weird to grow up and change in front of the world,” she added. “The craziest part is discovering things about myself and then suddenly, everyone else knows, and I don’t even have a second to think about how it makes me feel.”

Season 4 of The Boys is almost here. The long-awaited fourth season of the Prime Video superhero series drops Thursday (June 13).
The Boys takes place in a world where superheroes are just as big as celebrities and politicians. The show, which is executive produced by Seth Rogen, offers a satirical look into what happens when superheroes abuse their powers instead of using them for good. (“The Boys” are a group of vigilantes on a quest to stop the corrupt superheroes and expose the truth about the multibillion-dollar conglomerate The Seven and Vought, which funds and manages the superheroes and keeps their dirty secrets under wraps.)
Season 2 premiered back in September 2020 and the spin-off anthology The Boys Present: Diabolical debuted on Prime Video last year. Season 3 premiered last June.

Just days after Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar confirmed their romantic relationship, Cazzu is speaking out and thanking fans for checking in on her. On Wednesday (June 12), the Argentine singer and rapper (born Julieta Cazzuchelli), Nodal’s former partner and mother of their 9-month-old daughter Inti, shared just how much this situation has been for her to handle, without mentioning her ex or his new love interest.
“It is very overwhelming to be news everywhere for something like this,” she began her statement, which she posted to her Instagram Stories. “I always tried to avoid this side of the media exposure so mercilessly, and today to live it in this great dimension without having done anything to have so much attention and for my name to roll everywhere, it is an immense shame. But I take responsibility for my choices and also for what I have no control over. That is why I give you these words.”

She continued: “I feel the need to let you know that I AM OK, going through it in the best way possible. I choose to step away from networks for a while to detox and focus on my baby, who is my priority, and on my work while everything calms down out there. Life is not totally beautiful or totally horrible, nor are people completely 100% good or bad, there are always grays and shades, but the important thing is to breathe and resist with love the necessary processes and learn. Thank you for the concern of so many. Now let’s turn the page, let’s live and let live.”
Nodal and Cazzu announced in May that they had ended their relationship after two years together. In a joint statement, both posted on Instagram: “The time has come to share that Julieta and I are going our separate ways,” Nodal wrote, which Cazzu reposted on her own account. “Our love and respect for each other remains strong, especially in our role as parents to our wonderful daughter, Inti.”
Less than a month later, Nodal and Aguilar confirmed they were a couple. On Monday (June 10), in an exclusive statement to HOLA!, Aguilar shared, “It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other. Because when we let go, we returned even closer.”
A day later, Nodal opened up in a video statement on Instagram. “First of all, Julieta is a person I love and who has my respect for life. We are public figures, we are artists, but we are not masters at life,” he said. “Love doesn’t always work. Our cycle together ended in the best possible way. It was a love that gave us the most precious gift that could have come to us in life, the most beautiful thing we could have done together, which is Inti, my daughter, who I will always love, who I will always take care of. And in that relationship there will never be a third party, there was never any infidelity.”

One of the most significant chapters in Boston’s musical history was the emergence of jazz in the early 20th century, where black musicians were at the forefront. Wally’s Café Jazz Club in the South End became synonymous with jazz movement for music lovers in Boston.
The iconic venue quickly became a platform where both local artists and touring musicians could showcase their skills. Legendary jazz musicians like Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, and Charlie Parker graced Boston stages throughout the 1900s.

As decades passed, the influence of black musicians in Boston expanded beyond jazz. During the ‘60s and ‘70s, the city witnessed the rise of funk, disco, and soul.
Donned the “Queen of Disco” early in her career, Boston native Donna Summer established herself as one of the most impactful musicians from the area. During the 1970’s alone, she topped the Billboard Club Cchart eleven times after releasing classic tracks like “Hot Stuff,” “Love to Love You Baby,” and “MacArthur Park.”
Bell Biv DeVoe is an R&B ensemble from Boston, Massachusetts. As individual members of New Edition launched their own careers, Bell Biv Devoe decided to continue as a trio. They released their debut album Poison in 1990 which debuted on the Billboard Hot 200 Album Chart. That same summer, the single “Poison” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Recently, hip-hop has emerged as a dominant force in Boston’s music scene, with black artists at the forefront of the movement. Acts like Guru, Cousin Stizz, and Van Buren Records have worked tirelessly over the last 20 years to establish a regional sound in the city.
Boston bred rapper Cousin Stizz made his mainstream debut after the release of his mixtape Suffolk County, earning over 12 million streams on SoundCloud alone. His first-ever Billboard chart appearance came from the 2017 single “Cousin Stizz.”
The rise of black hip-hop artists serves as a voice for the underrepresented black & brown communities in Boston. Many Hip-Hop artists in Boston have been using their voices as a catalyst for social change, inspiring a new generation of artists to push boundaries and challenge the status quo.
The influence of black musicians on the Boston music scene cannot be overstated. Their creativity, innovation, and resilience have enriched the city’s cultural fabric, shaping its identity as a hub of musical excellence and diversity. As Boston continues to evolve, the legacy of these artists will continue to be celebrated, inspiring future generations to keep the pride of Boston’s music scene alive.
