Lil Durk has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a murder-for-hire plot. After getting pinched in Florida, he is being held without bail.
TMZ reports that the Chicago rapper and several members of his Only The Family (OTF) crew were charged in the murder of rapper Quando Rondo’s cousin. On Thursday (Oct. 24) night, Durk was picked up by the feds and locked up at the Broward County Jail. Bail was not granted.
Per the Chicago Tribune, the members of OTF have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, committing murder-for-hire involving a death and use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death.
The OTF members were arrested for their involvement in a shooting that occurred in August 2022 in Los Angeles that left Quando Rondo’s cousin dead. But the kicker is that the indictment claims that the flights and rental cars that five men were provided with were paid for with a credit card connected to Durk’s record label, Only The Family Records. On August 19, 2022, Quando Rondo and crew were at a gas station in Los Angeles when shots rang out. While Quando wasn’t injured, his cousin Saviay’a Robinson, 24, was fatally shot.
Per the Feds, the 2022 shooting was in retaliation to the murder of King Von in 2020. In November 2020, the up and coming Chicago rapper was shot and killed outside of hookah lounge in Atlanta after a reported skirmish with Quando Rondo’s entourage. Flash forward to August 2023, and Lul Timm, born Timothy Leeks, the shooter who reportedly killed Von, saw the felony murder charges against him dropped.
Since Von’s death, Durk had directed his ire at Quando Rondo, reportedly buying out all tickets to a show to spite the rapper. But murder for hire, allegedly, is a whole other level of spite. Rondo has always maintained the shooting was self-defense.
This story is developing.

Lul Timm, a close associate of Quando Rando who shot and killed Chicago rapper King Von, appears to have evaded serving time for the incident. According to the attorney for Lul Timm, his charges were dropped ahead of standing before a judge for a trial.
XXL exclusively received a statement on Sunday (August 20) from Noah Pins, Timm’s attorney, who said in the correspondence that his client will not face the felony charges connected to the matter.
“The case against Mr. [Timothy] Leeks was dismissed prior to ever being indicted,” a portion of the statement reads.
Lul Timm was involved in a fight between King Von and Quando Rando’s entourage outside of the Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, Ga. A shootout in a nearby parking lot took place shortly after the skirmish, leaving a total of three persons dead in the aftermath.
Timm has been free on bond since March of 2021 but as the outlet notes, he is facing several drug and traffic-related charges dating back to last October.
Asian Doll, the partner of King Von, reacted to the news of Lul Timm’s charges being dropped, writing on social media, “Because the police said Tim ain’t kill him the police did” before deleting the message from the X platform.

FBG Duck, a rapper and reported member of a Gangster Disciples faction, was shot and killed in a brazen afternoon shooting apparently in retaliation to gang-related threats. According to an alleged report from the FBI, slain rapper King Von was behind ordering the hit to the tune of $100,000.
From what we gathered from a previous Chicago Sun-Times report, FBG Duck, real name Carlton Weekly, was shot in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood while shopping back in the summer of 2020. Weekly, who was affiliated with the Fly Boy Gang and a member of the Gangster Disciples offshoot faction Tooka, reportedly taunted rivals from the Black Disciples gang. Much of this recent ongoing war between members of the Gangster Disciples and the Black Disciples can be traced as far back as 2011.
Content page Chicagoscene88 allegedly obtained documents from the FBI stating that King Von masterminded the hit by initially offering $50,000 ad later doubling the amount.
A witness in the report claims that King Von gave out chains to O Block gang members over FBG Duck’s killing and named the shooters involved, most notably Muwop. A scan of Chicagoscene88’s Instagram page showcases additional information from the report. There has not been an official announcement made as of yet from the FBI or investigators in the still-open case.
In October of 2021, five people were arrested in connection to Duck’s murder, Marcus “Muwop” Smart, Christopher “C Thang” Thomas, Tacarlos “Los” Offerd, Kenneth “Kenny” Roberson, and Charles “C-Murda” Liggins. The group will face a trial this coming October.
King Von was shot and killed in Atlanta in 2020 following an incident between his crew and members of fellow rapper Quando Rando’s entourage outside a lounge.
