After NCT DREAM stole the show during their first U.S. performance at KCON 2022 in Los Angeles earlier this year, the K-pop boy band is connecting with international fans once again with the release of their In a Dream movie. The full-length film will go into Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung’s world both on and off stage as the group prepares and performs their largest concert to date in South Korea’s massive Olympic Stadium.
Throughout the two-hour feature, fans will get live performances, rehearsal footage and intimate interviews in which the seven members discuss one another and also see themselves on screen as they read and watch messages from their NCTzen fans filmed on site. Beyond that, viewers can take in In a Dream via special ScreenX, 4DX, and 4DXScreen experiences, which offer multisensory effects for viewers.
“We are thrilled to release NCT DREAM’s first movie all around the world,” Jongryul Kim, CEO at CJ 4DPLEX, said in a statement. “Also, we are pleased to continue our relationship with Trafalgar Releasing and to partner for the first time with SM Entertainment to bring NCT DREAM’s movie to cinemas worldwide. NCTzens all around the globe now can enjoy the concert performances and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage on the big screen, especially in our special formats — ScreenX, 4DX, and 4DXScreen.”
Ahead of In a Dream‘s release, Billboard got some exclusive reflections from NCT DREAM about the moments from the film they loved and want NCTzens to look out for the most. From the must-see arrangements to sound and facial details, here’s a primer from the septet before you head to the theater for the November and December screenings.
Ciara got dressed up in her finest all-black going-out fit to celebrate husband Russell Wilson’s 34th birthday on Tuesday (Nov. 29). The Denver Broncos QB slipped into a tuxedo for a photo shoot in which the devastatingly handsome pair shared a kiss in their living room soundtracked by Mary J. Blige’s “Everything.”
“Intelligent, Beautiful, Loving, Caring, Thoughtful, Consistent, Special, Anointed, Rare, A Legend, a Winner, Everything that is YOU!” Ciara wrote in the caption to her post. “I love you so much Birthday Boy @DangeRussWilson! Today a King was born! I love you so much! I’m so proud to celebrate you today and everyday.”
Wilson appreciated the loving words, responding in kind to his wife’s post, writing, “I am grateful I get to spend the rest of my life with you. And one day Eternity in Heaven. I love you Mrs. @Ciara Wilson.” The couple, who got married in July 2016, share a daughter and a son.
Back in September, Ciara returned to playlists with the feel-good R&B jam “Better Thangs” featuring Summer Walker. The single dropped after the singer closed a new deal with Republic Records and Uptown Records (in partnership with her Beauty Marks Entertainment label) on the heels of her July single “Jump.”
“For me, joy is the ultimate feeling that I was feeling [when creating ‘Better Thangs’], and I wanted for people to feel that with this record,” Ciara told Billboard after the song dropped. The Grammy-winning artist revealed that both “Jump” and “Better Thangs” will appear on the as-yet-untitled studio album that will serve as a follow-up to her 2019 release, Beauty Marks.

When you’re nervous about saying something in public, the most common piece of advice is to imagine your audience in their underwear. Well, Sam Smith has something very public to say — and they just decided to flip that advice around.
In a new clip posted across their social media accounts on Wednesday (Nov. 30), Smith teased one of the songs off of their new album, titled “I’m Not Here To Make Friends.” In the video clip, Smith is seen looking over a tall balcony, wrapped in a pashmina. As they begin to mouth along with the words, the camera pans down to reveal they’re wearing very little else; a pair of briefs and fishnets barely cover a dancing Betty Boop tattoo on the star’s thigh as they groove along to the track.
The song clip itself offers yet another new sound for Smith as they venture into disco — a four on the floor beat pairs with a grooving baseline as Smith croons about what they’re ready to offer a lover. “I could ease your appetite/ No you’ve never been this high,” they sing. “Don’t be scared if you like it/ ‘Cause I’m not here to make friends.”
The new teaser comes as Smith continues to ride the high of “Unholy” — the Kim Petras collab spent its ninth week on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 3, as well as a seventh week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S this week. Both “Unholy” and “I’m Not Here To Make Friends” are set to appear on Smith’s fourth studio album Gloria, which is due out Jan. 27 via Capitol Records.

Ten became eight on NBC’s The Voice, as one standout survived a nervous Instant Save.
The Voice is nearing the pointy end of its 22nd season. After the remaining contestants performed Monday night (Nov. 28), America voted and the nail-biting stuff began.
Fighting for their lives in the competition were Kim Cruse (Team Legend), Kique (Team Gwen) and Rowan Grace (Team Blake).

For their “last chance” to stay, Cruse performed “Brooks & Dunn’s “Believe;” Kique hit Leon Bridges’ “River;” and Rowan Grace tackled Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.”
Matters took a slight detour for Kique, the teenage Miami native who tested positive to COVID-19 at the end of last week and performed from isolation in a different location.
Following the performances, Kique appeared, again, on a separate screen watching and waiting for the result.
On this occasion, youth had to step aside to class as Cruse, the 30-year-old from Woodville, TX, beat her teenage opponent.
“Kim, it’s hard for me to believe you’re not walking out of here with the utmost confidence. Because when I see you, I see so much gifted, beauty, power and soul in your voice,” Legend remarked. “When I work with you, I just see so much musical understanding and understanding of how to express your voice in such an incredible way. You are just a joy to work with truly.”
Also on the night, Legend and his Team (Cruse, Omar Jose Cardona and Parijita Bastola) performed The Band’s “The Weight,” while Gwen Stefani and her Team sang Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House.”
Cruse joins the final 8, which includes bodie (Team Blake), Morgan Myles (Team Camila), Omar Jose Cardona (Team Legend), Justin Aaron (Team Gwen), Brayden Lape (Team Blake), Parijita Bastola (Team Legend), and Bryce Leatherwood (Team Blake).
This year’s season reaches its climax with a two-part finale, set to air Dec. 12 and on Dec. 13.
Ever thought about what it might be like getting stuck in a museum for a night? Joshua Bassett might have an idea.
The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actor will star as Nick Daley — the son of Ben Stiller’s original night-watchman character from the 2006 film — in the upcoming animated feature Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again. Bassett puts his voice-acting chops to the test in the movie’s first trailer, which dropped Tuesday (Nov. 29).
Unlike the original movie trilogy, Kahmunrah Rises Again — which will air exclusively on Disney+ — is now animated and features many of the beloved characters from the franchise, including Sacagawea, Teddy Roosevelt and Rexy, returning as cartoon versions of themselves, as Bassett’s Daley takes over the role of night guard for his father at the American Museum of Natural History.

According to the film’s synopsis, Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again features Daley, a high school student, who is “following in his father’s footsteps and is determined not to let him down. Luckily, he is familiar with the museum’s ancient tablet that brings everything to life when the sun goes down and is happy to see his old friends, including Jedediah, Octavius, and Sacagawea, when he arrives. But when the maniacal ruler Kahmunrah escapes with plans to unlock the Egyptian underworld and free its Army of the Dead, it is up to Nick to stop the demented overlord and save the museum once and for all.”
The film additionally features the voices of Jamie Demetriou, Alice Isaaz, Gillian Jacobs, Joseph Kamal, Thomas Lennon, Zachary Levi, Akmal Saleh, Kieran Sequoia, Jack Whitehall, Bowen Yang and Steve Zahn.
Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again will premiere Dec. 9 on Disney+. Watch the trailer in the video above.
Grammy-nominated R&B star Omar Apollo isn’t trying to hide anything, despite what one Twitter user may have thought.
In a tweet posted on Monday (Nov. 28), Apollo responded to a fan who questioned whether or not the singer was “queerbaiting” his fans. “no i b sucking d–k fr” the singer wrote in his NSFW response, immediately following the tweet by saying “from the back.”
The original tweet focused on whether or not Apollo was “queerbaiting” his fans by wearing certain kinds of clothes, with the user wondering if the “Evergreen” singer was “like those type ‘i don’t label myself let me wear cropped and paint my nails and i say i find another guy hot’ … i like his song but i don’t like supporting straight men doing queerbating [sic].”

Many of the star’s fans, though, were quick to point out that the term “queerbaiting” doesn’t apply to real people navigating their sexuality in public, but was instead created to discuss the marketing of fictional characters in television and film. “A reminder that queerbaiting refers to fiction where writers hint at a queer relationship without ever making it explicit in order to appeal to queer audiences without alienating straight ones,” one user wrote. “Real people do not queerbait themselves. Stop demanding that people out themselves.”
Apollo recently earned his very first Grammy nomination for best new artist. The “Tamagotchi” singer is up against other fast-rising stars such as Latto, Anitta, Maneskin, Wet Leg and more.
Check out Apollo’s hilarious clapback to the speculation below:
“Shine, it’s your golden hour.” Bodie knows what time it is, and he didn’t let the chance go slipping by.
During Monday night’s (Nov. 28) Live Top 10 Performances on NBC’s The Voice, the California native performed a modern classic, JVKE’s 2022 release “Golden Hour.”
The stirring number allowed Bodie to showcase his well of talents, from rapping to singing, with range and power notes.

Performing with a string quartet, the 29-year-old got coach Camila Cabello on her feet. Afterwards, Blake Shelton remarked that it “may be the hardest song” he’d heard someone attempt to perform on The Voice. “I was also thinking,” he continued, “this may be the greatest performance I’ve ever seen on this show.”
He added, “You’re incredible, dude. I don’t even know what else to say.”
Shelton’s missus Gwen Stefani noted, “You definitely have your own lane. I’m always amazed by your voice.”
Many have been amazing by Bodie’s vocals and abilities throughout his journey on season 22 of The Voice.
During the blind auditions, all four coaches turned their chairs for the singer, after he performed The Fray’s “You Found Me”. Ultimately, he joined Team Blake.
He won through in a battle with Jaeden Luke on Justin Bieber‘s “As Long as You Love Me,” earning high praise from Cabello: “You were even better than I remember in your blind. Your runs were crazy, then your belts were masterful. You were flawless.”
And last week, during the Top 13 Live show, he impressed yet again with his transformation of The Proclaimers’ 1980s hit “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”. Stefani was moved to say that she’s “in awe” of the singer. “I’m crying, first of all,” she remarked. “Second of all, you are so gifted, and so talented… I can’t believe you’re not a huge star yet.”
There’s still time.
Now, America can now vote for the artists to progress into the Top 8.

Balenciaga brand ambassador Kim Kardashian has called out the luxury fashion house for its recent holiday ad campaigns that featured children holding teddy bear bags dressed in what seemed like bondage gear. The campaign has since been taken down from all of the brand’s accounts.

“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” the reality star tweeted on Sunday (Nov. 27).
She continued, “As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.”
Kardashian went on to explain that she appreciated Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology and believes the brand understands “the seriousness of the issue” and will ensure it never happens again.
“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children,” she concluded.

On Tuesday, the luxury fashion house took down the ad campaigns after receiving pushback on social media for the photos which included images of the children with their teddy bear bags.
“We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused,” Balenciaga said in a statement to its Instagram account. “Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign.”
In another statement a few hours later, the brand also addressed a separate campaign that displayed “unsettling documents” that referred to a Supreme Court case relating to child pornography laws, CNN reported.
“We apologize for displaying unsettling documents in our campaign,” Balenciaga wrote. “We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items for our Spring 23 campaign photoshoot. We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children safety and well-being.”
