Lil Meech is finding out the hard way that his boss, 50 Cent, has pettiness levels through the roof.
50 Cent is taking his foot off BMF star Lil Meech and his father Big Meech’s necks. The Southside Jamaica Queens rapper shared on social media that the actor has a drug addiction that required him to send him to rehab.

On his favorite tool for antagonizing those he feels have wronged him, 50 Cent accused Big Meech of being jealous of the relationship he developed with his son while filming the hit Starz series BMF, which the rapper, born Curtis Jackson, serves as an executive producer on.
Lil Meech Was Allegedly “High As F*** On Set” According To 50 Cent
He also claimed in the eye-opening post that “MeMe,” that’s what he was calling Lil Meech, had a drug problem while adding that Big Meech did not like the fact that the “Wanksta” rapper helped his son.
“I thought about it I think he was uncomfortable with me and MeMe’s relationship,” 50 Cent wrote. “I’m telling MeMe I don’t want him doing drugs. He telling him he use to do X like it’s cool. I tell meme chill stop spending all ya money, he telling him how much money he blew. people don’t know I had to send MeMe to rehab.”
He continued, “Russell Hornsby peeped he was high as fuck on set he started throwing up at a weapons test then Ian told me the little [ninja] had whippets in his truck.I said what the fvck is whippets I look it’s the shit that be in Bebe guns.”
The post, which is hilariously still up, features a video clip of Gene Deal talking about Big Meech, born Demetrius Flenory Jr., being a snitch and working with “officers,” referring to Rick Ross.

How Did This All Begin?
50 Cent’s continued attacks on Big Meech and Lil Meech stem from his disgust for Big Meech taking a flick with longtime nemesis Rick Ross ahead of the now-canceled Welcome Home Concert and Lil Meech standing up for his dad.
We hope this doesn’t affect the show in any way. We still need our entertainment, Fif.
Social media has been reaction to the ongoing drama between the rapper and the Flenory family, you can see those reactions in the gallery below.

Kanye West and his Twitter fingers aren’t done typing. The rapper took to his favorite soapbox at the moment, X, formerly Twitter, to complain about the Grammys not giving him and his wife, Bianca Censori, tickets.

West had all the smoke for the Recording Academy for not blessing him and his naked wife, Bianca Censori, with tickets to music’s biggest night despite him earning a nomination for his song “Carnival” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, but eventually losing to Kendrick Lamar who took home the Grammy for his iconic Drake diss, “Not Like Us.”

“How could the Grammies [sic] nominate me Then not give me tickets And then people mad when I go off,” Ye wrote on X.
“I had to fight for 5 hours and call everyone I knew to get tickets to the Grammies [sic] They eventually gave me tickets but only for the red carpet. At that point I hadn’t started the rampage.”
The Grammys Confirm Not Giving West Tickets
According to a Grammys producer, the rapper (47) and his mannequin (30) were not given tickets to attend the Feb 2 award show held inside the Crytpo.com arena.
“They didn’t have a nomination on the [telecast] and Kanye wasn’t presenting,” Raj Kapoor told People. “He was not performing either, which is mostly what those seats are.”
The “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” crafter didn’t need to make it inside to cause a scene. He used his time on the red carpet to continue parading around his naked wife. Censori dropped her fur coat to reveal she wore a sheer dress with nothing underneath it.
Rumors hit the web that the couple was kicked out of the event due to Censori’s lack of clothing, but that was not the case. A source told Page Six that they left on their own accord.
Kanye West Has Been Dominating The Headlines
West has been dominating the headlines with his antisemitic rants on X, his bizarre Super Bowl ad that led potential shoppers to a Nazi shirt, and rumors of his wife divorcing him.
A rep for the rapper shot down claims of West and Censori splitting.
“Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumor in the tabloid press,” spokesman Milo Yiannopoulos said.
We honestly wouldn’t mind if West, who claims he is now autistic, would go away and get some damn help.

Once upon a time, MSNBC host Michael Steele was a diehard Republican. In fact, the former lieutenant governor of Maryland was the chair of the Republican National Committee for four years, from 2003 to 2007.

But things have changed over the last two decades, and these days, Steele is not only over the party that long abandoned him (after discovering he was more moderate than conservative, which is not the way they like their sunken place “Black friends”), but he’s completely fed up with the MAGA-fied GOP as well as the Democrats who have failed to stop them from making white nationalism great again.

On Saturday, after Alicia Menendez, Steele’s co-host on MSNBC’s The Weekend, read from a report from The Nation stating the courts cannot “save us,” during a discussion on whether the courts can rein in Trump and his perceived puppet master, Elon Musk, who have essentially turned the federal government into their own personal Project 2025 execution station.

“What would you have us do?” co-host Symone Sanders-Townsend asked Steele after he went all the way off on feckless Democrats during the discussion.
“I would like you to show that you give a damn!” he shot back.
“That you got a little emotion about the fact that people are losing their jobs indiscriminately,” Steele continued. “That this individual sitting down [in] the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has given absolute power to one man who brings his son into the Oval Office, whose son says to him, ‘You’re not the president, you shouldn’t be in that chair.’ Now, where did he get that from? He got it from his daddy, because that’s what his daddy thinks of the man who brought him into the Oval Office. So I’d just like to see somebody wake the hell up and get excited about the fact that your country is under assault! They’re not at the gate anymore, they’re in your bedrooms they’re in your living rooms, they’re in your businesses, they got your data, dumbasses, they got all your stuff.”
Steele continued his rant with more harsh words for Musk.
“Elon Musk has his tentacles in everything you’re doing, not just off of X, but now he’s in the Treasury Department, he’s in the Labor Department, he’s in the Department of Homeland Security and nobody seems to give a damn,” he said. “So that’s all I want. Somebody to show that they care enough to get off their fat ass and say something about it.”

Mendez attempted to steer Steele’s ire back to the Republican party where the bulk of it belongs, and that’s when Steele made his feelings about his former party clear and unmistakeable.
“The hell with Republicans! They’re not going to do anything, they’re the problem!” he exclaimed.
So, what do y’all think? Is Steele right to highlight Democratic complicity in Trump and Musk’s MAGA regime, or are the Dems being unfairly blamed for Trump’s second term? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Eddie Murphy’s impression of Tracy Morgan during “Black Jeopardy” proved to be a major hit on Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special.
The iconic comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live celebrated 50 years on the air last Sunday (February 16),  with one of its highlights being the return of “Black Jeopardy” featuring SNL veteran Kenan Thompson hosting as Darnell Hayes aka “Alex Treblack”. Eddie Murphy stole the show, appearing as Tracy Morgan while the real Morgan stood alongside him playing a man named Darius. Another SNL alum, Leslie Jones also played a contestant named Shanice.

“Welcome to ‘Black Jeopardy,’ the only ‘Jeopardy’ where every single viewer fully understood Kendrick’s halftime performance,” Thompson said, opening with a reference to Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show. As he introduced Eddie Murphy, who was dressed in a tracksuit similar to what Morgan wears, Murphy yelled out in an exaggerated voice uncannily like Morgan’s, “Big dog gonna make some big money!”
“Now wait a minute, Tracy. Don’t you already have a lot of money?” Thompson asked. “You gotta have a lot of money if you live like I live,” Murphy shot back. “I eat four-cheese lasagna. If they only got three cheeses, I ain’t eating it.” As Thompson tried to cut him short, Murphy stated, “I refuse to ingest three cheeses.” The sketch took another hilarious turn soon after.
“Darius, Tracy, y’all seem like you might be related,” Thompson said to Murphy, who replied: “Well, James Earl Jones is my biological father. James Earl Jones impregnated my mother on the set of ‘Claudine.’ You know what? We might be related.” The late James Earl Jones played Murphy’s father in the Coming To America movies. Morgan, dressed in a checkered short-sleeve shirt immediately replied looking annoyed, “I don’t see it.”
The sketch would take a couple more memorable comedic turns, with another SNL alum Chris Rock joining in for one question, joking that he was a fan since the 1970s when the show was called “Mama’s Got Questions”. His question asked the contestants to identify the Church Lady, a character fellow alum Dana Carvey played in the 1980s and 1990s. The answer was supplied by Tom Hanks, popping up as Doug, a MAGA supporter who he first portrayed on “Black Jeopardy” in 2016. MAGA Land didn’t like that.

Much has been said about Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World over the past few days (it was actually a pretty cool movie), but something that many may not know is that the film actually incorporated a little something-something courtesy of the late-great Kobe Bryant.

According to Variety, costume designer for Captain America: Brave New World, Gersha Phillips actually turned to the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro high tops to create the boots that both Captain America (Anthony Mackie) and The Falcon (Danny Remirez) rocked while they were saving America from an international war during the film. Who would’ve thought? The Nike Kobe 9 Proto has become a fan favorite sneaker over the last few years with the “Masterpiece” colorway being one of the most sought after pairs, so knowing that Captain America was rocking some of Kobe’s classics on his feet adds a little more appeal to the character as far as we’re concerned.
We just hope they didn’t paint over the “Masterpiece” colorway for the flick. That’ll hurt quite a bit.
Per Variety:

“We built both of their boots on these Kobe high tops. It gave much more structure and helped with their movement,” said Phillips. “It gives them really good support, ankle support, instep support, and everything for all the jumping and the work that they had to do.”
Good thing they didn’t use the Air Jordan 4. Many a sneaker head will testify that those particular sneakers are well known a foot killers, especially if you have bunions. Just saying.
As for the rest of Mackie’s Captain America getup, it was a matter of comfort and representation as Mackie’s iteration of Cap had to have both plush and appealing.
Marvel’s Ryan Meinerding, head of visual development, was a close collaborator when it came to building the Captain’s two suits.
“It was really important for everybody that it (the suit design) tied into the Steve Rogers suit.” Phillips continued, “All the fabric is a surface print, and we tweaked the colors a little bit.” For his chest plate, Phillips wanted it to be a hard shell, not soft. She said, “If you look at the first suit he’s wearing, it’s his old suit from the series.”
The blue suit he wears later is “more heroic.” Said Phillips, “I remember zipping it up on Anthony. I said, ’Is this too tight, Anthony? But he liked it because it held his body in pretty well.” Phillips added that Mackie paid her the greatest compliment. “He did say to me that it was one of the most comfortable duds he’s ever worn.”

Heck a job, people. Both on the suit and the film.

Hit dogs are hollering on social media after Tom Hanks put on a MAGA hat to portray a racist Donald Trump supporter during a skit on SNL 50.

Tom Hanks is feeling the wrath of MAGA Republicans for what they are saying is a “racist and disgusting” portrayal of Trump supporters on Saturday Night Live’s (SNL) 50th-anniversary special.
For the special, NBC spun the block on some of the more popular sketches, including “Black Jeopardy,” featuring Kenan Thompson, Leslie Jones, Eddie Murphy, and Tom Hanks.
For the hilarious skit, Hanks brought back his character Doug, an accurate depiction of Donald Trump’s core base of supporters who have no clue about what is going on in America outside of the right-wing echo chamber.
The Forrest Gump star first portrayed Doug in 2016 during Felon 47’s first failed presidency. In that original skit, he pointed out the differences and similarities between those who proudly support Orange Mussolini and those who give him the middle finger every chance they get.
In this new skit, Doug is the only white contestant on Black Jeopardy and refuses to shake hands with Kenan Thompson’s character, Darnell Hayes, before reluctantly agreeing to complete the gesture.

MAGA world took it as an insult, basically crying that it’s wrong to label the group of people who are proudly rallying behind immigrants being rounded up and deported and an administration on a mission to remove all DEI policies geared towards evening the playing field for Black and Brown people to “make America great again.”

Social media has been sipping on MAGA rage tears over the skit because Tom Hanks nailed the performance.

Welp.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was confirmed by the Senate to be the Health and Human Services Secretary for President Donald Trump’s administration, worrying many observers.

On Thursday (February 13), Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was officially confirmed by the Senate to be the new Health and Human Services Secretary, ending a tumultuous period of debate. The vote was a narrow one, 52-48, with Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell the lone Republican to join all the Democrat senators who voted against him. Kennedy, the son of America’s prestigious political family, will now oversee $1.7 trillion in federal spending, vaccine recommendations, and food safety as well as half of the nation’s health insurance policies. He will also oversee 80,000 employees at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Kennedy, 71, has been a controversial figure who has spread misinformation about vaccines in the past, particularly that they cause autism. He has also made claims about raw milk and fluoride in water, as well as asserting that Lyme disease and COVID-19 were bioengineered weapons. During his testimony before the Senate, he had issues confusing Medicare and Medicaid and was attacked for his flip-flopping on abortion. Although he gained some support for his “Make America Healthy Again” platform aiming at food additives, there is doubt that he will earnestly follow through on his proposals.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren decried the confirmation. “Putting Kennedy in charge of the nation’s public health is a huge mistake. When dangerous diseases resurface and people can’t access lifesaving vaccines, all Americans will suffer,” Warren said in her statement. “And thanks to his serious, unresolved conflicts of interest, RFK Jr.’s family could continue getting richer from his anti-vaccine crusade while he’s in office.” Senator McConnell, who survived polio as a child, criticized Kennedy thoroughly. “In my lifetime, I’ve watched vaccines save millions of lives from devastating diseases across America and around the world. I will not condone the re-litigation of proven cures, and neither will millions of Americans who credit their survival and quality of life to scientific miracles,” he said in a statement.
President Donald Trump took offense to the criticisms, particularly coming from McConnell as characterized the vote as a vote against him. “I have no idea if he had polio. All I can tell you about him is that he shouldn’t have been leader,” Trimp said to a reporter after the vote.

CRT FRSH, Hip-Hop Wired’s playlist where we attempt to showcase music we believe is “Certified Fresh,” is back again! With just our second update of the year, we’ve had a lot of catching up to do.
Disclaimer:
The CRT FRSH playlist is a labor of love. We don’t take payments nor do we do favors. We only add joints to our playlist that fit the theme and vision we’re going for and don’t seek to waste the listener’s time. Further, we don’t stick to one lane of Hip-Hop. We believe that all aspects of the music should get some light, whether it’s young lions in the trenches or those hoping for that one shot to blow up to grizzled veterans puffing out their chests with lots more to say.

I want to explain how I approach curating the CRT FRSH playlist. Most importantly, I don’t segregate my Hip-Hop. Every form of music from the main cultural tree deserves a listen and a look. When I construct the playlist, I want to include all regions across the States and, when applicable, across the globe. I also want to entertain every fan of Hip-Hop, not just those who enjoy one segment of it. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s get to it. — D.L. Chandler
Happy Valentine’s Day, Hip-Hop Wired Nation! We’re glad to be back to curating what’s about to be your new favorite Hip-Hop music playlist! We haven’t kept on top of the playlist so we’ll be digging into some records released in the last year along with some new offerings.
We open the playlist with the buzzing “GIMME A HUG” from Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s $$$4U ($ome $exy $ongs 4 U) album. It looks like Drizzy is completely done with the 20-v-1 and back to the music. We follow that with “Gacy” from Atlanta’s Big Cheeko and his excellent Coulrophia album. Lil Baby’s WHAM album got the deluxe treatment and “Running This Sh*t” is one of the four bonus tracks. Next up is “Munyon Canon” from Larry June, 2 Chainz, and the Alchemist’s collaborative project, Life Is Beautiful.
Gunna, who may have taken some shots in the aforementioned Lil Baby track, shows up with the hypnotic “GOT DAMN” and the dynamic duo of Issa Gold and AKTHESAVIOR, together as The Underachievers, delivers the atmospheric “Have Nots” and have more heat in the tuck.
Pardison Fontaine links with Cardi B for the strip club-ready “Toot It Up,” and MIKE, perhaps the most gifted rapper and producer under 30, gets into the mix with “What U Bouta Do?/A Star was born” from his potent Showbiz! album.
Salute to Offset, Sideshow, El Costeau, Central Cee, 21 Savage, Jadasea, Niontay, Teddy Swims, Coco Jones, GloRilla, Zelooperz, Real Bad Man, Doechii, jalenn., GELO, Lil Wayne, Black Milk, Fat Ray, NLE Choppa, Spectacular Diagnostics, Conway The Machine, Chris Crack, and Declaime.

Wendy Williams the popular radio show host turned TV talk show queen is trying to regain her personal and financial freedom by ending a guardianship enacted over her.

Williams has been in court-ordered guardianship since 2022 and is currently living in an assisted care facility. However, in her new petition she told the judge that she has “regained capacity” to function without a guardian, per TMZ.

The gossip news site recently released a documentary about her called, “TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy.” It is currently streaming on Tubi.
Williams who had been incapacitated in the past and was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia has signed an affidavit that she is, in fact, healthy. Her friend, TMZ founder Harvey Levin has stated that he believes Williams was misdiagnosed and has gotten healthier since becoming sober.
According to Fox4News, Levin interviewed his old friend from the street, where Williams claims she is locked in a room with no internet access. He said she is rarely allowed visitors and has only been outside twice in the past month.
“She rightly feels like a prisoner,” Levin said.
According to Levin, Williams, 60, is “back to her old self”, but her guardian refuses to release her.
Fans on social media, are reacting to the news and the documentary with outrage asking for the same support be offered Williams as was offered Britney Spears in her conservatorship battle.
The hashtag #FreeWendyWilliams is currently trending on X.
Sources have told PageSix that Williams is set to be reexamined by a medical doctor on February 18.

A woman in New Jersey is facing federal charges after allegedly robbing a bank with a toy water gun which she painted to look like a real weapon.

On Tuesday (February 11),  the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey announced that they were charging Ciara Brascom with robbing a bank in Princeton of $60,500, which was done with Brascom using a toy water pistol that was spray painted black to make it look like a real weapon. If convicted, the 38-year-old could receive a prison sentence of up to 20 years along with a fine of $250,000.

According to reports, on the afternoon of July 28, 2004, Brascom entered the TD Bank located on Route 206 at 1:58 P.M. She wore a blue hat and red prescription glasses along with a blue medical face mask as she entered the bank. Soon afterward, she handed a note to one of the tellers demanding money, threatening to use her weapon if the teller triggered the alarm. Brascom then took out what appeared to be a gun from her pants pocket and aimed it at the teller, who informed her that their drawer was empty. The teller and another bank employee led Brascom to a safe, where they handed her the $60,500 in cash. Brascom then fled the scene with the cash in hand, having forgotten to take a bag to put it in.
After an extensive investigation, local law enforcement called Brascom in for questioning last September. During the interrogation, she spoke about “certain financial difficulties, which fueled her desire to rob the bank,” and described her search for a replica pistol to use during the robbery, which was unsuccessful. It led Brascom to buy a pack of water guns. She then “painted one of the guns with black paint to make it look more realistic.”
Brascom was charged with robbery, criminal restraint, theft, terroristic threats, money laundering, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses. She appeared in court for the charges later that Tuesday. There was no report of the status of her local charges. She was released after posting a $150,000 bond and is currently on home detention with orders not to return to the bank.
