Jess Hilarious didn’t bite her tongue when addressing her co-hosts on The Breakfast Club in an IG rant that had many people reacting on social media.

Angela Yee’s permanent replacement, Jess Hilarious, felt a type of way after returning to full-time duty from maternity leave. The comedian hopped on her Instagram account to express her grievances about her peers, especially one person in particular, Loren LoRosa, who filled in for her while caring for her newborn child.

While she did not mention Breakfast Club OGs, DJ Envy, or Charlamagne Tha God by name, she made it clear she had issues with both men.
She expressed to her Instagram followers that she felt she was left in the dark about her role opposite LoRosa, who quickly became a fan favorite in her absence.
Her comments also came after comedian Cory Holcomb, who has had issues with Jess Hilarious, took swipes at her, claiming that she was replaced by someone more “talented” than her after she got pregnant.
Jess Hilarious accused her co-hosts of not coming to her defense.
“We supposed to be a team, but not one person comes to my defense at all, ever,” Jess Hilarious stated. “With this online sh*t. I feel played with, so I’m gonna play with **gas. I’ve been quiet a lot.”
Immediately, many believed that Jess Hilarious got the boot, but that is not the case. She did reveal that even though she picked LoRosa to fill in for her, she was initially not fond of her, especially after she claimed they gave LoRosa her popular “Jess With The Mess” segment.
Jess Hilarious Admits To Not Initially Liking Loren LaRosa
She revealed that she initially overcame her insecurities during LaRosa but did not say that she was not a fan of how The Breakfast Club moves while mentioning that she understood why Angela Yee left the show.

“Nah it ain’t even you I don’t like,’ I’m realizing,” she said on Instagram Live. “It’s the way these n**gas is doing sh*t up here.”

She continued, “Angela Yee ain’t that motherf*cking crazy. Not as crazy as n**gas try to make her out to be. There’s a reason that lady wanted to leave that show… I don’t know how she did that sh*t for 13 years.”
Angela Yee left the show in 2022 and now has her own show, Way Up With Angela Yee, which she co-hosts with Hip-Hop star Maino and other rotating guests.

The following morning, The Breakfast Club addressed Jess Hilarious’s comments, and she further expounded on the situation. It was revealed that LoRosa was initially brought on to be a producer and not an on-air personality.
DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God reassured Jess Hilarious that she was still good, but they also told her to ignore the comments. Envy, in particular, was not fond of Jess Hilarious running straight to IG instead of talking to the team in private.

It seems like everything is cool again, but that’s not stopping social media from sharing their two -cents on the matter. You can see those reactions in the gallery below.

Welp, it’s finally official: comedian Jess Hilarious will be the permanent new co-host at The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy. After spending much of 2023 rotating different co-hosts, including Jess Hilarious, to replace Angela Yee, who left the show in December 2022, it was announced Monday that Hilarious is finally on the show for good.

“I’m very excited to have Jess Hilarious join The Breakfast Club. She is a force in her own right, an actress, comedian, podcaster, and now, the co-host of The Breakfast Club,” Thea Mitchem, iHeartMedia executive vice president of programming, said in a published statement. “Jess was the standout choice to join Charlamagne and DJ Envy to build upon The Breakfast Club’s legacy of entertaining, informing and enlightening the community.”
Hilarious, born Jessica Robin Moore, also expressed gratitude for making the cut as permanent co-host.

“I’m looking forward to joining forces with one of the largest media platforms,” she said. “I’m confident that taking the third seat at The Breakfast Club will show people that Jess Hilarious is not just comedy, but culture.”
Things were looking pretty touch and go regarding Hilarious’ future on the popular radio show. The Wild ‘N Out star had already told her followers that she had been selected as The Breakfast Club’s permanent host last month, but Charlamagne disputed the claim telling TMZ that he was “not happy” with the fact that he was still in the dark regarding who the new host would be and that he’s “done with the rotating of the guest hosts,” which implied that Hilarious still hadn’t gotten the greenlight.
Chances of Jess joining the show seemed even slimmer last week when she went in on Charlamagne and Envy calling them “trash” for suggesting that R&B songstress SZA is this generation’s Mary J. Blige.
But all’s well that ends well, and now Jess Hilarious is officially a card-carrying member of The Breakfast Club. Congrats, Jess, and good luck.

It has only been a month since comedian Jess Hilarious announced that she was set to be the new host of The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne The God and DJ Envy, and drama between Jess and the hosts has already ensued. Note: Charlamagne disputed the claim that she was selected as a permanent host, but we’ll get to that in a second.

On Tuesday (Jan. 23), Jess shared a post by The Shade Room that showed Envy and Charlamagne elevating songstress SZA to the level of Mary J. Blige. Jess was having none of it.

“These N-ggas trash,” the Wild ‘N Out comedian wrote. “Envy shut up! I know artists be pissed when old heads do this bc now everybody negatively comparing SZA to MJB and it ain’t even her fault! She has her own identity already.”
It’s arguable that Hilarious isn’t wrong here. Calling SZA the new Mary is basically opening the door for trolls and die-hard MBJ fans to lash out and cause the “Kill Bill” singer to catch strays when she was just minding her own business and being great.

Still, it’s also arguable that Jess was being a little harsh when she called Charlamagne and Envy “trash” just for making the comparison. Perhaps her hostility towards the two Breakfast Club hosts has something to do with whatever happened with her joining the team.
From Hip Hop DX:
In late December, the former Wild N’Out star announced that she would be replacing Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club after more than a year of the morning show being just a two-man operation.
“It’s official,” she said during an event in her hometown. “I’ma put the fuck on for my city. Specifically, West Baltimore.”
However, these plans seem to have fallen apart.
Just last week, Charlamagne Tha God said he was “not happy” about the confusion surrounding the show, which has been without a third host since Yee departed in December 2022 to front her own syndicated program.
The Breakfast Club has had a number of rotating guest hosts including Claudia Jordan, Jess Hilarious, Jason Lee, and Loren LoRosa over the last year and a half, but they have yet to announce a permanent replacement.

When asked by TMZ about the situation, CTG said: “I would really like to know. I just came from downstairs. It was just me and Envy doing the show again.
“Everybody saw us rotating guest hosts last year and we said we were gonna start 2024 off with a new host and that hasn’t happened yet.”
He added: “I am done with the rotating of the guest hosts.”
Welp, now that Jess Hillarious has fired off on the show’s only two current hosts, chances of her ever becoming a Breakfast Club host—if it’s even something she wants anymore—have likely gone from slim to nill.
So, what do y’all think? Is Jess right about the comparison of SZA to Mary, or did Envy and The God have a fair point? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Master P continues to have to keep his good name clean. He has responded to claims that he finessed both Fat Trel and Jess Hilarious.

As per Vibe Magazine the mogul is back on social media to clear up some misconceptions on how others say he conducts business. Recently Fat Trel was a guest on No Jumper podcast. In it he discussed his dealings with Percy during his brief stint as a member of the Louie V Mob and claimed he was never paid for his contributions to a mixtape release. “You know we doing video shoots and photo shoots and we got shirts pressed up that say Louie V Mob and he calling us the Louie V Mob and outside of the money that he was paying me monthly, I was receiving nothing for all of the music I’m putting out!” he explained.

Well Master P gave some more context behind the release on a very detailed Instagram post. “I wish Fat Trel the best. But he is owed nothing from me or my company” he stated. “The only business we ever did was put out a free mixtape on Livemixtapes.com in 2013, which is available to download for free today. We also put it on iTunes, which it didn’t [sell] because you could get it free from Livemixtapes,” he continued. “I covered the entire production costs, paid for flights, an apartment, and rental cars that were trashed and damaged. I’m the only one that made a financial investment in this project and took a loss”.

As the guest host on The Breakfast Club comedian Jess Hilarious also shared her story about allegedly being shorted by Miller when it came to her role in I Got The Hook Up 2. “That man will talk a good game to you, like even with me, I Got The Hook-Up, I’m still owed some bread for that, I’m not gonna lie to you,” she explained. “I did two scenes. He thought you used one scene, you don’t got [to] pay for both of them. No, I stayed there 13 hours to do two scenes.”

The No Limit CEO addressed that claim as well. “For the cowards hiding behind their computers enforcing fake news, I do have @jesshilarious_official contract from 5 years ago for I Got The Hook Up 2 and the copy of the check that was cashed and paid” he responded. “She was joking about a second check that was never in her contract. That’s the narrative they ran with for clickbait and fake headlines. Thank God for receipts!”.
Jess Hilarious has since doubled down on her claim stating she has yet to receive the second half of her payment and also says that his son Romeo also has not been paid. Master P has yet to respond to these claims.
