Gritty and hardcore Hip-Hop is just what New York is known for and though there hasn’t been as much of that kind of sound as of late, a few rappers do provide just that and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Linking up for the visuals to “EVERY DAY,” Grafh, Dave East and 38 Spesh head to Harlem to kick at Dave East’s clothing store to sip on some adult juice before kicking it on the stoop where they smoke some bud and drop their bars like every up and coming rapper did before signing that record deal.

2022 was a helluva year for Brooklyn drill rapper as he dropped his debut album, B.I.B.L.E. and for a minute was the hottest rapper in the game, but can he repeat the same successful formula in 2023? Looks like we’re about to find out.

Coming through with some new visuals to his latest cut “Hot Sauce,” Fivio Foreign takes to the streets with his peoples and a flame thrower in hand because Fivio is hellbent on making the block hot for the Summer of 2023. Luckily he has all that ice on his person to keep him cool while spittin’ that hot fiyah like Dylan.

Speaking of having huge 2022’s, Ice Spice doesn’t seem to be the one-hit wonder many are trying to label her as now that she has the Queen rapper riding alongside her. Linking up with Nicki Minaj for the clip to “Princess Diana,” Spice and Minaj get their Barbie world on and turn up in a lavish pink bedroom and lowkey bring to life the actual ménage that most men dream about these days. Just sayin.’

Ever since getting into a social media back-and-forth with Maino, China Mac, and others, Troy Ave has been dropping off new work on damn near a daily basis and though he doesn’t call anyone out by name on his cuts, he does include their names next to the song titles to get people to listen.

Continuing his trend with his latest visuals to “Money Dance 123 / Maino Chaino China Mac Taxstone Mysonne Joe Budden DJ Vlad Diss,” Troy Ave takes a trip out to the barrio in LA where he links up with some of his Latino hermanos and shows off his Salsa dance moves which were actually pretty impressive. And no, he didn’t actually call out any of the people named in the title.

Keeping the scene on the West Coast, Ab-Soul keeping that TDE flame burning and in his clip to “HERBERT,” Soul gets artistic with the visual as he sits in a room and opens a portal to his being and takes viewers on a trippy ride down memory lane using CGI and animation to capture various moments and feelings that bubble inside of him. It was pretty dope.

It’s been four months since Metro Boomin dropped his sophomore album, HEROES & VILLAINS, but the super producer from The A isn’t done pushing his project and connects with the Toxic King and Don Toliver to bring to life one of the albums’ standout tracks.

Dropping off some new visuals to “Too Many Nights,” Metro Boomin invites Don Toliver and Future to get turnt up with him and a gang of young women on the dance floor before taking to the strip club to make it rain on the thick as molasses talent. Future refrained from making it rain though. The man has eight children, he can’t be throwing money away these days.

Rae Sremmurd meanwhile do some dancing of their own and for their clip to “Tanisha (Pump That)” bust some moves while the women in the video pump some iron, pump some gas, and pump some air into a mattress. Would’ve been the perfect time to bust out some Reebok Pump’s but it is what it is.

While us Hip-Hop heads await a Griselda reunion album that may or may never happen, we can at least appreciate that they do tend to pop up on each other’s solo projects and today two members from the trio get together to drop a banga.

For his latest visuals to “Quarters,” Conway The Machine takes a trip to Paris to enjoy the nightlife and some fancy meals before being joined by Westside Gunn to show the French locals how bullies from Buffalo, New York get down.

Back in Brooklyn, Joey Bada$$ seems to be a man in love and in his clip to “Fallin’” gets sensual with it and picks the pedals off a rose while spilling his heart out on the track.

Now with the third installment on the horizon, the Queens MC is giving his day-one’s a taste of what to expect on The Course of the Inevitable 3: Pieces Of My Pain.

For the first single to the upcoming album, Lloyd Banks links up with fellow Hip-Hop OG, Method Man in the visuals to “101 Razors,” Blue Hefner and Big John Stud hold court in an empty mansion straight out of American Horror Story where they kick their verses and remind us what MCing used to sound like back in the day. Respect the OG’s.

Speaking of MCing, Millyz keeps on showing and proving he’s not amateur on the M-I-C, and in his clip to “Dark Shades” the “Bawsten” representative posts up in a bright yellow room with a thick young woman to drop his bars while flexing the iced out shamrock that was gifted to him by the Verzuz Gawd, Jadakiss. Jadakiss is an amazing homie to have. Just sayin.’

For the past few days Troy Ave and Maino have unexpectedly been going back-and-forth on social media and while Troy continues to get slandered for taking the stand in the Taxstone case as well he’s decided to address all the situations in his latest drop.

In his new visuals to “Real Eyes Realize Real Lies,” Troy imagines himself as both a courtroom judge and prisoner of the state as he talks about the hate and betrayal he’s received from his old friends and rap peers without naming names on the record. Only reason we know who he’s talking about is because he put their names next to the title of the song on YouTube. Go figure.

Meanwhile out in the West Coast, Reason looks to put TDE on his back and in his clip for “At It Again” rolls through the streets of LA while checking in on his peoples and stopping for a minute to get a quick shapeup by a thick young lady on a stoop. She must be good to not need a barber’s chair. Just sayin.’

Gucci Mane’s been doing his thing in the rap game for the past decade and change now so it’s only right that the ATLien OG link up with two of Hip-Hop’s brightest young stars to bridge two generations of trappers turned rappers.

Collaborating with DaBaby and 21 Savage in the visuals to “06 Gucci,” Guwop takes to the streets of his hometown with the aforementioned artists to roll hard through the streets before turning up on the block and giving its residents a night to remember.

Back in New York, Maino and Jim Jones are still putting on for their city themselves, and in their clip to “Pressure,” the Brooklyn to Harlem connection stroll through the streets of the Big Apple with a marching band in tow to make some noise and let everyone know they graduated from the school of hard knocks.
