On Wednesday (December 6), Kodak Black was arrested for cocaine possession in Plantation, Florida after cops found him asleep at the wheel of his luxury SUV. The jokes write themselves.
The rapper, born Bill Kapri, 26, was pinched for possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and improperly stopping or parking his vehicle. He appeared before the judge on Thursday (December 7).
WSVN reports that officers approached Kodak Blackâs vehicle after noticing his black Bentley SUV was holding up traffic around 2am on the 600 block of NW 47th Terrace. The officers then found the âVisionsâ rapper asleep behind the wheel. Of course, the cops also noted the odor of marijuana coming from the SUV as well as âcannabis wrapping paper and residueâ per the police report.
But this is when the struggle gets extra real. Reportedly, Black copped to the weed, but then the authorities said they noticed him trying to discard of a white powdery substance. After being searched, the cops found a white substance in a baggie in his pocket that was confirmed to be cocaine.
Kodak Black was famously pardoned Donald Trump in 2020 of his federal sentence for falsifying documents to purchase firearms, and has been continuously singing the former Presidentâs praises ever since. Thereâll be no get out jail free cards now, though.
All jokes aside, it seems like Kodak Black, who had to complete court-ordered rehab before, needs help.

Kodak Black is the focus of a beef between two politicians in Florida, with one declaring him âout of controlâ recently.
Last Wednesday (Nov. 22), Kodak Black became the flashpoint for another politicianâs political attack on a Florida state politician. Richard Ryles, who is running for the Palm Beach County Commission seat, took aim at his fellow Democrat and opponent in the race, state Senator Bobby Powell for honoring the rapper with a proclamation. Ryles aired out his grievances in a statement to The Palm Beach Post.
âAs an African-American, our community is well known for its forgiving nature and faith in redemption,â Ryles said in the statement which was emailed to the media outlet. âAs an African-American man, I do want to see a redeemed Bill Kapri [aka Kodak Black] in his future dealings. Nevertheless, his recent spate of arrests indicate that he has yet to find his moral North Star and may well be spinning out of control due to drug use.â
âMr. Kapriâs past misdeeds are well known and very public, and to provide a proclamation by honoring him for the charitable giving of turkeys, in my opinion, was more harmful than helpful to his potential redemption as a citizen,â the candidate wrote further. Since being pardoned by Trump in one of his final acts as president in 2021, Kodak Black has been exhibiting erratic behavior, most notably in his appearance on the Drink Champs podcast in October where he looked to be highly unstable.
Ryles further criticized Powellâs move to honor Kodak Black, a celebrity who has been highly vocal in their support of former President Donald Trump. âAs a leader within the Democratic Party, I would have thought that Senator Powell would have exercised greater caution than to allow photographs of he with Mr. Kapri outfitted in MAGA gear, head to toe,â Ryles statement continued. Powell would issue a rebuttal statement afterward. âBy Mr. Rylesâ elitist logic, a man is to be strictly judged by a single act, not the totality of his life,â he wrote. âThere is no forgiveness, no second chances, no redemption, just ongoing punishment, the kind that brought us an overpopulation of Black men in prison with no future and no hope.â

Kodak Black mightâve had no problem collaborating with well-known snitch Tekashi 6ix9ine on a song, but that act alone now has Meek Mill rethinking his career title and ready to give up the label of being a ârapper.â
Fans of the Philadelphia rapper took notice of Meek Millâs recent comment on one of DJ Akademiksâ post in which Kodak Black explained why he decided to collaborate with Tekashi on the track âShaka Lakaâ (money of course). Taking to the comments section to express his feelings on the clip, Meek bluntly stated âI damn near donât even wanna be labeled a rapper nomore.â
Meek must feel like being a ârapperâ means the code of the streets gets thrown out the window when it comes to securing the almighty bag.
Heâs not wrong as Kodak explained to N.O.R.E. on a recent episode of Drink Champs that at the end of the day it was all about that cool million he pocketed to get on a track with someone who infamously testified against his old crew and sent many of them to prison.
Saying he immediately agreed to do the song when approached by Tekashi 6ix9ineâs camp, Kodak revealed that another rapper also agreed but backed out of the collaboration after some people convinced him it would be a bad look. Black ainât care what people thought about it, though as he wasnât going to let seven digits pass him by.
âThey f*ck with me because I gave my answer and that was that. Ainât nothing to think about. Thatâs an M homie. One song. Like what the f*ck? I understand the value of a dollar. $100 is still $100. A band is still a band. I donât even know the n*ggas he told on and I ainât even from other there. N*gga, thatâs yâall rat!â
Well, when you put it like that, Kodak. Funny enough on his original verse of the âShaka Laka,â Kodak actually snuck in a 6ix9ine diss saying âIâm so raw I got a rat giving me cheese.â Ultimately the line was removed, but Kodak tried it. Regardless he did the song, got paid a million and didnât lose any sleep over it.
Now Meek Mill doesnât wanna be labeled a rapper anymore.
What do yâall think of Kodakâs collaboration with Tekashi and Meek Millâs reaction to his justification? Let us know in the comments section below.

Kodak Black wasnât pleased with Ray Jâs assessment of his Drink Champs appearance, threatening him via social media Sunday (Oct. 29).
The recent appearance of Kodak Black on the latest episode of the Drink Champs podcast hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, sparked a good amount of commentary on his behavior. It also caused some to express concern, with Ray J being one of the more vocal commenters. âYo somebody need to grab bro and make sure he good,â Ray J wrote in a now-deleted post on Instagram after the episode aired. âThis ainât the interview Nore. We gotta help this dude. I took him to Trump house and he did the most. They were not happy with the experience bc he had no guidance and respect.â He also directly addressed the influential West Coast figure Wack 100. âYo [Wack 100] letâs figure out how we can help this guy instead of watching him self-destruct.â
The words of concern didnât go over well at all with Kodak Black, who expressed his anger through an Instagram Live session. âRay J your little a*s is a b*tch, homieâ he snapped in the video. âI donât need your help, p*ssy-a*s n*gga. Iâm straight. F*ck wrong with you, homie? Beat your little a*s.â The âNo Flockingâ rapper continued to curse out the singer and entrepreneur while walking around a residence, sometimes walking off camera.
âYou had nothing to do with that Trump sh*t,â he continued. You had nothing to do with that Trump sh*t. They be hating that p**ssy-ass n*gga. You just want to go viral. You want to go viral on the street. Talking about you took me to Trump house. Who the f*ck you is? Trump got me out of prison, homie. You think I need you to take me to Trumpâs [house]?â
The reference to former President Donald Trump stems from a dinner meeting that Ray J had with him in March of this year at Trumpâs Mar-a-Lago estate a year after the rapper was pardoned by Trump. Video footage from that event showed Kodak Black, aka Bill Kahan Kapri, meeting Trump who asked him âHow are youâ as the two came face to face, even exchanging a fist bump as they briefly spoke. âIt was the right thing to do,â Ray told Page Six of the New York Post at the time. âTrump pardoned him.â

Kodak Black is apparently still riding with former President Donald Trump, based on his remarks in a new interview.
Rapper Kodak Black was the latest guest on the Drink Champs podcast hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, and his recent comments regarding former President Donald Trump took center stage during the interview. N.O.R.E. brought him up while referencing the pardon that Kodak Black got in December 2020. âYeah, I f**k with that boy. We ainât even gotta talk too much about the sh*t,â he replied.
The âSuper Gremlinâ rapper had been incarcerated after pleading guilty to a firearm possession charge in 2019 after falsifying records on federal forms to obtain those guns in Florida. Trump would grant him a pardon, commuting his sentence. âHe a Gemini like me â his birthday two days after my sât,â Kodak Black continued. âAnd that boy, like, he be vibinâ out here too.â When N.O.R.E. then brought up Trumpâs current financial troubles due to the massive civil fraud lawsuit in New York brought against him and his removal from the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans, he asked if the 26-year-old would assist him with a million dollars. âOf course, nâa,â he replied.
Kodak Black, also known as Bill Kahan Kapri, has been a consistently vocal supporter of the twice-impeached former president. After being released from prison in January 2021, the rapper dropped a new track called âLast Day Inâ, giving Trump a shoutout. âTrump just freed me, but my favorite president is on the money/ All they hatinâ presidents has become evident to me.â
In an Instagram Live from earlier this year, he lauded Trump with praise when comparing him to other Republican candidates for President. âI feel like these people on some other sh*t,â Kodak said. âSo they know like, they gonâ try to get Trump out the way âcause Trump a stand-up ni**a, he a real ni**a. Heâll let a bi**h do anything⌠Trump a real ni**a, man, a soldier.âÂ

Kodak Black fans have began to worry about the rapperâs physical health as the âRoll In Peaceâ artist fell asleep during an IG Live session.
The incident occurred Monday (Aug. 14) while Kodak was streaming live to his millions of fans. With a cup in his hand, he nodded off for a few moments before regaining consciousness and continuing on with the show. Fans in the comments wrote things like âTf,â âKodak leanin’â and âPray for Kodak.â They were obviously concerned that the rapperâs documented use of drugs might be catching up to him as suddenly falling asleep isnât a common occurrence.
The incident comes just weeks after Kodak Black was seen being wheeled into a Broward County, Florida hospital and months after a judge ordered Black to check into a drug rehabilitation center. The man is obviously battling demons, but hopefully they wonât get the best of him as too many rappers these days are dying way before their time whether it be through drug use or violence.
While itâs easy to assume that drug or alcohol use was the main culprit behind his dozing off on IG Live, Kodak couldâve just been hella tired, or maybe he didnât get adequate sleep the night before. Still, given his history, one would think the man has a problem and needs professional help.
What do yâall think couldâve been behind Kodak dosing off during IG Live? Let us know the comments section below.

It seems Kodak Black might have been indulging in some toxic substances. A judge has ordered the rapper to enter a drug rehabilitation program.
As per Vibe Magazine, the Pompano Beach, Florida native was served with some bad news this week. On Tuesday, Feb. 28 Kodak Black appeared at Broward County courthouse wearing a yellow and pink block suit with matching buttons. The Miami Herald reports that the âSuper Gremlinâ rapper apparently tested positive for fentanyl via his most recent urine sample. But his high powered attorney claims that this was really a false positive.
Bradford Cohen, the same legal eagle who successfully negotiated his pardon from prison, says that his client has never tested positive for fentanyl and has sought out treatment for the drugs he has abused in the past. He also theorized that his urine sample might have been jeopardized by a star-struck lab technician who might have mixed up the sample, the paperwork or both. The lab employee testified that an error might have been made during collection.
Judge Barbara Duffy ordered that Black give a hair sample to which he refused, in turn the magistrate ordered him to drug rehabilitation for 30 days. âYou better get it together,â the judge told the Sniper Gang talent. Kodak then thanked her for her time and politely asked if he can have a Jolly Rancher from the bowl at her bench before making an exit.

It looks like Kodak Blackâs freedom is once again in jeopardy as an arrest warrant has been issued for the staunch Trump supporter in his home state of Florida.
According to TheGrio, Thursday (Feb. 23), a Florida judge issued an arrest warrant for Bill Kapri aka Kodak Black after he failed a drug test that he avoided taking for a few days. Earlier this month, Kodak was scheduled to take a drug test Feb. 3, but failed to appear on the day of the test. And when he did turn in a sample Feb. 8, the âSuper Gremlinâ rapper tested positive for fentanyl.
From TheGrio:

Broward County Judge Barbara Duffy issued the warrant and wrote that the rapper had violated the conditions of his pretrial release for an oxycodone trafficking charge from July.
Black had pleaded not guilty to the trafficking charge. His attorney was not immediately available to comment on Sunday.
Since then, Kodak Black has been MIA in the Sunshine State. We wouldnât be surprised if Kodak remains in hiding until Donald Trump wins another term presidential term and grants him another pardon or something. Itâs probably best for Kodak to turn himself in, if for nothing else, to make sure he doesnât end up the latest casualty of fentanyl as itâs been killing off its users at an alarming rate.
What do yâall think of Kodak Blackâs current situation? Should he remain on the run or turn himself into authorities? Let us know in the comments section below.

Another day, another rapper or celebrity sharing their head*ss opinion on Tory Lanez being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Legal expert and frequent court visitor Kodak Black is the latest person with something to say about Tory Lanez being found guilty on all charges.
Like the ridiculous petition started by âfansâ and Lanezâs father, Sonstar Peterson, and other family members, Black also stupidly believes that JAY-Z and Roc Nation have something to do with the trialâs outcome.
Kodak Black Thinks JAY-Z Is A âF*ck N*ggaâ
In an Instagram Live session, the rapper shared his unwanted opinion, chastising the victim in all of this, Megan Thee Stallion, for speaking on the matter while dissing the GOD MC, JAY-Z.
Via HipNMore:
Who advised this sh*t before Christmas? And Jay-Z standing behind this, you a f*ck n*gga homie,â Kodak said, dissing Jay-Z and believing the wild rumors that his company Roc Nation has a big role to play in the case. âAnd Meg, you supposed to be from the streets âŚ. even it was a gunshot on your foot (and not pavement fragments) ⌠I know a b*tch who got shot in the toe, too. I know a female who got shot in the toe. You donât see her talking about sending n*ggas to jail.â He also called Tory a âgood n*gga.â
âThis shit aint right, homie. For real, bro,â Kodak continued. âAnd Tory Lanez a good nigga, broâŚThis shit fu**ing with my Christmas Eve. Everybody shit ainât for me to speak on. But itâs like ni**as aint finna talk about that. Ni**as finna act like this shit ainât never happen. I donât know. I wasnât in the courtroom. But at the same time, if it is some fu**ed up shit going on, ni**as ainât gonna wanna say nothing because of the politics bullshit. And all of this Jay-Z shit. But I donât like that shit nan bit.â
