Luxury audio brand Master & Dynamic partnered with Neurable, a neurotechnology company specializing in developing AI-powered tools, to introduce an innovation in smart headphones.

The MW75 Neuro headphones measure your brain activity to help boost productivity and avoid burning out by integrating Neurable’s brain-computer interface (BCI) and AI technology. Electroencephalography (EEG) sensors in the ear pads of the headphones track and analyze brain signals and translates them into “detailed brainwave data that offers valuable insights into focus levels and more,” according to a news release.

Available in onyx and grey, MW75 Neuro headphones are up for pre-order and will be released on Oct. 31. They feature memory foam pads, an anodized aluminum headset, tempered glass and lambskin leather.

On the technical front, the hi-fidelity headphones are powered with 40mm beryllium metal drivers, Bluetooth 5.2, adaptive technology that connects to hi-res Bluetooth audio up to 100 feet and a 22-hour battery.

With the Neurable app, you can access your brainwave data and focus score, track your progress, find tips to enhance productivity and enact the Brain Break feature, which prompts you to pause and refocus.

“The brain serves as the core of our health and well-being, yet we have only scratched the surface of what is possible by understanding and harnessing its power,” said Dr. Ramses Alcaide, co-founder and CEO of Neurable. “In partnership with Master & Dynamic, we are eager to bring the future of neurotechnology to the world with the debut of our groundbreaking MW75 Neuro smart headphones. These headphones mark the beginning of BCI-enabled technology for all, with the development of future use cases already underway.”

Sonos is easily one of the best consumer audio brands on the market, but shockingly, it has never sold headphones, that was until now. The company unveiled its new Ace headphones.
The company’s first entry into the headphone market will not blow you away design-wise. However, what the brand is banking on with its Ace headphones is the sound quality that will offer “the most precise and immersive home theater experience possible.”
The Sonos Ace comes in two color options, “Soft White” and “Black,” with a simple modern look. It is for people in the market for a new pair of headphones that are not called AirPods Max or anything from Apple Beats.
Source: Sonos / Ace Headphones
The Ace headphones fold in the same way as AirPods Max but offer a lightweight travel case, something AirPods Max users have been screaming for.
Sonos Ace Headphones Features
Of course, the Ace headphones are wireless and offer features like “world-class” noise-canceling and transparency modes combined with “breathtaking” hi-resolution wireless audio.
Spatial audio is also available. Sonos promises an astounding 30 hours of battery life, with three hours of juice off three minutes of charging.
Comfort was another focal point with the Sonos Ace headphones featuring vegan leather ear cups that are “pillowy soft” and give the users a “wearing nothing” feeling, and they are replaceable.
“Sonos Ace represents our ambition to create moving sound experiences that are equal to the moment we live in. It is an exciting new chapter as we embark on what it means to design for personal listening,” said Maxime Bouvat-Merlin, Sonos Chief Product Officer. “True to Sonos’ heritage of premium products, each individual detail of Sonos Ace has been expertly crafted, custom designed, and tuned by the world’s leading sound experts to give you a listening experience unlike any other.”
The Sonos Ace headphones are available for pre-order, will officially launch on June 5, and will cost $449.

It’s a new year, meaning new Apple/Beats products. To help roll them out, the company enlisted the help of top female athletes Angel Reese, Naomi Osaka, and Sha’Carri Richardson.
The Apple-owned company unveiled the latest model in its long line of over-ear wireless headphones, the Solo 4. At launch, the Solo 4 headphones will cost $199 and promise up to 50 hours of battery life.
The Solo 4’s exceptional battery life can be attributed to the lack of active noise cancellation, a must-have feature now more than ever. It’s a bummer the Solo 4 headphones do have it, but Beats promises the other features make up for the lack of noise cancellation.
Those features include wired audio and passive tuning, allowing the Solo 4s to continue to work when the battery is dead and plugged in without sacrificing sound quality.
The Solo 4 also features custom acoustic architecture and supports native software on both Android and iOS devices.
Beats Also Announces The New Solo Buds
Source: Apple / Beats / Beats Solo 4 & Solo Buds
Beats also announced a new entry-level wireless earbuds model, the Solo Buds, which cost $79.99. While they might not be a premium offering, Beats still promises the Solo Buds will offer users “big Beats sound in the smallest case we’ve ever made.”
Also, for a $79.99 price point, you’re not getting ANC (active noise cancellation) or a charging case, but Beats boasts the Solo Buds will offer 18 hours of use on a single charge; after that, you have to plug up via USB-C.
The Solo 4 headphones are now available for pre-order and launch on May 2 in Matte Black, Slate Blue, and Cloud Pink.
The Solo Buds will arrive sometime in June, along with Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple, and Transparent Red color options.
You can see more photos of both accessories in the gallery below.

Steve Lacy wants to bring fans into his universe through a new collaboration with Bose. The partnership aims to put a “retro spin” on the tech brand’s new Ultra Open Earbuds, as well as the Quietcomfort Headphones featuring a vintage-inspired colorway boasting style and quality sounds.

When it came to designing the Bluetooth earbuds and over-ear headphones, the Grammy-winning artist took inspiration from what was already out there.

“I love applying the old approach to newer things,” Lacy said on the official campaign page. “And I think we created something that felt like vintage and modern, which is always something that feels good for everyone, I think, and classic. So I’m really happy with how it came out, and I like how it goes with my outfits.”

The Billboard Hot 100-topping “Bad Habit” singer wanted his exclusive colorway to boast vibes reminiscent of vintage mixing boards from the 1970s. While the base of the case and earbuds are light gray, you’ll notice accents of pink, blue and green for some subtle pops of color, which Lacy noted is “very me, right now” in a press statement.

A limited amount was made for the collaboration, and while it’s sold out online, you can still take advantage of all that the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have to offer.

Billboard Shopping had the opportunity to test out the brand-new wireless earbuds and love the unique fit and its ability to let you seamlessly have a conversation without having to constantly pause and play your music — or take out an earbud. While the collaboration earbuds are priced at $399, you can save $100 with the first version, which is available in a black or white colorway.

Keep reading to shop the earbuds below.

Bose Ultra Open Earbuds

Bose’s Ultra Open Earbuds use a cuff-like design that helps leave your ear open to hear noises around you whether it’s a bicycle or your name called to notify you your morning coffee’s ready. You can switch between immersive audio that’ll provide some noise-cancelling capabilities and they’re waterproof to help prevent rain or dirt from damaging the acoustics. The wireless earbuds have been ranked a No. 1 bestseller on Amazon for open-ear headphones with reviewers praising the long battery life (up to 7.5 hours of play time!) and comfort.

Bose’s official campaign video was creative-directed by Lacy and aims to show just how “powerful” the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds can be. It follows the “Dark Red” singer as he’s taking a walk while listening to music. Along his journey, he completes good deeds within his community using his superhuman strength, which he obtains whenever he’s wearing his Bose earbuds.
