Yung Miami and Armon Wiggins got into a wild back-and-forth on social media which caught the attention of DJ Akademiks. What has ensued is quite a bit of mess and we’ve got details down below.
From what we learned on X, formerly Twitter, Armon Wiggins, a popular YouTube and social media personality, shared a clip of DJ Akademiks slamming Yung Miami by calling her music career and other endeavors a failure which prompted a response from the City Girls rapper.

From there, things escalated after Wiggins fired back at YM’s money jab, which then prompted Big Ak to go even harder with his long-running disdain of the Florida rapper.
“Failed? LMAOOOOO I got more money than both of yall. Made a million in 15 days off a card game! Got all yall crying both a podcast when I was just trying some sh*t what exactly do yall do besides reporting bout B*TCHES ALL DAY??” YM wrote in her initial salvo.
Akademiks replied with, “Don’t let her talk that money talk wit u. N*gga why she ain’t get on that wit me when I was violating. N*gga only way on earth she got more bread than BIG AK is if she got it by selling that 30 year old P*SSY to PUFF DADDY. A whole billionaire.”
YM and Wiggins continued their intense argument and it appears the pair have crossed paths before.
“I saw you in person you was on MUTE REMEMBER????” YM said to Wiggins, who fired back with, “No I don’t remember that. I remember YOU being RUDE acting as if you had a STICK up your a$$. Remember I OFFERED you a seat! You know RIGHT before you got PUT OUT of Yo Gotti section remember? AND LETS BE CLEAR! I AM THE REASON YOU & EVERYONE you CAME WITH was AT THE BEYONCE CONCERT! ..I SIGNED OFF ON THAT SWEETIE..Remember you couldn’t even get tickets in your OWN CITY.”

Ak, who doesn’t know the meaning of subtlety, was relentless in his attack on YM despite most of the timeline slamming him for keeping things going.

Yeah, it’s all very messy and the reactions from X are all over the place. Of course, Yung Miami being linked with Sean “Diddy” Combs amid the mogul’s recent troubles gets mentioned, but YM fires back at Armon Wiggins and DJ Akademiks, the latter of which YM shares a timeline of questionable comments and actions from the streaming personality.

DJ Akademiks comes into the new year with some serious allegations hanging over his head.
*Trigger warning: this article contains descriptions of alleged sexual assault.*
Spotted on HipHopDX, Ziya Abashae, DJ Akademiks’ ex-girlfriend, accused the media personality of sexual assault during an Instagram Live on Saturday (December 30).
Abashae claims that the former Everyday Struggle host, along with two other friends, sexually assaulted her.
Per HipHopDX:
“For you to pretend you didn’t do anything? That I just went to your house and I’m some thot, like we didn’t know each other for 2 years,” she said in the video. “You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not. I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”
After claiming that a rape kit had been conducted following the alleged incident, she continued: “I look crazy right now but I’m not going to stand here and let this man continue to lie about me. That’s not what happened Akademiks, you know that’s not what happened.”
Abashae’s claims came after the podcaster born Livingston Allen said that she took part in a consensual orgy.

Akademiks’ claims that he was drunk during the ordeal have come under scrutiny with the release of a video showing him very much aware. At the same time, a woman (presumably Abashae) can be heard screaming in the background.

DJ Akademik’s History of Toxicity
The problematic podcaster does have a history of being “ain’t sh*t” regarding dealing with women. In 2022, video footage of Akademiks in a physical altercation with his then-girlfriend surfaced with him yelling, “I’m the prize.”
All of this drama followed an appearance on The Fresh and Fit Podcast.
Akademiks’ girlfriend then tries to attack a red-haired woman standing behind him, and he then shoves her against the wall while continuing to yell at her.
More fighting ensues. AK’s girlfriend then knocks off his hat and even swings on the red-haired woman with the Off The Record host saying, “Stop It.”
Another woman steps in before a security guard intervenes to break it all up.

Social media has been very active, with most people thrilled to finally light the Akademiks pack up and get him out of here for good.

You can see more of those reactions in the gallery below.

Is Diddy trying to snuff out DJ Akademiks? We highly doubt it, but Akademiks feels like the man who dubbed himself “Brother Love” is looking to put the love on him something serious.

On Sunday (Nov. 12), DJ Akademiks livestreamed a story in which he revealed that Diddy invited AK to party with him while he was over in London, but the controversial DJ thought twice about accepting the personal invitation as he felt it was a “set up” and he’d never make it back to the states alive. Saying “Yo, real talk, I think Diddy tried to line me on some Tupac sh*t. Like yo, real talk. I think Diddy tried to ‘Pac me. This sh*t was crazy.”

We reiterate that we highly doubt Diddy would risk doing anything that would run afoul with the law these days given that many are speculating that Kefee D is giving the feds his version of how Diddy was involved in the murder of Tupac Shakur, but Akademiks feels like he may be in Diddy’s crosshairs thanks to his drama with Saucy Santana and Yung Miami. Knowing how ridiculous things have the potential to get, Akademiks went into how he thought things could go left had he met up with Diddy.
“What’s really gon’ happen is this: I’m gonna show up, and all of a sudden out of the Sprinter that Diddy is in, you want me to flex the little batty fish like Saucy Santana jumping out, just moving wacky on me. Like yo, just twerking in front of my face or some dumb shit like that. Like, come on bruv. Or, I’ma pull up thinking we bout to pop some Cîroc and DeLeon. I’m thinking, ‘This about to be sweet.’ All of a sudden, I’ma see that Yung Miami, that ratchet shit coming at me. Like yo, so no win situation.”
After going into the possibly outcomes of what could’ve happened, AK ultimately decided to play it safe and keep to himself while out in the UK saying “Nah, I ain’t go to no party. Hell nah. I thought it was a set-up, to keep it real. I swear I was like, I think he invited me, that little fish. Saucy was gonna hop on and I’m about to tell people, ‘Yo, smoke that bitch.’”
Saucy got shooters in across the pond?! We don’t know, but what we do know is that Saucy Santana got DJ Akademiks shedding tears and paranoid as hell these days. Hip-Hop in 2023, b.

What do y’all think of DJ Akademiks turning down Diddy’s invite to party? Was he smart to do so, or is he just plain ol’ paranoid? Let us know in the comments section below.

If nothing else, Saucy Santana has proved that there are no hairs on his tongue when it comes to beefing with anyone online. And now the openly gay artist has some choice words for one Wack 100.

After getting into a very public spat with DJ Akademiks last week, Saucy is now taking aim at Wack 100 for siding with the controversial DJ in this drama and apparently trying to get a gay man named Donat to put hands on Santana as to not run afoul of the LGBTQ community, too. Taking to his Instagram page to address the situation, Santana went off on the newly formed trio. “Akademiks done went and did a link-up with Wack 100 and another Powder Puff Girl, sitting on a m*thaf*ckin’ couch, face full of mu*haf*ckin’ fear, and then you got Wack 100 calling another bisexual boy, like he gonna do something to me! B*tch, who? B*tch, where?”

Then pointing out the fact that Akademiks actually started crying about the beef due to fears of getting canceled by the LGBTQ community, Saucy stated “I was gonna leave you alone once you started muthaf**kin’ cryin’, but since you wanna keep chattin’, and you done did a whole bad b*tch link-up, I got something for you.”
Saucy already said what he was gonna do to Akademiks after beating him down, so we know what he got for AK. He’s fittin’ to American Me DJ Akademiks on some “Don’t scream, you might like it” ish, b.
Then double-S went after Wack 100 with no fear saying, “Wack 100, you a b*tch! That’s why he came and found you!” You a b*tch a** n*gga, too. You’re the manager that’s in love with Blueface, that was mad because Blueface go with Chrisean, right? That’s you. Mad at a n*gga about his b*tch.”
Man, we have a feeling that this ain’t gonna end well. We hope they make some kind of truce because ain’t none of this that serious.
Check out Saucy Santana go off below, and let us know your thoughts on this wild situation in the comments section.

DJ Akademiks is back in another public beef, this time with Saucy Santana, and the back-and-forth between the two has gotten a little toxic. Saucy Santana said something that seemingly got to DJ Akademiks, who appeared to hold back tears explaining that he was bothered by the beef.
As we explained in a story yesterday, DJ Akademiks attracted the ire of Saucy Santana after he blasted the City Girls’ latest album RAW during a stream. Santana, who is close to the group, more specifically group member Yung Miami, used a slur to describe how Ak seems to only go after women.
Both men exchanged slurs and insults with Ak inviting Santana to his headquarters to discuss things. Santana, using X, formerly Twitter, shot down the invitation and reportedly posted a video saying he would physically violate Ak.
In a new Rumble (or Twitch?) stream, Ak can be seen discussing Santana’s threat of assault and begins to say how much the jabs bothered him. As he’s speaking, Ak’s voice cracks and he can be seen choking back tears.
Ak begins by saying he doesn’t want to respond to Santana in a way that will get his popular stream canceled. Some viewers online are noting that Ak appears to be emotional because he can’t be homophobic in retaliation, while others believe it’s a matter of insecurity.
Either way, folks on X are sharing their opinions and thoughts about this explosive beef. We’ve got reactions from all sides below. We’ve also got the video in question below. Do be warned that there is explicit language in the clip so mind your surroundings.

DJ Akademiks is embroiled in a war of words with Saucy Santana that took a turn after the pair began slinging homophobic slurs towards each other. The beef stems from DJ Akademiks throwing shots at City Girls, and group member Yung Miami is a close friend of Saucy Santana.
It appears that the issue was sparked over the weekend after DJ Akademiks took to his Twitch stream to review the new City Girls album, RAW (an acronym for Real Ass Whores). Ak was no fan of the album, despite it landing on the Billboard 200 charts, and delivered his critique in a brash fashion as he’s known to do.

Catching wind of Ak’s review, Saucy Santana called the streamer the “f-word” slur over him attacking Yung Miami, the City Girls, and GloRilla, harping on the fact that Ak had a lot of smoke for women rappers.
Akademiks went on a signature rant during a Twitch stream and flung a number of homophobic slurs, including using a term that comes from Jamaican patois among other choice terms. Ak then invited Santana to his streaming headquarters for the pair to have it out, which Santana took as an invitation to throw hands.
GloRilla also got into the mix via X, formerly known as Twitter, sharing a reply that Santana requoted that some took as a shot at Ak before actually addressing the media figure by name.

We’re almost certain that this won’t be the last of this back-and-forth between DJ Akademiks and Saucy Santana.

The heated beef between Chicago rapper Vic Mensa and host DJ Akademiks is now squashed, as each cites their personal growth as the main reason.

On Monday (September 18th), the “Feel That” rapper appeared on the latest episode of the Off The Record podcast hosted by the DJ and media personality who slyly announced it in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter: “So… I Sat Down with Vic Mensa Again after our last explosive encounter in 2017.”
[embedded content]

The episode was a surprise to many who recall the beef between the two being seriously savage. It began in 2017 as Vic Mensa appeared on Complex’s Everyday Struggle which Akademiks hosted alongside Joe Budden. He took offense to Akademiks’ coverage of drill rappers in his hometown of Chicago, going directly at him for “sensationalizing” the violence. “I wanted to slap you in your face, honestly,” Mensa said at the time. “And I’m just seeing you here. I’m like, this is a tame environment, so I will keep it to my words.”
This time around, he spoke about the reason why he was so upset. “In all honesty, I was coming from a place of pain man,” Vic Mensa said. “Tray 57, who I knew as Nigel that I grew up with, he went in the direction that he did and he became a drill artist.” He continued: “He was always gangbanging and when he passed away, I learned about it on your platform the next day. You know, it was peppered with certain judgments and insults.”
For his part, Akademiks reflected on his actions at the time later in the episode, admitting to being “insensitive” to the violence in Chicago at that time and how it was affecting people. He also took accountability for having a role in “inciting” more of those issues through his The War In Chiraq YouTube channel and confessed that ego played a part in his not doing so earlier.
Vic Mensa and Akademiks spoke at length – over two hours – discussing that past conflict and also the nagging perception that drill rap and Hip-Hop culture overall has been trying to shrug off. Mensa also talked about the process of creating his new album, Victor.

Keyboard warrior DJ Akademiks had time for TDE’s president Terrence “Punch” Henderson after he claimed he tried to “bully” him for being out-of-pocket while talking about SZA.

Last week, DJ Akademiks continued his trend of being extremely disrespectful to women when he hopped on the alt-right network Rumble and engaged in a ridiculous rant where he disgustingly talked about the singer’s body, weight, and appearance, calling her “a fat mini Lizzo,” and claiming she a “botched BBL.”

Spotted on HipHopDX, Punch, who is known for speaking his mind on social media, responded to Akademik’s foolishness over the weekend.
Punch Was Tired of DJ Akademiks Nonsense
“Man I’ve been so conflicted the [past] couple of days as to address this dude publicly or not,” Punch wrote in a since-deleted X post. “I’m not playing no internet games… He have to answer for those disrespectful things he said about SZA.”
Akademiks couldn’t help but respond, hopped in his dark room, turned on his video camera, and “clapped back” at the record executive, accusing Punch of trying to “Suge Knight” him.
“None of y’all are Suge Knight. You don’t strike fear in my heart. There is no, ‘Oh my God, he’s going to get me!” Akademik’s rant begins. “I did content about the biggest killers in the world in Chicago. I’ve talked about the worst people you could imagine … I won’t be sitting here scared of an older n-gga who claims he’s a ‘thug.”
He continues his rant, puffing up his chest, saying, “Mr. Punch from TDE, you didn’t have to delete your tweet … I’m not scared of you. I don’t know nobody that’s scared of you, and I don’t know nobody that would think you be doing nothing.
“So please, pipe down, and rather than delete the tweet, don’t send the tweet. Because if you look at my tweet history, I leave them up for all to see.”
DJ Akademiks Claims Punch Is A Hypocrite
He wasn’t done, accusing Punch of being a hypocrite, adding, “This is why we’re laughing: you’re tweeting [about how] you’re not playing internet games while you’re tweeting it! This is why I said y’all are not Suge Knight. Suge Knight wouldn’t give a nice proper warning and then delete the tweet. I don’t think he’d tweet at all.
“I just want to let you know, if [the tweet] was even remotely aimed at me, it was received, laughed at, and sent back. We’re not scared of none of you n-ggas.”

[embedded content]
Oh The Irony
Hilariously, the man best known for popping sh*t from behind his keyboard accused Punch of being an “online gangsta” telling him to focus on running his record label.
“Listen, you guys have some great artists, and I’m hoping you guys can put out music a little more frequently, just as the fan in me speaking,” he added. “Put your record out, be quiet. That’s about it … Stop acting gangsta online. If you was gonna do something, you wouldn’t tweet it. Stop it, brother, please. You look pathetic.
“And by the way, I don’t want a response for this neither. Work your record, you’re a record executive. Yeah, you got a couple gangstas on payroll. Whoop de doo! We’re all millionaires. Everybody could pay for some dumb shit to get done. You don’t wanna die, I don’t wanna die. You don’t wanna go to jail, I don’t wanna go to jail. Shut up with your tweeting.”
We are VERY SURE DJ Akademiks would never say any of these things to any of these individuals in person.

Erykah Badu remains one of the most dynamic entertainers of all time, and her social media savvy has been on high display over the years. The talented singer and producer once again showed off her clever wit, taking a shot at DJ Akademiks while harkening back to an old joke that had the Internet in shambles.
After the verdict came down for Tory Lanez in connection to the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident, fans took to Akademik’s live stream and one person said that Erykah Badu use her “magic” on him. The comment got under Ak’s skin and he went on to insult Badu by calling her old and mentioning her relationship with rappers Andre 3000, Common, The D.O.C., and Jay Electronica.

Part of Ak’s ire was aimed at a moment on his old program, Everday Struggle, which he co-hosted with Nadeska Alexis and Joe Budden. During that 2018 chat, Badu compared Ak to Jerry, the mouse from the Tom & Jerry cartoons, and the memes exploded on social media at the time.
Still harboring that hurt, Ak promised to keep insulting Badu at his leisure. However, Badu used the moment to promote her popular Badu P*ssy incense, this time repackaging the “Badu P*ssy” with an image of Jerry on the front of the box.

The item swiftly sold out, which prompted Badu to acknowledge the speed at which the items were sold. If you check the description of Badu P*ssy, she takes a dig at Akademiks by suggesting he’s the “biggest p*ssy in the culture.”

Check out the tweets from Erykah Badu below.

DJ Akademiks has to explain to himself yet again. Lil Yachty is calling him out for saying Playboi Carti got him to change his style.

As spotted on HipHopDX, the Quality Control Music talent is feeling a ways about the media personality. During a recent Twitch stream, the podcaster made some wild claims about Big Boat. “Lil Yachty in my studio told me, this is before he dropped ‘Poland’ and ‘Strike’ and all this other sh*t. N****a, he said he’s in the studio with Carti, and Carti made him change his entire style. Facts,” he stated. AK went on to add “Once I heard that, I was like, ‘Damn! Carti’s like that?!’ Sorry, I have nothing more to say. Carti’s that n***a.”

Naturally, the claims quickly landed on Lil Yachty’s radar. On Sunday, July 9, the “One Night” rapper took to Twitter to refute the allegations. “@Akademiks u r so insane, I didn’t tell u this at all. Stop drinking bro. I said tyler encouraged me to take that route. Wtf,” he wrote.
Earlier this year, Lil Yachty spoke to Billboard magazineduring his promotional run for Let’s Start Here. In the interview, he credited Tyler, The Creator as one of his biggest supporters to change his musical approach up. “I would love to do a project with Tyler [The Creator],” he said. “He’s the reason I made this album. He’s the one who told me to do it, just go for it. He’s so confident and I have so much respect for him because he takes me seriously, and he always has.”
You can see Lil Yachty’s response below. DJ Akademiks has yet to respond.
