Keke Palmer has filed for a restraining order and has requested sole custody of her son with Darius Jackson, according to court filings that have been reviewed in the press. According to the filing, the talented actress says that Jackson allegedly entered her home and performed other violent acts toward her.
Us Weekly reports that Keke Palmer, 30, filed the documents Thursday (Nov. 9), after initial reports went wide that she was filing a restraining order against Darius Jackson, 29. Us Weekly and TMZ both reviewed the filings and the findings within offer disturbing details of alleged domestic violence over the course of months.
From Us Weekly:
She went on to allege that there have been “many instances of physical violence” with Jackson that include “destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting [me] in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”
Palmer also offered in the filing that she has security camera footage of the alleged assault detailed in the court documents.
Trouble was first noticed after Jackson took offense to Palmer’s outfit during her attendance at an Usher concert, taking to X to voice his displeasure. He doubled down on his disdain of the outfit, but nothing else would be revealed until now.
Many speculated that the pair ended their relationship back then but according to the filing, the pair split this past October after alleged incidents of violence and aggression, according to Palmer’s side. On social media, many are resurfacing old tweets from Jackson that point to a less-than-savory mindset on topics involving women and celebrities.
On X, formerly Twitter, the reactions to the news have been ongoing since the morning. We’ve got reactions from all sides below.

In news that should surprise absolutely no one, Keke Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson have allegedly broken up. More importantly, Usher dropped his new video for “Boyfriend” which stars the actress, and social media is loving the visual and the petty.
As for Jackson, People reports that Keke’s baby daddy has “moved on” after he publicly shamed her for being serenaded by Usher while at one of his Las Vegas shows. Keke was having none of the tomfoolery, creating t-shirts that capitalized on his “You a mom” reaction that got him dragged. Per a source, the fitness instructor and actor is focusing on acting and we would hope co-parenting the child, Leodis Andrellton, he just had with Keke.
We’re going to guess she isn’t losing much sleep since she’s busy participating in a marketing masterclass with the rollout of the new Usher visual. On Tuesday (Aug. 15) she shared a clip which was a blatant troll aimed at Jackson. Today (Aug. 16), as promised, we got the video and social media has been celebrating ever since.
Keke can be seen getting her dance on in the video for the smooth addition to Usher’s catalog. Also worth noting, she totally slid past the “video vixen” trope and offered a direct shot at her baby daddy.

Keke Palmer’s boyfriend had one job. But instead of minding his business, he infamously came for the actress after she got serenaded by Usher, and now he’s down extra bad.
It turns out that Ursher (sic) is dropping a new song called “Boyfriend,” and Keke is apparently starring in the video. We know this since on Tuesday afternoon (August 15) Keke announced its release on August 16 via a short clip. Clearly, the troll levels are elite with these two.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the teaser for the visual shared only the following line from the tune: “Somebody said that your boyfriend’s looking for me.”
Bruh.
Wait, the single cover, too?! Man alive.
Social media had already dragged Darius Jackson or Darius Dalton (that’s the boyfriend—yeah, all that family talk, and son didn’t even put a ring on it) for all the filth, now the jokes have resuscitated and a time is being had. See for yourself in the comments.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Keke Palmer turned her baby daddy’s shady commentary about her fabulous sheer dress into profitable t-shirts.
Spotted on EW, Keke Palmer isn’t letting her hating-ass baby daddy ruin her fun. In a video featuring her 4-month-old son Leodis, she apparently addressed her son’s father, Darius Jackson, shaming her dress with her cake on full display.
Palmer didn’t say Jackson’s name in the post, but she unveiled a new line of t-shirts that pretty much do all the talking for her. In the caption for the video, Palmer wrote, “One thing is certain, and one thing is true, IM A MOTHA, through and through! while singing Stevie Wonder’s 1976 single “Isn’t She Lovely” to her seed.
“‘IM A MOTHA’ and ‘Stevie to the bulls—‘ shirts available NOW!” the caption continues while directing her fans to her store.
“To all my mom’s out there, how did your baby change you?? Mine empowered me!” she wrote. “On such another level, my perspective changed because when my baby is good I’m GREAT! Look at that face! Gratitude galore,” she continued.
A Breakdown of The Drama
Palmer’s latest business move comes after social media dragged her boyfriend for publically shaming her on Twitter, writing in a quote retweet of a video of his son’s mother being serenaded by Usher while wearing a sheer maxi dress with her booty exposed.
“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” which quickly had folks calling him “corny.” Jackson did double down on his comments.
“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he wrote. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
He did deactivate his account, but his hiatus was short-lived, but he did scrub his Instagram account of all the photos featuring Palmer.

Is it a wrap for Keke Palmer and her baby daddy Darius Jackson? Based on his recent actions on social media, some assume that to be the case.
After Black Twitter, Instagram, Spill, Facebook, and Threads formed like Voltron to drag Darius Jackson for making a private matter between himself and the mother of his child, Keke Palmer, public, he shut down his socials.

Spotted on Page Six, Jackson, a 29-year-old fitness instructor and brother of actor Sarunas Jackson, ended his brief social media hiatus, and folks couldn’t help but notice that he scrubbed his Instagram profile of any photos of Keke Palmer, only leaving pictures of his son.
According to today’s dating standards, deleting or archiving photos of your significant other from your social media accounts is usually a sign of a breakup.
In his post announcing his return, Jackson wrote, “Y’all thought” in a quote retweet response to a Pop Crave tweet reporting on him shutting down his account.
This entire situation stemmed from Jackson being big mad about Keke Palmer’s attire in a video of her being serenaded by Usher during his insanely popular Las Vegas residency show. The 29-year-old actress wore a sheer dress, showing her cakes, and Jackson was not happy about writing in a viral response, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”
He doubled down on his criticism, writing, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”
“This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe,” adding, “I rest my case.”
Keke Palmer Doubles Down On Showing Off Her Cakes
While not directly addressing her daddy’s online shenanigans, she also seemed to double down on baring her baby-enhanced booty in her sheer dress.
“I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late! ” she wrote in the caption for her Instagram post.
We hear you, Ms. Palmer. We hope things get back on track for the sake of their son or at least amicable.

Keke Palmer’s baby daddy is learning the hard way. After coming for his own woman (yeah, they ain’t even married) because she was serenaded by Usher (in a see-through outfit), actor Sarunas Jackson’s brother is getting absolutely cooked on the e-streets and catching the “This you?” treatment.
If it’s one thing social media will always find, it’s the receipts. As we previously reported, Darius Dalton (or Darius Jackson)—the fact that he’s known by two names is a red flag for the struggle—took offense to Keke having a good time with Usher on stage in Las Vegas.
Twitter pretty much immediately proceeds to get him out of the paint. But buddy even doubled down.
So the social media investigators took it upon themselves to look up examples of Darius 2 Last Names acting a fool on Twitter. Like the time he himself posted Keke shaking her cakes.
But really, we just wanted to highlight more of these jokes because Twitter is going off, and we’re here for it.
Ya did it to yourself buddy.

Darius Daulton, also known as Darius Jackson, is learning a tough lesson many other men have learned when it comes to dating an exceptionally beautiful woman that is also a public figure. The father of Keke Palmer‘s son took to Twitter to criticize his partner over her outfit choice after a video of Palmer being serenaded by Usher went viral.
Darius Daulton caught wind of a video from Usher’s standing concert series in Las Vegas that Palmer attended. Video footage shows Usher, 44, singing passionately to Palmer, 29, and at one point, Palmer drapes her arms around Usher in a suggestive but playful manner while clearly enjoying the moment.
Daulton, who reportedly works as a fitness trainer and is the brother of actor Sarunas Jackson, didn’t enjoy the moment. His tweet said it all.
Immediately, fans online began calling Daulton names, including saying he was hating on Palmer for having a good time and other choice insults that include him being jobless. Instead of deleting the tweet or walking it back, Daulton fired back with a tweet repping his favorite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
After that tweet got some requisite criticism, Daulton once more closed the book on the whole matter and is deciding to move on.
Daulton wrote:
We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.
This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe.
I rest my case.
Palmer has yet to say anything about Daulton’s tweet, at least via Twitter. In fact, just yesterday (July 4), Palmer declared her love for Daulton.

Keke Palmer and her boo, Darius Jackson, celebrated the birth of their son on Monday and revealed that his name is Leodis Andrellton Jackson, who has the baby-naming brigade sharing their thoughts.
Okay, we can’t front. Celebrities are doing too damn much when naming their children, to the point their pets have better names.
This is not one of those cases here.
Palmer is understandably ecstatic to welcome her son into the world and introduce him to her fans in an Instagram gallery featuring videos and, of course, a photo of baby Leodis. In the caption, she begins, “Hey Son!!!!,” before writing “Born during Black History Month, with a name to match. LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world, baby Leo.”
No kidding that is a very STRONG, Black name.
As with any celebrity baby name reveal, social media always has thoughts. One Twitter user wrote, “That name sound like it led a civil rights March.”
Palmer, easily one of the wittiest celebs on Twitter, responded, “It’s giving I marched with Martin, purrrr.”
Ha, gotta love Keke Palmer.
Still, plenty of other people have some thoughts about the child’s name like Britni Danielle, the senior culture editor at ESPN’s Andscape, wrote, “Who granddaddy Keke’s baby named after??”
Another Twitter user wrote, “Keke Palmer said she bringing back the strong BLACK names. The great granddaddy names! She said her son gone know how to chop wood, start fires & build houses with his bare hands.”
Keke Palmer Told Us Her Son’s Name Was Going To Be Black ASF
To her credit, the actress put us on notice ahead of time about her son’s name, stating, “It gives Black American storyline,” and “We’re not going for anything too unique. It’s not about to be Stone and Sand. It’s just like a nice natural [name].”
Mission accomplished.

“To 2022, thank you for giving me a family,” Daulton captioned the Instagram post, which also included photos of the happy couple sharing a smooch on the beach. Palmer even shared a celebratory year-end Instagram post of her own, showing the very pregnant 29-year-old resting surrounded by nature. “This baby moving thing is weirdddddd,” she said in the caption, referencing a selfie showing an uncomfortable look on her face. “Everything that’s going to come is already in motion. all i have to do is enjoy. be grateful and reap the benefits of those that came before me, all the sacrifices, all the prayers and all the power to be intentional and at EASE.”
Back in December, Palmer made her hosting debut on SNL–the perfect opportunity to make her big announcement. “There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” she joyfully proclaimed, before flashing her growing bump. “I was trying so hard to keep it on the down-low ’cause I got a lot of stuff going on,” she went on. “You know, people kept coming up to me, ‘Congratulations,’ and I’m like, ‘Shh, can y’all stop? I got a liquor sponsorship on the line.’”
While no due date has been announced, we can safely bet on baby Palmer (or Jackson) arriving in 2023.
