Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro each add a new top 10 to their Billboard charts career history as “Beso” debuts at No. 4 on the Hot Latin Songs ranking dated April 8. The new achievement is their first as a couple, following five top 10s collaborative entries for Rosalía, and eight for Rauw Alejandro.

In total, “Beso” is Rosalía’s seventh top 10, and the 10th for Rauw Alejandro.

“Beso” is from the pair’s joint three-song release, RR, which arrived March 24 through Duars/Columbia/Sony Music Latin. The track, previously teased on Rosalía’s TikTok account on March 16, was accompanied by its music video, in which the couple announced their engagement.

The reggaetón-pop tune traces its high debut on the upper region on Hot Latin Songs — a blend of airplay, digital sales, and streaming activity– largely to 9.1 million official U.S. streams earned during the March 24-30 tracking week, according to Luminate. The sum makes for a No. 38 start on the all-genre Streaming Songs chart and a No. 4 on Latin Streaming Songs.

“Beso” also sold 2,000 downloads during the same period, making it the top-selling Latin song of the week with a No. 1 debut on Latin Digital Song Sales and a No. 36 on Digital Song Sales. On the former, it becomes Rosalía’s sixth No. 1 and Rauw’s fourth.

Radio, the third metric that contributes to Hot Latin Songs, also adds to “Beso’s” high start. The song registered 3 million in audience impressions in its third week. As such, it starts at No. 44 on the all-genre Latin Airplay chart.

“Beso” concurrently captures multiple top 10 entries across Billboard charts: No. 6 on Latin Pop Airplay, No. 10 on the Billboard Global 200, No. 7 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Plus, it makes its first chart appearance on Latin Rhythm Airplay at No. 17 and on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 tally, at No. 52.

Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma celebrate multiple career chart achievements as their collaborative hit “Ella Baila Sola” earns both artists their highest charting entries on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs and Billboard Hot 100 charts (dated April 1). On the former it starts at No. 2, and at No. 26 on the latter.

Eslabon Armado’s previous high on Hot Latin Songs came with the No. 3-peaking “Jugaste y Sufri,” featuring Dannylux, in 2021, which also marked its Hot 100 high, climbing to No. 69. For Peso Pluma, the act went as high as No. 6 on Hot Latin Songs with “AMG,” a co-billed collab with Gabito Ballesteros and Natanael Cano, in February. It was also its highest charting hit on the Hot 100, reaching No. 66.

“Ella Baila Sola” is Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma’s first partnership. It was released March 17 via Prajin Parlay/DEL Records and arrives at No. 2 on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs chart after its first full tracking week mainly on the strength of streaming activity. The list blends airplay, digital sales, and streaming data.

“Ella Baila Sola” logged 16 million official streams in the U.S. during the March 17-23 tracking week, according to Luminate. The figure makes for a No. 1 start on Latin Streaming Songs and a No. 10 debut on the overall Streaming Songs chart. It’s the second No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs for Eslabon Armado, and the first leader for Peso Pluma. On the all-genre Streaming Songs chart, it’s the first top 10 for both acts.

Notably, with 16 million streams in its opening week, “Ella Baila” logs the second-largest streaming week for a Latin debut this year thus far, trailing only Karol G x Shakira’s “TQG” which collected 29 million on the March 11-dated list.

While Bizarrap and Shakira’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” registered 5 million in its opening week (Jan. 21) from only two days of activity — it then posted a 341% gain in its second chart week (and first full week of tracking), with 20 million streams. (It was released Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. ET, and launched with less than two days of activity.)

Further, only one other regional Mexican collaboration has accumulated at least 15 million official streams or more: Fuerza Regida and Grupo Frontera’s “Bebe Dame” (Feb. 4-dated ranking)

Sales also contribute to “Ella Baila’s” high start on Hot Latin Songs: Although the song sold a little under 1,000 downloads in its initial week, it generated enough to debut at No. 4 on Latin Digital Song Sales.

Global Entry

Elsewhere on the charts, “Ella Baila Sola” makes its first appearance on both Billboard Global charts, which rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate.

The track bows at No. 12 on the Billboard Global 200 with 47 million streams and 1,000 downloads sold. Meanwhile, the song collects 31 million streams and negligible amount in sales which yields a No. 14 launch on Global Excl. U.S. While Eslabon clocks its first entry on the latter, the song earns both acts their highest entry on Global 200.

There is a new face on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart: Christopher Comstock, better known as Marshmello, makes his first chart visit with “El Merengue,” with Manuel Turizo, as the song debuts at No. 4 on the March 18-dated ranking. It also becomes the EDM music producer and DJ’s first top 10. Colombian Turizo claims his third straight top 10.
“El Merengue” is a tropical tune peppered with electronic beats and was released March 3 via Joytime Collective/Sony Music Latin. It starts with 6 million in audience impressions earned in the U.S. during the March 3-9 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The song is the first pair-up by the electronic DJ and Turizo. The latter previously spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on Tropical Airplay (starting the August 6, 2022-dated list) with his first official tropical attempt, “La Bachata.” Prior to “La Bachata” Turizo secured a first No. 1 through his featured turn on Piso 21’s “Déjala Que Vuelva” (two weeks at No. 1, 2021), when Tropical Airplay was a station-based chart.

As mentioned, Marshmello lands his first top 10 through his first foray on a Latin chart. He also becomes the third non-Spanish-language-speaking act to secure a top 10 on Tropical Airplay this year. He follows Justin Timberlake and Lil Jon. Timberlake spent five weeks in the top 10 since January through his Romeo Santos three-week champ collab, “Sin Fin,” which debuted and peaked at No. 1 last Sept. Lil Jon, meanwhile, completed three weeks in the top 10 this year through “Let’s Get Crazy,” his partnership with Don Omar. The track peaked at No. 5 last October and held strong in the upper tier for a total of 15 weeks.

“El Merengue” also contributes to the individual Latin Airplay ledgers for Marshmello and Turizo: as the song bows at No. 14 on the all-genre ranking, it becomes Marshmello’s highest start following two English-language tracks that peaked outside the top 40 in 2018. Turizo concurrently scores his highest start there after the No. 25 debut of “La Nota,” with Myke Towers and Rauw Alejandro, in Oct. 2020 (the song later reached No. 1, in Jan. 2021). In total, the Colombian singer-songwriter has landed nine top 10s there, with five of those reaching No. 1.

Elsewhere on Latin charts, “El Merengue” makes its No. 9 debut on Latin Digital Song Sales; a first chart visit and top 10 for Marshmello there.

Further, Turizo makes his debut on the Dance charts as “Merengue” debuts at No. 6 on Hot Dance/ Electronic Songs with 2.7 million U.S. clicks logged in its first tracking week plus 500 downloads.

All charts (dated March 18) will refresh on Billboard.com tomorrow (March 14).

Emilia, Big One and Callejero Fino hold at No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 for a second frame as “En La Intimidad” rules the March 4-dated chart. The song, released Feb. 1 through Fifty One, debuted at No. 9 and landed at the summit in its third week (chart dated Feb. 25).
Karol G and Shakira score their career-high debut as “TQG” arrives at No. 2. The song, which becomes the Hot Shot Debut of the week, is the fifth single from Karol G’s latest album Mañana Será Bonito, which debuted at No. 1 on the overall Billboard 200 chart, Top Latin Albums and Latin Rhythm Albums charts (dated March 11). The track concurrently debuted at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs in the same period.

Further, TINI’s “Cupido” moves up the ranking with a 6-3 climb. It’s the closest she’s been to the top since “La Triple T” reached No. 1 in its second frame, where it remained for five weeks starting on the May 14-dated tally.

Back to Shakira, her Bizarrap collab “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” dips 2-4 after its four-week run at No. 1 (Jan. 21-Feb. 11). Meanwhile, BM’s “M. A (Mejores Amigos)” holds steady at No. 5 for a third week.

Elsewhere, 16-year-old Camilo Villaruel, known by his stage name Milo J, has the Greatest Gainer of the week as “Rara Vez” rallies 61-17, a 44-position trek. It’s the closest the Argentinian rapper has gotten to the top as his “Milagrosa” rises to its new No. 61 peak also on the current chart. “Rara” propels to the top 20 mainly supported by its popularity on TikTok, where the song has generated more than 31,000 videos.

Further, Miranda! and Emilia each add a new chart entry with their collab “Uno Los Dos,” at No. 28.

The week brings four other debuts, starting with The Weeknd and Ariana Grande’s “Die for You” at No. 63, followed by Sebastian Yatra’s “Una Noche Sin Pensar” at No. 70, Sech’s “29 de June” at No 87, and Camilo and Camila Cabello’s “Ambulancia” at No. 88.

It’s all about Karol G this week on Billboard charts. Adding to her No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with Mañana Será Bonito and taking the No. 1 spot on both Global charts with her first Shakira collab, “TQG,” the Colombian also celebrates a dual No. 1 debut of her fourth studio album on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and Latin Rhythm Albums chart (all charts dated March 11).
“The fact that I’ve hit No. 1 with an album that is so personal is enormous,” Karol G told Billboard.

Mañana Será Bonito becomes Karol G’s second No. 1, and chart-topping debut, on Top Latin Albums, after KG015 opened atop the tally in April 2021. It’s also the first No. 1 debut by a female act since her own KG015. Prior, Selena Gomez debuted atop the chart with Revelación (EP) (March 2021).

Mañana was released Feb. 24 via Universal Music Latino. It starts with 94,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the Feb 24-March 2 tracking week, according to Luminate. Streaming powers the 17-track set’s opening sum, with 83,000 streaming-equivalent album units of Mañana’s 94,000-unit start deriving streaming activity. That equals to 118.73 million official on-demand streams for its songs, marking the biggest streaming week ever for a Latin album by a woman.

On the multimetric Top Latin Albums chart as measured in equivalent album units, each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.

Mañana also generated 10,000 in album sales and 1,000 track-equivalent album units. The album sales stem mostly from its digital download album (8,500; offered both a standard download and in two cover variants sold in webstore). Plus, 1,500 copies were sold of its CD format.

As mentioned, Karol G, born Carolina Giraldo, captures her second No. 1 on Top Latin Albums with her fourth charting release. Her first foray onto the list, Unstoppable, debuted and peaked at No. 2 in November 2017. Ocean followed, reaching a No. 2 best in May 2019, while KG015 earned her a first No. 1 in 2021.

Mañana was previewed by the Hot Latin Songs No. 1 single “Provenza” (May 14, 2022-dated chart), “Gatúbela,” which peaked at No. 4 on Sept. 10, 2022 (flies 22-11 on the current chart), and most recently, “Cairo,” which rallies 20-13 for a new peak this week.

The album’s large streaming activity sparks 13 debuts on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs chart, starting with “TQG,” with Shakira, at No. 1. The song concurrently bows at No. 4 on Latin Pop Airplay and No. 27 on Latin Airplay (“TQG” is acronym for “Te Quedó Grande,” roughly meaning “too much for you to handle.”). It’s the most-streamed Latin song of the week, with 29 million clicks in its first seven days in the U.S.

“X Si Volvemos,” with Romeo Santos, meanwhile, shoots 12-4 in its fourth chart week, with 9.5 million clicks. Three other tracks debut in the top 10 on Hot Latin Songs: “Mientras Me Curo El Cora,” the album’s opening track, at No. 8, “Gucci Los Paños” at No. 9, and “Tus Gafitas” at No. 10. The latter track links two of the most successful producers in recent years from two different worlds, Ovy on the Drums and Finneas.

Elsewhere on the charts, Mañana concurrently bows at No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Albums chart. Plus, as the album arrives at No. 1 on the overall Billboard 200, Karol makes history: It’s the first time that an all-Spanish-language album by a woman has topped the list. (The chart’s history dates to 1956, when it began publishing on a regularly, weekly basis.) Only two other mostly non-English-language albums by women have reached No. 1: Selena’s Dreaming of You (1995, which included both Spanish and English songs, though it was more than half Spanish) and The Singing Nun’s all-French-language self-titled album in 1963.

Romeo Santos and Rosalía’s “El Pañuelo” lifts 2-1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart to crown the Feb. 25-dated survey. The new coronation extends Santos’ record as the tropical artist with the most No. 1s (22), while Rosalía earns her sixth champ (and her fifth straight leader.)
In the Feb. 10-16 tracking period, “El Pañuelo” earned 11 million audience impressions in the U.S., up 1% from the week prior, according to Luminate. It advances from the runner-up slot in its 15th week and sends Bizarrap and Shakira’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” to No. 2 (with a 2% dip to 10.6 million impressions).

It’s the second time “Pañuelo” has topped a Latin chart. The new coronation arrives three weeks after the song reached No. 1 on Tropical Airplay (Feb. 4-dated ranking), where it remains for a third week (in between, the song dipped to No. 3 on Feb. 11).

Back on Latin Airplay, as “Pañuelo” arrives at the summit, Santos extends his No. 1 record among tropical artists, and enters a tie with Maluma and Wisin for the fifth-most overall, since the chart launched in 1994. Let’s look at the leaderboard:

35, J Balvin

32, Enrique Iglesias

31, Ozuna

27, Daddy Yankee

22, Maluma

22, Wisin

22, Romeo Santos

20, Bad Bunny

18, Ricky Martin

18, Shakira

Rosalía, as mentioned, picks up her sixth leader and fifth straight Latin Airplay No. 1 in over two years, since her featured turn in Sech’s “Relación,” with Daddy Yankee and J Balvin, which also features Farruko, topped the all-genre tally in September 2020. Prior, the Spaniard scored her first ruler with “Yo X Ti, Tú X Mi,” with Ozuna in 2019.

Further, “Pañuelo” marks Santos’ second charting collaboration with a female artist (out of 42 total entries) and first to hit No. 1 amid his 11 collaborative hits. His only other charting collab with a woman, “La Mejor Versión de Mí,” with Natti Natasha, scored a No. 5 high in November 2019.

All charts (dated Feb. 25) will refresh on Billboard.com Wednesday (Feb. 22).

Ozuna adds a 29th No. 1 to his career count on Billboard‘s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart as “Hey Mor,” featuring Feid, leads the Feb. 18-dated ranking. The song trades places with Bad Bunny and Rauw Alejandro’s “Party,” which slides 1-2 after two weeks in charge.
“Hey Mor” was released Oct. 8 via Aura/Sony Music Latin. It ascends 2-1 in its 10th week with 9.3 million in audience impressions, up 7%, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Feb. 9, according to Luminate.

The song is the sixth single from Ozuna’s fifth studio album OzuTochi which debuted at No. 5 on Top Latin Albums and at No. 4 on Latin Rhythm Albums last October.

“Hey Mor” gives the Latin rhythmic hitmaker his 29th champ on Latin Rhythm Airplay, and steps closer to the lead extending his second-best count of No. 1s among all acts on the 17-year-old chart. Daddy Yankee and J Balvin continue to have the most champs, both with 34 No. 1s. Here’s the leaderboard:

34, Daddy Yankee34, J Balvin29, Ozuna20, Bad Bunny19, Maluma19, Wisin19, Wisin & Yandel

Feid, meanwhile, captures his third No. 1 among seven career appearances. The Colombian’s first offering arrived with “Porfa,” with an all-star team comprising J Balvin, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Sech and Justin Quiles in August 2020. Plus, he locked in his first and only champ as a soloist, unaccompanied by any other act, on Latin Rhythm Airplay with “Normal” in January.

Elsewhere, “Hey Mor” doubles its previous peak on the all-genre Latin Airplay chart, rallying 8-4 in its seventh week. Plus, Feid scores a career best on the overall Billboard Hot 100 ranking, as the song climbs 96-88.

Bizarrap and Shakira add a fourth week atop the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart as “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” rules the Feb. 11-dated ranking. It’s the third “Music Session” by BIzarrap to crown the chart for at least four weeks, after “Vol. 38,” with L-Gante (seven weeks, 2021), and “Vol. 52,” with Quevedo (eight weeks in charge, July-Sept. 2022).

Titles No. 2 through No. 5 hold steady at their same rankings, starting with Luck Ra’s “Ya No Vuelvas,” featuring La K’Onga and Ke Personajes, at No. 2, “Muñecas” by TINI, La Joaqui and Steve Aoki, at No. 3, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” at No. 4, and Cris Mj, Duki and Nicki Nicole’s “Marisola,” featuring Standly, at No. 5.

Further, Big One, Emilia and Callejero Fino each add a new career top 10 to their Billboard Argentina accounts with “En La Intimidad,” their first collaboration and the Hot Shot Debut of the week, at No. 9.

Argentinian Lil Cake secures her first top 10 as “Mercho,” with Migrantes, which also features Nico Valdi, climbs 14-10. It’s the second top 10 for cumbia-based band Migrantes who scored its first champ with first chart entry “Si Me Tomo Una Cerveza,” with Alicos, in 2021. Valdi concurrently claims his first top 10 with first chart visit.

Further, Callejero Fino’s “Que Te Vaya Bien” notches the Greatest Gainer honors as it rallies 95-57 (a 38-position climb).

Lastly, the chart boats three other debuts starting with “Quiero Creer” by Luck Ra, La T Y La Ma and Rusherking at No. 38, “Christian Nodal and TINI’s “Por El Resto De Tu Vida” at No. 63, and Feid’s “Normal” at No. 92.

Victor Manuelle extends his record for the most top 10s among all acts on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart thanks to his latest single “Esta Noche Te Conviene,” which rises 16-10 on the Feb. 18-dated ranking.

The single enters the upper region in its third week with an 86% gain in audience impressions, to 2.32 million, earned in the U.S. during the Feb. 3-9 tracking week, according to Luminate. The song was composed by Luis Castillo, Omar Alfanno and Santiago Castillo.

“Esta Noche” is the third top 10-charting single from Manuelle’s 20th studio album Lado a Lado — which peaked at No. 13 on Tropical Albums last May — to reach the top 10 on Tropical Airplay. It follows the chart-leading “Víctimas Las Dos,” with La India (May 2021) and “Decidí Tener Pantalones,” which peaked at No. 5 last October. The former gave India her 11th champ on Tropical Airplay, the most among women since the tally launched in 1994.

Lado a Lado has collected one further top 20-charting hit in “Vamo’ a Ver Si El Gas Pela,” with Miky Woodz and Marvin Santiago, peaking at No. 13 last June.

With the new top 10, Victor Manuelle improves his career total count to 64 top 10s. The Puerto Rican stands way ahead of his nearest competitor, Marc Anthony, and his 54 top 10s. Let’s look at the scoreboard:

64, Victor Manuelle54, Marc Anthony37, Gilberto Santa Rosa34, Daddy Yankee33, Elvis Crespo32, Prince Royce31, Jerry Rivera

Manuelle secured his first top 10 with the No. 3-peaking “Apiádate de Mi” in 1994, his first visit to the chart (the same year the list launched).

Romeo Santos makes his first top 10 debut since 2017 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart with “X Si Volvemos,” the king of bachata’s first collaboration with Karol G (which translates to “in case we go back”), as the song opens at No. 5 on the Feb. 18-dated list. The also serves as Santos’ 21st hit on Hot Latin Songs.
“X Si Volvemos” bows in the top 10 on the multi-metric ranking mainly on the strength of streaming activity. It logged 8.9 million after its first full tracking week ending on Feb. 9, according to Luminate. Its opening count yields a No. 42 on the all-genre Streaming Songs chart and a No. 2 arrival on Latin Streaming Songs.

The upbeat rhythmic track was released Feb. 10 via Universal Music Latino and it’s the fourth single from Karol G’s fourth studio album Mañana Será Bonito, slated for a Feb. 26 release. The set was preceded by the Hot Latin Songs No. 1 hit “Provenza” (May 14, 2022) and the No. 4-peaking “Gatúbela” (Sept. 2022).

“X Si Volvemos” also traces its top five start to sales and airplay. On the sales front, the collab increased by 132% with 1,300 downloads sold during the same period. It moves 4-2 on Latin Digital Song Sales in its second week.

Airplay contributes minimally to its Hot Latin Songs debut. It registered 1,000 in audience impressions during its first tracking week, not enough to debut on the all-genre Latin Airplay chart this week.

As “Volvemos” arrives at No. 5 on the airplay-streaming- and digital sales-blended Hot Latin Songs ranking, Santos secures his first top 10 debut since “Imitadora,” featuring Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee, opened at No. 7 in July 2017. Santos’s previous top 10 arrived through “Sus Huellas” (No. 10 high in March 2022). Santos has claimed six top 10s between “Imitadora” and “Volvemos,” with songs that debuted outside the top 10.

Meanwhile, Karol G ups her top 10 career count to 17, the fourth-most among women behind Shakira’s 33 top 10s, Gloria Estefan’s 23, and Ana Gabriel’s 20 (among all acts, Bad Bunny leads with a robust 59 top 10s.)

Elsewhere, “Volvemos” concurrently makes its way into the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart, at No. 56: a 13th career entry for Karol G and a 12th for Santos. Further, it joins both Global charts, with a No. 30 start on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 32 on the Global Excl. U.S. tally.
