After more than four decades in the business, Cher has another hit on her hands. The music icon’s upcoming autobiography, Cher: The Memoir, shot to No. 1 on Amazon this week, but it doesn’t come out for another few months.

Cher: The Memoir, the first of a two-part autobiography, will be released on Nov. 19. The second book is expected to be released sometime in 2025.

“With her trademark honesty and humor, Cher: The Memoir traces how this diamond in the rough succeeded with no plan and little confidence to become the trailblazing superstar the world has been unable to ignore for more than half a century,” the publisher, William Morrow Group an imprint of Harper Collins, said in a statement on Wednesday (July 24).
Per the description, The Memoir follows Cher’s “extraordinary beginnings” from childhood to meeting and marrying former husband and music partner, Sonny Bono, and sheds light on the duo’s “highly complicated relationship that made them world-famous, but eventually drove them apart.”
The pair tied the knot in 1964 and divorced in 1975. After the split, Cher continued her solo career and Bono became a politician. He died in a skiing accident in 1998.
Beyond her personal life, the memoir gives a full scope of Cher as a mother, sister, wife, daughter and superstar.
The book is currently topping Amazon’s bestsellers list in the categories of popular music and biographies for actors and entertainers.

Taylor Swift loves a good anti-hero, which is why her love of the new Deadpool movie comes as no surprise. That, plus the fact that Ryan Reynolds — one of her best buddies — produced and stars in the franchise’s latest installment.
And on Thursday (July 25), the pop star showered the film with praise on her Instagram Story, sharing a photo she took with Reynolds — along with Blake Lively, who is married to the actor, and his Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman — at an October Kansas City Chiefs Game.
“Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film,” she wrote. “He’s created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich.”

“I don’t know how he did it,” she added before joking, “But that’s just Hugh for you!”
The musician went on to encourage fans to buy tickets if they “like things that are unspeakably awesome,” and added of Reynolds’ character in the film, “Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!”
The Free Guy star quickly reshared Swift’s post to his own Story and wrote, “Omg, this may have just killed @thehughjackman” and added, “i’m also [dead]” with a skull-face emoji.
Reynolds and Lively are parents to four children — James, Inez, Betty and Olin. Swift has been a close friend of the family for years and even used the names of the three oldest kids in her Folklore love triangle songs. Years prior, she borrowed Reynolds’ actual Deadpool suit for her 2016 Halloween costume, after which he returned the favor by wearing a tee with her cats Meredith and Olivia on it in Deadpool 2.
“Yes, I had a T-shirt made,” he said in a recent SiriusXM Town Hall, joking that Swift took legal action against him in response. “I was sued. I lost everything in that one. And getting sued by a friend is tough to swallow. Also, she has just a lot of very, very powerful lawyers. I found out later those are just the paralegals. The real lawyers didn’t even bother with it.”
The “Fortnight” singer’s post will no doubt further fuel rumors that she makes a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. Fans have been convinced she appears in the film since Reynolds appeared to re-create her Evermore album cover in his Deadpool costume, before which a poster for the project featured Eras Tour-inspired friendship bracelets.
Even so, Reynolds all but shut the rumors down in a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “I wish,” he said when asked about the possibility, joking, “If I ever stop, she’d make a good Deadpool. She’s funny, funny, funny!”

I recently traveled to Boom, Belgium, to attend Tomorrowland 2024 and while there were many unforgettable moments, I wouldn’t have been able to make it through the trip without a pair of supportive sneakers. All of Kizik’s shoes feature well thought-out construction that’s hands-free and saves time. With magazine-worthy good looks, the Milan sneaker is available in nylon or leather materials depending on your preference. I chose the neutral black and white style to make it easier to pair with casual and athleisure outfits. I was able to wear these sneakers for nine hours a day and my feet only felt slightly tired at the very end of the night when I was leaving Tomorrowland. Wearing these shoes gave me enough energy to make it through multiple days at the festival whereas when I wore my usual sneakers (that have my orthotics inside) to Governor’s Ball in New York City, my feet were already feeling sore and tired by midday.
The insert in Kizik’s sneakers are also washable, allowing you to reuse them as much as you want. The rubber sole was also grippy enough to keep me stable as I trudged through the classic festival mud and dirt. I also couldn’t get over how similar the Milan design was to trendy Vejas sneakers, but felt more compelled to show off a pair of Kizik’s since they come with more cushioned support.
After long walks and dancing in these shoes, these will forever be the first thing I pack in my luggage especially during music festival season. When it comes to comfort and style, Kizik sneakers are unmatched.
