After privately mourning the loss of his partner and mother of his three children, Jacky Oh, Wild ‘N Out star DC Young Fly posted a loving tribute on Thursday (June 8) to the fellow Wild cast member who died unexpectedly on May 31st of as-yet-undisclosed causes.
“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of realty so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” Young Fly (born John Whitfield,” said of Oh (born Jacklyn Smith), who was 32 years-old.

“You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!! Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat!!!”

TMZ was first to report the news of Oh’s passing, revealing that Smith died in Miami and the Young Fly was in Atlanta shooting new episodes of the show when he heard the news of her death. Oh was one of the “Wild ‘N Out girls” on the Nick Cannon-created MTV series, where she met Young Fly, with whom she shared daughters Nova and Nala and son Prince, who was born in 2022.

“You kno we GOD fearing and we are grounded by the spirit🙏🏾🙏🏾 we never question the HIGHER POWER 🙅🏾‍♂️we roll wit the punches and continue to live righteous 💪🏾 will always tell our kids how much an amazing person you were especially a GREAT MOTHER!!!” Young Fly continued. “You know how our last convo went 🥺 I prayed for Yu and now we are here..”

The post was accompanied by a snap of a pregnant Oh sitting on Young Fly’s lap, smiling pics of her with two of their children and a silly kiss-cam video of the couple.

BET confirmed Oh’s passing in an Instagram post last week, which read, “We, the BET family, extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Jacky Oh and DC Young Fly. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. If imitation is truly the sincerest form of flattery, then Lily-Rose Depp is loving everything Chloe Fineman is doing. The star of the controversial HBO music biz drama The Idol proclaimed herself a big fan of the master SNL impressionist’s take on the series’ chain-smoking, micro-bikini-wearing protagonist, Jocelyn after Fineman posted a killer clip sending up the show’s dark vibe.
“I’m loling 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ….. and ur makeup looks bomb,” Depp wrote in comments on a clip Fineman posted on Thursday (June 8) in which she mocks Jocelyn’s copious cig-smoking habit and the (spoiler alert) final image from the pilot of the troubled pop star’s head enveloped inside a red scarf.

“My audition for THE IDOL (must have got lost in the mail),” Fineman captioned the clip she made in the midst of the Hollywood writer’s strike that has put SNL — and everything scripted in TV and movies — on ice. “Music should sound like a slut, or a whore,” Fineman says in her finest disaffected vaguely Valley Girl accent as Jocelyn while puffing on four skinny cigarettes and wearing a frilly red robe in a sharp send-up of the show’s firmly male-gaze vibe.

“Anyway, I met this guy last night, his name is Tedros… he was dressed in a bat cave, but I think he’s gonna, like, change my career,” Chloe-as-Jocelyn confesses about The Weeknd‘s (who now goes by his given name, Abel Tesfaye) creepy, duster-wearing cult-leader character in the HBO series that debuted last weekend.

In a brilliant spoof of the final scene from episode one — in which Tedros convinces Jocelyn to put a red scarf over her head, secured by tying a belt around her neck as a prompt to find her truest, sexiest voice — the mock Tedros says, “now sing like you can f–k!”

That’s all the motivation Fineman needs to belt Cher’s “Believe,” while polishing off four more smokes and doubling down on the Tedros’ mandatory sex quotient, saying, “music should sound like it’s poly, or bi… like music doesn’t have a gender, it just f–ks, you know?” She then screeches Natasha Bedingfield’s “Pocket Full of Sunshine” and Jewel’s “Hands” from beneath the scarf before slipping into something way less comfortable — Jocelyn’s barely-there bikini — for a hilarious run through the choreo for “the song I hate.”

As promised, Tesfaye — a co-creator of the series — dropped two more songs from its soundtrack on Friday (June 9), Jocelyn’s vapid-on-purpose, good-girl-gone-freaky single “World Class Sinner/I’m a Freak” (aka the song she “hates”) and the ominous score piece “The Lure.”

Those songs follow on the heels of “Double Fantasy,” featuring Future and produced by Mike Dean and “Popular,” featuring Madonna and Playboi Carti.

The “something” that Madonna is now “on to” is a new song with Sam Smith. “Vulgar,” out now (Friday, June 9) via Capitol Records, is a pulsating dance anthem aimed at taking back the titular adjective for your own pleasure. Each of the pair offers their own breathless, spoken-word interpretations of fierce indulgence of the song’s verses, with Smith proudly proclaiming that “you know you’re beautiful when they call you ‘vulgar.’”

On the track’s chaotic chorus, the bass and beat picks up as a swirl of strings play an entrancing melody to lure listeners even further in. As if to accentuate the point, as the song comes to a close, Madonna accosts the listener: “Do you know how to spell my name? B-I-T-C-H,” she snarls. “Go f–k yourself, you heard me, b—h, say our f–king names!”

“Vulgar” comes after a few weeks of teasing from the pair. Smith first teased the team-up in a social media clip, with the pair each chanting “Sam and Madonna” over and over again. In announcing the single last week, the duo offered some new branding for their team-up, restyling their names together simply as “S&M.”

Both Smith and Madonna are currently ramping up their live schedules; after finishing up the European leg of their Gloria Tour, Smith is bringing their show stateside starting on July 25. Meanwhile, Madonna’s long-awaited Celebration Tour is set to kick off this summer, starting at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C., on July 15.
