The accusations first surfaced when Young-White filed for full custody of Adeya on July 24, citing serious concerns for her safety.
Court documents obtained by Billboard reveal Young-White’s claim that “everyone else has bigger say-so when it comes to the upbringing of our daughter than I do.” He alleged that Adeya was “born in a home and not in a conventional setting like a hospital,” explaining why his name isn’t on the birth certificate.

Young-White’s allegations escalated to accusations of Kehlani‘s involvement in what he termed a “cult.”
He claimed, “While Respondent is on tour, and our daughter is in the care of her fellow cult members, Adeya sleeps in the bed with, and is given baths by random adult members of the cult and she is often in the bedroom alone with some of these people.”
He even alleged being “physically restrained and threatened” when attempting to retrieve Adeya.
In response, Kehlani took to her Instagram Story on Aug. 6 to address the allegations head-on.
“What has been published in the media over the past 24 hours is incredibly hurtful, inaccurate, inappropriate, and simply untrue,” they stated.
“I strongly deny any claims that I have put my child in harm’s way or left my child alone with anyone deemed dangerous or unsafe. I also do not align with any of the allegations made against my former religious community that have been stated in the media.”
Kehlani then went on to address their commitment to Adeya’s well-being: “I have always taken great care to ensure that my child remains protected and safe at all times. My child and my commitment to motherhood have always been my sole driving forces in this life and will always remain so.”
“This is a legal, private, familial matter that will be handled accordingly, and I will now be taking space for my own personal well-being and, most importantly, for the well-being of my child. Thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. I will not be commenting further and will let the legal due process take place,” the “After Hours” singer concluded.
Young-White then released a statement of his own, attempting to clear the air regarding the portrayal of his claims in the media.
He accused TMZ of misrepresenting his words, stating, “That’s factually incorrect and I think it’s disgusting that TMZ would exploit a child’s image like that. Further, I have not been made aware of any court-ordered mediation as of writing this per the account of TMZ. Personally, I would love for TMZ to justify to me, the father, how they came up with this narrative.”
He continued, “The TMZ article sensationalized aspects of what was said while simultaneously breaching my confidentiality.”
“Further, the filing of my case was incomplete and did not have my authorization by error of counsel. I am no longer represented by the aforementioned counsel. There will be an amended filing soon which will illustrate the full range of my concern.”
Young-White insisted that he does not intend to vilify Kehlani, stating, “I do not need to paint an unfair image of my co-parent for my justifiable feelings to be respected by the court of law. This unfortunate trauma only increases the obstacles in ensuring my child’s well-being.”
“For now, I am hoping to clear the discrepancies made by TMZ. I hope to see a formal retraction and apology.”

Megan Thee Stallion moves on from Pardi, and now YG is tap, tap, tapping Saweetie.
The internet is buzzing after photos of YG and Saweetie in a pool getting cozy in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, hit Twitter timelines confirming rumors of them messing around with each other.
The photos in question show a fresh-faced Saweetie rocking her vacation braids and pink bikini along with the Bompton rapper, who is hilariously wearing a fitted baseball hat in the pool.
The two Hip-Hop stars are hugging each other in photos, with YG giving her a smooch on the cheek in another flick.
Rumors of Saweetie and YG dating began to swirl after the two were seen “getting cozy” at a California restaurant while attending Coachella.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Saweetie was one of the many guests at YG’s all-red 33rd birthday soiree in West Hollywood back in March, along with other names like A$AP Ferg, Ty Dolla $ign, Offset, DJ Mustard, and Travis Scott.

The love connection could have happened in the studio after the two rappers came together on Mozzy’s 2022 track “In My Face,” featuring 2 Chainz.
Saweetie & YG’s High-Profile Love Life
Both Saweetie and YG are no strangers to high-profile romances. YG has dated Keke Palmer, singer Kehlani, whom he got caught cheating on, and two children with his ex-girlfriend Catelyn Sparks.
Saweetie famously dated Quavo between 2018 and 2021. Their romance died as allegations of Quavo creeping on the “Best Friend” crafter.
“I’m single,” she said in a 2021 tweet. “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars, and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
“I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation,” she added.
Not long after, that infamous video of the elevator footage of the two artists involved in a physical altercation surfaced, but both Saweetie and Quavo said the incident happened and the past, and they were able to move past it.
Twitter Reacts To The News
Yup, Twitter is reacting to the surprising couple and is very meh at the idea of them dealing with each other. One Twitter user was unhappy to know “YG church shoe wearin’ ass” bagged Saweetie.
“YG & Saweetie is something I didn’t expect……but I’m not mad at it,” another Twitter user wrote.
Add YG and Saweetie to the list of new couples we will be rooting for. You can see more reactions to the news in the gallery below.

Kehlani is speaking out after being sexually assaulted at one of her recent concerts.
The star, who just wrapped up the European stretch of their Blue Water Road Trip tour, took to their Instagram Stories on Monday night (Dec. 12) to share frustration over the situation. “I’ve made video after video after video and deleted it because I don’t want any video of me as angry, triggered, crying upset as I am anywhere,” she wrote in a since-deleted statement.
She continued, “I don’t care how sexual you deem my music, my performances, my fun with my friends dancing at clubs, or ME… That does not give any of you the right to cross a boundary like sticking your hands up my skirt & pulling my underwear to TOUCH MY GENITALS as I am being escorted through a crowd after performing. This s— made me sick to my stomach. As a victim of sexual assault, I am endlessly triggered and mindblown.”

Kehlani has been a longtime supporter of sexual assault victims as a victim herself, and has repeatedly stood up against sexual abuse and assault. “We are women, we are life, we are the life source,” they told Billboard in 2017 amid the #MeToo movement. “That can be scary for people and it can result in terrible things, but don’t forget you who came from and what you are. Don’t forget your power, don’t let any trauma take away your power. That’s easier said than done, but you got this.”
