Diddy has yet another lawsuit that has come his way. Sara from Da Band has filed a $60 million dollar claim against him for harassment and more.
People is reporting that Sara Rivers, formerly known as Sara Stokes, who successfully landed a Bad Boy Entertainment record deal by competing on Making The Band, has filed a legal grievance against her former CEO. The lawsuit is 148 pages long and details how she alleged suffered under Diddy’s tyranny during her run as the group’s only vocalist.
In the complaint, she says that not only did Diddy harass her but also assaulted her. Rivers says she also had to work under inhumane conditions where Diddy frequently criticized her appearance and even made fun of her for having bulimia. She also infers that Diddy creeped her out on several occasions by talking to her so closely to “where he could kiss her and asks her in a low, sensual voice how she is doing, if she’s ok and if she needed anything at all.” The paperwork also states that Diddy was also guilty of “making physical threats to group members,” and claims that he “threatened to eat the face of one person and kill another.”
Diddy’s legal team have denied the claims in an exclusive statement to People. “This is yet another example of false claims being filed against Mr. Combs. No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,” the communication reads. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. With the deadline for New York’s Gender-Motivated Violence Act expiring tomorrow, it’s clear that opportunists are rushing to file last-minute, meritless claims. Mr. Combs remains confident he will prevail in court.”
Diddy’s federal trial is set to commence in May.

Diddy’s mother Janice Combs has been accused of fraud by a former Bad Boy Entertainment executive who says she inherited his share of the company.
As per HipHopDX, Kirk Burrowes, a founding partner in the label, has filed a legal complaint against Diddy’s mother. The talent manager says that he was forced to give up his 25% stake in the company under threats of violence when Diddy, who was accompanied by the label’s lawyer, allegedly walked into his office wielding a baseball bat. “By words and actions, Sean Combs and Kenneth Meiselas frightened and intimidated and assaulted plaintiff (Burrowes) and forced him to turn over his share certificate for 25 shares of Bad Boy Entertainment to Sean Combs,” the filing reads. According to exclusive statements made to The Daily Mail, he says Diddy then transferred that stake to his mother.
Janice Combs was not present during the alleged incident but when asked for advice on the matter she told Burrowes she had no idea the confrontation occurred. Kirk says otherwise and believes Diddy’s mother was in on it and even helped orchestrate it. Since being ousted from Bad Boy Entertainment Kirk Burrowes says he was eventually blackballed thus falling on hard times. “They blacklisted him from the music industry, blocked business opportunities, and destroyed his professional reputation, ensuring he would remain financially destitute and unable to reclaim what was rightfully his,” the lawsuit states. He also claims Janice organized “decades-long scheme of intimidation, violence, fraudulent misrepresentation and financial concealment.”
Not only did Burrowes serve as the Bad Boy Entertainment’s chief office but he is the godfather to Diddy’s first son Justin. He also claims he witnessed Diddy physically abuse his mother as well. Kirk Burrowes is seeking his original $100,000 investment into the company, his original 25% stake and additional damages.

According to Variety Magazine, Diddy is facing four more sexual assault lawsuits as the lookback window for the Gender-Motivated Violence Act is about to close on March 1.
The new suits accuse him of drugging and sexually assaulting the plaintiffs, claiming they were forced into sex acts without consent. These lawsuits were filed under the act, which allows survivors of gender-based violence to file claims for incidents that happened years ago but were outside the statute of limitations until now. New legal battles come with serious allegations, with the accusers saying they were manipulated, drugged, and assaulted by Diddy in past encounters.
These lawsuits are part of a larger trend, as victims of sexual violence in the entertainment industry are now able to take legal action, according to the Gender-Motivated Violence Act, which opened a window for claims to be made even after the usual time limits have passed. As the clock runs out on the March 1 deadline, Diddy’s facing more legal heat. These accusations are just the latest in a growing list of sexual assault claims against him, and they’ve got people talking about the deeper issues of abuse and power in the industry.
With the lookback window closing, it’s a critical time for survivors to seek justice, and Diddy could be in for some tough legal battles ahead as these cases move forward. More news to come as the story develops.

Lawsuits and allegations of violent sexual assault continue to follow the thoroughly disgraced music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to TMZ, this time, Diddy is accused of raping a male sex worker he hired to work one of his infamous “Freak-Off” events. In fact, not only did the plaintiff, identified as John Doe, accuse the “All About the Benjamins” creator of sodomizing him, but he also claims Diddy issued a threat to him that implied he was the person who ordered the killing of Tupac Shakur.
From TMZ:
John Doe says his nightmare began in 2012 when he met Diddy through a male-companion service he worked for in Florida.
He says he told Diddy he would travel to NYC to hook up with Diddy at the Intercontinental Hotel. When he entered the room, the man says he was met by Diddy and Diddy’s female companion.
The escort says Diddy commanded him to give oral sex to the woman for hours while performing degrading sex acts on her — similar to “Freak Offs” as defined by federal prosecutors in the criminal case against the Bad Boy Records CEO.
In addition, the escort says Diddy drugged him with a bottle of water and/or baby oil rubbed on his body, causing him to lose control of himself.
He says Diddy followed him into the bathroom and anally sodomized him. He says Diddy then said, “If I can get Pac hit, what the fuck do you think can happen to you?” The man claims he said he would keep his trap shut about the alleged sexual assault.
Rumors that Diddy was involved in Pac’s death have been floating around the internet for years — probably decades — as the mystery behind the 1996 violent killing of the Hip-Hop legend, to this day, has prompted far more questions than answers.
Of course, Diddy’s legal team has responded to the latest allegation against him in the same general way it has responded to the rest of the ever-mounting lawsuits: Nah, he didn’t do it no matter how many people have accused him.
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed — especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims — it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor,” Diddy’s legal reps told TMZ in a statement regarding the latest John Doe. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
At this point, Diddy’s attorneys must be wearing out the “copy and paste” commands on their keyboards as they repeat the same statement over and over.
Welp — until the next one…

Jaguar Wright was presented with an award at the Mar-a-Lago estate of President Donald Trump, raising numerous eyebrows.
On Tuesday, February 18, Jaguar Wright was honored with a special award from the nonprofit organization America’s Future, Inc. The award was presented by General Michael Flynn in a ceremony held at the Mar-a-Lago estate of President Donald Trump. The foundation announced the “Defender of Freedom” honor via social media.
The caption of the foundation’s post shows Wright standing to the left of Flynn with the award, with the caption reading: “Tonight, Jaguar Wright was honored with the Defender of Freedom award, presented by General Michael Flynn, in recognition of her fearless dedication to truth and justice. As a bold and unapologetic voice in the fight for transparency and accountability, Jaguar continues to shine a light where others fear to tread.”
News of the honor surprised many, given that Wright has been a constant voice of controversial allegations involving famous musicians, which have bordered on conspiracy and haven’t been proven as factual. The musicians she has mentioned in interviews with outlets include Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Meek Mill, and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Wright has also declared herself to be a supporter of Trump, saying that “God wanted Trump” in an interview last summer. She went further in attacking former Vice President Kamala Harris: “Considering on the other side, everybody that was endorsing that candidate is an alleged ‘freak off’ attendee, I don’t see how god was rocking with that.”
Recently, she attacked Jay-Z along with Diddy in an interview with Piers Morgan, calling them “monsters.” Morgan would disavow the R&B singer’s comments after receiving a “desist” letter from Jay-Z and Beyoncé: “Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during that interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.”
Also present at the ceremony to receive honors were rocker Ted Nugent, Lt. Col Carolyn Rocco, Lt. Col Theresa M. Long, Lt. Col Stuart Scheller, CDR Robert A. Green Jr., and Former Lt. Col Matthew Lohmeie. Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was also in attendance, being more visibly present at the poolside reception.

Just when it seemed like things couldn’t get any worse for Diddy on a legal level, the “Bad Boy For Life” rapper was dealt a big setback when his own lawyer shockingly quit his defense team last Thursday (Feb. 20).
According to The New York Post, Anthony Ricco filed a motion in court to depart from his six-man defense squad for reasons unknown. Still, Ricco’s request to leave Diddy’s defense team will not be granted until the judge overseeing the case signs off on the motion after finding “sufficient reason” to let the lawyer walk away from the disgraced music mogul.
Per The New York Post:
“Under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs,” Ricco wrote in the Manhattan federal court affidavit. “It is respectfully but regrettably requested that the court grant the relief requested.”
The lawyer didn’t elaborate on why he wanted to step down but noted the decision came after speaking with Combs’ lead counsel Marc Agnifilo.
The attorney suggested the cause for his affidavit’s “brevity” is because he didn’t want to divulge any information protected by attorney-client privilege.
But he told the judge “there are sufficient reasons” for asking to be let off the case.
This low-key reminds us of that scene when Keanu Reeves quit representing his pedophile client in the middle of a trial in The Devil’s Advocate. Just sayin’.
Ricco assured the judge that his request to leave the case would not delay the trial date of May 5, as Diddy will still have five other lawyers fighting on his behalf.
One can only wonder why Anthony Ricco had a sudden change of heart about representing Diddy in this high- profile case. Unfortunately, we may never find out.

Kanye West is back to doing the absolute most on social media, and he most recently suggested that Cassie extorted Diddy with her lawsuit.
As per HipHopDX, Ye has returned to X, formerly known as Twitter, and continues to troll the world. On Feb. 20 he shared a post that questioned Cassie’s morale character and intentions for pursuing legal action against her former lover and record label CEO. “Did Cassie extort Puff?” he wrote. As expected, Kanye was greeted with harsh criticism from X users. “Crazy to think this ni**a made ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’”, wrote one former fan. “The single best album I ever heard in any genre of music……now cuz mind is completely gone.” Another user hypothetically asked him how would he feel if Cassie was one of his family members. “Did [Cassie] get beat up used and abused are you so outta touch if someone did to your mother … may she rest in peace… would you feel same.”
This is not the first time Kanye West has put on a cape for Diddy. Earlier this month, he tried to rationalize Diddy’s sickening 2016 assault on Cassie saying, “When [a] man truly loves a [woman] he may express it in rage. I empathize with both sides,” he wrote on X. Later that day, he announced he would be selling a hooded sweatshirt similar to what Cassie was wearing that same day Diddy put hands on her in a Los Angeles hallway.
Back in November 2023 Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing Diddy of assault and more. The lawsuit was settled the following day but Diddy denied the allegations. Later on, footage from the brutal hotel attack leaked online forcing him to apologize for his actions.

Lawyers for Diddy filed a motion alleging that one of the sex trafficking charges he’s facing is unfair and applied due to his race.
Diddy and his lawyers are alleging that the usage of one law in federal prosecution against him has been wrongfully applied because he is Black, in a motion filed in court on Tuesday (Feb. 18). The specific lesser charge of sex trafficking, “transportation to engage in prostitution,” is the third count brought against Diddy aka Sean Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York. That count is based on the Mann Act, a federal law on the books since 1910 created as an anti-prostitution law.
In the motion, Diddy’s lawyers cite the “racist origins” of the law, claiming he is being “selectively prosecuted” as they are targeting a “prominent Black man” with the charge. “No other person, and certainly no white person, has ever been prosecuted under the White-Slave Traffic Act (the Mann Act) for hiring male escorts from another State,” his attorneys write.
They continued, “The use of escorts, male or female, is common and indeed widely accepted in American culture today,” citing that the chief executive of the escort service that Diddy allegedly used has been interviewed frequently in the media and took part in a reality series on Showtime to support their claim. The lawyers also stated that the charge was being used to prosecute “Black male sexuality,” citing how it was used against the first Black heavyweight boxing champion Jack Johnson, who had been convicted for violating the act for transporting a white woman across state lines. Johnson would receive a posthumous pardon in 2018 by President Donald Trump during his first term.
Former federal prosecutor Elizabeth Geddes, who was part of the first successful prosecution against R. Kelly, noted that the Mann Act is regularly used against individuals who have committed more serious crimes. In comparison to other charges in the indictment, which include the use of “force, fraud or coercion” to compel someone to engage in a sex act, the lesser charge stemming from the Mann Act only requires the jury to find that Diddy “willfully caused” the transportation of people with that express purpose of engaging in prostitution. “No doubt it is far easier to prove,” Ms. Geddes said to the New York Times. If convicted of that charge alone, Diddy would face a sentence of 10 years in prison.

A lawsuit filed by Jane Doe represented by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee against Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Sean “Diddy” Combs alleging rape and assault has been dismissed. Jay-Z, via his Roc Nation outfit, issued a statement after the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice.
As seen on Variety, the lawsuit, filed Friday (Feb. 14) by Tony Buzbee and Antigone Curis on behalf of Jane Doe, was reviewed by the outlet in full. As the outlet notes, a portion of the dismissal stated that the new filing, “hereby gives notice that the above-captioned Action is voluntarily dismissed, with prejudice.” In essence, this case cannot be entered again as it stands currently.
A statement was posted on Roc Nation’s social media pages. We’ve shared a portion below:
Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere. The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone. The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.
This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions. The system has failed.
Jane Doe initially filed the claim last October against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that when she was 13 in the year 2000, the record label mogul raped her during a MTV Music Video Awards afterparty. In December of 2024, Jay-Z was added to the lawsuit.
Jay-Z immediately addressed the lawsuit in a series of public statements and legal maneuvers, aiming much of his vitriol toward Buzbee and calling the claims against him an elaborate scheme to pilfer money out of him.
On X, formerly Twitter, fans are reacting to the news and Jay-Z’s statements. No word yet has emerged from Diddy’s camp.

As more and more men and women come out of the woodworks to file new lawsuits against Diddy for his alleged predatory ways, the embattled music icon is swinging back, but not at his accusers but rather at those involved in exposing his supposedly horrifying history.
According to the Huffpost, Diddy has just filed a $100 million dollar lawsuit against NBC Universal and Peacock over the making of their documentary, The Making Of A Bad Boy for defamation as he claims that they falsely accused him of human trafficking, molestation and even murder. Saying that the companies prioritize profits over factual evidence, Diddy filed the claim in New York State Court this past Wednesday (Feb. 12) in hopes of getting a jury trial underway in order to prove wrongdoing on the part of NBC Universal and Peacock.
Per Huffpost:
Combs’ complaint says the documentary falsely accuses him of sex trafficking, molesting minors and murdering Porter and several figures in music, including The Notorious B.I.G.
“As described in today’s lawsuit, NBCUniversal Media, LLC, Peacock TV, LLC, and Ample LLC made a conscious decision to line their own pockets at the expense of truth, decency, and basic standards of professional journalism,” Combs’ lawyer, Erica Wolff, said in a statement to HuffPost. “Grossly exploiting the trust of their audience and racing to outdo their competition for the most salacious Diddy exposé, Defendants maliciously and recklessly broadcast outrageous lies in ‘Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.’”
“In making and broadcasting these falsehoods, among others, Defendants seek only to capitalize on the public’s appetite for scandal without any regard for the truth and at the expense of Mr. Combs’s right to a fair trial,” Wolff added.
For those who aren’t familiar with the documentary, The Making Of A Bad Boy features interviews with quite a few people who’ve worked with Diddy in the past including his former bodyguard, Gene Deal, artist Al B Sure!, and childhood homie, Tim “Dawg” Patterson amongst others. Needless to say, they didn’t exactly paint their former Bad Boy associate in the best light.
Though the documentary has been streaming for almost a month, Diddy decided now was the time to bring the case and with the brand new legal troubles that’s been thrown at him as of late (and probably going forward), it will be interesting to see what kind of evidence he’ll be able to provide to prove The Making Of A Bad Boy was false and all hearsay.
