Doja Cat is clearing up any confusion about her relationship status with Joseph Quinn.
On Saturday (Sept. 21), the 28-year-old “Paint the Town Red” rapper flashed a ring on her left hand while performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, leaving many fans wondering if she got engaged to the Stranger Things actor.

“no, im not engaged its a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it,” Doja wrote and quickly deleted on X (formerly Twitter) early Sunday morning, according to screenshots from Page Six.

Engagement rumors began swirling online shortly after images of the “Angora Hills” performance surfaced. “Rub it in their face, put a rock on her hand,” she sang while holding out her hand and showing the ring.

“omg doja cat & joseph quinn got engaged,” one fan wrote on X. Another questioned, “JOSEPH QUINN AND DOJA CAT ARE ENGAGED?????” A third confused onlooker added, “i don’t know what to think i don’t think she’s engaged it’s been a month.”

Doja and Quinn, 30, seemingly went public with their romance after stepping out in London holding hands in August. The public’s first sighting of the apparent couple came Aug. 17, when the rapper and A Quiet Place: Day One star took a romantic stroll through the city with their fingers locked. The following day, a video surfaced of them again walking through London.

The outings arrived two years after the “Say So” hittmaker first professed feelings for the actor in a private message sent to his Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp, who then got on Doja’s bad side by posting screenshots to social media. “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu.” she’d written in the messages. “Wait no. Does he have a gf?”

Shortly after Schnapp posted the DMs, Doja called him out on Instagram Live for being “so unbelievably, like, socially unaware and wack.” “That’s like borderline snake sh–,” she added at the time. “That’s like weasel sh–.” The child star then apologized to the Grammy winner behind the scenes, and both moved on.

A$AP Rocky announced on Thursday (Sept. 19) that he will no longer be performing at iHeartRadio Music Festival 2024 this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“UNFORTUNATELY, I ENDED UP GETTING SICK & I WON’T BE ABLE TO PERFORM AT THE @iheartfestival. IM SORRY TO MY FANS & THANKFUL TO @iheartradio FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO PERFORMING SOME NEW MUSIC FOR YALL! ENJOY THE SHOW THE LINE UP IS [fire emojis].”

Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Hozier, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Paramore, Shaboozey, The Black Crowes, The Weeknd, Thomas Rhett and Victoria Monét are still set to perform at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21, with a special appearance by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the star-studded affair will also feature AJ McLean, Flavor Flav, Jacoby Shaddix, Lance Bass, Paris Hilton, Tiffany Haddish, Hugh Evans, Joe Gatto, Tara and Hunter Woodhall as presenters.

Rocky’s now-canceled iHeartRadio Festival performance might’ve featured new music from his highly anticipated fourth album Don’t Be Dumb, which he revealed in his recent Billboard cover story was pushed back from its original Aug. 30 release date to sometime this fall. He later explained on X that “LEAKS & SAMPLE CLEARANCES ARE DISRUPTING THE ALBUM. ITS BEEN 6 YEARS & I WANNA MAKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER. IM SORRY FOR THE WAIT.” He’s released three singles ahead of the album within the last two months: “HIGHJACK” (with Jessica Pratt), “Tailor Swif” and “Ruby Rosary” (featuring J. Cole).

The iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup is heating up even more, with A$AP Rocky, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and The Weeknd joining the performers list, Billboard can exclusively reveal.
They join previously announced performers Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Hozier, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Paramore, Shaboozey, The Black Crowes, Thomas Rhett and Victoria Monét. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the festival will also include one-of-a-kind collaborations and surprise performances.

Ahead of his iHeart performance, The Weeknd will livestream a “one-night-only” concert from Sao Paolo, Brazil. Martin is currently on tour with Coldplay, with the band joining forces with Maggie Rogers this week during a stop in Vienna to cover Taylor Swift after the superstar was forced to cancel her Eras Tour shows in the Austrian capital due to an alleged terror plot. And current Billboard cover star A$AP Rocky says his Don’t Be Dumb album is finally coming out this fall, so the iHeart crowd could hear some brand-new music from the rapper.

“We’re particularly excited about this year’s lineup,” said Tom Poleman, chief programming officer for iHeartMedia, in a press statement. “This is the only festival in the world with this range of genres – spanning all the styles you hear on our 860 stations and the iHeartRadio app. Each performer can sell out on their own, so it’s incredibly rare that you can see them all together on the same stage.”
