The Exonerated Five have filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump for defamation related to his comments about them during the September presidential debate.
The Exonerated Five, formerly known as the Central Park Five, have filed a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump for defamation of character. The filing, made by Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Antron Brown, and Korey Wise, points to his remarks made about them and their case in the Sept. 10 presidential debate against Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Specifically, the filing addresses Trump’s false claim that the men “killed an individual and pled guilty to the crime. These statements are demonstrably false. “Plaintiffs never pled guilty to any crime and were subsequently cleared of all wrongdoing. Further, the victims of the Central Park assaults were not killed.” The 1989 case began when all five, who were teenagers at the time, were arrested and convicted of the rape of a woman jogger in Central Park. Trump took out a full-page ad in May of that year demanding the city send a message and “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY AND BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The five would have their convictions vacated in 2002 after police DNA testing found another prisoner had committed the rape, with New York City paying them $41 million in damages.
The lawsuit also includes other statements Trump has made about the case, including a 2013 tweet blasting the Ken Burns documentary on the case as a “one-sided piece of garbage that didn’t explain the horrific [sic] crimes of these young men while in park [sic].” It also details an interaction between Yusuf Salaam, now a New York City Councilman, and Trump after the debate in the spin room, where Trump rebuffed an attempt to dialogue about his remarks. Salaam and other members of the Exonerated Five have been campaigning for Vice President Harris and were onstage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago with Reverend Al Sharpton in August.
Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung blasted the lawsuit in a statement, writing: “This is just another frivolous, Election Interference lawsuit, filed by desperate left-wing activists, in an attempt to distract the American people from Kamala Harris’ dangerously liberal agenda and failing campaign.” Defamation lawsuits have been a thorn in Trump’s side – in January, a jury awarded columnist E. Jean Carroll $88.3 million for social media attacks against her, followed by a $5 million judgment in May after he was found liable for sexual abuse.

Stevie Wonder used his Detroit homecoming as an opportunity to clap back at presidential candidate Donald Trump for disrespecting the city during the campaign.
“I just gotta say for the record, I don’t like nobody talking bad about Detroit,” the Motown icon told a sold-out crowd on Tuesday night at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on the latest stop of his Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart tour. He then led the audience in a chant of “Don’t cha do it!,” pointedly aimed at Trump.

Wonder was referencing the Republican candidate’s disparaging remarks during an Oct. 13 speech to the Detroit Economic Club, where he warned that if his Democratic opponent, Vice-President Kamala Harris, is elected, “the whole country will end up being like Detroit — a mess.”

Trending on Billboard

He also called Detroit “a developing area more than most places in China.” His remarks generated equally harsh criticism from Detroit and Michigan civic leaders as well as labor leaders.

Wonder, who has publicly, endorsed Harris as “not just any woman, a wonderful woman, and she has done the work consistently.”

He announced the Sing Our Song! tour less than three weeks before its Oct. 8 opening in Pittsburgh, playing 11 shows in mostly swing states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the wake of his surprise single, “As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart.”

The swipe at Trump — on a night former President Barack Obama was campaigning for Harris nearby at Detroit’s Huntington Center (introduced by Eminem) — was not Wonder’s only political comment on Tuesday.

Later in the show he recited, for the first time ever, the lyrics of a new song, “Politic Playa,” which Wonder said will appear on his next album, Through the Eyes of Wonder, slated for release in March. T

he pointed song includes verses such as “you campaigned throughout the nation, saying you’ll unite the land/But when you get in office, you completely change the plan,” with a chorus that runs, “Politic playa/Why you playin’ politics so wrong/Politic playa/You get what you want, then you’re absent, up and gone.”

Introducing “Village Ghetto Land,” on which he sang accompanied only by a 12-piece string section, Wonder, who was born in Saginaw and moved to Detroit when he was four years old, recalled the violence and poverty he witnessed in the neighborhood in which he grew up.

“I just remember all this stuff was going on…a lot of what we saw then is what we’re seeing now, and that’s unacceptable. We gotta fix that,” he said, turning his attention to politicians as he added, “It’s not about what they say; it’s what they do. And my freedom  and my rights for what I want can’t be bought.”

Wonder took one more shot at Trump while vamping during “Do I Do,” referencing the Economic Club remarks again before saying, “All this has gotta stop…Let’s make America LOVE again.”

Wonder’s Detroit show was also distinguished by some special moments, including a bit of fellow Motowners the Four Tops’ “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)” early on and the tour debut of “My Eyes Don’t Cry,” which had a line of fans on the arena floor doing an impromptu hustle.

During his mid-show break from the stage, meanwhile, Detroit’s Perfecting Greater Grace Singers choir performed Aretha Franklin’s “Until You Come Back to Me (That’s What I’m Gonna Do)” before Wonder’s six backing vocalists paid tribute to the late Frankie Beverly with a rendition of Maze’s “Before I Let Go.”

Wonder also had to overcome some technical problems that shorted out the PA system three times during the night.

After the first — which interrupted “Master Blaster (Jammin’)” — was resolved he thanked the fans “for being patient, ’cause we can work it out, right?” before launching an impromptu rendition of the Beatles’ “We Can Work It Out,” which he covered for a Top 20 single in 1970. The second and third came in rapid succession during “Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing,” and an exasperated Wonder, while remaining composed, commented, “I’m sure the sound crew feels messed up.”

When it was finally fixed, he quipped “Oh, Stevie, Stevie, we forgive the mess up, and we’ll never mess up like that again.”

Wonder has four more dates on the Sing Your Song! tour, which wraps up Nov. 2 in Chicago.

Former President Donald Trump is turning down interviews with outlets that are seen as unfriendly to him and raising concerns.
According to reports, former President Donald Trump is backing out of interviews with multiple outlets days before the November presidential election, with a staffer citing him as being “exhausted”. The claim comes after the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign team canceled interviews with neutral outlets with key audiences including The Shade Room.

Two sources close to the conversation stated that an adviser told producers with The Shade Room that Trump was “exhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could change”, but it could change at any time. The sources also claimed that the adviser suggested Waka Flocka Flame, the veteran rapper who’s a major Trump supporter, as a fill-in interview for the platform.

Trump has also notably backed out of other interviews recently, beginning with CBS’ 60 Minutes a week ago as well as one with NBC and one set for CNBC’s Squawk Box.
When contacted by Politico about his state of alleged exhaustion, Trump’s national press secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted the report stating that it “is unequivocally false.” When asked about his cancellations, Leavitt replied:” That’s B.S. President Trump has never backed down from any interview. This is a man who held a CNN town hall in the middle of the Republican primary, for goodness’ sake.”
While Trump has made media appearances, they’ve been with outlets more friendly to him such as Fox News and most recently on the Six Feet Under podcast hosted by former WWE star Mark “The Undertaker” Calaway.
The cancellations also come as Trump has displayed a pattern of rambling and making outlandish comments in his recent campaign rallies.
In Latrobe, Pennsylvania on Saturday (October 19), while paying tribute to Latrobe native and legendary golfer Arnold Palmer, Trump told a story referring to Palmer’s genitalia. When he’s good, he’s great, and when he’s off message, he’s not so great,” Trump adviser David Urban said in an interview with the New York Times. “I don’t think anyone is really changing their mind at this point, but when he distracts from his biggest, broadest messaging, it’s counterproductive because the Harris campaign uses it to turn out their voters.”
Vice President Kamala Harris has been making multiple media appearances including her interview with Bret Baier of Fox News which proved to be a ratings hit with over nine million viewers tuning in.

We’re only three weeks away from voting for the 47th president of the United States and with the very real chance that Donald “Dementia” Trump can not only win, but also go on to become the first dictator in America’s history, former WWE superstar Dave Bautista is doing his part to get everyone to vote for the most qualified candidate for the presidency, Kamala Harris.

Recently, the Guardians of The Galaxy movie star cut a comedic segment for Jimmy Kimmel Live in which he roasts Donald Trump for his many faults while taking in some boxing practice in the gym. Calling out Donald Trump for the “tough guy” image that so many of his cult members fawn over, Dave Bautista reminds everyone that Donald Trump not only “wears more makeup than Dolly Parton” but also has “jugs, big ones. Like Dolly Parton.”

Cutting ass on Cheeto Jesus for two minutes straight, Bautista reminds everyone that Trump was also known for creeping around beauty pageants, paid for deferments to avoid being sent to Vietnam and of course, “whines like a baby.” We’re low-key surprised he didn’t mention his adultery with porn stars, relationship with Jeffery Epstein, or how he stole money from a children’s cancer charity. Then again, pointing out every single aspect of Donald Trump’s horrible character would take up a good portion of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Check out Dave Bautista roast Donald Trump in the name of democracy below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Donald Trump has often touted his ability to campaign nonstop while claiming that despite his age, his energy is at an optimal level. However, that didn’t seem to be the case when Donald Trump reportedly backed out of an interview with The Shade Room platform with his aides citing exhaustion as the reason.
With Vice President Kamala Harris wading into hostile waters by appearing on Fox News and employing a strategy of visiting non-traditional media platforms, including The Shade Room, Donald Trump has played it relatively safe.
Trump did have some interesting showings this week on the campaign trail, most especially a discussion with John Micklethwait, editor-in-chief of Bloomberg News, which devolved into testy exchanges and avoided answers on tough subjects. That followed a Monday town hall event that took a bizarre turn after it morphed into an all-out dance party after two attendees had a medical emergency.
According to POLITICO, Trump’s appearance on The Shade Room would’ve placed the former president squarely in the sights of a largely young Black audience, a demographic both camps are framing as important to winning the election in November. Vice President Harris, as part of her ongoing media blitz, has appeared on the platform along with podcasts and meeting with media figures such as Charlamagne Tha God among others.
From POLITICO:
The Trump campaign had been in conversations for weeks with The Shade Room about a sit-down interview. The site, which draws an audience that is largely young and Black, hosted an interview with Harris just last week.
But as no interview materialized, Shade Room staff began feeling that feet were being dragged inside Trump’s campaign. No date was ever set, we’re told, but the intention was to try and work toward a sit-down.
In a conversation earlier this week, when describing why an interview hadn’t come together just yet, a Trump adviser told The Shade Room producers that Trump was “exhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could change” at any time, according to two people familiar with the conversations.
As the outlet notes, this shows a pattern of Trump backing out of scheduled interviews but also shared a statement from Trump’s spokesperson that the news of him being exhausted stating that the news is false.
On X, formerly Twitter, people are sharing their thoughts about Donald Trump and his current campaign media appearance schedules.

Earlier this year, Donald Trump was found guilty in a criminal hush money case for paying off porn star Stormy Daniels to silence her during his 2016 presidential campaign. Now, we’ve learned that the adulterer-in-chief once again tried to give her another payout to keep her from speaking about their relationship during his 2024 presidential run.

Last night (Oct. 16), MSNBC journalist Rachel Maddow revealed that a lawyer for Donald J. Trump tried to pay off Stormy Daniels again to not only keep her silent about her affair with Cheeto Jesus and eventual hush money payment, but so that Trump could flat out deny ever sleeping with her without any rebuttal from the former porn star.

Speaking to her fellow MSNBC colleague, Chris Hayes, Maddow explained that Trump and his legal team are once again trying to purchase Daniels’ silence in the waning days of the 2024 presidential election but apparently to no avail saying, “Trump’s lawyer basically offered to take it off the bottom line. They would pretend that Stormy Daniels owed less money to Trump than they actually believed she owed if she also signed an agreement to not talk about Trump.”
For a man in obvious cognitive decline, Trump sure knows he doesn’t want his disturbing sexual history to once again impact his presidential hopes as he knows that if he doesn’t win he’ll more than likely be sentenced to some kind of prison time in one or more of his multiple court cases across the country.
While most people would just call this hearsay as Trump supporters refuse to believe their “Savior” has any kind of dirt on his hands, Stormy actually recorded her lawyer filling her in on Trump’s legal team wanting to once again pay her to keep quiet. A surprised Stormy replied, “Don’t they know that sh*t don’t work?!” to which her lawyer replied, “It’s not gonna happen.”
In any other election this would’ve been major news, but this is Donald Trump. Given his history of fraud, sexual depravity and denial, it’s just on par for the course in today’s political landscape.
So sad.
Check out Rachel Maddow expose Donald Trump’s latest scheme, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Malcolm X might be the last historical figure to come to mind as it relates to the politics of Republican Party presidential hopeful, Donald Trump. However, a Black conservative evoked one of Malcolm X’s most famous quotes regarding “House Negroes” and “Field Negroes,” saying that those in the field are “going for Trump.”
Shelly Wynter, who refers to himself as a Traditionalist conservative, was a guest on CNN this week with anchor Sara Sidner and were having a discussion about the upcoming election race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Wynter referenced Malcolm X’s famous 1963 speech in which the civil rights leader presented a comparison of two types of so-called Negroes, a widely used term at the time to describe Black people in America. In the speech, X lays out that the house Negro was partial to the slave owner and wanted his favor, while the field Negro held the slave owner in contempt.
Wynter, perhaps misunderstanding or misrepresenting X’s quotes, shocked the CNN panel by saying that the “field African American” to use his words would pull the lever for Trump.
“Let’s be honest here, and let’s really be clear what’s being said,” Wynter began in the now viral c. “If you’re an African American man, look, let me boil this election down in the African American community to a very simple [way]. I’ll reference the great Malcolm X. This race is between house African Americans and field African Americans, and a field African Americans going for Trump.”
Wynter added, “I’m talking about your men who build, your men who put things together, your men who work with their hands, your men who do things, not the men who push paper or the men are connected to power and want to continue to be connected to power, I’m talking about the men in our community who are doing the work.”
Sidner was taken aback by Wynter’s analysis and attempted to offer some pushback but was met with overtalking with Wynter deftly evading her question asking if he was putting down Black men with white-collar professions. Michael Blake, the former DNC Vice Chair and an aide to President Barack Obama, didn’t allow Wynter to own the moment and challenged his assertions.
“Is Shelley the house one or the field one?” Blake said. “I’m just trying to understand that part, I’m just trying to understand the one that’s spitting talking points right now. Are you the house Negro and the field Negro that you’re referring to? I’m just trying to make sure. Your question was about denigrating Black people, that literally was your question. You have a Republican fool who was talking right now. You literally just said Black men, this is an election about house or field. This is the nonsense that we are listening to right now by those that are supporting Donald Trump.”
The clip is still making its rounds across social media with many sharing their thoughts on why Shelly Wynter used Malcolm X’s speech to hammer his point him. We’ve got the clip in question and responses from the X platform below.

This CNN discussion goes completely off the rails when radio host Shelley Wynter says: “This race is between house African-Americans and field African-Americans, and the field African-Americans are going for Donald Trump.”

Sometimes the only people who are as obnoxious as Donald Trump are his supporters. Specifically, Forgiato Blow, the face-tatted MAGA rapper who turns stale Republican talking points into the wackest of wack “bars,” proving one can fit all of his political knowledge into a thimble with room to spare.

During a Tuesday Trump rally in Atlanta — where the ex-president declared that Black and Latino voters who are planning to vote for Kamala Harris “gotta have your head examined” — Blow told reporters that women who won’t vote for Trump are “Trump bigots” after offering his Caucasian opinion that “most African American men hate Kamala,” Raw Story reported.

Dumpfuck Maga rapper Forgiato Blow says a lot of women won’t vote for Donald Trump because they are

“I know one thing, I know most African American men hate Kamala,” the white supremcee said. “You know, there’s a lot of women out here that just think Trump’s this and that. They’re just Trump haters, Trump bigots.”
First, let’s address Blow’s bloviating nonsense about how “most African American men hate Kamala.” White MAGA supporters have gotten themselves all in a Miss Millie frenzy over a single New York Times poll that suggests around 20% of Black male voters will vote for Trump. Even if one were to believe that singular poll and ignore the various polls that suggest otherwise, it would still leave around 80% of Black men who will cast their ballots for Harris. We certainly don’t need white men like Blow to whitesplain who we do and don’t hate, especially when his math doesn’t come anywhere near mathing.
As for the female Harris supporters Blow laughably calls “Trump bigots,” maybe the Republican nominee would be doing better with women if he weren’t an accused rapist who pays hush money to prostitutes and has bragged about grabbing random women by the genitals — all while boasting about giving the states control over women’s reproductive rights. That doesn’t make them “bigots,” it makes them voters who don’t vote against their own interests. Hell, Blow once wrote and performed a whole rap song to “show love” to Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who, lest we forget, was under DOJ investigation over allegations of sex trafficking and having sex with minors. Maybe he’s not the one to speak on women and their reluctance to vote for accused predators.
It’s bad enough that Blow is appropriating Black culture while whitesplaining to Black people that we should hate Harris and love his white nationalist MAGA messiah, now he’s mansplaining to women that they’re bigots if they don’t vote for his favorite demonstrable bigot. Make it make sense.

On Monday, October 14, Vice President Kamala Harris told Black men, I see you, and I hear you.
The Harris/Walz campaign is on a mission to strengthen the coalition, specifically with Black voters, where, surprisingly, they lack in comparison to the 2020 Biden/Harris ticket.
Following a moment with former president Barack Obama addressing a small group of Black men directly during a surprise visit to a field office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he had a “Black dad” moment and had some stern words on Black men on the fence about supporting Harris, and suggesting misogynoir is the culprit.
The fallout from Obama’s comments was immediate, with Black men reacting big time. The Harris campaign, which has been out in these political streets a lot lately, has been talking about that exact issue and releasing a new proposal that will provide Black men “with the tools to achieve financial freedom, lower costs to better provide for themselves and their families, and protect their rights.”
The Harris-Walz Policy Broken Down
Part of her proposal, which definitely has cheap Republicans clenching their butt cheeks, is the one million loans that are fully forgivable, up to $20,000, for Black entrepreneurs to start a business. Now, the million-dollar question would be how this would be possible; according to the campaign, the loans would be a product of a new partnership with the Small Business Administration with the addition of some lenders and banks.
The new Harris-Walz policy will also support education training and mentorship programs that lead to good-paying jobs for Black men, plus pathways to becoming teachers.
It also calls for protecting cryptocurrency investments made by Black men, giving them the assurance that their money is safe.
The policy also calls for the launch of a national health initiative that will focus on illnesses that affect Black men disproportionately and also the legalization of marijuana and create opportunities for Black Americans to succeed in the new industry.

The Fallout Continues
While Donald Trump, who has been president, has never come up with any proposals geared toward Black men, with his only claim to being an ally is issuing pardons to rappers, there are still some Black men scoffing at Kamala Harris’ attempt to let Black men know they have a seat at the table.
If you need a perfect breakdown of the discourse surrounding the new policy, look no further than Plies’ social media accounts, where he accurately broke down what

A town hall crowd was left stunned as Donald Trump stopped taking questions, opting to sway and dance to music instead.
On Monday night (October 14), former President Donald Trump was on stage at his town hall in the suburban Philadelphia town of Oaks, Pennsylvania when someone in the audience passed out due to the heat in the venue. As they were being attended to, Trump directed a staffer to play “Ave Maria” as he began to answer questions with South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. But that was halted as someone else passed out. At that point, Trump said: “Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music. Let’s make it into a music ——. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?”

Trump then began just to stand and sway to the music being played, with audience members approving at first with their phones out, recording him. According to USA Today, he cracked a couple of jokes about the lack of cool air in the building while assuring the crowd those who passed out were okay. “Would anybody else like to faint?”, he asked. A few minutes later, Trump said: Personally, I enjoy this – we lose weight, you know? … We can do this, lose four or five pounds, it’s okay with me.” Rufus Wainwright’s “Hallelujah,” Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares To You” and James Brown’s “It’s A Man’s World” played as some filed out. As his usual closing song, the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.” began to play, Trump appeared confused that the crowd was still present. “There’s nobody leaving,” he said. “What’s going on?” Noem looked on awkwardly as a staffer came on stage with a sheet of paper. After a bit of conversation, Trump waved, pumped his fist and walked off stage to “Memory” from the Cats musical. The entire scene lasted 39 minutes.
The situation shocked many observers online who managed to watch the town hall. Some commented on how Trump appears to be in a distinct cognitive decline. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, actor Jon Cryer wrote: “After his Coachella rally ended in a fiasco, now his Pennsylvania town hall has gone off the rails. What is happening to the Trump campaign?” Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris shared a post capturing the moment on X, writing: “Hope he’s okay.”
