Tragic news coming out of Louisville as EST Gee’s manager, Devontae Beach, was shot and killed after a concert EST Gee (George Stone) held in his hometown.

According to WLKY, the 31-year-old’s lifeless body was discovered inside a car in downtown Louisville during the wee hours of Sunday morning. Police found Devontae Beach’s body after responding to a call of gunshots on the 800 block of West Main Street around 1:30 a.m.

Local media outlet Wave3 reports that there were concerns about the security surrounding the concert at the KFC Yum! Center prior to the shooting.
Per Wave3:
The Yum! Center was aware of those concerns, multiple sources confirmed, but the concert happened anyway.
A spokesperson for the venue said they had enhanced security measures during the concert and that ensuring their staff and guests’ safety is paramount. They added the measures “effectively ensured a secure environment for everyone attending the concert.”
LMPD successfully increased their efforts inside the venue as well. Investigators know of the gang ties surrounding Stone’s crew.
In 2021, the FBI arrested several of Stone’s business partners including his previous manager, Eric Mosely, for gang related activity including guns and drugs. The trafficking organization, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, was “Everybody Shine Together,” or “EST” their press release stated. Stone, who has been shot twice himself, was not arrested in that raid.
As of press time, police have no suspects or motive for the killing.
EST Gee has yet to comment on the murder of his manager. RIP.

A shooting after a high school graduation ceremony held at a university in Virginia has left a teen and his father dead, with seven others injured.

On Tuesday (June 6), a high school graduation ceremony held on the grounds of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia had just ended when an individual opened fire on the crowd that gathered in Monroe Park. Shawn Jackson, 18, and his father Renzo Smith, 36, were shot and killed. Five other people ranging in age from 14 to 58, all male, were also injured by the gunfire and were transported to the hospital. One of them is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries. Two other victims took themselves to the hospital for treatment.

Tameeka Jackson-Smith, Shawn Jackson’s mother, told the press that Renzo Smith was in attendance to watch his son graduate from Huguenot High School, with the ceremony held earlier at the Altria Theater. “He was so happy — oh my God — because he got to graduate. He worked hard,”  she said of her son. Interim Richmond Police Department Chief Rick Edwards confirmed that a 19-year-old who was one of two people initially taken into custody is the suspected shooter. Edwards also said that they believe he knew at least one of the victims and that the suspect faces two counts of second-degree murder.
The police chief also went on to say that four firearms were recovered from the scene of the shooting. Nine other people at the scene were treated for anxiety, and a nine-year-old (who Jackson-Smith confirmed to reporters was her daughter), who was hit by a car as the incident unfolded was also treated at the scene before going to the hospital, authorities disclosed.
A statement from Richmond Public Schools that evening said that all district schools would be closed on Wednesday and that the remaining high school graduations for the week would be canceled. RPS Superintendent Jason Karmas, still in his graduation robe, spoke to the press while overcome with emotion. “I can’t shake the image of him receiving CPR on the ground,” he began before saying, “I’m tired of seeing people get shot, our kids get shot, and I beg of the entire community to stop. To just stop. Our kids can’t take it. Our teachers can’t take it. Our families can’t take it anymore. I beg of you to stop.”

BTB Savage, a rising rapper based in Houston, Texas, was reportedly shot and killed just hours after posting a photo of him standing in blood. The photo in question was reportedly the aftermath of BTB Savage and his girlfriend shooting and killing an intruder in their home.
Details are scant at the moment and there is a lot of speculation swirling on social media.
What we can say is local outlet ABC13 reports that a man was shot in killed in what appeared to be a targeted attack near the River Oaks section of Houston Thursday (March 30). According to the outlet, the unidentified man was driving a Mercedes when a Subaru pulled up alongside him and fired shots. Two suspects then exited the Subaru and fled on foot.
As seen in ABC13’s video report, several bullet casings were found at the scene and promoted local authorities to deem the attack as targeted. The investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
BTB Savage posted an image on social media that went viral of him standing in blood, which the rapper himself claimed was his handiwork in a recent DJ Vlad interview which can be viewed below. The image in question will not be shared on this page but it is easily searchable online. Further, it appears that BTB used the image to promote a new mixtape titled Too Much Motion.

As BTB Savage explained in the video, a rapper looking to collaborate came to his home with a crew where he allegedly began casing the surroundings and, in the late rapper’s words, inquired about his chain. This sparked a fight and an exchange of gunfire. BTB’s girlfriend was present during the incident and also discharged a firearm in self-defense.
