Ever since unapologetically stomping for Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential race and taking shots at Kamala Harris, Hulk Hogan’s popularity in the WWE universe plummeted with the wrestling legend constantly getting booed whenever making an appearance at WWE events.
Seeing the writing on the wall, Hulk Hogan has decided to launch his own pro wrestling league banking on MAGA country to support his new venture and is calling on none other than the orange overlord, Donald Trump, to help him jumpstart his new wrestling league. According to TMZ, Hulk Hogan has linked up with fellow wrestling legend Eric Bischoff and famous coach Israel Martinez to start Real American Freestyle with the inaugural show kicking off in Cleveland, Ohio, on Aug. 30.
Though Donald Trump hasn’t committed to appearing at the event to show support to the man whose career he ruined by having him publicly support him during the 2024 presidential race, the Hulkster is hoping that the most hated man in the world repays a little of that debt by popping up at his Real American Freestyle wrestling event later this summer.
Per TMZ:
In fact, Hulk — who was one of Trump’s biggest supporters during his run for president in 2024 — said he plans to make a phone call to the White House soon to personally extend the invite.
With or without Trump, though, Hogan made it clear he’s expecting big things from the league — which will have a bit of a different feel than most of the wrestling promotions he used to dominate.
The RAF will feature real, unscripted freestyle wrestling … with both men’s and women’s divisions. He said in a teaser for the league that athletes “are going to get paid to beat people up” — before telling us they could make dollar amounts in the seven-figure range.
Hulk promised it’ll have “The Voice”-like elements too … saying wrestlers’ backgrounds will be given to fans prior to their matches.
Sounds like fans will know which “woke” wrestlers to boo and which “MAGA” wrestlers to cheer for. Just sayin’.
That being said, we feel like a Cheeto Jesus appearance depends on just how good or bad Trump will be looking come Aug. 30. If we’re in a deep recession by then (which seems likely), Trump might show up just to get cheered on by his MAGA cult and make himself feel better.

WWE Raw is entering a new era and made its splashy debut on the Netflix platform this week, with the early reactions from fans largely staying favorable. WWE Raw was packed with surprises as Triple H, The Rock, John Cena, and Hulk Hogan all showed up at varying intervals.

The WWE Raw and Netflix deal stirred up plenty of interest among pro wrestling fans and the anticipation for Monday’s (Jan. 6) event was high from the moment the partnership was announced in 2024. It’s clear that the deal is a lucrative one with the opening video montage getting fans both new and established up to speed about the history of professional wrestling.

Triple H, who is the WWE’s chief content officer, opened up the show at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles before giving the center of the ring to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who sits on the board of TKO Group, the company behind the UFC and WWE. Johnson gave praise to Netflix, his cousin Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes in a promo moment that seemed to win some fans over.

Roman Reigns, alongside his trusty manager Paul Heyman, took down Solo Sikoa in the Tribal Combat match for the Ula Fala and recognition as Tribal Chief of the Anoaʻifamily. That was followed by the Women’s World Championship bout between Rhea Ripley, who defeated Liv Morgan for the title.
Hulk Hogan, at one time one of the most popular stars in the pro wrestling world, was on hand to promote his Real American Beer brand but faced the boos of the crowd despite trying to thank WWE and his supporters. It could be assumed that Hogan was targeted due to his connection to President-elect Donald Trump.

After Hogan was swiftly moved to the side, Jey Uso, also part of the Anoaʻi wrestling family, took on Drew McIntyre and won the match. Afterwards, the main event, CM Punk and Seth Rollins ended with Punk emerging victorious.
In all, it appears that WWE Raw’s partnership with Netflix will be a fruitful one as it remains one of the top ratings cash cows in all of sports and entertainment.
On X, reactions to the event were all over the map with some not pleased with the show while others said they’re back on the bandwagon. We’ve got them listed below.

Hulk Hogan got caught in 4K, making a complete a** out himself.
TMZ Sports exclusively shared a video of the WWE Hall-of-Famer talking about allegedly performing wrestling moves on Vice President Kamala Harris while promoting his beer at a bar in Medina, Ohio, on Monday.
The iconic wrestler, who also was caught on tape saying the N-word with the hard ER, also used the moment to take a page out of the MAGA GOP playbook by questioning VP Harris’ racial identity.
Hogan might have realized he had crossed a line blaming his violent rhetoric on the booze he was drinking.
Per TMZ Sports:
The Hulkster was at the Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio promoting his new beer Monday night when he grabbed the mic and started firing up the crowd … and things quickly flew off the rails.
Hulk asked the place … “Want me to body-slam Kamala Harris? Want me to drop the leg on Kamala?”
Hulk took some more shots at Kamala in Ohio, including mocking her Indian heritage, and making a racist gesture referring to indigenous Americans. So … racist and ignorant, if you’re keeping score.
At that point, Hulk seemed to realize he may have taken things too far … and said it was just the beers talking.

Hulk Hogan Is Team MAGA All The Way
Hogan threw his bandana into the political space when he appeared during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. He happily ripped off his shirt, revealing he was down with the MAGA movement.
His jabs in the video should be no surprise because we know how Team MAGA gets down.
Folks on X, formerly Twitter, have been hitting the Hulkster with Stone Cold Stunner, calling him a racist and expressing disappointment in the once-beloved professional wrestler.
Welp.
He is never beating the racist allegations.
In the gallery below, you can see more reactions to Hulk Hogan making an a** out of himself.

2. Wrestling gods if you’re listening
