Food Network announced its upcoming slate of new programming on Wednesday (May 17), including two new series starring Selena Gomez. Adam Levine is celebrating Behati Prinsloo’s birthday by reminding the world just how gorgeous his wife is.
In honor of the Victoria’s Secret model’s 35th trip around the sun, the Maroon 5 frontman took to his Instagram Story Tuesday (May 16) to share a topless photo of Prinsloo holding one of the three kids they share together. Taken from behind, the picture cuts off the Calirosa Tequila co-founder’s face, showing just her elegant back, low-cut jeans and white bikini bottoms.

On her left hip, Prinsloo carries one of her babies, whose face is also out of frame. She and Levine welcomed a third child earlier this year, and are also parents to daughters Dusty Rose, who’s 6, and Gio Rose, 5.

“Happy birthday baby,” the “Moves Like Jagger” singer captioned the photo.

On her Story, Prinsloo shared glimpses of how she’s spending her big day. She started her morning with a breakfast of birthday doughnuts, enjoyed some cake later on and spent time with Levine — who holds a bundle of “Happy Birthday” balloons in two photos shared by the model.

“Overwhelmed with the birthday love!!!” she wrote. “THANK U ALL.”

She and the 44-year-old musician have been going strong since tying the knot in 2014, save for a hiccup in September when Instagram model Sumner Stroh claimed she had been involved with the musician. He denied having an affair, but apologized for exchanging “inappropriate” messages with Stroh.

Prinsloo has spent much of this year supporting Levine in Las Vegas, where Maroon 5 has been playing shows as part of a 16-date residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

Last week, it was announced that the band is planning to drop its first single since 2021, “Middle Ground,” on Friday (May 19). Four days later, Levine will return to The Voice to perform the track live for the first time.

It’s been nearly 15 years since Snoop made an appearance on Martha Stewart’s cooking show in 2008 to make mashed potatoes.
The next year, the Doggfather came back to The Martha Stewart Show to make brownies, and he joked with the lifestyle maven about the “most important part” of the recipe.

The chemistry between the legendary rapper and the former fashion model turned lifestyle queen was instant, and they have been paired up in everything from television specials to commercials ever since.

As Stewart is making headlines as the eldest model to grace the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue (and looking good, too) People magazine created a timeline to celebrate our favorite besties.
2008: Snoop and Martha Meet on The Martha Stewart Show
“What an odd couple we were,” Stewart remarked years later during a 2019 NBC News interview about their first meeting. In that same interview, Snoop added that “cooking with Martha just seemed like the right space to be in.”
December 2009: Snoop Comes Back to Bake Brownies

The two joked about a missing ingredient that the audience all seemed to know about. They even made the brownies green for the “environment.”
Over the next couple of years, the rapper would regularly tweet a picture of his infamous appearance on the show including on May 8, 2013 when he added, “Ayo @marthastewart watchu bakn !!”

From wet to dry with no heat damage? Dyson is changing the hair game with the Dyson Airstrait, a two-in-one straightener that dries and straightens your hair without using heat.

How does it work? The Airstrait utilizes “precise directional airflow” to simultaneously dry, straighten and protect your hair from heat damage while cutting down on overall styling time. Airflow is accelerated through 1.5mm apertures, creating two high-velocity downward blades of air projected at a 45-degree angle to form “downward facing precision air jets” that dries hair while it straightens.

“Having a strong understanding of how to manipulate and realize the potential of powerful airflow is fundamental to the performance of the Dyson Airstrait straightener,” James Dyson, Dyson’s founder and CEO, said in a news release. “The expertise, which we’ve gained over the last 25 years, is what has enabled us to deliver our first wet to dry straightener, with not hot plates, and not heat damage. Delivering the ease-of-use that people love about straighteners but with high-velocity air blades, saves time, maintains hair strength and achieves an everyday natural straight style.”

Dyson’s Airstrait flat iron retails for a splurge-worthy $499.99, but investing in healthy hair will pay off in the long run. (It also makes a good Mother’s Day gift.) Powered by Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor and equipped with high- and low-airflow speed settings, the Airstrait has an intuitive airflow that senses when your hair is between the two arms of the flat iron, and switches to low-air flow when it’s not.

The Airstrait automatically shifts into auto-pause after three seconds of inactivity and restarts when you pick it back up. Other features include a glass bead thermistor that regulates airflow and temperature to prevent heat damage; a high-definition LCD color display screen that shows temperature and airflow and a lock feature to keep the Airstrait closed when it’s not in use.

Available in Prussian blue/rich copper and nickel/copper colorways, Airstrait is designed for all hair types and features “Wet” and “Dry” modes that are pre-set with a special heat and airflow combination for the best styling results. Choose from 175 degrees, 230 degrees or 285 degrees Fahrenheit when the Airstrait is in “Wet” mode. When its in “Dry” mode, Airstrait lets you chose between 250 degrees and 285 degrees Fahrenheit or “boost” mode to up the ante.

Where can you buy the Dyson Airstrait? Although other hair tools such as the Dyson Airwrap are available at major retailers such as Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Nordstrom, Best Buy and Amazon, the Airstrait is currently only available at Dyson.com.

You know what they say: Wu-Tang is for the children. Almost exactly a year after Rihanna and A$AP Rocky‘s son was born, his name was reportedly been revealed to be RZA, a possible tribute to the legendary rapper, producer and Wu-Tang Clan frontman. The revelation comes after the Daily Mail claimed that it had obtained […]

Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin mentioned during a January appearance on the 2020’d podcast that frontman Sully Erna had dated Lady Gaga once upon a time. While Erna remained silent on the allegations, he is now confirming the news and shed some insight on his relationship with the pop star in an interview with Revolver published Thursday (May 4).

“Listen, I really don’t have a lot to say on this topic,” Erna told the publication when asked about the band’s song “Under Your Scars” and Gaga being the inspiration. “What I will tell you is that I have an immense amount of respect for her. I was introduced to her through a mutual friend. We clicked and dated for a hot minute, and there was nothing but respect for each other.”

He continued, “There may be a lot of people in the world that think she’s kooky and crazy because she’s so wild with fashion and things like that, but she knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s an extremely smart businesswoman. And she’s kind and super talented.”

Erna thinks fondly of the time he spent dating Gaga, concluding his comments by saying, “I’m proud to say that I shared some great moments with her. I was able to meet Elton John through her. She’s an incredibly great person and those are some very fond memories for me. And I’ll leave it there.”

Up next for Godsmack is a co-headlining summer tour across the United States with Staind, in support of the band’s recently release LP, Lighting Up the Sky, its final studio record.

“They are becoming adults. They are challenging everything in life, they’re looking at everything and these kids have so much information, so much more than we had,” she told TODAY‘s Hoda Kotb of the kids she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. “They’re thinking about things and talking about life in a different way than I did when I was 15 or 16 years old. I think they’re going to change the world, to be quite honest, and make it so much better.”

Lopez also shed some light on her kids and their relationship with her husband. “They love Ben. He’s a wonderful, wonderful father figure to them as well,” she said, nothing that Affleck’s relationship with his kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner helps him be a good dad to her own kids.

She continued, “He has his own three beautiful children and then there’s us, and he’s fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means and they love him, and they appreciate him, and so do I.”

As for Lopez’s forthcoming album, This is Me … Now, she revealed that her personal growth throughout the years and of course, her relationship with Affleck, largely served as inspiration for the LP. “I’ve grown a lot and I think the albums are really about capturing those moments in time … of falling in love with the love of your life and 20 years later coming back together and trying to capture what this moment was,” she explained. “People are going to feel that in the album.”

Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, was sitting in on the interview in the background and sweetly chimed in, “I knew you’d [Lopez and Affleck] get back together, because I prayed for 20 years.”

Though it’s been nearly 10 years since Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin decided to “consciously uncouple,” the Iron Man actress still has a lot of love for her rock star ex-husband. While dishing on her A-list roster of former flames during the Wednesday (May 3) episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, Paltrow revealed the sweet reason her relationship with the Coldplay frontman still feels different from any of her other romances to this day.

“When I met him, there was a very deep thing there,” Paltrow recalled of first crossing paths with Martin, with whom she shares 18-year-old daughter Apple and 17-year-old son Moses. “And I couldn’t quite put my finger on it because it felt very different than my other relationships.”

“It’s not so much that the relationship itself turned out to be healthier than my other relationships,” the actress continued. “It’s just that I think I had this deep calling on some level. I knew he was going to be the father of my kids, maybe or something. It was a very strong feeling.”

Paltrow first met Martin in October 2002, two months after the release of Coldplay’s breakout album A Rush of Blood to the Head. They tied the knot in December 2003 and were together until 2014, when the pair announced via a joint statement that they’d decided to part ways after more than 10 years of marriage.

“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” they wrote at the time. “We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. … We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.”

On Call Her Daddy, Paltrow also reminisced on how she and the “Yellow” singer were rumored to be dating before they’d even met, simply because she’d been spotted attending one of Coldplay’s concerts. The Shakespeare in Love star had already become a huge fan of Martin’s music, and when they did finally meet backstage at another show, Paltrow recalled that her future husband “was like Tigger the tiger bouncing around.”

“He was just so sweet,” she added. “I met him when he was, like, 25, and I had just turned 30.”

Paltrow, who’s now married to TV producer and writer Brad Falchuk, also played a game of “Brad or Ben,” for which the Goop founder had to compare the talents of her two movie star ex-boyfriends Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. When asked about which “B” name was better in bed, Paltrow said, “Brad was like the sort of major chemistry love of your life, like at the time, and then Ben was, like, technically excellent.”

“God bless J. Lo and everything she is getting over there!” Cooper responded, referencing Affleck’s now wife.

The Weeknd is connecting with his Ethiopian roots and honoring his family with his new Samra Origins coffee brand and product line in partnership with Blue Bottle Coffee, which was announced Wednesday (May 3).
Named after his mother Samra, Samra Origins pays homage to the Canadian-Ethiopian singer’s heritage and motherland’s standing as the birthplace of coffee. The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) and Samra developed the first Samra Origins blend with Blue Bottle’s head of innovation & quality, Benjamin Brewer. Brewer selected some of Ethiopia’s best coffees to craft three blend variations, which The Weeknd and Samra tasted before selecting the offering most similar to the coffee Samra brews at home. Blue Bottle then worked with The Weeknd to carefully fine tune the blend and create a distinct flavor profile, which not only captures classic notes of fresh fruit and bright florals but upholds centuries of traditions originated and perfected by Ethiopian coffee farmers.

“Ethiopian culture is an important part of my identity and I’m proud to work alongside the Blue Bottle Coffee team to shine a light on Ethiopian traditions, values, and of course, coffee,” said The Weeknd in a press release. “Growing up, I watched my mother perform Buna Tetu, a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. This sensory experience helped shape my understanding of community and taught me to always honor my roots.”

In an exclusive statement to Billboard, he added: “Samra Origins is a true passion project of mine that Blue Bottle matched and understood as we developed the products together. I hope the result ignites curiosity about Ethiopia’s people and motivates others to give back to communities in need.”

And to honor The Weeknd’s philanthropic efforts, Blue Bottle Coffee will donate to his XO Humanitarian Fund, which he launched in March 2022 alongside the United Nations World Food Programme. Since its launch last spring, the XO Humanitarian Fund has raised and pledged $5 million to provide food and support to millions of people experiencing hunger across the globe.

“We are grateful to have The Weeknd and Blue Bottle Coffee’s steadfast support as we work to feed families in hunger hotspots worldwide,” said Barron Segar, president and CEO of World Food Program USA, in a statement. “Private sector partners like Blue Bottle Coffee are critical in generating both public awareness and funding to save the 43 million people on the brink of starvation across 51 countries.”

Samra Origins will launch this month with a limited release of Exceedingly Rare Ethiopia Wolde Faye Koricha COE #7, which anyone can purchase for $65 (per 100g tin) exclusively online at samraorigins.com. Starting Wednesday, Blue Bottle guests can sign up for the online waitlist to be the first to know when Samra Origins officially drops next Tuesday, May 9.

“Ethiopian coffee is truly in a class of its own and the country holds a special place within our Blue Bottle community,” said Karl Strovink, CEO of Blue Bottle Coffee, in the release. “Since Blue Bottle Coffee’s inception in 2002, we’ve sourced coffee from Ethiopia. In 2023, Ethiopia is still consistently among our top origins by volume. I’m excited that we’re extending our commitment there with Samra Origins so we can continue to share the best of Ethiopian coffee and support our network of producers in the country.”
