The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards may have come and gone, but some of the pink-carpet looks will never be forgotten. Most celebrities that stopped for photos seemed to rely on one makeup brand for their glamorous looks: Pat McGrath Labs.

The beauty brand has been known for being a celebrity favorite — just look at Taylor Swift’s red lip in her “Bejeweled” music video for proof. If it wasn’t obvious before, the awards show on Tuesday night (Sept. 12) only solidified its celebrity approval, as music superstars including Cardi B, Anitta and Nicki Minaj showed off the brand’s high-quality and versatile collection.

To celebrate the artists’ achievements and show off the range of looks they debuted, the official Instagram account for Pat McGrath Labs posted Cardi B, Minaj and Anitta‘s looks and the exact products that were used — including some unreleased eye and cheek pieces.

From shimmering lip gloss to rosy cheeks, the artists were all dolled up in Pat McGrath Labs makeup, including pieces that are a part of the brand’s Backstage Essentials sale. If you’ve been on the hunt for some new makeup products and beauty deals, then look no further than these celeb-loved products that can be worn for everyday looks or dressed up for a night on the town.

Rather than dig for the products yourself, we rounded up some of the available products all three artists used below.

Tuesday night’s (Sept. 12) 2023 MTV Video Music Awards had a little something for everyone, from Olivia Rodrigo‘s explosive “Vampire/Get Him Back!” medley to the night’s emcee, Nicki Minaj, previewing an unnamed Pink Friday 2 track and performing “Last Time I Saw You,” to Karol G‘s neon-drenched “Oki Doki/Ta OK” performance, Doja Cat‘s spooky “Attention/Paint the Town Red” trifecta and the show-closing all-star hip-hop 50th anniversary tribute featuring DMC, Doug E. The long, long night swung from country to hip-hop, pop, Latin and rock, with Kelsea Ballerini performing the world premiere performance of “Penthouse,” Fall Out Boy playing their updated Billy Joel cover of “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” Shakira‘s mind-bending, hip-shaking medley of hits before accepting her landmark Video Vanguard Award and a strong showing from K-Pop acts Stray Kids (“S-Class”) and Tomorrow X Together with Anitta (“Back For More”).

Peso Pluma represented for Regional Mexican music with an arresting run through his track “Lady Gaga,” NLE Choppa roped in Nelly for a medley of his “Ain’t Gonna Answer” and his take on the St. Louis legend’s “It’s Getting Hot,” while Metro Boomin’ flooded the zone with Future, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Swae Lee and Nav for the first broadcast performances of “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” and “Calling.”

Italian rockers Måneskin returned to the VMA stage with slightly more clothes to rip through their new single, “Honey (Are U Coming?),” while Lil Wayne stacked up his new single, “Kat Food,” with a medley that also featured “Back That Azz Up” and “Uproar” and Global Icon Award winner Diddy presented a medley of his biggest hits, including “I’ll Be Missing You/Bad Boys For Life/I Need a Girl.”

Speaking of killer career overviews, Demi Lovato previewed her new Revamped album, with rocked-up versions of “Heart Attack/Sorry Not Worry/Cool For Summer,” on a night when Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion performed their new NSFW single “Bongos” live for the first time and Anitta danced across the stage to “Used to Be/Funk Rave/Grip.”

Crocs may be described by most as the ugly shoe brand, but celebrities have given it their stamp of approval, coming out with sold-out collaborations and pairing them with their street wear (looking at you, Justin Bieber). Its latest partnership, though, is taking the ugly shoe trend to the next level, as Crocs just dropped Shrek clogs inspired by the big green ogre from the DreamWorks film franchise.

When can you snag a pair of these shoes? The brand dropped them on Wednesday (Sept. 13), but not before giving a tease to fans on Instagram the previous day.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP??? Run, don’t walk to crocs.com!” the caption reads alongside a video with the shoe rising from swamp water (of course).

The brand described the shoes as “wonderfully hideous” in a press release — and it’s easy to see why. The style spotlights Shrek with a bright lime-green foam paired with ogre ears and a nose Jibbitz. To complete the look, the back strap is made with a fuzzy brown teddy material inspired by the character’s outfit from the movies.

Prices range from $45 to $60, and the shoes are available in toddler, kids and adult sizes. The collection doesn’t end there, though. You can also collect more movie-inspired Jibbitz, including the Shrek characters Donkey, Princess Fiona and Puss in Boots charms, which cost $5.

Classic DreamWorks “Shrek” Clog
$59.99

Expect people to do a double take when they see your feet showing off these shoes. Not only do the Crocs sport the classic low-profile, but the foam material is waterproof, and the shoe features holes on the upper for added ventilation and breathability.

Size out of stock? You still have a chance to snag a pair through resale retailers such as StockX and eBay.

This isn’t the first movie collaboration Crocs has done. The shoe brand also teamed up with Barbie for a pink-filled collaboration you can wear with your Barbiecore outfits as you watch the movie digitally or on DVD.

Now, there’s the Roland Abante’s heart-wrenching rendition for America’s Got Talent.

Abante, a fisherman from the Philippines, left nothing to chance as he belted out the classic ballad, hitting an array of high notes, with force, control and enough feel to touch everyone in the room.

A standing ovation awaited.

“Look at everyone here. They’re going crazy for you,” remarked Sofia Vergara. “People love you.” This qualifier performance she said, was a “good job tonight, you’re amazing.”

Did Simon Cowell like it? No, not exactly. “Somehow, I loved it,” he remarked. The acerbic Brit recounted how, during his emotional audition, Abante was “singing your life out on stage there. That’s what makes this competition exciting. People who come from all over the world to fulfill their dreams.” America, he remarks, “loves you.”

Fellow judge Howie Mandel remarked, “the perfect song, the perfect voice, it was spectacular. When he sang I will always love you, you just made everyone in the world love you. This was memorable. I believe this was the performance of a final.”

Heidi Klum loved the performance too, remarking that if there was access to a golden buzzer to push him through to the final, she’d hit it.

Sadly, there isn’t. Just two performers from this round go through. Now it’s America’s turn to vote.

Following his audition earlier in season 18, Abante, speaking through an interpreter, explained that he caught fish in the morning, and was a courier and ride-share driver through the rest of the working day. The extent of his stage activity back home is singing karaoke. Judging by his performances on the AGT stage, that lifestyle could be about to change.

Watch the performance below.

Ice Spice knows what’s what! The rising rap star drops some knowledge on Ben Affleck in a Dunkin’ ad promoting her newly announced drink collab in the spot that aired Tuesday (Sept. 12) during the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
The commercial kicks off with the Oscar-winning actor boasting that he’s been promoted to Dunkin’s brand ambassador. (In his Super Bowl 2023 ad for the the coffee and doughnut chain, the star — who is known for his love of Dunkin’ — works the drive-thru window.) He then sits down with the “Munch (Feelin’ U)” rapper, who’s holding a Munchkin doughnut hole in one hand.

“We gotta come up with a drink name, but it’s not easy, right? Nowadays, with social media, the kids — it’s gotta be authentic,” Affleck informs the rapper in a thick Boston accent. “How are people gonna connect you with Dunkin’?”

“Yeah, I’m a Dunkin’ girl!” she shares, which confuses the Air star. The musician then gives him a lesson on who she is and her fandom’s name, telling him, “Ice Spice? My fans are the Munchkins?”

Still confused, Affleck wonders, “Where’re you going with this?”

“Ice … Spice … Munchkins drink?” the rapper spells out slowly for him, a box of Munchkins doughnut holes in front of her.

The director still doesn’t comprehend, and spits out another suggestion — including an attempt to rhyme, which does not impress the actual rapper at the table.

“Collaborating with Dunkin’ and Ben Affleck on this spot was a dream,” the rapper said in a statement. “The drink has a fun twist, a little something in the name for my fans, too. I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”

“Pumpkin spice season has gotten a bit predictable lately, so we sought help from our friends BenAffleck and Ice Spice to create a new pumpkin obsession that only Dunkin’ can offer,” said Jill McVicarNelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’, in a statement about the beverage, which arrives Sept. 13. “The result? The collaboration you never knew you needed: Pumpkin Munchkins and Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee, blended together to create the Ice Spice MUNCHKINS® Drink.”

According to the brand, this is the first time that one of its doughnuts has been combined with its frozen drinks. The Ice Spice Munchkins beverage blends the pumpkin-flavored Munchkin with a frozen coffee, which is then topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle to create the fall-themed drink.

Dunkin’ and Ice Spice are doing more than just an ad spot and social media posts to promote their collaboration. On Tuesday, hours ahead of the VMAs, the rapper revealed a lavish diamond necklace that spelled out “munchkins.” The brand confirmed to Billboard that the blinged-out accessory — which was designed by high-end jeweler Eliantte and features more than 80 carats of diamonds and a chain made from 14k white and rose gold — will be worn by the rapper when she attends MTV’s annual awards show, where she’s nominated for best new artist and push performance of the year for “Princess Diana.”
