After taking a brief social media break in late February in the midst of reports of her alleged feud with Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez posted an urgent message on her Instagram Story on Friday (March 24) imploring fans to cool down the heated rhetoric.
The note began with the news that Bieber — who is married to Justin Bieber, an ex of Gomez’s — had recently reached out to the Only Murders in the Building star to let her know that she’d been receiving death threats and “such hateful negativity.”
“This isn’t what I stand for,” Gomez said unequivocally. “No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
In February, Gomez used TikTok to announce that she was getting off social media for the foreseeable future. “I’m good. I love who I am, I don’t care. I’m big, I’m not, I don’t care. I love who I am,” she wrote at the time. The announcement came the same day Gomez unseated Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on Instagram with more than 380 million followers. She has since surpassed 400 million followers on the platform.
Gomez was back on social media a week later with an important message in the midst of the swirling rumors about the rumored feud with the model. “Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health,” the singer-actress commented on TikTok. “My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love.” The note came shorty after Gomez took Jenner’s Insta crown, with the lip-kit mogul seemingly getting pulled into the purported drama after Gomez shared in a Feb. 22 TikTok that she’d over-laminated her eyebrows.
That was followed by Jenner sharing a photo with longtime pal Hailey holding the camera close to her own professional-looking eyebrows. Selenators didn’t think it was a coincidence, but Jenner said it was. “This is reaching,” the Kardashians star commented about the situation on a TikTok. “No shade towards selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.”
The Grammy- and Emmy-nominated singer-actress then replied in agreement to Jenner’s comment and said she was “a fan of Kylie.” Gomez then left comments on fan-made TikToks shading Bieber. “I love you,” she commented to one who slammed the model for being a “nepo baby” and a “mean girl.”
Then, after a resurfaced video of Hailey pretending to gag at the mention of Taylor Swift’s music made the rounds, Gomez replied, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.” When the comments became overheated, Gomez said on Feb. 23 that she was taking an internet break. She said on TikTok: “I’m 30, I’m too old for this.”
Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía appeared to announce their engagement in the sweetest (and most creative) of ways. The news was revealed in new music video for “Beso” from their three-track joint EP RR, out Friday (March 24).
The visual features a joyous collage of beautiful moments the couple has spent together during their three-year relationship traveling the world. At the end of the clip, when the music fades at the 3:15 minute mark, viewers see a teary-eyed Rosalía flaunting her diamond ring while holding the box on her other hand. “Oh my god, and my mascara is all runny now. I love you,” she says in a shaky voice before kissing Rauw.
Representatives for Rosalía declined to confirm the news. A representative for Alejandro did not immediately respond to a message from Billboard Español.
The EP marks the first time that the couple has recorded songs together, after months of hinting at a potential collaboration. In November, the Spanish hitmaker teased that the pair had been in the studio together without saying too much. We’ll see, we’ll see,” she said.
Cardi B congratulated the couple on her Instagram Stories, reposting a screenshot of Rosalía wearing her engagement ring. The “WAP” rapper wrote on the Story, “So adorable almost made me cry.”
In an interview with YouTuber Ibai on March 20, the starry-eyed couple complimented each other’s unique style and approach to music while they spoke about their upcoming release. But the sweetest part of it was their clear love for each other.
“The men I’ve had around me in my live were very emotionally unavailable,” Rosalia said. “You were the first time for me that I didn’t feel that. I felt that you were not afraid to love and be loved.” Rauw responded by leaning in for a kiss.
Rauw has tattooed the name of Rosalía on his abdomen with her actual writing, and she has both of their initials — RR — inked on the sole of her foot.

Doja Cat is a new woman. In a series of tweets, the 27-year-old rap star shared that she’s days into the recovery process following a breast reduction and liposuction procedure.
The musician first updated fans on March 20 by simply tweeting that she’d gotten work done on her chest, which many of her followers automatically assumed meant she’d augmented her breasts to be larger. However, Doja quickly clarified that she’d actually done the opposite.
“nope. smaller,” she replied to one fan, revealing in another tweet that her new bra size is 32C.
The “Kiss Me More” artist also gave an update on how she’s feeling post-op, tweeting that she “feels ok.” “My thighs hurt a lot if i move too much,” she added. “but im healing really fast.”
And when one commenter suggested that “Lipo is when fat is transferred from 1 area to another,” Doja countered: “No it is not, dear. That is called a fat transfer. I did not get a fat transfer.”
She also told fans in a NSFW tweet on March 21 that her breasts look really “good” now.
The Grammy winner’s updates come about four months after she revealed in late November that she’d be having surgery “this winter.” “I just want my [breasts] pulled up cuz some of my tops don’t fit the way i want them to,” she tweeted at the time.
Between then and now, Doja made a couple headline-making appearances at Paris Fashion Week — at one point wearing a jaw-dropping look for which every visible inch of her skin was covered with red Swarovski crystals — before attending the Grammys in February.

To clean your vinyl records, grab a microfiber cleaning cloth to remove the dust and static from the record. Next, dampen a clean microfiber cloth (preferably with distilled water) and lightly wipe the record surface in a circular motion — but steer clear of the middle of the record. Next, add a splash of Simple Green (the company recommends a 1:30 ratio) to a bowl of water and clean the record following the same circular motion as the earlier steps. Lastly, grab a dry microfiber cloth to dry the vinyl record (you can also use compressed air to blow away any residual dust).
After your record is clean, all that’s left to do is enjoy the music! Just make sure to check the needle on your record player so that there’s no leftover dust particles that could distort the sound. Jennifer Hudson took to social media on Tuesday (March 14) to wished Common a happy birthday amid chatter the pair may have sparked a romance.
“Team Jhud pls help me wish one of the brightest lights, a Chicago and hip hop legend, the one and only @common a very happy birthday on today!” the Jennifer Hudson Show host captioned a March 13 Instagram post alongside a smiling photo of herself and rapper.
Fans were quick to speculate about the pair’s prospective relationship status in the comments. “Is that a ‘Soft Launch Insta Offical,’” one wrote using a trio of winking emojis, while another questioned, “Is this confirmation or naw[?]”
“Oh so he BEEN in the picture huh,” a fan page speculated. A separate follower commented, “I don’t know but I heard on TMZ that Common is your new bew.” (Back in late February, the gossip site reported that Hudson and Common were spotted going out on a dinner date at Malibu hot spot Nobu.)

On her eponymous talk show, which has been renewed for a second season by Warner Bros. Discovery, Hudson has recently welcomed both DJ Khaled and Paula Abdul. The We the Best producer dished on picking the title for his most recent album God Did after receiving a particularly disappointing phone call, and the original American Idol judge looked back on Hudson’s controversial elimination from the reality juggernaut in seventh place back in Season 3.
For his part, Common most recently made his Broadway debut at the end of 2022 in Between Riverside and Crazy at Second Stage Theater.

March 10 marks National Mario Day, a celebration of the beloved, overall-wearing video game character who has been around for over 40 years.
Though Mario Day started in 2016, the Mario character was first introduced in the Donkey Kong arcade game in 1981. Video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto created Mario after he was unable to secure licensing rights to use Popeye. The character was originally called Jumpman before the name change, but according to other reports, he was also named “Ossan” (a Japenese word for “middle-aged guy”).
The Mario known and loved by millions was named after Mario Segale, a Seattle real-estate developer who rented a warehouse to Nintendo back in the ’80s.

Mario became the star of his own video game when Super Mario Bros. was released in 1985. The success of Super Mario Bros. expanded Mario’s reach into other kinds of gaming genres, such as puzzle games like Dr. Mario and role-playing games like Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi.
Since his debut, Mario has appeared in more than 200 video games.
