Diddy’s pursuit of bail continues to be an uphill battle. Prosecutors claim he has been abusing his phone privileges to finesse the system and more.
PEOPLE reports that the mogul’s latest push for a restricted release faces more objection. On Friday (Nov. 15), prosecutors submitted new documents detailing their reasoning on why the Bad Boy Entertainment founder should not be granted a new bail hearing.
This time, they point to some of his behavior while behind bars and claim he has been bending the rules in his favor. They say the “Victory” rapper has been utilizing a “non-authorized third-party messaging service” to communicate with his staff, family, and others.
The app in question is ContactMeASAP, and the filing asserts he has been using it to contact “unauthorized” contacts. He is also accused of using other inmates’ phone access codes to make “three-way calls to contact other individuals.”
Will A Recent Social Media Media Post Doom Diddy?
Prosecutors also point to his recent conversation with his children on his birthday.
“The defendant enlisted family members to plan and execute a social media campaign around the defendant’s birthday, with the intention of influencing the potential jury in this criminal proceeding,” the paperwork reads. “At the defendant’s carefully curated direction, the defendant’s children posted a video to their respective social media accounts showing the defendant’s children gathered to celebrate the defendant’s birthday.” The feds would also go on to suspect Diddy had “monitored the analytics” of the post and “explicitly discussed with his family how to ensure that the video had his desired effect on potential jury members in this case.”
The footage in question shows Justin Combs, Quincy Combs, Christian Combs, Jessie, D’Lila Combs, and Chance Combs, who joined via FaceTime and spoke to Diddy over the phone. His children wished him a happy birthday and had a small cake on the table in his honor. Diddy has plead not guilty to the charges.

New reports are continuing to develop in the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking matter that is the target of a federal investigation. Cassie, who many feel began the deluge against Diddy, is reportedly working with investigators in the case.
TMZ reports that sources close to the case informed them that Cassie has been in contact with the authorities connected to the federal investigation into the alleged sex trafficking and assault charges Diddy currently faces. Cassie’s cooperation adds to others who have stepped forward to offer what they know about the matter.
What was interesting in the report is that Cassie had been reportedly working with the investigators for weeks long before the
orchestrated raid of Combs’ homes.
Other women have also come forward to cooperate but those names aren’t known to the public. The details of the conversations haven’t been revealed but it seems that much of what has come out so far is being repeated.
The outlet adds that they weren’t able to determine if producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones spoke with the authorities beyond filing the lawsuit that named Yung Miami, Daphne Jo, and others.
As of now, Jones has not been charged with a crime and is not on the run as had been widely reported.

Federal authorities are turning over every stone when it comes to investigating Diddy. Companies tied to the mogul have been served subpoenas.
As spotted on TMZ the task force behind the recent raids to Sean Combs’ properties is looking for more intel that can be used as potential evidence. The celebrity gossip website reports that several service providers for the Bad Boy Entertainment founder have been mandated to turn over all correspondences over for formal review. Sources who say are close to the matter say the the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York has served his jet charter company with a subpoena with a goal of identifying who joined him on his private flights. The same goes for his wireless provider and vendors who service his computers. If needed the FAA can also be served so the agency can see his movements on commercial airlines.
On Monday, March 25 Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in connection to a sex trafficking. His lawyer Aaron Dyers has denied the allegations and chastised federal officials on how they conducted the searches on Diddy’s properties via a formal statement to Variety Magazine. “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” Dyer wrote. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”
As per The New York Post Diddy was spotted out and about in Miami with his two daughters on Thursday, March 26. He declined comment when asked about the recent events and flashed a peace sign to the paparazzi.
