Right-wing pundit Jason Whitlock appeared to be distancing himself from an interview he conducted with a highly antisemitic author on his show.
Right-wing columnist Jason Whitlock has come under some scrutiny after interviewing E. Michael Jones, a man whom the Anti-Defamation League describes as “an anti-Semitic Catholic writer” on his Fearless podcast Jan. 18. The reaction to the interview, which contained bigoted rants, prompted him to scrub social media content that promoted the interview after it aired.
After praising Jones as someone who was “canceled because of his writings” in his introduction, Whitlock saw the interview go south as Jones went into a particularly bigoted rant against Jewish people, which included him stating that they were “undermining the moral fabric of the American people,” and that they were “running the Biden Administration.”
Whitlock appeared to co-sign Jones’ words by replying, “I get it, and I can’t say that I disagree.” That led to Jones leveling a claim that “the Jews took over the Blacks early on” in his rant, with Whitlock declaring, “Mr. Jones, you are fearless,” before adding that those criticizing should know that “the man is speaking facts, and I know the intent of what he just said, and I got no problem with it.” The backlash led Whitlock to take down several clips he posted of the show to X, formerly Twitter.
Whitlock had a different tone in the follow-up show. “I should have been better prepared. That’s where I blamed myself,” he said. “After the interview, I did start like looking around and seeing like, oh, man, this guy’s got some real controversy to him. I don’t regret having him on. I regret not being as prepared as I should have been.” The former ESPN and FS1 personality also stated that he “may decide to take it down off YouTube just because I know how YouTube works.” The show was removed from the channel it has on TheBlaze’s network on the platform, but it remains on the main website and the conservative-friendly Rumble platform.
Jason Whitlock also would dismiss speculation that he was urged to take it down at the behest of Glenn Beck, TheBlaze’s founder. When contacted by the Daily Beast, he denied that happening, saying: “I removed the tweet because it overshadowed the purpose of the interview, a discussion about how sexual liberation is used for political control.”

Stephen A. Smith has the reputation of being a fiery commentator from his years at the top of the sports talk show world, and now it looks like he’s got beef in that arena. In a new video, Stephen A. Smith took heavy shots toward fellow sports journalism and reported MAGA enthusiast Jason Whitlock which has X reacting.
Smith, 56, published a new episode of his The Stephen A. Smith Show framed as a response to Jason Whitlock. It appears that the beef has been brewing for a while after Whitlock claimed that Smith’s memoir, Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes, was nothing but a bunch of tall tales.
As is Whitlock’s typical tactic, the sports commentator known for his outsized right-wing takes and harsh critique of Black people never ducks an opportunity to use his platforms to take shots. According to people who have observed this behavior over time, they’ve said that Whitlock is fishing for a reaction and an attempt to gain momentum for his various endeavors.
Whitlock responded on X, writing, “Stephen A Smith, the self-proclaimed face of ESPN, embarrassed himself and ESPN last night. He vows to never say my name again. No problem. He doesn’t have to say my name to explain the hard-to-believe stories in his “memoir.” Amazed seemingly no media outlet in the country is interested in why the face of ESPN tells so many farfetched stories about himself in a book. Make it make sense.”
Well, it appears that Smith has had enough. In the latest episode of his podcast, he opened up the show by saying that while there were several topics in the sports world to get into, it was time for him to fire back at Whitlock, whom he referred to as a “fat b*stard” and a “piece of sh*t” in the opening segment.
It is an explosive and intense display of anger, irritation, and frustration that is starting to buzz heavily on social media. As a result, fans on X, formerly Twitter, are chiming in with their thoughts complete with the requisite jokes and such.

Ciara tried to talk sense into white nationalists’ favorite Black bobblehead, Jason Whitlock, who can’t seem to stop himself from going out of his way to make stupid remarks regarding the police-involved death of Tyre Nichols.
Recently, Jason Whitlock sat down with the Calvin Candie to his Stephen, Tucker Carlson, and erroneously blamed Nichols’ violent death on Black single mothers.

“Everybody involved in this, on the street level, was either 24 to 32 years old. Everybody, it was a group of young Black men, five-on-one. It looked like gang violence to me. It looked like what young Black men do when they’re supervised by a single Black woman, and that’s what they got going on in the Memphis Police Department.”
“They’ve elected—or put some Black woman in charge of the police force, and we’re getting the same kind of chaos and disunity and violence that we see in a lot of these cities that are run by single mothers,” Whitlock continued, in reference to Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn “CJ” Davis. “If we want to discuss the breakdown of family that leads to disrespect for authority, that causes you to resist the police and run from the police and not comply with the police, because you resist authority at all times, because there was no male authority in your home, let’s have that discussion.”
Yeeeeah—this is beyond a reach.
Whitlock is clearly using Nichols’ death to arbitrarily take shots at single Black mothers, which makes no sense since Nichols had a stepfather in his life. Rush Limbaugh’s Black doppelganger also appears to be insinuating that if a Black woman is a single mother she couldn’t possibly be qualified to run a police department (or anything, for that matter).
Anyway, Ciara called him all the way out on his misogynoir and general anti-Blackness, but Whitlock is a dedicated house negro and he would not be dissuaded from his special brand of self-loathing.
“As a black man to get on national tv and say something like this is irresponsible,” Ciara tweeted. “A lot of amazing kids have come from single mothers. For you to also undermine single black women in the midst of this tragedy is so sad. This woman just lost her son! Do better!”
“Appreciate the feedback, Ciara. But at some point, we are going to have to deal with the negative impact of baby-mama culture,” Whitlock replied. “It’s destructive and unsustainable. Come up out of the denial. Denial won’t fix the problem. Thanks.”
Again, what does “baby-mama culture” have to do with Nichols? What do Black single mothers have to do with this story at all? It’s like Whitlock is throwing them under a bus that wasn’t even driving down their street.

Jason Whitlock doesn’t deserve a bit of our attention but we can’t stand by and ignore his latest head-scratching statement in the name of free thought. The sportscaster and political commentator called into question the various protests cropping up in the wake of a video going wide showing the murder of Tyre Nichols at the hands of five Black Memphis police officers.
Jason Whitlock, 55, tweeted out a question Friday night (Jan. 27) regarding the reaction to the footage of the five officers beating Nichols after a traffic stop, who later succumbed to his injuries on Jan 10. The city of Memphis continually urged its residents and outside observers to show restraint once the footage of the encounter went wide.
While the Memphis Police Department promptly fired and changed the five officers, most took note of the fact that action was swift when it came to these officers which stand in contrast to actions handed down to their white counterparts involved in similar incidents nationwide.
That fact was seemingly lost on Whitlock, and his tweet displayed his seemingly feigned curiosity as to why people are angered.
“Five police officers in Memphis appear to have committed a violent homicide. They’ve been fired and charged with second-degree murder. What is the protest about? What hasn’t happened?” Whitlock tweeted.
Shortly after that tweet, Whitlock shared a promo for his Blaze TV show, Fearless, which was centered around respecting law enforcement officers and the like. It was a clear shot at the encounter Nichols had with the elite SCORPION police unit in Memphis just mere yards from his home.
One of the most outlandish comments to come from Whitlock came from his appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show discussing the video and the passing of Nichols. While Whitlock was clear in calling the acts of the officers a crime, something he’s never done so swiftly in the past it seems, there was one point of contention that journalist Gretchen Carlson noted in a tweet.
Whitlock quote-tweeted with a response, writing, “What was crazy about my comment, Gretchen? What are the benefits of communities/neighborhoods run by matriarchal, baby-mama culture? You planning to relocate your intact nuclear family into one?”
There is no changing the sturdy, ham-fisted mind of Jason Whitlock and we’ll spare readers more of his asinine commentary. However, what we will share is how Twitter is cooking him and his ashy sew-in alive. Keep scrolling.
