Draymond Green will never be accused of being a player who lacks intensity, which has both benefitted his game and worked against him over the course of his career. On Tuesday (November 15), that same passion took a serious left turn after Green applied a chokehold straight from the mixed martial arts handbook on Rudy Gobert during a scuffle.
The Golden State Warriors hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves for an In-Season Tournament showdown in the Western Conference that got off to a rocky start early. The entire game unfolded into chaos after Warriors star Klay Thompson was tussling with Timberwolves Jaden McDaniels and the two grabbed each other’s jerseys on the way down to the court during a transition play.
The two swung each other around and both teams saw their benches emptied in an attempt to split them apart. Rudy Gobert tried to play a peacemaker role, prompting Draymond Green to leap into action and apply a vicious chokehold and grimacing as he applied pressure to the center’s neck.
From there, it was an all-out melee of bodies on the court with Thompson, McDaniels, and Green all being sent to the locker room. Thompson protested his ejection and Green was later assessed for a flagrant foul 2 for choking Gobert. The NBA saw no fault in Gobert, who was clearly trying to end the scuffle.
This is the 18th ejection for Green over the course of his career, leading all active players in that category. Further, it appears that these ejections happen more often when Stephen Curry isn’t playing. The sharpshooter sat out the game due to knee soreness.
After the game, Gobert called Green’s actions “clown behavior” and noted that the point forward often has trouble staying in games when Curry is out.
Across NBA Twitter, fans are discussing how many games Draymond Green should be suspended for putting the choke on Rudy Gobert. Check out those reactions below.

Will Smith might have to get his right hand ready again for slapping after a crazy rumor about him and Duane Martin was floated to the timeline during a recent interview. A former assistant to the celebrated actor and rapper claims that he walked in on Smith and Martin getting it on, and the reactions online are what you’d expect.
On Tasha K’s show, UNWINEWITHTASHAK, Brother Bilaal revealed an explosive claim that is currently trending on the social media streets in sharing with the host that he walked in on Will Smith having intercourse with Duane Martin.
To get more descriptive, Brother Bilaal claims that Smith was bent over the couch as Martin allegedly had his way with him. As you’ll hear in video clips of the discussion online, the description is a lot more graphic than what we wrote.
The rumors of Smith and Martin being lovers aren’t new but nothing has ever been confirmed nor have the gentleman spoken directly to the claims. Martin made two appearances on Smith’s hit 1990s sitcom, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, and maintained a friendship after that initial meeting over the years. Martin also appeared in three episodes for the dramatic The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reboot, Bel-Air.
It hasn’t been a great couple of years for Smith, this after the August Alsina entanglement woes and the infamous slap heard across the world. Further, Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, just released a memoir with fans believing that the newly minted author dragged her husband’s name through the mud again.
On X, Formerly known as Twitter, the reactions to the rumors are coming in fast and we’ve got comments from all sides below.

Nicki Minaj has just under a month before the release of her highly anticipated fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2, and all eyes are on the superstar rapper ahead of the drop. The Queens, N.Y. native graced the cover of the December issue of Vogue, and Nick Minaj shares more about her creative process, motherhood, and more.
Nicki Minaj and her body of work transformed the landscape of Hip-Hop not only for women who followed after her but overall. Her impact as an artist and her prowess as a hit-making lyricist have elevated her to legendary status among her adoring fans lovingly known as the “Barbz,” and many of her peers.

Few will forget Minaj’s scene-stealing turn on Kanye West’s star-studded posse cut “Monster” and Nicki’s anchoring verse. Since then, she’s remained a high-charting favorite. But now, she’s hoping to get back to the essence of why she began doing music, even though the weight of success has had an effect.
Minaj is featured on the cover of this month’s Vogue magazine and in the dazzling shots within, Minaj looks regal and at peace, most especially during a shot featuring her son, Papa Bear. Still, the main portion of the cover story is centered on Minaj hoping to get back to why she began creating music.
Source: Norman Jean Roy / Vogue
From Vogue:
“I think a lot of creators will understand this,” she ventures. “There’s a freeness that you have around you when you’re at your best, when you’re doing your thing at your peak. There’s like this lightness in the air. You’re happy even if you’re writing a sad song. But once you start knowing that you’re being judged, there’s no longer that free spirit. People who excel at something make it look easy, but they also deal with a lot of fear of letting people down and of letting themselves down. Once you make it, it’s like anything you say can be used against you. It’s like when you get arrested—that’s literally what being famous feels like. You go from having this fun, curious nature, laughing and joking, to realizing not everyone gets your sense of humor, not everyone likes you. And they will figure out how to put a negative spin on anything you do. It hurts.”
Throughout the piece, Minaj shows a side of herself that’s not always present in the music. The vulnerability juxtaposed with her unwavering confidence in her abilities is still displayed. She also gets into her marriage to Kenneth Petty, speaking honestly about her desire to dive into raising her child and leaving the game behind.
Thankfully, Nicki Minaj is very much still on course to create. Pink Friday 2 is slated to be released on December 8 and if the reactions on social media to the cover story going wide are an indication, she’ll be making her return to the top of the charts again.

Jeezy, who recently ended a nearly two-decade run with Def Jam, is moving into new roles after releasing a book and other massive life changes. Sitting down with Nia Long for a revealing chat in support of his new double album, the rapper born Jay Jenkins bares it all with the veteran actress, and the pair share jewels of their journey along the way.
On Tuesday (November 7), Jeezy released the highly-anticipated hour-long YouTube chat with Nia Long titled after his 13th studio album, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget. Long, serving as the lead interviewer, gets Jeezy to open up about his childhood before getting into his rise as one of the most consistent rappers in the game. However, the questions weren’t one-sided as Sno also asked his series of questions of Long, with the pair sharing intimate details of their upbringing.
Of course, this discussion turned to the topic of Jeezy’s recent split with Jeannie Mai, and while he never says anything negative about Mai, he makes it clear that he tried to save their union. This, in turn, inspired Long to open up about her past relationship with current Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka and the explosive scandal that occurred when he coached the Boston Celtics.
After remaining poised and professional, Long appeared to be emotional when speaking about her former relationship and raising the former couple’s son. However, whatever work that Nia Long and Jeezy have done in therapy is apparently paying dividends.
In our opinion, it’s one of the best things you’ll watch today if you’re into seeing a Black man and a Black woman get honest about their struggles with one another. There are still some online that aren’t buying some of the points raised in the conversation, but mostly many of the comments online have remained positive.

Check out the interview below.

NBA YoungBoy is one of the most popular young rappers in the game, but he has been consistently plagued by legal issues over the course of his career. The Baton Rouge star is now being accused of ordering two women to brutally assault the mother of one of his children, and the images connected to the allegations are disturbing.
Arcola, the mother of one of the rapper’s 11 children, claims that NBA YoungBoy ordered two women while attempting to drop their son off at his residence, presumably in Utah where he has been under house arrest. Arcola shared the chilling details via X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Watch who you have kids by. My son dad let his whoreS yes whores with an S cause it was 2 of them weak ass hoes. She continued with, “Mind you I dropped my son off the end of August he wanted me to come get him 2 weeks into him being there. So I told him keep him 2 more weeks. He was pissed lmao I just feel like if you ain’t gone help me financially you gone help physically.”
The messages go on with Arcola writing, “I would be wrong if I pressed charges on yall for doing me like this with my baby in my hand. But karma gone eat yall asses up. I got my son back I’m happy that’s all that matters fr. 5 stitches later. And her punk ass fist ain’t do that shorty had sum.”
A quick scan of NBA YoungBoy’s Instagram page doesn’t address Arcola’s claims and the latest image showcases the rapper flanked by two women. Some fans in the comments are alleging that these are the women who allegedly assaulted Arcola but that cannot be confirmed.

We are going to share Arcola’s thread but must warn readers that the images within may be sensitive to some. Proceed cautiously.

Joe Budden currently occupies one of the top positions in the entertainment podcast space, using his platform to express his typically strong viewpoints. The self-proclaimed “Podfather” says that folks are putting way too much sauce on persisting rumors that the media mogul was beaten inside a strip club and plans to address the issue this week.
Joe Budden, 43, is the host of the wildly popular The Joe Budden Podcast, which covers breaking news, music, and wider entertainment issues twice weekly via his eponymously named network along with an exclusive Patreon page. Recently, Budden addressed the recent woes of DJ Envy and Cesar Pina, both of whom are accused of running a real estate fraud scheme.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Budden’s name began trending and users of the platform connected the incident to Pina’s brother, Luchie Rentals, who confronted Budden recently while the broadcaster was out at dinner with another person. Not known for sharing his location publicly online, Budden often mentions his penchant for visiting strip clubs in the New York region.
While it isn’t known if the recently reported dustup is connected to Budden’s comments, he did confirm that he was sucker punched by an individual inside Dreams nightclub in New York during an Instagram Live session with QueenzFlip which can be viewed below via QueenzFlip’s Quiet Room network.

Budden says that he will address the altercation on a Monday (November 6) episode of The Joe Budden Podcast via Patreon. He went on to tell Flip that the individual got one punch in and they began to fight but said that a wet floor hindered his efforts. From the looks of the video, Budden looks unscathed and unbothered.

Ms. Lauryn Hill and the tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her debut solo album is one of the hottest tour tickets in the world. However, the rapper and vocalist is growing tired of complaints about her lateness when it comes to performing and addressed the crowd during a recent tour stop.
Ms. Lauryn Hill stopped in Los Angeles, Calif. this past weekend and arrived on the stage later than the scheduled time. While there, Hill, perhaps sensing the complaints that were possibly on some minds of the patrons in attendance, spoke to the issue directly. The speech can be seen in full as posted by VIBE R&B reporter Mya Abraham.

As it stands, Hill is aware of the complaints, something she once mentioned on the track “Nobody from” Nas’ King’s Disease II album in 2021.
Hill doesn’t dive too deeply into why she arrives on the stage at the staggered times that she does, but it appears that she isn’t exactly lacking understanding. What it does illustrate is that she hopes to gain some empathy from her fans instead of the constant complaints.
Joining Hill on the tour are her Fugees bandmates Wyclef Jean and Praz Michel, doing new renditions of their past hits from the two albums the trio recorded in the 1990s.
On X, formerly Twitter, fans are reacting to the footage that was released, along with their thoughts about the speech. Check out those replies below.

Social media loves a good mess to dissect. Case in point, Pardison Fontaine is currently persona non grata after Meg Thee Stallion graphically outed how he cheated on her via her new song, “Cobra.”
While Pardi is absolutely getting cooked on the Internets, investigators (that would be social media users) have determined the woman that was allegedly blessing Pardi with oral sex, in Meg’s home no less, is Jada Kingdom, a Jamaican model and singer.
However, she is denying any such claim. “i know it’s gonna drive y’all crazy to not have someone specific to terrorize for y’all president but it wasn’t me,” she wrote on her IG Stories. It’s also unconfirmed if she is currently in a relationship with Pardi.

Nevertheless, a lie travels much further than the truth—while many just ain’t convinced.

Who Is Jada Kingdom?
For those who case, she’s apparently a model, which can basically mean anything these days—no shade. She was apparently born in Jamaica and is a legit singer, though she might be more well known for appearing in Sean Kingston’s “One Way” video.

Pardi You Had One Job
But anyway, for now, Jada is trending because of her alleged shenanigans with Pardi while he was supposed to be committed to Meg Thee Stallion. The voluptuous model is also getting cooked on X, formerly known as Twitter, while getting thirsted over because, X users be horny. As was Pardi, allegedly. But Jada is also getting dragged because she seems to be a Tory Lanez supporter, too.

Peep the reactions in the gallery.

DJ Akademiks is back in another public beef, this time with Saucy Santana, and the back-and-forth between the two has gotten a little toxic. Saucy Santana said something that seemingly got to DJ Akademiks, who appeared to hold back tears explaining that he was bothered by the beef.
As we explained in a story yesterday, DJ Akademiks attracted the ire of Saucy Santana after he blasted the City Girls’ latest album RAW during a stream. Santana, who is close to the group, more specifically group member Yung Miami, used a slur to describe how Ak seems to only go after women.
Both men exchanged slurs and insults with Ak inviting Santana to his headquarters to discuss things. Santana, using X, formerly Twitter, shot down the invitation and reportedly posted a video saying he would physically violate Ak.
In a new Rumble (or Twitch?) stream, Ak can be seen discussing Santana’s threat of assault and begins to say how much the jabs bothered him. As he’s speaking, Ak’s voice cracks and he can be seen choking back tears.
Ak begins by saying he doesn’t want to respond to Santana in a way that will get his popular stream canceled. Some viewers online are noting that Ak appears to be emotional because he can’t be homophobic in retaliation, while others believe it’s a matter of insecurity.
Either way, folks on X are sharing their opinions and thoughts about this explosive beef. We’ve got reactions from all sides below. We’ve also got the video in question below. Do be warned that there is explicit language in the clip so mind your surroundings.
