“When Harry met Alessandro,” the designer brand captioned a video posted to Twitter, in which the “As It Was” singer is seen trying on a variety of colorful, patterned outfits from the collection, including plaid pants, sleek suits and brightly hued accents.
“I’m so happy to see this project finally come to life,” Styles said in a statement about the collection, according to GQ. “I’ve known Alessandro for years now, and he’s always been one of my favorite people. I’m always inspired watching him work, so doing this collaboration with my friend was very special to me.”
During a conference presenting the collection back in June, the Gucci creative director said he and Styles started making a concentrated effort to work on the collection about a year ago, though most of it was conceptualized over WhatsApp and over dinners with each other. Of their work dynamic, Michele said working with Styles on the collection was “kind of like working at home on a rainy day between two friends, doing something to have fun.”
The 28-year-old has worn Gucci pieces several notable times throughout his career: He made history as the first solo male star to make the cover of Vogue in 2020, and he did it in a Gucci dress; he also arrived alongside Michele at the 2019 Met Gala in a Gucci ensemble.
Johnny Depp will be appearing in Rihanna‘s upcoming Savage x Fenty Vol. 4 show, Billboard can confirm.
The news was first reported by TMZ Thursday (Nov. 3). According to the publication, Depp won’t be walking the runway as a model, but will instead be a celebrated guest at the center of a “star” moment in the show. He becomes the first man to take on the role, following previous “star” moments dedicated to Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu in past Savage x Fenty shows. TMZ also reported that the actor has already filmed his portion of the show.

Depp will model items from Ri’s men’s collection, according to the publication. Savage x Fenty Vol. 4 show premieres on Amazon’s Prime Video Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Billboard has reached out to Rihanna’s team for comment.
The show comes about five months after the conclusion of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s highly publicized libel trial, in which he sued Aquaman actress Amber Heard — his ex-wife — for penning a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post about her experiences as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” Heard countersued Depp over statements made by his attorney concerning her abuse claims, and the Virginia jury found both parties liable. However, Depp was awarded significantly more damages than Heard.
Depp’s participation in Savage x Fenty Vol. 4 follows his surprise August appearance at the 2022 VMAs, for which his face was digitally edited onto the helmet of a life-size Moon Person that floated from the rafters during the show’s opening moments.

Another company is saying adios to Kanye West and his products. As of Wednesday (Oct. 26), TJ Maxx has joined brands such as Adidas and Balenciaga in severing ties with the rapper following a flurry of antisemitic comments he made in social media posts and in subsequent interviews this month.
“At TJX we do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or hate of any kind,” read a statement shared by the retailer with CNN. “We have instructed our buying teams not to purchase this merchandise for sale in any of our stores globally.”
Billboard has reached out to West for comment.
TJ Maxx is merely the latest domino to fall in the line of businesses dropping the artist, who now goes by Ye. One day prior, Adidas announced it would be ending a nearly decade-long partnership with the “Donda” artist, which spawned the creation of his massively successful Yeezy shoe line. Gap and Foot Locker also confirmed Tuesday (Oct. 25) that they’d be removing Ye’s products from their shelves.
Before that, Ye was discharged from his professional relationship with Balenciaga on Friday (Oct. 21), and dropped as a client from Creative Artists Agency on Monday (Oct. 24).
The fallout first began Oct. 3, when Ye featured shirts printed with the phrase “White Lives Matter” in his Paris Fashion Week show. Just days later, he was suspended from Twitter and Instagram for posting anti-Jewish hate speech, which he continued to spew in later appearances on Cuomo, Drink Champs and other interviews.
It’s not just companies that are condemning Ye’s recent antics. Stars such as Ariana Grande, John Legend, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Antonoff, Sarah Silverman and more have all publicly spoken out against the Yeezy founder’s hate speech in the past few weeks. As recently as Monday night (Oct. 24), Harry Styles replaced his usual Adidas footwear with Vans for one of his concerts, something fans believed to be a small act of protest against the brand before it severed ties with Ye. The loss of the Adidas partnership was a move that cost the rapper his status as a billionaire, according to Forbes.
