Kelsea Ballerini is laughing off rumors about her relationship with Chase Stokes.
In a since-expired Instagram Story from Tuesday (March 7), the country star joked about her romance by posting a photo hand-in-hand on the Outer Banks actor’s lap backstage at Saturday Night Live, quipping, “idk seems staged. probably pr.” (Earlier in the week, she had shared another snap with her new love from Studio 8H, writing simply, “Hi chase stokes” — a cheeky reference to his Instagram handle.)
On the March 4 episode of NBC’s late-night sketch series, Ballerini performed two songs — “Blindsided” and “Penthouse” — off her new divorce-centric EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat and its companion short film, which tell the singer’s side of her split from ex-husband Morgan Evans.
In the wake of that divorce, Ballerini revealed in a sit-down with the Call Her Daddy podcast that she met Stokes the old-fashioned millennial way: by sliding into his DMs. “I was ready to open back up,” she said. “I just felt, why not? I’ve never really dated; I don’t know how it works. I’m like, ‘Let’s just put ourselves out there — let’s just vibe.’ And it’s been fun.”
For his part, her ex recently addressed the former couple’s split with his own song “Over for You,” which Ballerini called “really opportunistic” in the same interview. “I felt really used in that moment,” she said at the time. “And again, his healing journey is his healing journey, I respect that. But publicly exploiting it feels a little nasty to me, before it’s final.”
Ballerini has previously addressed speculation that her romance with the actor is for publicity. The singer mentioned the rumor on TikTok by showing a screenshot of a message sent to gossip account DeuxMoi claiming her recent appearance with Stokes at a college football game a “PR play.”
“I know, I know. Stop reading, stop looking,” Ballerini says in her TikTok, gesturing to the message. “But what is happening, guys? What? Let’s not do this, you know?”

To celebrate Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary, Rémy Martin is releasing the last of its mixtape-influenced bottle series with an ode to the DJ and an interactive street art exhibit.

The storied cognac brand issued a press release announcing the VSOP Mixtape Volume 3 Limited Edition, the last collectible in a trilogy series. The bottle is designed with a flair, accompanied by a QR code that will allow patrons to find out about the composition of the lqiuor. It’s the precursor to a larger interactive augmented reality project being launched, known as the Rémy Martin Mixtape Street Art Museum.
The traveling exhibit will feature eight iconic masters of the turntables imagined through the artwork of illustrator Xia Gordon. The DJs being honored are Kool DJ Red Alert, DJ Spinderella, DJ Cocoa Chanelle, DJ Yella, DJ Marley Marl, DJ Shortcut, and DJ Jay Illa. In collaboration with the team at Fred & Farid New York, Gordon will create eight murals in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and San Francisco. Each mural will depict the journey and career of each DJ.
Those who see the murals and scan the QR code embedded in them can win a chance to attend a Rémy Martin Mixtape listening event sponsored by iHeart Media in the respective city. The Universal Hip-Hop Museum is also a co-sponsor of the series which will take place through July 2023, further showcasing the cognac brand’s commitment to the museum’s mission of preserving Hip-Hop culture.

Nick Cannon let slip earlier this week that he’s been expecting, and on Tuesday (March 7), the stork officially arrived with his latest bundle of joy … in the form of a new game show!
The host of The Masked Singer confirmed the news by dropping the official teaser for Who’s Having My Baby With Nick Cannon. Hosted by his close friend Kevin Hart, the series will premiere sometime this spring on E! and, according to the clip, seems to involve trotting out female contestants in front of Cannon for some sort of prize … and actual pyrotechnics.
“You’re gonna get some contestants that wanna have your baby,” Hart explains to Cannon, who then proceeds to jokingly pull an “Eenie, meenie, minie, mo” to choose among the ladies. The rest of the rules are unclear, but as the network cheekily promises in the tease, it’s sure to be the “mother of all game shows.”
Cannon’s already incredibly busy on the daddy-duty front, considering he now has 12 kids with six different women, including Dem Babies with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He’s welcomed all five of his youngest kids since last July alone — from Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi, Onyx Cole with LaNisha Cole, to Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell, Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa and, as of December, Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott.
In February, the Drumline actor fielded a question about possibly having even more children down the line, telling Entertainment Tonight, “God decides when we’re done, but I believe I definitely got my hands full.”

Gigi Hadid opened up in a new interview over the weekend about the realities of coparenting daughter Khai with Zayn Malik.
In a sit-down published in The Sunday Times March 5, the supermodel said she’s able to balance work and motherhood by scheduling modeling commitments “when Khai is with her dad.”
Though she didn’t mention Zayn by name, Hadid made it clear that successful co-parenting remains a top priority for her, even if she and the former One Direction-er are no longer linked romantically. “That she can be with both parents makes me very happy,” she told the U.K. outlet of her 2-year-old daughter’s relationship with her famous dad.
Hadid and Zayn previously dated off and on starting in 2015, with the model memorably starring in the music video for Zayn’s debut solo single, “Pillowtalk.” They later appeared on the cover of Vogue together in August 2017, nearly three years before Hadid announced she was pregnant in the spring of 2020. Khai was born the following September, but the couple’s relationship ended shortly after the little one’s first birthday in October 2021, when Zayn was reportedly involved in an altercation with Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid.
The singer pleaded no contest to four charges of harassment against the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, and was ultimately ordered to complete anger management and domestic violence programs while serving 360 days of probation.

“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life,” he said in a statement posted to his Instagram Story. “In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again.”
