Fans and followers of Ryan Garcia know that the outspoken athlete is an avid Donald Trump supporter and also a conspiracy theorist (as are most Trumpians). Now, the professional boxer is attempting to turn his positive PED test into a conspiracy theory of its own—he’s blaming it on his public endorsement of VonShitzhispants, allegedly.
According to Raw Story, Garcia took to his X account to blast out a brand new conspiracy theory as to why he tested positive for the banned PED, ostarine, claiming that the powers that be set him up after he showed his support for Donald Trump not too long ago.
“Hmm I’m seen with trump
And now I’m positive for steroids
This is a straight attack
Crazy.”
Yeah, unfortunately for Garcia these kind of conspiracy theories blurted out online only work when they come from Donald Trump himself, right-wing leaning media or white people.
Ryan Garcia is a Mexican boxer whom MAGA supporters have no interest in, well, supporting. Still, the man did get some validation from Trumpians on social media but not to the extent where it would cause outrage among the far-right and call for a boycott of the sport of boxing or something ridiculous.
And ridiculous is what this is as Trump and Trump supporters have a well-known knack for refusing to take accountability for their misdeeds and blaming it on the powers that be whenever they’re caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
Per Raw Story:
His message caught the eye of MSNBC writer Ja’han Jones, who published Thursday a scathing analysis of the professional boxer’s take, arguing, “the tone of his denials…are dripping with Trumpian deflection and evasions.”
“Garcia made expletive-laden comments that echoed rhetoric he’s pushed in the past, claiming the report was probably released by ‘pedophile’ elites he says he’s been ‘trying to take down,’” Jones writes.
Jones notes Garcia offered a “defense” the writer suggested did more harm than good: “Even if a motherf—– was on steroids, right?” Garcia reportedly wrote, “You still got hit.”
“Garcia and Trump are clearly a fitting match: Both know how it feels when their declared victories are called into question,” Jones wrote. “And both are clearly unashamed to spread salacious conspiracy theories to push back against stories that could damage their already-shaky reputations as winners.”
Where this goes from here is anyone’s guess. But we doubt that Ryan Garcia’s conspiracy theory behind his positive PED test will gain much traction going forward because, well, he’s not beloved in MAGA land. So good luck with that, mano.
What do y’all think of Ryan Garcia’s latest defense of his positive PED test? Let us know in the comment section below.

The 2024 Presidential Election is just months away, and the orange menace, aka Donald Trump, is on a mission to pry away Black and Latino voters from President Biden, but his plan is still the purest of jigs.
The Associated Press reports that former disgraced president Donald Trump wants to hold some sort of big campaign event at Madison Square Garden featuring Black hip-hop artists (probably Afroman) and athletes.
Trump also wants to visit places like Chicago, Detroit, and Atlanta and meet with local leaders of color, according to his aides, in hopes of flipping Democratic constituents.
Five months from what will be one of the most consequential Presidential elections of our lifetime, Trump and his sorry a** team have not done any outreach to the Black and Latino voters.
They also made some decisions that indicate the Trump campaign could care less about connecting with Black and Brown voters.
Per the Associated Press:
The Trump campaign removed its point person for coalitions and hasn’t announced a replacement. The Republican Party’s minority outreach offices across the country have been shuttered and replaced by businesses that include a check-cashing store, an ice cream shop and a sex-toy store. And campaign officials concede they are weeks away from rolling out any targeted programs.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has struggled to navigate a messy transition into the general election plagued by staffing issues, his personal legal troubles and the “Make America Great Again” movement’s disdain for so-called “identity politics.” There are signs of frustration on the ground, where Republicans believe Trump has a real opportunity to shift the election by cutting into President Joe Biden’s advantages with voters of color.
Longtime Trump ally and Black pastor Darrell Scott spoke on the Trump campaign’s lack of outreach to voters of color, adding, “To be quite honest, the Republican Party does not have a cohesive engagement plan for Black communities.”
He continued, “What it has are conservatives in communities of color who have taken it upon themselves to head our own initiatives.”
Now, if you ask Trump, he might argue his Atlanta Chick-fil-A stunt, a staged appearance at a bodega in Harlem, his limited edition wack gold sneakers, or his claiming Blacks relate to him because of his indictments is his attempt at making inroads with Black voters.
If that is the case, he needs to rework his strategy because we don’t believe him; he needs more people.

A reporter caught Donald Trump dozing off during his Manhattan “hush money” trial again, and social media was quick to poke fun at him.Former president Donald Trump was back in the Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday (April 16) for the jury selection in his “hush money” trial involving adult film star Stormy Daniels. But the proceedings seemed to have a different toll on Trump, as a reporter in the courtroom observed him falling asleep. Frank G. Runyeon, who is covering the trial for the legal analysis website Law360, detailed the septuagenarian’s slumber in steps in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
“Trump’s head slowly dropped, his eyes closed. It jerked back upward,” Runyeon wrote. “He adjusts himself. Then, his head droops again. He straightens up, leaning back. His head [droops] for a third time, he shakes his shoulders. Eyes closed still. His head drops. Finally, he pops his eyes open.” Other reporters present in the courtroom also noticed Trump’s nodding off, which some noted lasted a minute or more.
The moment caught on like wildfire on social media, with the hashtag #SleepyDonald rising in the trending categories. Alina Habba, one of Trump’s lawyers and a frequent spokesperson, dismissed the idea as a “remarkable story at best,” before adding: “There were a tremendous amount of emotions being heard yesterday. I wasn’t there so I can’t comment on that. I find that to be a ridiculous thought though.” Trump himself has bragged that he doesn’t need a lot of sleep in the past. Maggie Haberman of the New York Times also pointed it out, also noting that he dozed off in court on Monday (April 15).
Trump’s sleepiness was still a hot topic on the court’s off day on Wednesday (April 17), with one expert stating to The Daily Beast that the significance of the trial as he is the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election is weighing on him. “Anyone that is on the campaign trail and fighting all these indictments against him might not be sleeping well,” said Dr. Chris Winter, a sleep expert and advisor to Mattress Firm.

The value of shares in Trump Media, the parent company of Truth Social, has been cut in half since being available on the public trading market.
According to reports, shares of Trump Media & Technology Group, the company that operates the Truth Social social media network, closed at $32.59 Friday (April 12). Despite a late rally, the price reflects a 50% drop from its original peak closing price of $66.22 when it was first made available for public trading on the NASDAQ stock market on March 27. The drop has shaved billions off of the value of the stock, of which the lion’s share (at 57.6% of all shares) is owned by former president Donald Trump. Trump owns 78.75 shares of TMTG stock. Its value was previously listed as $5.2 billion, closing with a value of $2.6 billion.
The slide comes as observers have cast aspersions about the validity of the TMTG stock. IAC and Expedia chairman, Barry Diller, went on record in an interview with CNBC calling the public trading of the stock “ridiculous,” comparing it to the “meme stock” that has been associated with GameStop and AMC Entertainment since 2021, which was valued at $700 and $500 at the time. “The company has no revenue. It’s a scam, just like everything he’s ever been involved in is some sort of con,” Diller said.
When asked about his opinion of those buying the stock, he replied: “I think they’re dopes.” Representatives for TMTG fired back at Diller. “It is unsurprising to see die-hard Trump haters and leftwing flacks blow a gasket now that Truth Social has become a public company that, still today, refuses to suppress political expression that contradicts the narratives they want to enforce,” they said.
Donald Trump is currently in New York City as the jury selection process has begun for his “hush money” trial in a Manhattan courtroom Monday (April 15), the first-ever criminal trial of a former president. The company filed a motion to issue 21.4 million additional public stock shares earlier in the day. The impact of the news plunged the value of shares down another 15% at the beginning of trading. The additional shares cannot be released until a registration takes effect with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to the preliminary prospectus filing.

Donald Trump is due in court Monday (April 15) in New York to stand trial in the criminal hush money case involving adult film star Stormy Daniels. As a result, the hashtag #TrumpTrial is trending on X, formerly Twitter, with memes and jokes coming in by the dozens.
Several outlets, such as The Hill and CNN are covering the trial of Donald Trump with up-to-the-minute updates from inside the Manhattan courtroom. Trump is standing trial for a criminal matter involving hush money paid to Stormy Daniels to conceal the nature of their relationship ahead of the 2016 election. Trump would go on to defeat his Democratic Party opponent Hillary Clinton but only served one term.
Jury selection begins today with dozens of New York residents going through the process before 12 jurors and six alternates are chosen. It isn’t known when this selection period will end but it can be expected to take days if not longer.
The trial marks the first time a former or current U.S. president ever faced a criminal trial and it also makes him the first former president to be criminally indicted. This matter adds to several mounting legal issues that the business mogul is enduring. Trump is also facing three other indictments, including election meddling in Georgia. He is the frontrunner for the Republican Party and has a strong support base that seemingly looks past his legal mishaps.
Trump opponents online have taken to social media to voice their displeasure and the aforementioned #TrumpTrial features several reactions to the announcement of the trial that don’t exactly land in the favor of Donald Trump.

A new report revealed that the Truth Social platform of Donald Trump managed to stay afloat due to a Russian banker being federally investigated.
After Truth Social, the social media network owned by former President Donald Trump went public last week (and promptly lost some value after its initial public offering), new information showed that it almost went under in 2022 if not for receiving emergency loans. But one of those loans from a Russian-American businessman under federal investigation is sounding alarms about Trump potentially benefiting from money laundering by someone tied to a foreign power during his campaign to be re-elected as president of the United States.
According to reporting from The Guardian, leaked documents showed that the loan in question came from the ES Family Trust, which worked like a shell company for Anton Postolnikov, a Russian-American who co-owns the Paxum Bank registered in Dominica. Postolnikov is the subject of a years-long investigation conducted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which began when one of his associates was found to be insider trading. A further look found that Postolnikov managed to get the money from the trust because the bank couldn’t loan the money since it didn’t have a U.S. banking license. The parent company of Truth Social, Trump Media and Technology Group, received two loans – $2 million in December 2021, and $6 million in February 2022.
The story gets more intricate, as it’s revealed that Postolnikov is the nephew of Aleksandr Smirnov, who was once the chief financial executive and first Deputy Minister of Justice of Russia and a close friend of President Vladimir Putin. Another detail of note is the involvement of Michael Shvartsman, an associate of Postolnikov who was charged with money laundering last month. Shvartsman and his brother Gerald pleaded guilty on Wednesday (April 3) to participating in an insider trading scheme related to the merger in court in New York which reportedly netted them and a third man $22 million. Both men face a sentence of 20 years in prison.
The startling news comes as Trump could potentially make $4 billion from Truth Social’s merger with the Digital World Acquisition Corporation. Postolnikov has not been charged with a crime, and a representative at Paxum Bank threatened legal action when contacted by the press.

On Tuesday (April 2), GOP candidate and current commander-in-criminal-indictments Donald Trump took the xenophobic bigot tour he calls his presidential campaign to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he called brown people who entered the U.S. illegally “animals” and declared that they’re “not human.”
“A 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia was barbarically murdered by an illegal alien animal,” Trump said in reference to the violent death of Laken Riley, a nursing student at Augusta University who was found dead in a wooded area at the University of Georgia campus in Athens on Feb. 22, and who authorities believe was killed by an undocumented migrant from Venezuela.
“The Democrats said please don’t call them animals, they’re humans. I said no, they’re not humans, they’re not humans, they’re animals. And Nancy Pelosi told me that. She said, ‘Please don’t use the word animals, sir, when you’re talking about these people.’ I said, ‘I’ll use the word ‘animal’ because that’s what they are.’”
Since news of Riley’s death broke, MAGA conservatives have been exploiting her story to craft a racist narrative that migrants coming into the U.S. from our southern border are causing violent crime to spiral out of control because they can’t be bothered to do the bare minimum research it would take to know there haven’t been any surges in crimes in the cities most migrants have come to, and, in fact, in many of those cities, crime rates have fallen.
Trump, in his usual bigoted fashion, is taking things a step further and using this single case of a citizen allegedly being murdered by an illegal immigrant as an excuse to completely dehumanize migrants whether they have done anything wrong or not.
This is, after all, the same orangey-white nationalist who previously likened migrants to Hannibal Lecter and claimed many of them speak languages so foreign (as in “from the planet Mars”) that no linguists in the developed world can translate. And lest we forget, Trump entered the political arena generalizing Mexican immigrants as “rapists” who are “bringing drugs” and “bringing crime.” (Now, he’s out here slanging $60 Bibles and $400 “Air Treasons” because his own alleged crimes appear to have caught up with him financially.)
A vote for Trump is a vote for the normalization of outright bigotry. This much is clear.

Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social took a huge dive on the stock market as more details on its earnings were revealed.
On Monday (April 1), investors got their first look at the financial data of the parent company behind Truth Social, the social media platform of former President Donald Trump. And what they saw led to the values of shares in the company plummeting sharply, leading to a billion dollars shaved off of the value of Trump’s personal stake in the Trump Media and Technology Group.
According to reports, the regulatory finding released by the company to go public on the NASDAQ stock market led to Trump Media stock sinking 25% in value to $46 a share as opposed to $79 a share the week before. The data also revealed that the company made $4.1 million last year in revenue, closing out with a fourth quarter earning of $750,000 but a net loss of $58 million overall. As for Trump’s stake in the company, which is estimated to be 78.5 million shares or 57% of all shares, the value of those shares dropped to $3.64 billion on Tuesday (April 2), from $6.25 billion previously. Trump Media went public after a reverse merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp.
A further report from Forbes states that Truth Social is being viewed as a “meme stock” similar to the rise seen with AMC and GameStop stock in 2021, which surged thanks to the rush of consumers buying up the stock when it was so low. Trump supporters swooped in to buy shares as Truth Social went public, but it couldn’t prevent the value drop. “Trump Media’s 1,470 price-to-sales ratio, which compares a company’s total valuation to its last 12-month sales, is exponentially higher than social media peers Reddit and Snap’s respective 9 and 4 price-to-sales ratios,” the publication wrote.
The news comes as Trump managed to successfully post a $175 million bond late Monday evening in his appeal of a massive civil fraud judgment against him in New York to prevent the seizure of his assets. The bond, lowered from $464 million after Trump’s attorneys stated that bond companies refused to back him for the amount, was secured through the Knight Specialty Insurance Company, a company owned by the Hankey Group, whose owner is an avowed Trump supporter. As for Trump’s potential to sell his shares in Truth Social, he is barred from doing so for six months.

A Black Donald Trump backed-candidate running to be governor of North Carolina had more extremist comments about Beyoncé online revealed recently.
The incendiary North Carolina Republican politician Mark Robinson is running to be governor of the state, and another set of comments unearthed from his social media accounts find that he went on a rampage bashing Beyoncé. According to reports, the extremist candidate backed by Donald Trump had kept up an ongoing commentary on the superstar on his Facebook account. In one post back in 2017, Robinson wrote: “Person; Beyoncé is a role model!” Me; “The only person that butt shakin’, devil worshipping, skank is a role model to is people who want a fast track to Hell.”
Robinson – the current Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina who is Black – went even further, claiming that Beyonce was teaching “young women how to be hyper-sexual w—-s.’” In another uncovered post made two years later in 2019, he claimed that the “Cuff Em” singer’s music sounded like “Satanic chants.” “Seriously, her songs sound like they say stuff like “satan laughs as you rot in hell” if [you] play them backwards. SUPER WEIRD,” he wrote in the caption.
He even threw a jab at Jay-Z, claiming that the rap mogul “teaches our young men how to be foul-mouthed thugs and his wife teaches our young women to be hyper-sexual whores… I guess y’all are okay with that and so is Hilary Clinton,” Robinson wrote in another Facebook post from 2016. The posts fall in line with other outrageous posts that he has made in the past such as quoting Adolf Hitler and calling the Parkland school shooting survivors pushing for gun control “spoiled, angry, know-it-all all children.” The former furniture worker is actively courting the state’s evangelical population, which comprises a good part of the right-wing-leaning state.
Robinson has saved a lot of ire for African Americans, claiming that the community “celebrates the very lawlessness and violence that is killing its future right in front of them.”He is currently set to face the state’s attorney general, Josh Stein in November. Stein, who is running as a Democrat, referred to him as “bleak and divisive, consumed by spite and hate,” in a recent interview. The 55-year-old has also gone on record as supporting Trump’s false claims of the 2020 presidential election being stolen from him.

Former President Donald Trump is selling a new Bible through his social media platform – but the details of the deal are worse than you think.
Embattled former President Donald Trump is working to raise funds for his current presidential campaign – as well as the impending bond in his New York fraud case – so he’s now selling a new product. On Monday, he released a three-minute video on his Truth Social social media platform where he presented the “God Bless The USA Bible”. “I’m proud to endorse and encourage you to get this Bible,” Trump begins in the video, saying “All Americans need a Bible in their home and I have many. It’s my favorite book. It’s a lot of people’s favorite book.”
[embedded content]
The “God Bless The USA” Bible is being offered to Trump’s supporters for $59.99. Details in the link reveal that it contains the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. It also contains a copy of country singer Lee Greenwood’s 1980 anthem “God Bless The USA” – in fact, the “God Bless The USA” Bible is essentially the same one that Greenwood released for sale in 2021 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and has been linked to rising Christian Nationalism in the country. A further examination of the link at Greenwood’s website now shows him in a photograph with Trump and one sentence that declares that “this is the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!”
More information in the frequently asked questions section reveals this fact: “GodBlessTheUSABible.com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms,” which is similar to the same deal he made regarding his gold “Trump sneakers” which he promoted at a sneaker convention in Philadelphia last month. According to the Associated Press, the financial details of the deal haven’t been revealed.
Trump’s Bible promotion is the latest appeal to his white evangelical followers. In 2016 while running for office, he infamously said “Two Corinthians” instead of “Second Corinthians” during a speech at Liberty University. In 2020 while president, he stood on the steps of St. John’s Church near the White House after directing law enforcement to forcibly remove racial justice protesters from the park nearby and posed with a copy of the Bible in his hand.
