Congratulations are in order for Gucci Mane and his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir! The couple announced that they had welcomed their seck d child, a daughter, on Thursday (Feb. 9).

“Im so thankful that my baby girl is here and she so pretty and healthy 2/8/23 7lbs 2oz,” the rapper shared alongside a carousel of photos, the first of which is of himself kissing Ka’oir as she cradles the baby from her hospital bed. Mane — born Radric Davis — also revealed the baby girl’s name in the caption: “ICELAND DAVIS,” adding the sweet hashtag, “Daddyprincess” along with two red hearts and a crown emoji.

Model Ka’oir also shared the happy news on her own Instagram account. “Our little princess is here! Beautiful & Healthy!” she gushed, revealing the little one’s full name: Iceland Ka’oir Davis.

Baby Iceland is the couple’s second child together after son Ice Davis, who was born in December 2020. Mane also shares 15-year-old son Keitheon with ex-girlfriend Sheena Evans. Meanwhile, Ka’oir has three additional children from prior relationships as well.

The comments section in Mane’s post were flooded with well wishes for the couple and their bundle of joy, with producer Zaytoven writing, “CONGRATS. MY GUY,” while Big Joe added, “God bless.” Busta Rhymes and 2 Chainz also added their own congrats, with the former commenting, “Nothing more Powerful than the beautiful black family. Congrats to you both,” and the latter writing a simple, “Congrats cuz” to his “Good Drank” collaborator.

Late last year, Gucci dropped a powerful video for “Letter to Takeoff” his tribute to the late Migos member who was fatally shot in November at a Houston bowling alley. The two were not only friends, but longtime collaborators on songs including “Us vs. Them,” “Yay,” “Wop Longway Takeoff,” “Hell U Talking Bout” and more.

Get a look at Gucci Mane and Ka’oir’s first photos with baby Iceland below.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have been very open about the difficulties and heartbreaks they’ve had to endure to have more children, including fertility treatments and the nightmare of losing a pregnancy at 20 weeks. And in an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the “All Of Me” singer — who welcomed a daughter named Esti with the model in January — spoke about why he and his wife feel it’s so important to be candid about their highs and lows when it comes to such a sensitive topic.

“We’ve been open about it because we’ve had challenges, we’ve had to use IVF to conceive our children,” Legend told Hudson in the Thursday (Feb. 9) episode. “We’ve had the pregnancy loss. I think a lot of families go through that, but a lot of people were happy we talked about it because they didn’t feel so alone.”

“A lot of people go through this, and they go through it in silence,” he added. “I think Chrissy and I talking about it made people feel better about that journey.”

Legend and Teigen welcomed baby Esti Maxine — named after the Voice coach’s grandmother and great-grandmother, he told Hudson — on Jan. 13, giving 6-year-old daughter Luna and 4-year-old son Miles a little sister. “They’re being so good with her,” the 12-time Grammy winner told the host of his two older children.

“We were worried ’cause they seemed a little jealous when Chrissy was pregnant, and I was worried that they wouldn’t be excited to welcome her home,” he continued. “But they’ve exceeded our expectations of how loving and excited they are. They’re truly thrilled to be older siblings now.”

Esti’s arrival came a little over two years after Legend and the cookbook author had to say goodbye in 2020 to baby Jack, whom they lost when Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant. At the time, the couple explained to the public that they’d experienced a miscarriage. In September, however, Teigen shared that she’d actually had an abortion, something she didn’t fully realize until nearly two years later.

“When I was pregnant with Jack — John and my third child — I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions,” she said at Propper Daley’s “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit. “It became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive, and that I wouldn’t either without any medical intervention.”

“Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion,” she continued at the time. “An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.”

“As we celebrated the one year anniversary of our Ellen Campus this past week, we took a moment to recognize a very special person who left us too soon,” read an Instagram post from the Fund. “tWitch brought light to so many and was a wonderful friend to @ellendegeneres In his honor we planted this tree so he will be forever remembered on the campus.”

The post featured a photo of a memorial plaque honoring the dancer/DJ and co-executive producer of the Ellen show who died by suicide on Dec. 13 at 40. “In memory of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss and the light that he brought to the world,” it reads, noting that the tree was planted this month. An accompanying picture of the sapling showed it in an expansive greenspace with towering mountains in the background.

DeGeneres inaugurated the Ellen Campus in 2022 to expand the study of gorillas by the fund established by famed primate researcher Fossey in 1967.

Days after Boss’ death a devastated DeGeneres shared some memories of her friend and TV compatriot. “Right now what I want to do is remember all the love and laughter I had with tWitch. He brought so much joy to my life. I know he brought joy to yours too. I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite moments with him. If you want to you can also share yours,” she wrote on Instagram using the hashtag #ILovetWitch.

A king deserves a royal court. Which is why on Tuesday night (Feb. 7), a galaxy of stars congratulated basketball legend LeBron James for becoming NBA’s all-time scoring leader when he broke Kareem-Abdul Jabbar’s three decade-long record. During a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Los Angeles Lakers’ home Crypto.com Arena, James passed Jabbar’s career total of 38,387 points after weeks of breathless anticipation of his crowning achievement and everyone from Rihanna to Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars gave him his props.

As soon as the dust settled — and Jabbar ceremonially handed over a basketball to the new scoring champ in a touching mid-court ceremony after LeBron scored his 36th point of the night on a step-back jumper — some of James’ biggest admirers took to social media to congratulate him on his epic feat.

In a compilation video from the NBA, Kendrick gave the new scoring sire high praise, saying, “From the time you went to the league when you had the doubters and the naysayers and people that think you wouldn’t take it this far you proved ’em wrong, dawg.” Upcoming Super Bowl LVII halftime performer Rihanna added, “I am so grateful to witness this moment in history… my favorite thing about being a LeBron James fan is just watching you prove yourself over and over again against all odds and all doubt. Thank you for repping for all of us. Keep striving for greatness always, and congratulations King James.”

Snoop Dogg modeled his Lakers jersey and said, “it’s always fun watching a Laker get it done.”

Drake called it a “legendary night in NBA history” in a video in which he appeared to be standing on a ball court in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio. “To honor that I had to come back to the place that it all started… Every journey has its beginning,” Drizzy said as a green screen collapsed behind him, revealing that he was actually in a nightclub in Miami.

John Legend tweeted, “Congratulations @KingJames!!!! This man has been in the spotlight and burdened with the highest expectations since he was a teenager. And he’s done nothing but exceed those expectations and build a historic legacy. What an incredible accomplishment!,” while Bruno Mars offered up a champagne bottle emoji.

Timberlake tossed a GOAT emoji into a tweet in which he marveled, “on a step back too!,” while Wayne wrote, “Kongrats King!! Glad to say I’ve shaken your hand brudda. God bless you and the fam and the homies.”

Watch the video and check out some of the other congratulatory tweets below.

Wow, never in my lifetime did I think I would see two NBA athletes score over 38,000 points! I still remember when my Showtime teammate, the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, broke the record. Brendon Urie is officially a father! The former Panic! At the Disco singer and his wife, Sarah Orzechowski, have welcomed their first baby together, Billboard can confirm. TMZ was first to report the news.

Though the Urie family has yet to reveal the baby’s name or gender, the arrival of the bundle of joy comes shortly after the singer revealed that Panic! At the Disco would no longer continue.

“Well, it’s been a hell of a journey…,” Urie wrote via Instagram on Jan. 24, thanking the band’s fans for 20 years of dedication and loyalty. “Growing up in Vegas I could’ve never imagined where this life would take me. So many places all over the world, and all the friends we’ve made along the way. But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin.”

In the statement, Urie announced that he and Sarah were expecting their first child. “We’ve been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some of you may have heard… Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon!” he shared at the time. “The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting.”

“That said, I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family,” he added, “with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more.”

Urie and Orzechowski’s baby arrives nearly 10 years after the couple tied the knot. The pair got engaged in 2011, and married in April 2013.

It’s all love in Perry-Bloom-Kerr-Spiegel blended household. Miranda Kerr just took to TikTok to celebrate her ex-husband Orlando Bloom’s fiancée, Katy Perry, a few days after the pop star presented an award to the Victoria’s Secret model at the 2023 G’Day USA Arts Gala earlier this week.

Kerr posted clips of her embracing Perry on the red carpet for the gala, set to a popular TikTok audio that says, “Me? Obsessed with you? Yes, yes I am.”

“When you love your son’s step mom,” the KORA Organics founder captioned the TikTok.

Kerr shares 12-year-old son Flynn with Bloom, whom she was married to from 2010 to 2013. Four years after their split, she married Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, and the couple have two kids together. Meanwhile, the Pirates of the Caribbean star has been engaged to the “Firework” singer since 2019 and shares 2-year-old daughter Daisy with her.

Perry also paid tribute to Kerr following the G’Day USA event, posting videos from the red carpet and awards ceremony on Instagram. “Loved celebrating my fav Aussie Aussie Aussie (oi oi oi!) & sister from another mister,” the American Idol judge captioned her Jan. 30 post. “Congrats on the honor, I love our modern family … also thank u for introducing me to celery juice I just thought they were those veg stick things I stir me Bloody Mary’s with.”

On hand to present Kerr with an Excellence in Arts award at the gala, Perry shed some light on the two women’s relationship and family dynamic during her speech. “Some of you might be confused about why I’m introducing Miranda,” she said onstage, according to People. “That doesn’t play into the antiquated narrative of ex-wives and new wives. And yes, it’s true, most of the media would like to see us mud wrestle … but we are here to lead by love because Miranda is love.”

“I’m so grateful for our modern blended family,” Perry added. “It’s like I gained another sister, one with whom I usually sidebar from the main family chat and agree with.”

It’s Groundhog Day! Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Thursday (Feb. 2), which means there are six more weeks of winter left. And if you’re not exactly thrilled about that, watching Groundhog Day might just boost your mood.

Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell and Richard Henzel star in the ’90s comedy about a man trapped in a personal time warp where every day is Groundhog Day. Murray plays Phil, a grumpy weatherman sent to Punxsutawney, Penn., to report on the town’s annual Groundhog Day event.

The film delivers a nice mixture of bleak and hilarious moments that encapsulate that sinking feeling of another month and a half of winter. But there’s a not-so-hidden life lesson within the comedic plot, because Phil eventually learns how to approach life “like there’s no tomorrow.”

Groundhog Day will be airing on AMC all day today and on Saturday morning. (See the schedule here.) If you don’t have cable, stream Groundhog Day with a free trial to AMC+ or at AMC.com. You can also subscribe to a streamer that offers AMC and other cable channels such as Hulu + Live TV, Direct TV and Sling TV.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you have the option of streaming Groundhog Day on Prime Video for free through AMC+.

‘Groundhog Day’
$free with 7-day trial to AMC+

For those who don’t want to watch through AMC+, Groundhog Day is streaming as a video-on-demand rental ($3.99). You can rent or buy a digital copy of the film on Prime Video and other streamers like iTunes, Google Play and Vudu. Groundhog Day is also available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Not familiar with Groundhog Day? The annual tradition was brought to the U.S. by German settlers. The first Groundhog Day event was held in Punxsutawney on Feb. 2, 1887.

As for the movie, Danny Rubin initially wrote Groundhog Day to land a meeting with producers in hopes of getting other potential work. Director Harold Ramis worked with Rubin on retooling the script, but Murray wasn’t the first choice to play Phil. Michael Keaton, Tom Hanks and Chevy Chase all turned down the role before Murray signed on.

Groundhog Day grossed $105 million at the box office and went on to become one of the highest grossing films of 1993.

It’s hard to imagine anyone not knowing who Harry Styles is nowadays, but when the 29-year-old singer first met Ashton Kutcher, the No Strings Attached star thought the pop star was just another guy at a house party.
In a Tuesday (Jan. 31) video interview with Esquire, Kutcher was asked about his favorite karaoke song — Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” — something that prompted him to recall the time he and wife actress Mila Kunis obliviously met the “As It Was” singer for the first time at a karaoke bash.

“There’s an extraordinarily well-known singer, that is maybe the best singer today, that we happen to be neighbors with,” Kutcher began without naming this famous neighbor. “She was throwing a karaoke party. She gets up and gives this, like, out of this world, bananas [performance], and I’m like, ‘This is so unfair.’”

“Then this other kid gets up and he does this ABBA song. I’m like, ‘Oh my god, this is bananas,’” the 44-year-old actor continued. “So the kid gets offstage, and Mila and I go up to him and we’re like, ‘Man, I gotta tell you something — you’re a ringer. You’re really good. He was like, ‘Thank you, I really appreciate that.’”

When the That ’70s Show costars-turned-couple later raved about the performance to a friend at the party, they realized that the ABBA singer wasn’t just any ordinary karaoke connoisseur. “They’re like, ‘It’s Harry Styles.’ And I’m like, ‘Who’s that?’”

After the friend filled him in on the former boyband star’s claim to fame, Kutcher said he felt “like a jerk.” “He’s a professional singer and we’re trying to tell him he’s a good singer,” he laughed. “And I feel so dumb, so I just really want to say I’m sorry Harry Styles, but you’re really good at karaoke, man. Seriously. Like, really good!”

The singer’s millions of fans would definitely agree with Kutcher’s rave review of Styles, who was just recently honored with a custom banner at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum for his string of 15 sold-out concerts at the venue. One day after Kutcher’s interview was published, the pop star celebrated his 29th birthday.

Kutcher, meanwhile, is gearing up for the Feb. 10 premiere of his and Reese Witherspoon’s new Netflix romcom, Your Place or Mine. He and Kunis also recently returned to their roots and guest-starred on the streaming platform’s ‘70s Show spin-off, That ’90s Show, reprising their respective breakthrough roles of Kelso and Jackie.
