In more DJ Envy news, Erica Mena is now revisiting her affair with The Breakfast Club co-host.
Taking a slight detour from DJ Envy and his alleged involvement in a multi-million dollar real estate scam, the focus is shifted back to his infidelity that almost ruined his marriage.
During a recent episode of the Reality with the King podcast, unemployed reality star Erica Mena spoke about her affair with DJ Envy. She revealed that she allegedly had no idea he was married and only found out after a phone call with his wife, Gia Casey.
Per Complex:
“That came out when I got on Love & Hip Hop, and we had just broken up because the wife found out, which I was totally oblivious to. I knew about the kids, mind you. I have a kid, but I have a baby daddy, and it’s more common where we come from to have kids, but you’re not married; you just got a baby mama,” said Mena.
She continued, “I knew about the kids, and it was always told to me [that she was] his kid’s mother, never wife. And I didn’t get that realization until I got a phone call from the wife.”
DJ Envy Was Allegedly Out Here Acting Like He Wasn’t Married
The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star also claims that Envy was out here acting like a single man, giving her all of the attention and gifts only to leave her hanging.
“I’m over here—I have never been in this situation. Here’s this man that’s been doting over me, showering me, you know? I’m starting to fall for him, I spent a lot of time with him. This man flew me and all my friends to Miami; we were living our best lives up and down New York City, holding hands. We were very public,” Mena said.
After Envy was caught slipping, he abruptly ended the affair and blamed Mena while copping pleas with his wife, who called into the Breakfast Club morning show, where the radio host apologized while on-air.
“A couple of days later, I’m getting blown up. ‘Envy’s on-air dogging you out.’ [He said] something to the effect of how he cheated with someone that was beneath him, that whole stuff. So when that happened, I was like: okay. So this is what he’s doing? He’s trying to save half of everything.’ I get it. But why run me through the mud when you knew I didn’t know?” Mena said.

DJ Envy is having one of the worst years of his life. Mena isn’t too far behind. We will chalk it all up to karma.

Former Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star Erica Mena is now apologizing after she got the boot from the reality TV series for a disgustingly racist comment she made about cast member Spice.
Spotted on TMZ, Erica Mena is singing a different tune after VH1 fired her.
Speaking exclusively with the celebrity gossip site, Mena says she is sorry for calling Spice a monkey on a past episode of the popular VH1 reality series.
She insists there was no racist intent behind her words.
Per TMZ:
The ex-‘Love & Hip Hop’ star — who was booted from the show for hurling the word — tells TMZ … “I deeply regret my insensitive comment and want to humbly apologize to anybody I hurt or offended by my thoughtlessness. My choice of words was wrong, and I take full responsibility for what I said.”
She adds, “I am committed to listening to the voices of those affected and will work toward making amends. As a woman of color and the mother of two black children, I want to make it clear that my use of that word was not in any way racially driven.”
Erica ends with this … “That said, I do understand the gravity of what I said and want to use my platform to promote inclusivity and equality.”
A Recap of Erica Mena’s Heada** Behavior
The reality television star and struggle musician who identifies as “Afro-Latina” was let go immediately after the episode aired where she and Spice got into a heated exchange.Mena was not happy with Spice hanging out with her ex-husband Safaree, and things went wrong when she mentioned Mena’s son does not like her, causing her to lose it and call her a “monkey” out of anger.
Viewers immediately called for VH1 to fire Erica Mena for using the slur, and they got their wish.
We shall see if Mena’s apology is enough to regain her job. We won’t be shocked if VH1 decides to bring her back on.

Erica Mena, one of Love & Hip Hop’s long-time cast members, is now out of a job due to her reckless mouth.
Erica Mena and her forehead vein services will no longer be needed on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Mena got the boot from the VH1 reality show after she called fellow cast member and Reggae superstar Spice a slur during one of those classic LHHATL tense moments.
The reality show announced Mena is not returning for the next season in a statement shared on the show’s official X account.
“The Love & Hip Hop franchise has never shied away from hard conversations in our community. Working hand-in-hand with our partners, viewers will see the impact of Erica Mena’s remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season. Effective immediately, she will not appear in the next season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the statement reads.
In the episode, Erica Mena and Spice tried to discuss their differences. Mena was not fond of Spice’s friendship with her ex and the father of her children, Safaree, who is now “dating” Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Amara La Negra.
The conversation goes entirely left when Spice claims that Mena’s 16-year-old son, King, “hates” his mother, leading to Mena literally flipping the table on Spice and fellow cast member Shekinah, who was trying to mediate peace between them.
Social Media Is Lit Erica Mena Up
Before she got fired, social media was on Mena’s ridiculously tanned a**, dragging her for filth on the X (formerly known as Twitter), which probably led to VH1’s decision.
“Erica Mena is a white latino racist cosplaying as black woman. To call THEE Spice BLACK & MONKEY then a BLUE to say she should’ve died? YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING THAT COMES TO YOU!! EVERY SINGLE THING!!,” one X User wrote.
Another X user wrote, “The irony is, VH1/Viacom/Mona Scott saw this clip months ago and still decided to air it. It should’ve never seen the light of day and Erica Mena should’ve been let go immediately when it happened. They’re only doing this because of the outrage/backlash.”

The vein in Erica Mena’s forehead was more prominent than usual while watching her ex-husband splurge on Amara La Negra’s twins.
Erica Mena straaaaaiiigggghhhhtttt up had time for Safaree after a video showed her ex-husband gifting his rumored girlfriend and fellow Love & Hip Hop alum Amara La Negra’s twins, Sumajestad and Sualteza, with Rolex watches.
In the video that lives on The Shade Room and features loud and very unnecessary commentary from Bobby Lytes, Safaree lets those in attendance know how much he appreciates her since his move to Miami.
“I’m doing this because I’m new to Miami, and ever since I have been here, Amara has been a great everything – friend, tour guide, help me with my Spanish. You know.” The Latin musician interjected during Safaree’s speech adding “Business to partner” in there.
“Yes, great business partner, great with the future endeavors. She’ll send me things in the morning just like, ‘Hey, there’s this motivational app it sends you inspirational things throughout the day.’ As a Black man, we need that,” he continued.
Erica Mena Accuses Safaree of Being Cheap With Their Kids
Erica Mena didn’t waste any time stepping into the cesspool that is The Shade Room comment section to call out her baby daddy for not showing the same love to his kids.
“Awe so cute. It’s just very interesting how my kids have NEVER received gifts like this by this waste man. My daughter just turned 3. All she got was a birthday cake and a few balloons in his living room. And please don’t get me started one how he didn’t do anything for my sons 1st birthday until two weeks after the fact. And again, that was just balloons in his living room. But happy every enjoyed this circus theme birthday party with a deadbeat clown as the special guest.”

Fueling the dating rumors, a video recorded by Shay “Bucky” Johnson shows them sharing a kiss.
Social media is not buying it and believes this is just setting up a possible LHHMIA storyline.
