With his next album, Nostalgia seemingly ready to release tomorrow (September 15), Rod Wave has been dropping off new work to build some anticipation for his forthcoming project and today drops a new video to keep that momentum building.
Coming through with some new visuals to “Checkmate,” Rod Wave takes viewers with him on a trip to New York City where he and his close friends take in the big city atmosphere as they stroll through Times Square before Rod takes the stage and performs for a sold-out crowd of adoring fans waiting to hear him sing those soul moving melodies.
Soulja Boy meanwhile seems content living his own best life as in his clip to “150 Bricks,” Draco pushes a bright yellow toy through the dark of night to make sure everyone can see him and the voluptuous company he keeps. That woman’s lower body probably weighs more than Draco’s entire physical. Just sayin.’
Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from J.I., Money Man, and more.

For decades Fabolous has been showing and proving just how sharp his pen is with the metaphors and similes and while many of today’s Hip-Hoppers sleep on this man’s illustrious career, he’s still out here proving to be one of the best rappers in 2023.
Dropping off some visuals to “Dubai,” the Brooklyn representative heads overseas to, well, Dubai where he lives his best fabulous life while enjoying the club scene and nightlife that’s reserved for the likes of a king. Rappers really love heading out to Dubai.
Rod Wave meanwhile continues to sing his heart out for the broken hearted men of the world and in his clip to “Boyz Don’t Cry,” the man goes acoustic with it and spills his heart into the mic in a penthouse suit with the city as the backdrop behind him. That man talented.

Years back it seemed like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was going to be the next big thing out of New York and though he’s been keeping a low profile for a hot minute, the Bronx representative still has a dedicated fanbase that’s ready and waiting to eat up whatever the young rapper serves up.
Dropping off some new visuals for “Her Birthday,” A Boogie finds himself the victim of “Cupid” as his body is riddled with arrows courtesy of sharp shooting women who seem to have a bone to pick with the rapper. That looked painful.
Down South, Slim Thug is still rolling like a boss like it’s 2005 and in his clip to “Midlife Crisis” Thug shows off an impressive car collection on his front yard before taking to the booth where his ice glistens under the dimmed lights. That man is still living large.

It’s been a while since Ciara’s enjoyed the praise that comes with dropping a hit record (no shots), and though you’d think being married to an NFL superstar would have her kicking back and enjoying her best life, Ciara’s still on her music grizzly and gets an assist from one of the music game’s brightest stars.
Linking up with Lil Baby for the visuals to “Forever,” Ciara and LB attend a beautiful wedding where they lend their support to the bride and groom before enjoying the festivities that come with such a blissful event. If you make Ciara a bridesmaid y’all know she’s stealing the show. Just sayin.’
On a harder note, 38 Spesh and Conway The Machine take it back to the block and in in their clip for “Speshal Machinery” politic in the trap house where they cook up bars to get heads nodding and bopping as they continue to show and prove they got that potent work.

For decades Busta Rhymes has shown and proven to be one of the greatest rappers to ever pick up the mic and even in 2023 the Hip-Hop legend is still spitting that fire with the same intensity as he was back in 1993.
Today Bussa Buss links up with ascending rap star Coi Leray for his visuals to “Luxury Life” in which the two live out some iconic scenes from Pulp Fiction and The Matrix which today’s Hip-Hop generation may or may not be familiar with. Us older heads will be entertained by this.
DaBaby meanwhile keeps on churning out new clips like it’s an automatic and for his latest joint to “Da Fuckumean,” DB takes the time during a photo shoot to drop some quick bars to show everyone he’s still got that work to make you heads bop.

As of late Quavo has really been on his grizzly as of late trying to remind Migos fans why they fell in love with the group in the first place and though he’s going solo with it (RIP Takeoff), he’s still helping carry the A on his back.
Dropping off some new visuals for his cut “Galaxy,” Quavo heads out to the Dominican Republic to roam the streets by his lonesome and hanging out with the locals before treating a very thick young women to a romantic lunch on the streets. This fool ‘bout to end up on 90 Day Fiancé and we don’t blame him.

Dave East is a proud Harlem representative and while the man uses every opportunity to show love to his old neighborhood, this time around the city boy heads to the country for his latest music video.
In his latest visuals to “Thru The Mud,” Dave East finds himself living the simple life on a farm where he cares for the livestock which consists of lamas and horses before writing his rhymes under some candle lights and dimly lit lamps. Still iced out on the farm though. That was lowkey weird too.
DaBaby meanwhile hits the streets with some ice of his own and in his clip to “Peaches & Eggplants” pulls up to a gas station to get turnt up with his seed who flaunts stacks of cash that and iced out baby chains of his own. Son probably got his pre-school on smash.

It’s been more than a year since Rod Wave dropped his last LP, Beautiful Mind and while fans await his fifth studio album, the vocalist from the Sunshine State comes through with some new work to give his fans something to chew on until he serves up the main course.
Droppingn off some new visuals to his latest cut “Come See Me,” Rod finds himself in a condo all by his lonesome as he pours out his soul about how his latest relationship got him in knots about how to proceed with his life. Happens to the best of us, homie. Well, maybe not Future.
Elsewhere the impossible almost happened as Queen Naija linked up with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for her latest clip to “No Fake Love” in which she turned up with her homegirls out on the open seas, and just when it seemed like YNBA was going to join her, she ended up going to his compound to shoot his portion of the video. That man never leaves his crib. Son should be called YoungBoy Never Leaving Home Again or something. Not hatin,’ just sayin.’

With the Denver Nuggets shocking the world and winning the 2023 NBA title seemingly out of left field, Jack Harlow couldn’t have picked a better time to drop a cut paying homage to the “Beer Capital of the United States.”
Returning to his Jackman album to drop some new visuals to “Denver,” the White Men Can’t Jump actor heads to mile high city to take in the night life which really doesn’t look like it’s up to par with the likes of LA, Atlanta or New York City. Low-key made it look boring out there. At least he chopped it up with Jamal Murray while out there.
Coi Leray meanwhile keeps on doing her thing and in her latest clip to “Isabel Marant” she drapes herself in glitter to shine under the moonlight before turning up with a club filled with her fans. She knows how to give em what they want.
